He MUST have been with Gryffindor. Where else?

I may have mentioned this on another thread but I do think Peter was in Gryffindor. If he was in Hufflepuff or something I don't think he would have ended up hanging around with James & co anyway: He would have been with the 'cool' Hufflepuff people. There don't appear to be that many cross-house, strong friendships in Hogwarts, probably because the houses do too much on their own, and nobody seems to know anyone when they first arrive at Hogwarts.
There is also the 'maybe we sort too early' conflict. Remember when in Snape's memory when Dumbledore was telling Snape how brave he was, and how he ought to of been in Gryffindor (well, he was implying that anyway). The same thing could have of hapened to Peter too, except in reverse. Maybe he always had a slight streak of bravery to start of with but sort of faded away over the years. Or maybe he just did a Harry and asked to be put with the really 'cool' guys he met on the train.

he could have been a gryffindor and not a slytherin or whatever like hermione could have perfectly been a ravenclaw instead of a gryffindor. he had to have something gryffindoresh

I think he was in Gryfindor. It makes it since. He was brave and daring. Hagrid seems like he would be in Gryffindor. Just a hunch. I think very much he was in Gryffiindor. It just makes since to me.
