I love Buckbeak and Hedwig! So I would hafta say that my fave beasts are hippogriffs and owls. I would love to have Hedwig as a pet, but I don't know how my cats would feel about that teehee.

Hmm and as for magical creatures I'd have to go with:
1. Dragons: bold, beautiful, powerful, strong, never going to let you down.
2. Basilisk: what can I say, it's just too darn fascinating. And beautiful, and powerful.
3. Unicorns: exceptionally beautiful, in addition to being graceful, loving, healing, and powerful.
4. Phoenixes: incredibly intelligent, gorgeous, and have an amazing regenerative life cycle that just keeps repeating. Plus they always seem to show up when you need them most.

The phoenix is one of the coolest creatures anywhere. The red plumage would look really striking. As for a least favorite, the quintaped is rather ridiculous. I just don't like the story behind them. If you haven't heard of them, it is because they are only discussed in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

my favorite magical animal would have to be the acromantulas just because there so intelligent i also like the baslik because it such a powerful animal like harry said its like and animal voldemort

I think my favorite would be the unicorn... I have always loved unicorns, which is really weird because I have always been afraid of horses... oh well... But yeah, ever since I was a little girl I've loved unicorns... I had a unicorn party when I was 5 and we rented a white horse and it had a fake gold horn on its head and I got to ride it... Of course I screamed the whole time because I hate horses... but oh well... it was fun...
My second favortie would be the pheonix because it is so magical and beautiful...

Definately dragons, but not the Harry Potter kind, I like the kind that don't kill everything in sight. I also like pheonix and house-elves.

My favorite magical creatures are phoenixes, unicorns, nifflers, thestrals, hippogriffs, owls (particularly snowy owls), house elves, and dragons. I like many more, too. There are so many intriguing and interesting magical creatures in HP.

Hmm thats tough! I really am intrigued by hippogriffs, they are just so facinating. Although I only like thestrals because I wonder why only people who've seen someone die can see them, its an interesting concept.

I love the phoenix; I just love the idea of being reborn from the ashes. I also really like the thestrals for the same reason as workaholic .

The nifflers were interesting, but I'd have to say phoenix, merpeople, hippogriffs, and unicorns.

Psh nifflers would be the best. I don't know, they're just great. And I guess you could say phoenixes are pretty cool. You know, with the crying and singing and all that. hah

It is not my favorite, but the Blast-Ended Screwts were certainly entertaining. What were they again...a cross between a Fire Crab and a Manticore? I thought it was funny how everyone (particularly Draco) were complete wusses about dealing with them. Really, they weren't that bad at first.

I'd have to say nifflers are my favorite. Can't help but love something that tore up Umbridge's office, especially more than once. They'd be great for treasure hunting!

Although the pheonix are quite useful in themselves-tears with healing powers (no more boo boos), carry immensely heavy loads (make moving from one house to another much easier), and extremely loyal. What's not to like!

I love the thestral and dragon...they are so cool! I thik that dragons really did exist, because if there were all sorts of weird dinosours, why not dragons.....plus, how would we know or have an inkling about what they look like if they hadn't existed?! Anyhow...I will step off the soap box and jsut say those animals are cool

Nifflers are fun little things. Hippogriffs are obviously cool - and helpful, as we saw in PoA. Also, I've always kind of wanted a Kneazle - like cats. only cooler.

I love all magical creatures. Pheonixes, unicorns, centaurs, dragons, hippogriffs, crups, nifflers, they're all so awesome and interesting. I wish some of the muggle creatures were that interesting. I am thinking of beeding a horse and an eagle to try and make a hippogriff when i get older. That would be amazing!!

I really liked the phoenix, the werewolf, and the blast-ended skrewts hehehhe
The phoenix was just beautiful and had awesome tear-healing powers, Lupin as a werewolf was just fascinating, and blast-ended skrewts sound mean and nasty to RELEASE on ENEMY FORCES!

I think they are really cool and special with there healing powers They are so pretty, too!! I also like the dragons. Escpecially the one that :spoiler: Harry broke out of the bank with!! in the 7th book.

Hmmm... I would have to say Dragon, hippogriffs, and blast end-screwits I just don't understand why all the students were afraid of the blast end screwits they seamed like fun!!

i absoloutly love pheonix's because they're so grace full and powerfull. i also love crumpeled-horned-snorkacks(i think thats spelt wrong but i cant check the spelling cause my books are all packed up while i re-decorate my room ) purely because theres no proof that they actually exist which i absolutly love

My favorites are Dragons and Pheonixes! I love the dragons because, like Hagrid, I think they are beautiful. However, I wouldn't want one for a pet as Hagrid did! I like also like Pheonixes because they are such loyal friends, are incredibly strong, and have magical feathers!

I like the Kelpies. I think thats the one I like. If it is the weird horse who lures people on to their backs and takes them underwater then thats the one I like. I dont know why though.

I love unicorns and all the magical features regarding them! But I must say that my favorites are kneazles and owls!. I love Crookshanks, and what Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them says they are loyal and have a "smell" for enemies or suspicios people. I have a pet cat, it's like a gray Crookshanks and I love it! Owls seem very interesting creatures and loyal too!

But my favorites are unicorns, winged horses, kelpies
augareys, werewolfes (of course), centaurs, kneazle and snitcher.

The horse related creatures are obviously my darlings!

I think I'd like a Gnarle best! They sound ace!
But Hippogriff's are good too. You could threaten people all the time and say 'I have a HIppogriff that beat up Draco Malfoy; in your face!' That'd be great!

I've have to say that my favorite animals would have to be unicorns, owls, and cats. I like unicorns because... well... their just cool! an owl would be cool, because they could carry my mail and bring me stuff, and cats are really cool 'cuz their fun to play with!!

Call me Hagrid, but the unusual creatures are much more fun for me. I really like the basilisk. The quintapeds are intersting. I love the manticores. And who wouldn't want a blast-ended skrewt? Keep your flobberworms and tree lice and everything else. I want a Hungarian Horntail. And a phoenix.

I gotta say Buckbeak was my favorite beast. He was kinda cute in the movie. Hippogriffs all the way!!!! Unicorns are cool, too.

Warewolves! 100%. Go Moony. Also I would have to say that I love Hippogriffs aswell. There are plenty of wizarding beasts I love in Harry Potter but those 2 are my favourites!

I really like snowy owls. I can't believe know one else has put that. Of course, it would have to be a magical owl that stuck to our sleep patterns! What use would it be if it was never awake?!

I also like sphinxes. i've always been interested in the Egyptians etc. so I think that would be really good!

My favorite magical creatures are thestrals. They seem cool, just mysterious. And I kind of like that. I wish I could see them, but I don't really want to watch someone die.

I also love dragons. They're just so rooted in fantasy and mythology. And, strictly in Harry Potter, I love how they are really kind of misunderstood. They almost have a cute sice to them. Until they breathe fire. Then you completely forget the cute side.

My favorites are probably the blast-ended skrewts. Yes, I very well may be quite crazy, but I think they're really sort of funny. It wouldn't be nearly as funny if it was actually happening to me, but when I'm reading about it in a book it's really quite funny. And I like how Hagrid tried to stuff them into pillowed boxes.

I love dragons, I mean I totally understand Hagrid's point of view. They seem so ancient and wise. I know that they could probably roast you alive, but they wouldn't just do it out of hatred for the human race (unless they were evil). Anyway, they come in such an assortment of colors and I just think that they are awesome. Perhaps I am crazy, but just a little, but as I said before I love dragons. Keep in mind that I have no real clue why its more like part of my nature. Who knows?

My favorite HP creatures are house elves...they can be kinda cute (like dobby) and they help around the house..but I wouldn't make mine clean after me...for all I care my house elf can be a member of the family! They also have some wicked powers. And I love the Unicorns...I think their hair has some kind or healing power. What a beautiful creature!

Skrewts!!!!!!!!! Just kidding! I think thestrals are awesome! I wouldn't be able to see them, but I think they're so cool. I agree with Hermione17, House Elves are pretty cool too. They do have great powers.

There are so many cool creatures, like Phoenixes, Sphinx (GoF), The dragons, Hippogriffs, Thestrals and I always love the Unicorns and their golden Foals. There's probably a million more I'm forgetting, but those are pretty much my favorites. I love house elves also, especially Kreacher and Dobby and the Hogwarts house elves.

I have two favourites. I loved Fluffy (three headed dog from the first movie). He was pretty interesting. I also loved the hippogriffs(sp?). They're beautiful, proud creatures! Ever since reading the third book and seeing the third movie, I've wanted to ride a hippogriff

I think my favorite Harry Potter Beast is definately the Hippogriff. And I know they're not beasts, but the little things Fred and George made the Pygmy Puffs....their sooooo cute!!! LOL!
