Can anyone show any pictures of what exactly is inside the door? I really want to know and I don't think she will open it again.

Well, I don't know about pictures. Did you missed them the last time?

One thing you could do is check when is the dates that the door was opened and check from the news archieve here. Matthew had posted on how to open the door everytime the sign was taken off.

Or, read the content of what's inside here. But there's no picture from the quick look I did just now.

Well the door wont open only if the sign is off. You should wait until its taken off...

I don't think it will be opening anytime soon- after all, JKR still needs to write Book 7 first or at least make some headway before she can start revealing things to us.

But if you check out www.godrics-hollow.net then they have a section on the main page which says;

They have screen captures of what was behind the door last time it opened.

by reading her books , i found that she can think of anythink!!
so i droped a conclusion and used the theory of sherlok homs.

i thought that i would be wanting only intelegent persons ( just
like myself !!!) so i would hide a wand somewhere and
wait for someone to cast alahomora on the door.
i searched everywhere for a wand but if i haven't missed any
secreat passage or something i didn't find any wand

Well, personally, I'm crossing my fingers that on Halloween she might have a little something special to share with us....in my opinion it would be an excellene time to kick-off the Book 7 hints.

Nice idea, kat, but I highly doubt it. She's said she isn't even starting to write it properly until after Christmas, didn't she? She hasn't even updated in a long time...I guess she's concentrating on her new baby for a while. Those little guys take up quite a bit of time...

I have never seen what's behind the door!! It sucks! Anyways, it would be nice to see something on Halloween, but it's doubtful. Maybe on Christmas, then? That'd be nice...I thought she wasn't going to start writing until next year? Oh well, same dif. I'm so excited!! Who cares if it takes two years!!!

The door Hasn't opened yet.........31st October has gone so days back , I m checking it continously.....may be Jk Rowling herself open that door, and now a days she is busy, as she said, so the board hanging there "donot disturb", cannot be removed

Well as was stated before JKR hasnt even started writing the 7th book so I dont think we will be seeing it open any time soon...

By the way Shining Star the picture in your siggy is too big it can only be 400 ACROSS by 150 DOWN! please fix this as soon as possible..or a mod will have to do it for you

I do think JK will give us a Holiday special she seems to care about us and I think she is almost 4 months into book 7 we may see more chapters again.

Why do you think she's 4 months into it? She has no deadline and has said several times that she was planning on getting down to the actual writing early next year (2006).

She has three children, at least one of them very small, and speaking as one with small children myself I'd say it's going to take her quite awhile to write Book 7 because she's not going to be writing full days like she used to. You can't with small kids, I don't care how much money you have. They want Mom.

Perhaps next Halloween there will be something, but I surely wouldn't be looking for much before then.

This is her last Harry. She's going to want to take the time and make sure its the way she wants it.

The anticipation is killer, I know, but once that book comes out it's all over.

again, I love this person because I was so bummed when I heard I had missed the openings of the door and I was hoping to find at least a picture of it, then I found this archive when you can actually play it yay

well thats cos it's a puzzle. you got to work at it to get the prize... there's another link on that same page that shows you how to do the puzzles... but if it's not working, sorry, I dont know what to tell you. and you're welcome for the link.

hey everybody, I'M THROUGH THE DOOR.
it's really nothing special behind it only harry potter 6 book and a w.o.m.b.a.t. notepad
and a candle and a sand watch and a bit of useless things, but the exciting part:
you must put several drops from the red and green potions in the plant beside them, it will grow a few inches and you will the special prize,
a golden certificate will appear which tells you that you that you won a prize, there will be a link in the bottom of the certifcate press it to give you the prize, mine was a list with all the subjects in hogwarts and the full names of the teachers and several names for hippogriffs.

Wow, the door is open again! This has got to be something big, right? How many drops did you put in the plant MIKOH? I've been trying but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Edit: I managed to get it to work! And I now have 3 things in my scrapbook! Actually, make that 10! I can't wait for my WOMBAT test results... that was quite a good test.
