You all will do a great job and I'm really very excited to working along side you all. You give a lot to the forums and I count myself as fortunate to have been able to get to know some of you a bit better. I have all the faith in you in your new positions!

Just to let everyone know that with the final book in the series only a few weeks away, we've had to take on a few new staff members in anticipation of what is likely to be a pretty chaotic few months for the fandom!

Gaburdette, etphonehome, and Felix_Felicis_444 will be leaving their previous jobs as Head Aurors and will very soon be joining the moderating team

To replace them, I'm pleased to welcome on board Hilly, After the Burial, and savingharry as our new Head Aurors.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all six sincerely for their interest and dedication to keeping the forums running, and would like to wish them all the very best in their new roles.

Head Aurors are selected from regular members who show an outstanding knowledge for the rules and also exhibit great posting abilities. Most people chosen for these positions really get around the boards and come on to VTM frequently to talk about a variety of topics. Wizengamot members are often chosen from existing Head Aurors.

Most of the time, asking a staff member if you can become a staff members as well will not increase your chances of getting there, nor will bugging us or writing pseudo-mod posts on the forums. My best advice would be for you and any other members to simply go out and post!

We'll notice, trust me.

Since it was never official announced, I'd just like to publicly congratulate Jana...aka Potions Mistress on becoming the latest member of the Veristaserum Staff as a Head Auror.

Jana, you are already doing a fantastic job, keep up the good work!

Congratulations, Jana! You are truly deserving of this promotion. You always have such great, well thought out posts and a wonderful, positive attitude.

Some of you have probably noticed, but just recently we have a new member of the Wizengamot! Hilly has served as a staff member for quite some time, and she's been an excellent Auror. I have recently appointed her to Wizengamt, and I know she will do a fantastic job! It's great to have you on the moderating team!

Also, though she has taken a slight break from being a VTM staffer, Aethonon is back as an Auror! Anyone who has had contact with her in the past will know that she is very friendly and helpful to members new and old! Welcome back, Aethonon!
