Hey I was just wondering how many people have a friends ship like the trio. I have one tought it the total opposite it gender. Two girls and a Guy. lol I'm Harry in the group. The guy is Hermoine. And the other girl is Ron. lol which I might add their going out together. Now were all in different schools but we are still very close.
So how about you?

i don't have a frendship like the trio. its hard to just hang out with 3 friends, one of you will always get left out...

yeah, i have a friendship like the trio, three girls though.
dana would be harry. she's got zillions of friends and everyone admires her.
rebecca would be ron. cute in the nerdy kind of way, and she's really funny.
i'm left being hermione, cause i'm the "smart" one, and i always have my head on straight in weird situations, but i'm still fun.
but like TheMalfoyCousins said, one of us is usually left out, because most things were designed for two. like rollercoasters, it's always 2 to a seat, not three, and tables, it's either a table for two, or four, and one person is always left alone on one side.
but it's not about who gets left out, it's about our time together and i love my friends and wouldn't trade them in for a chance to go to hogwarts.

I don't have one like the Trio, but back in kindergarten, we had one like the Marauders. There were 4 of us and then there were a few others who tagged along sometimes, but it was mainly the four of us. Now, I am not really sure which one of the Marauders that I was. I do know the one who was like Lupin. He was the smart one out of us all. But the others I do not know. Good thing we didn't end up like how the Marauders ended up. One being dead, one a convict, one an outcast of society (werewolf) and one who serves some evil overlord.

^That's what I was going to say. I don't have a "trio" friendship, but I do have a group that I would liken pretty quickly to the Mauraders, only with both genders.

yeah one always gets left out. I never got left out by the three untill they started to going out. then more and more I started to figure out that they were I started to realy feel left out. l But its great I love them anywhay sometimes well go with the boys twin. make me even worse have me stuck wiht him. Hes a great guy to but I rather hang out with the three

Yes I do actually. And no, I can't say either one of us are left out at any point. We all have different levels of closeness with each other and as a trio, we're an extremely tight knit group.

In terms of personalities, I wouldn't say we're terribly a lot like Harry, Ron and Hermione. When I think of us, I can't help comparing our friendship to that of the trio in the TV program Two Guys And A Girl.

There is another close girl friend of mine who hangs out with us pretty often too. And when she does and we become "two couples", that's when I feel we have a bit of a Marauder's friendship going on...

well in high school we had our group of 4 and that could be remisive of the Marauder's, but then things went wrong in so many diffrent areas.

i think friends are over rated they are somthing that you can just get overly attached to, and theyll just leave. its better to be around people thatll just be there, and you could talk to if need be.

but you know, there would be a change of classmates this year, somehow reshuffling........

Yeah I dont have a trio like this.But I have only one close friend.She was new to our school this year and she was left alone and I like making new friends.So I was the one who spoke to her first and we got really closer.I shared secrets with her which I have not shared with any of my friends and she did the same.I gave my support when she needed it.

I think, this thread should be also available for the friendship like the Marauders.

Anyways, ever since I'm in my elementary (primary) and high school (secondary) days, I'm always a member of 4. I have many friends but they are my closest friend so I could say that we are Marauder's.

When I was in high school, the members are two boys(?) and two grils. I could say that the only present in the Marauders are James, Sirius and Remus. I'm glad that no one is like Wormtail. My best friend (a girl) and my close friend (a boy?) are Remus Lupin. Then me and my other close friend (a boy?) are James and Sirius... we're the naughty ones...

Then now, in college, we're the trio but we are three girls but sometimes, our closest friend, a boy, joins us but we could consider our friendship as the trio.

One is Hermione, which is surprisingly, the boy. He is a know-it-all guy... and we actually tease him, when he's raising his hand to answer (because he's the only one who raises his hand... and sometimes, even if we know the answer, we are just letting him to answer... ...), and whisper "Here goes Hermione" (of course, in my native land's language)

Harry is the other girl, because all the professor knows her. And the other one and me is Ron. We're just the easy- going girls and with a lot of sense of humor but sometimes, we like we're more of Fred and George, but then, they're still Weasleys...

I suppose I do, but I've never thought about it that way before, and they haven't read HP so...

My two bestes mates in the world are a boy and girl called Jonny and Lynsey, who are older than me (L is 20 J 22 i'm 19) and they're in a Very serious relationship, they live together and they're planing on getting married.

The only similiarites that we have to the trio is that there are 3 of us, and i guess we have another mate who is kinda like Neville...mates with us, but not as close as the 3 of us, and he always feels left out. (but he's not actually like Neville. He's a drunken long haired socialist who's really quite clever.)

I had that untill i movie. when i was younger (i think when i was six) i was friend with these two boy (i you were wondreing why i was only friend with boy becaue when i was youger i alway got along with boy, not that much these day but anough of my life story) from rembering the boy that was mosly like harry his name was ross he alway wanted to be the hero and i was like ron thou i was alway the scared on (spider and other insecs) and adom was like hermone he was anoying he was soooo bossy, i wander how meny time me and ross broke up with him because he was so boosy,( i knw it was inertor but i we wear six) but i haven't see them in 9 yeas now i wonder if ross is still a hero and adom a boosy boot lol

I have a friendship like the trio, except ours has lasted longer, 10 years to be exact.

I guess I am the Hermione, because I am the girl, and even though the two guys have a greater general knowledge than me, I am better at spelling and grammer etc, so I correct their articles before they send them off to magazines etc.

Ian is a bit like Ron , cos he was an ex who I dated for four years, but he's also like Harry cos one night he came to my rescue at a club when some drunk guy was getting really foul. Ian pinned him to the floor and told him to get out and sober up, it was very sweet.

Tony is also a cross between Harry and Ron. But they are both my boys, and we love hanging out together!
Of course we are also part of a wider group of friends just like the trio too so I consider myself very lucky indeed!

There are these two girls at my school who I call my best friends: Dee and Kimberly. But Dee is such a pain. She is a real dictator and all of that stuff. Kimberly is real wishy-washy and most of the time I can't stand her. But they're my best friends anyway.

Well, for me it's kinda different because there are four of us! But I'm definatly the Hermione! We all hang out with more friends, but we are the closest.

Well, I wouldn't say I have a friendship QUITE like the trio in the HP books, but I do have two close friends who I hang out with a lot. One's a guy ( and a redhead, no less!) and the other's a girl. And they're both dating, heh heh. But we don't really match the personalities of Ron, Harry or Hermione. Plus I have other friends that I hang out with too. But having a friendship like the trio's would be pretty neat!

I had a friendship like the trio quite a few years back, when there was myself and two guys. I think I was probably the Harry character, just because I can see one of the guys as a definate Hermione (He knew everything, but then I wouldn't class him as a know-it-all) and the other guy was even more of a prankster and goof-around than I am!

I dated the Hermione character for a while.

Now I have a friend that is definatly as close as the trio and there's probably a lot of traits that you can see in the two of us like them, except there's just the two of us.

I do, and it was 2 guys and 1 girl. My friend Jen would probably be the Hermione character because shes smart, my friend Joe would be the Ron character because he's really funny and hasn't done that great in school, and I would be the Harry character because the other 2 are definitely the other 2 characters.

I've got such a friendship, but there's not three of us. There are eight (all girls )XD! I don't see one of us as one particular character, just a mix of them all. Although one of my friends is really Hermionish when it comes to homework

I guess I do. It's me my friend Andrew and my brother Mike. People might think that is weird but me and my brother are pretty much best friends. The only difference is, is that i am the only girl but I am more like Harry not Hermoine. Our personalities don't match up with the correct characters but we have the friendship and the closeness.

I have two friends that I would say I am really close to, both girls. I would say that they both would be considered Hermione's because they are both extreamly smart and are the only reason that I passed any class in school. It is a relationship similar to the trio in their younger years in that even though they are girls I am not physically attracted them nor are they to me. But in other aspects are relationship is very mature we have moved on past the "how can you help me?" to the "what do you want me to do for you?" We watch out for each other, and it is great fun.

I'd have to say no, I don't have one anymore. However, I have had two very tight groups of 3 friends (oddly enough completely different people) We were all girls though.
The first time I was Ron of the group. One friend was Harry, and she always thought of the schemes to get us in trouble. I was Ron, always going along with 'Harry's' crazy schemes. And Alex was Hermione, always trying to talk us out of trouble. Our teachers called us the 3 Stooges.

The second time I was Harry. My unfortunate Biology teacher got all three of us in one class. I was usually the loudest, playing with the microscopes during notes. Kelly (Ron) always joined me in disregarding our education, and Ali (Hermione) was the holdup, paying at least some attention to our teacher. Our poor teacher began calling us the "Greusome Threesome."

But enough of my reminiscing. Both friendships of mine drifted apart. We went to different schools in the first, took different classes and had different friends in the second. I sincerely hope the Trio doesn't drift apart . . .

I did. Last year in year 6 I was in "The Unpopular Group" it was bigger than "The Popular Group". In our group there was 8 of us and only 1 was a guy. I feel sorry for him because he used to get teased about it, but anyway none of us left the others out of anything. We were all there for each other when we found out why our friendship wasn't going to as great the next and none of us liked the idea but life can be bad like what happened to us. If all of us got into a certain selective high school it wouldn't have happened but most went to the school we all wanted to go to and the rest of us got scatted everywhere. Up and down the coast even though we still live in the same place.

It is a real pitty what changing schools can do to friends and that is an example. Just like what happened to Dark_Lady.

You probably am sick of me rambling on but in that group I was the Hermione because I hated breaking the rules and mind you I never got into trouble at all.

I have a friend ship group like the trio lol.but it consists of 2 girls and a boy. Im like the ron of the group(not exactly rich) I make people laugh. though come to think of it i am abit like hermione. I am quite into books and things unlike my other 2 mates. and my other firend (how is a girl) is like hermione she is more clever than me. and the lad of the group is like harry i guess. but i like him and i think he likes me so it is like a Ron hermione situation. Though we have petty arguments and my other mates is always in the middle. lol......

Actually if i look at it from a different light I am hermione my boy mate is ron(he is funny) and my other girl mate is Harry(she is like the ring leader anyway)

in my little trio im like the harry of the group excpet for being rich..im the bravest, adn the wisest..and also im the person people like to come to if like they get into deep troubl..e my other friend brittany is the hermione of the group adn my friend linda is the ron of the group..

As me being a tomboy i hang out with guys more and we combined a trio im the only girl my other friends ditched me because they wanted to be alone without me so i went straight to guys ( arn't i weird) im the hermione in the group i read and help them with their homework (even though i dont want to) my friend shaun is harry probably and nicholas is Ron but they dont look like eachother at all, bveing with guys turns on you alot and you start talking like them (its scary) .

Uh...now that I think about it, it depends which friends I group together. But some of us can rarely be seen hanging out in a threesome, so I'd have to say no.

we're two girls and a boy, My friend is quite hermione-ish, she spends the class taking notes, and meanwhile, my other friend (he's a guy) and I play hangman... during the History class. and he's quite blonde, nearly-red-head. so some people say we're ron, hermy and harry, and i'm of course, harry. i don't know why... never faced a dark lord!

I have a really close group of friends similar to the trio, but we have more than three people. My whole school, although everybody is generally friends or aquaintences with everybody else, consists of many small-ish groups and clique-typed clusters. The girls are more cliquey and the guys tend to be in less exclusive groups. I have around 7 or 8 kids in my "group," and we hang out with eachother on the weekends and stuff. It does get a bit claustrophobic sometimes, so me and 2 or 3 of my closest friends trail off once in a while and hang out with another group, who we have gotten pretty close with nowadays.

Once we were in the midst of middle school, most of the guys' and girls' groups started to come together, so now most of the groups are somewhat intermixed, but the guys still hang out with guys more and vice versa. My girlfriend and her group of friends are friends with my group of friends and we got out to the movies and hang out sometimes....

Sort of. In 5th grade there where 3 of us. We are all girls but what ever. Me, Amy,and Shelby were,and are still, a trio and the whole grade knew it. We added people so know there are 7 of us but the 3 of us will always be realy close.

Actually, there was a time when there were three of us...me Lance and Ross. I was Hermione, being the only girl. Lance was Ron, because he was always joking around, and Ross was Harry, because he was the most serious. Haven't really talked to either of them for a long time...
