I have a black iPod nano 1st generation! In my opinion, that's the prettiest of the iPods

No offense! I got it for Christmas a year ago, and I don't think I could have lived without it now. 1000 songs in my pocket! I love that, together with my Koss Porta Pro

I really want a blue iPod nano but I don't have one...yet!!! My mom said she would possibly buy me one. I'm super glad because believe it or not I don't have very much money...I don't get an allowance or anything. Two of my friends have iPod nanos and they're always listening to them and basically waving them in my face while I pull out my clunky huge CD player and my bulky CD case. It's quite a nuisance.

No, I don't have one, and it's AMAZING how few people have one here (according to the votes) cause at my school you. Are. A. FREAK if you don't have one. hehehe.
Actually, I once read somewhere that iPods are becoming....*frowns*. Well now a pop icon, but I think something like.... Darn, I keep forgetting, but something along the lines of "necessay, and everyone has one".

My brothers have iPod shuffles, but theirs broke! I don't have an iPod at all. I still have a CD player... I don't listen to music all to much. And if I do it's normally in my room when I'm bored. I play it really loud so everyone can hear it! Lol! But I also don't like very many kinds of music. So nope, no iPod for me, and I'm fine with that!

I don't have an i pod, just an Mp3. What's the difference by the way? Well I love mine, have over 2000 songs on it and basically couldn't live without it now. Although I do prefer to blast my music from it's speakers, it's great to have all your music on you when your on a night out.

I have a nano, I love it. I have an iTrip for my car, and it's all I listen to. I don't have 2000 songs, I just have the songs that I like. I haven't listened to the radio since September, it's awesome.

ChoCo and amortentia_lover, hi-5! Black is way best! I mean, it's so beautiful! When I listen to music I often look at the iPod and just see how pretty it actually is

I don't know what I would have done now if I didn't have it. I have it with me everywhere, school too. I sit 30 minutes or so on the subway, so it's great to have an iPod

But I'm really careful with it, I've never lost it in the ground or something.

Nope, I don't have one. Basically everyone in my class has one though. And my siblings too. But I don't have enough money to get one and my parents won't buy me one. I really, really want one too! I think my friend is getting and iPod for her birthday so she might give me her MP3 players since she won't need it anymore. We can only hope!

Ooh. iPods are awesome.

I have two iPods actually.

One for storage and one for music. I was getting really tired of having to split movies and big files in order to fit on a jumpdrive so I use a 30GB iPod for storage. It's much more efficient than having to carry around a bulky external harddrive.

There is one thing that I can't stand about the iPod though, and that is Apple's wierd unicode that compresses your songs. If you ever look inside your iPod (the files) you'll notice that the songs are not in any specific order. Not by artist, not by title, not by anything apparent and the .mp3 titles are what appear to be 4 random letters. It's annoying because I don't know which song is which therefore can't transfer songs and videos from iPod to computer.
But moving right along then... I'm really psyched about the iPhone's release in a few months! iPod, Cell, Internet all in one... a dream come true, eh?
Caoo
Mar 26 2007, 03:28 PM
Yeah, I know, I've noticed that too. Well, last summer the computer died, and I lost all my music, but luckily I had my iPod. But then the question is; How do I get the songs from the iPod to the computer? My brother helped me, and we downloaded something called iCopy, I think it was. You can transfer 100 songs before you have to buy it, but if you just uninstall it and istall it again, you can take as many songs as you want to. That's what I did! I guess it's other methods of doing it, but that worked fine for me.

Ooh, yeah, the iPhone! It looks too cool to be true. It's soo.. cool! I mean, seriously! xD

I haven't got an ipod but I'm saving money to have one because some of my friends have got it and they're are really interesting (especially the ipod video).
Maybe I will save more money to buy an iphone because it has got the same tools that the ipod video but it have a mobile phone too; everything in an only object.

My dad has a 30 or 60 gig iPod. I've got an mp3 player so I don't use his, though.
I don't see why everyone likes nanos. They practically cost the same as the regular ones, but they're smaller and hold WAY less. If you have a reg one you could fill it up forever, cause if you run out of songs to put in it, you could start putting in movies and/or podcasts.
I don't think people know 7,500 songs that they actually like, but they sure know 250 or 500.

I named it steve. lol im weird. Ooh but i got a nano for jogging its easier to have the little one than the big one, i guess i think it slows me down, (once again im weird), im sure its all in my head. I don't like it much tho its super small and i keep thinking im gonna break it.Oh the iPhone lol i already told my mom i wanted it she said i was nuts

I have a cute pink 2nd-gen iPod nano. I am very OC about it and it has upset me that there are now small scratches starting to appear at the back of it. I don't have a cellphone because texting is a waste of time for me and there are a lot of perfectly working payphones around here so the iPod is my gadget of choice and if asked to choose a side between iPod and Zune, I'd choose the iPod in a heartbeat. With the Zune, you can't download songs from Limewire.

Mayday mayday ipod down!!!!!!
First off id like to say that iv realized that my ipod nano runs out of energy power really fast, and i have to charge it all the time. errr
second i have really bad news about ipods- a study was done on ipods and yesterday on the news a scientist said that he did a study with like over 100 people, he had every single one listen to their ipod. When they were listening to their ipod he was monitoring their heart beat/rate. Now this scientist started seeing that when the person was listening to their ipod their heart rate would be normal, but when the person would move the ipod close to their heart, the heart rate would speed up all of a sudden. Now the scientist thought that this was really weird, so he studied on many other people, and with every person the same thing happened. Their heart rate for some weird reason would speed up when the ipod was close to their heart. Now if you dont know what im talking about ill just say this- when your ipod is close to your heart it makes your heart pump blood fast which is bad. there.

My Grandmother got me an ipod video for Christmas. I just love it! I don't know what I would do if I lost it.

It has all my songs on it and I really don't have any cd's anymore. If I did lose it I'd probably be terribly sad. Kind of pathetic, really. But I love my ipod!

Okay.. at first I was really scared when I read that.. but then, who has their iPod close to their heart? I never have it there anyway. I always have it in my pocket or something. And anyway, I think it's not only the iPod who does what you've described. My guess is that any electronic thingy will do the same, as cell phones. And I don't think it'll kill you either. So...

I got my iPod nano for my 18th birthday, and I adore it, lol--I have a very eclectic taste in music, generally finding songs I like through fanvids on youtube, and so iTunes and iPods are perfect for me, b/c I can just buy single songs easily and not have to track down CDs or something! I listen to my iPod all the time, and I just love it. It's my most prized possession....

I love being able to sit and watch movies or tv shows while I'm on a long car ride so I can just drown everything else out. It's been my constant companion now since Christmas, and I don't know what I'd do without it!

Wheeeeee!!!!!! I finally got an iPod nano -- the blue one. Although when I first got it the iTunes software wasn't working and I was getting all worried that my mom had paid $200 for nothing, but eventually it started working and now I listen to my iPod everyday. I wish it could have music videos on it because there are lots of music videos I like, but I'm content with just listening to music, I know there are people who wish they had at least an iPod shuffle so it's all good.

I hardly go anywhere without out it and I have an iMove which I plug in at night and I listen to my music all night and it charges my iPod while its playing and so in the morning its ready and charged so im ready to go.
