Take poll, reply and say which question you chose

MOD EDIT : Hi and welcome to the forums!! Please take the time to read through the forums rules before you post again. The use of netspeak and personal abbreviations are not allowed. That's "u" and "?" in case you're wondering. I've edited it for you this time but please type in full next time.
Luke_57
i can answer the second question for you...HIS EYES and whole apperance in general seeing as it is an almost mirror of his fathers
Darren
HaHaHaHa, I love that... Having now seen the results everyone wants to find out whether Voldemort's Boggart is in fact Dumbledore or Harry or some other object that's going to be vital to the plot soon.
graeme
I would ask to just make sure i am right (as always) he only fears dumbledore. Everybody knows that
Snuffleupagus
I voted for the "If Lord Voldemort encounters a boggart, what would he see?" But if I the chance I would ask her what James and Lily Potter did for a living? How did they get that small fortune?
Lulu
Cool poll!

I really wonder what Lord Voldemort fear the most, so that's the question I voted for.

His greatest fear I think is death, because in OoTP when Dumbledore and Voldemort dueled, Voldemort said: "There's nothing worse than death, Dumbledore", so probably would see someone or himself die if he was to face a Boggart.

But if JKR came up with something else I would love to hear it, and of coures we can't be certain we just have theories.
Ghost
I voted for Voldemort and a Boggart. I really think it would be a scene of himself dieing and not turning into that weird spirit thing that he turned into last time. I mean, he spent a good part of his adult life trying to make himself imortal.
gryffin_hauz_88
I want to know what would be Voldemort's boggart and to my surprise, everyone who posts there answered this. I think, it would be defeat and death.
nightingale_song
I voted for what Voldermort would see, if he encounted a Boggart. I agree with the others, probably death would be his fear. But i would really like to now what J.K would write, she seems to have alot of ideas up her sleeve. cool.gif
krazy_kimmy
voldemort is most scared of dumbledore! hence the chapter the only one he ever feared!!!!
Ghost
Yeah, it says the only one he ever feared, not the one thing he fears the most. I think he fears Dumbledore because he knows that he might be able to kill him and he doesn't want to die.
AnaT
well, this was tricky. i was kind of cought between the first and last options though obviously i chose the questions about Voldemort's boggart.
no one voted for it, but don't you really wonder if the type of core or wood a wand is made with affect the person who the wand belongs to? i think it really has an importance. actually, it obviously does if wands made from the same material or more specifically, exactly the same creature can't fight against each other (as seen in graveyeard scene).
MalfoyH8er
I picked...If Lord Voldemort encountered a Boggart, what would he see?

hmm...it would be funny if it was Spiders!!

eww..I hate spiders...I made myself scarred... ohmy.gif ..LOL
magically delicious
I chose the question about the heirs of other houses because there hasn't really been much about the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff founders in the books so far...
Quality Quidditch Supplies
Yup, same here. Plus, it would be great evidence for my camp on the HBP, Godric Gryffindor. We could assume that if there is another heir in the books, it would be the other prominant house: Gryffindor. wink.gif
Mew
I voted for the Voldimorte one. It would probably be Dumblidore but you never know, it could be something like Harry or Snape or something you never would have thought of before.
kool kat
I chose the Voldemort/Boggart one. Because, I think it will be really important to the series to see what Voldemort fears most!
Nawrehsuan
I picked the Voldemort/boggart one because I really want to know what he fears most. But I think I have a general idea and that he probably will see DD or himself dying.
Hermione_Resilda
I'm the only one who voted for this question, if the type of wand wood affects the person who has it, I think it was.. I would've voted for Voldemort's boggart, but I think it's a bit simple, Voldemort's greatest fear is death, so..

As for the type of wand wood, I'd like to see that question answered because, I wonder, do some wands work with other people controlling them?
blackflames
For those who don't know, and excuse me if this has already been said, but JKR said Voldemort's boggart would be of himself, lying dead on the floor.
magical_number_7
I went for Harry's physical features one. I really want to know if Harry's eyes, which are so ofthe mentioned, have any significance in the books.
Bella
I chose number of Weasleys, because JK said it's important that Ginny is seventh child. But there's a question that isn't here and I wish someone at last ask JK this: Is Harry (his scar) one of the horcruxes?
Padfoot12
I voted for the one about Harry's physical features, because JKR said that there is something very important about his eyes. No doubt this has something to do with Lily, but I'd like to know what...hmmm....

Thinking hard,
*Padfooot
*pretty in punk*
I would have to say the last question. I would like to have the answers to all the questions to tell you the truth. People say(and even in the books) that he feared Dumbledore, but what if it's something else. His death seems plausible.
Velvet
I Love all of those questions and would ceratinly like the answers to them all tongue.gif

but my favorate question is the

QUOTE
Is it possible that the number of members in the weasley family has a greater importance

one, especially with regards to Ginny being the first girl and the seventh child, as there has been great speculation concerning her importance following numerous documentation about the importance of the number 7 in magic - I don't think that it is just a coincidence that '7' has been stressed throughout the books and that Ginny is the 7th child who happens to be the love-interest of Harry 'The Chosen One' /'The Saviour' etc, is the losest sibling in age to his best friend and is close/best friends with Hermione - so Ginny has links to all three in the 'trio'

One of my friends suggested that each of the seven children may represent a sin, wrath, envy, gluttony, pride etc - I can't actually remember how she fitted it all in but it did seem to work, I think that Percy was Pride or Greed (I can't remember) and that Ginny may be Wrath (she may do some desperate action in revenge for the loss of a loved one), I'm not sure about it to be honest but it did sound interesting

EDIT: I just remembered - Ron was Envy (because throughout he has been envious of Harry)
harry potter rox my world
i know [wut] voldemort would seee! he would see himself dead!!!! see, he's afraid of death.

MOD EDIT: Minor netspeak spotted. Please be careful next time, thanks. ~zyra
LosersLurgy
Although I slightly know the answer to this question, I think it would be fun to hear from the author. I think he would see himself dead, because he fears death, as Harry Potter rox my world said. mellow.gif
james pickles
I chose the Weasley one because we already know what would happen if Voldemort encountered a Boggart, he would see Death, that is what JKR said anyway, so I want to know if the number of Weasleys have any relevance.
Harry_Ginny777
i think if i had to pick a question for me to ask J.K. Rowling it would be. If Lord Voldemort encountered a Boggart, what would he see? i think she already answered it though i think she said it would be his own death. but that is a really good question.
Velvet
With regards to the Weasely family qestion (and the idea that Ginny being the first girl and seventh child overall) I found this at Wikipedia

QUOTE
There appears to be a running theme of Arthurian legend in some of the Weasley family names. The father is named Arthur; the daughter is named Ginevra, which is the Italian form of Guinevere; the name "Percy" is a shortened form of "Percival," and "Ron" is the name of Arthur's spear in Geoffrey of Monmouth's Historia Regum Britanniae, and in the "Brut" poems of Wace and Layamon [1] [2] (it was originally "Rhongomynyad" in Welsh legend).

Guinevere was the consort to King Arthur, most notable

1) forher affair with Lancelot (which leads to the downfall of Arthur and his kingdom)

2)and her abduction by by Melwas, king of the "Summer Country" and held prisoner at his stronghold at Glastonbury. The story states that Arthur spent a year searching for her, found her, and had assembled an army to storm Melwas' fort when Saint Gildas negotiated a peaceful resolution and reunited husband and wife.

3)She is predominately depicted as being childless

could this have any relevance for Ginny? I can't quite pick up of anything myself, but I did think that it was noteworthy that there is an Arthurian theme in the Weasely family

Deffinatly the Voldemort question!!! What ever his fear is could be a strong connection on how to defeat him. If it was something like loosing power then it would really help but I think its probably something to do with his family. mellow.gif ph34r.gif unsure.gif
lillyevans
yeah what would voldemorts boggart look like? what are his fears?
crookshankskitty
I chose "If Voldormort encontered a boggart what would he see." I just took a wild geuss (sorta) and the first thing that popped into my head was himself being killed by Harry.
rjtwerp
It would be REALLY funny to see what Voldemort was scared of! laugh.gif But, him being so emersed in evil...he might not be scared of anything... huh.gif
Spadice
it was a toss up between the voldemort bogart one and the 7 weasly kids. i put the 7 weasly kids one though, because i have read some very interesting theories about ginny being really powerful cause she is the 7th and all this sort of stuff, so i would love to know what thats all about or if ti is just us making it up.

i would also ask her when she plans to release the 7th book. i know there are rumers going around, but i cant wait to find out the actual date. i hope it is the 7th of july 07. it has a nice ring to it.
besty
i picked the other parts of harry mean anything becaues everyone says his eyes are really important in book 7, but it would be really interesting to find out what volemorts boggart will be, although it would have to be himeself dead, or something else to simbllies(sp?) death.
prince_halfblood_22
although i voted for Voldemorts Boggart, i think i already know of some possibilities.

Lord Voldemort's Boggart (Possibilities)

1) Himself dying at the hand of Harry Potter, and dying from the effect that love has on him.

2) Maybe Darkness.

3) Albus Dumbledore.

4) All the people he has oppressed.

5) The ghosts or echos of those whom he has killed.
________________________________________________________

Another choice i would have made in the poll, is the one asking if any of the other house heirs, would be reveiled.

I have possiblitities for this as well:

Hufflepuff Heir) Neville Longbottom, because of his extraordinary talent with Herbology. Ernie McMillan, because he is sorted into Hufflepuff and he is very noble, kind of reminds me of Cedric Diggory in a way.

Gryffindore Heir) Harry Potter, he is by far the Bravest, most stubborn, and most daring of all the Gryffindores by far, since Godric himself. One of the Weasleys or possibly all members, because, the whole family is or was sorted into Gryffindore, also, many of the past Weasleys that are deceased were sorted into Gryffindore.

Ravenclaw Heir) Most likely Hermione, she is by far the most intelligent of all the students at Hogwarts, she may be just as intellingent as Albus Dumbledore, in some aspects. Luna Lovegood, she got out of the Ministry Fray in the OotP without even a scratch, didnt she?<Rhetorical. also she seems to know more than she pretends not to know.

Slytherin Heir) Thomas Marvolo Riddle, he is known to be the heir to slytherin, the CoS proves this.

HPFan792
I would want to know what Voldemort would see if he encountered a Boggart.I think it is a good question to ask J.K.Its also a hard question to answer.I couldn't possibly imagine what the Boggart would turn into. There are many possibilities but,I just cant come up with what he would really see.
Loopy_Luna
Like everyone else I wanted to know what Voldermorts boggart would turn into

Would it be death - maybe not as at present he still has his horcruxes and not be fearing death.

Would it be Dumbledore - He has always been afraid of Dumbledore

Or would it be Deatheaters - Having went over to Dumbledores side

I need to know
maia_potter
I chose (like most of the people who took the poll, I found later) If Lord Voldemort encountered a Boggart, what would he see?

I think that there are so many questions that I would like to make to Jo, but from the options here this one was by far the most interesting.

I believe that it will be something that represents death. It could be Dumbledore, but I guess that it's more likely to be something related to death, since Voldemort is terrified about death, in other case, why is he so desperate to achieve inmortality? Besides, Dumbledore himself said so.
However, it would be so funny if it turned out to be something really silly xD Or perhaps what he fears the most is love, seeing as it's something he don't understand, like I saw in an icon "all Voldy needs is a big hug" hehehe biggrin.gif Anyway, I'm still with the death boggart.
xD
Claire
Jo said on her site that Voldemort would see his death..... or himself dying.. or something like that. So I suppose that answers that question.
Phoenix92
The Voldemort question!!I think it would possibly turn into Albus Dumbledore or as Claire wrote he would see his death.(death also scares him).
62442al_Man
I believe the answer to Voldemort facing a boggart would be the boggart turning into Voldemort dead and cold and unmoving. For Voldemort fears death. So is this poll old? I don't know...but anyways...I chose the wand core one. It seems interesting enough. Hagrid doesn't have a, what is it...18 inch oak for nothing XD. Or, rather he HAD... tongue.gif
Dark_Fairy3
Hmm.. which one did i pick? J/k. I believe Voldemort's boggart would be Dumbledore. But i think he's afraid of Harry too (how many times has Harry outsmarted him?) Dumbledore fell, but Harry won't without at least defeating Voldemort first, that much is obvious. If you ask me, his greatest fear should be Harry.
MarkD
I find the question of Voldemort and a boggart to be quite an amusing one! I know right off the top of my head that he would either see himself dead, or he would see Albus Dumbledore - the only wizard he ever feared.

Which leads me to ponder the question, as the series moves on, does Voldemort begin to fear Harry?
little_aussie_witch92
I don't know why so many people picked the boggart question; it's obvious! He's see his downfall. He'd probably see himself dying or dead, or Harry coming out to kill him and him being powerless or something. I voted for the heir because it's an interesting question, but if I really met J.K I'd probably ask her a question completely different to those here.
lemon_tree_girl
Uhmm, I would like if there were more interesting questions than theese which were offered
Spencer Potter
I was wondering if we would ever find out the heirs to the other houses and if Voldemort encountered a Boggart what would he see. But I got an answer to that, him dead, he is afraid of death! happy.gif
taintedlove-xx
Oh my god , the one about voldemorts bogart was a really good one . I've never really thought about it before , I wonder what he would see....and I want to know what Dudly heard around the Demetors..
darknessdolly
I like the Lord Voldemort question the best. It is the funniest and most witty question. Some of the other questions are a bit obvious and/or slightly childish. Why don't you ask her what size Narcissa's waist is? Then I can know how hard it will be to fit into next year's Halloween costume!
