Yes, it happens after a while on the web without clicking anywhere. That's JK's voice, I believe.

just to let you know, I was messing around on JK'S site, and I diled 267 into the phone. Everything flashed, then the watch turned blue, and it turned into dd's which has the planets on, and the cup of pens and pencils fell over!!! Does this mean anything?

Hey, that's really cool! I tried dialing random numbers on the phone as well, but nothing happened. I've also never heard anyone say 'hello' either- I'll have to try that some time when I've got nothing to do. Thanks for the information, though!

Same here......nothing happened on dialing...even I dialed a number. that was on a ticket in Extra Stuff session. But nothing had happened

I dialed random numbers, but nothing happened. Once, the cup of pencils fell over, but nothing else. I figured it was Peeves. *sigh* I want something cool to happen!

Haha I was playing around with that phone, but reall,y nothing happens, it bores me sometimes, but when I'm bored, I dial numbers in there and see if anything happens.

Have any of you been on 'Extra Stuff'? There is a rubber and you pick it up and rub on the blank piece of paper, then there is a picture and you have to find around the website, a feather, a leaf, a spider and a bottle. I cant find the feather! Have any of you found this before, if so can you tell me where it is?

I've only just discovered this whole official JK website, but i think i might know where your feather is, if you haven't already found it. there was one in the trophy room (fan sites).

may i just ask, how on earth do you pick up all the little bits and pieces. the most i've managed to do was break a pen in the 'rubbish bin' which leaked and made a picture. i've found some bits of the pic, but don't have a clue what to do next!

yeah, i worked out the phone thing, not long after i posted. found the ancient runes book... saw the runes round the rubbish bin... JK is very sneaky...

um, in the fan sites (the paper clip) if u look at the big shield, naming a few fan sites, at the bottom of that, there should be a feather. at least, it looks like a feather. it's blueish, and is just lying there near the 2nd place ribbon.

do you reckon you could let me in on the secret to being able to collect all the bits and pieces? the tab key tells me all this stuff can be moved/picked up, but i can't select anything! i heard about the waiting for peeves to turn it blue and stuff, but it hasn't worked yet. i'm kinda stuck! help would be much appreciated!!!

i guess there must be something wrong with my connection to the site. cos i find lots of stuff, but as much as i try, and click etc, i can't pick them up!!! it's so frustrating. i got the number one, and i also opened a box on the right side shelf, not on the book case, in the trophy room. it's a teeny red one, and i just clicked lots, randomly, and it openned up. dunno why i clicked there, jsut trying my luck i guess. got another award there. so i now have 2. yay.

but i would like more... so the more help, the merrier...i suppose... *laughs at randomness that comes from typing in a forum at 11;55 at night...*

So far I have 12 pages in my scrapbook. Is there any more I should have? I have been looking everywhere. Also I dialed the number- 31071965 and all it did was show a flashing check mark. Was there something else it was supposed to do?

I think, though not 100% sure, that the flashing check mark when you dial that number means you already have the easter egg you would have got through that number, whether it be through dialing that number before or another way. as i think some goodies can be got in more than one way. i also have 12 pages to my scrapbook, so hopefully that is everything!

I'll bet you need to find a phone number on the site somewhere and put that into the phone. I tried the numbers I could find on the hairprush page, but it didn't do anything.

The pencils blowing over is just peeves though. Click on the marble when it happens, you get things. I read that someplace.

Hmm thats wierd, I never pushed that long chain of numbers posted above, I merely typed the numbers 62442 into the phone and got my content. As we all know 62442 is alpha-numerics for "Magic" and was subsequently used in OotP to gain entry into the Ministry of Magic, via the Visitor's Entrance.

I should really watch out for that. The only thing I ever knew about was, yes, dialing 6-2-4-4-2 and dialing 7-3-3-8-3-7. The first one is, as most know "Magic" and what I use to spell out my username . The second is "Peeves". And, I believe, if you dial Jo's birthdate, that also works...So since her birthdate is July 31st, 1965, that would be:

7-3-1-1-9-6-5 or 3-1-7-1-9-6-5 (Can't remember which type of order she put those numbers in. Its either one or the other)

Ive tried it before and it scared the crud outta me, I actually answered the phone and said "hello?" then on the site it was like "Hello, hello?" and I was like "Hi" then it hung up, and it happened again and until I read this post now I figured it out!
