There are so many different kinds of deliciouse snacks in the Harry Potter series! (chocolate frogs, bertie bott's every flavored beans, ice mice,...etc.) What kinds would you just love to eat? What kinds would you run to the bathroom after?

This thread is devoted all to the delicious Harry Potter snacks.


My thoughts, I would really like to try Ice mice. How would they taste? Would they be a really strong mint? I would also like to try some bertie bott's every flavored beans. I said some everybody! (some does not include earwax). I dont think I would like the Blood flavored Lollipop. I think those are for vampires!

I've had Acid Pops before. Of course not real ones, but how Muggles make them, and I loved them.
I'd also love to have Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, especially the Spinach flavored.. . Also, that Spirment (I think) floss that Hermione was going to get for her parents. I don't know if you can eat it, but it was in Honeydukes..
As for the blood flavored lollypops, Hermione did says that they're for Vampires in the third book .

A pumpkin pastie every once in a while would be nice...I've always wondered what they'd taste like...pumpkins, perhaps? ...

there's sooo much...you ppl r right....i think the chocolate frogs must be delicious! i haven't had one before but my brother has when he went to america. they aren't real (isn't it obvious) but he said that they tasted lovely! he also got a card out of it...nad guess who it was....VOLDEMORT!!!

cauldron cakes....they must be nice too....never eaten them but they sound nice...i love everything that's in harry potter! It's all sooo cool!

Well there are some wizard sweets that they have made like sherbet lemons and chocolate frogs and bertie botts. I must say I have loved all of them but I want the real thing. I would like Bertie Bott's at sleepovers. You could have a big bag of them and you could ask each other questions about yourself for eg. What is your favourite colour, and if they get it wrong they have to eat a bean of your choice and wait until the whole bag is gone. That would be really fun. I would also love to collect chocolate frog cards. I swear I should stop coming to this forum because the more I come here the more I want to be in the wizarding world.

ya I agree with James Pickles. In america, the most prominent 'wizard' sweets consist of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. They are every flavor and I mean it! The earwax ones arent too bad, but DO NOT eat a horseradish flavored one. It's so nasty. But I would like to eat the real thing. I love the chocolate frogs and the pumpkin pasties. Ohhhh now I am hungry.....great.....just great....

Aww, it's not fair, we don't have them here And I don't know anyone who's going to America (so I could ask them to get me some Bertie Botts every flavour beans ) But I would SO love to try everything, except maybe the blood flavoured lollipops *grimaces*

tomz_girl --- I dunno if it's a possibility for you, but perhaps you could try eBay? A lot of Harry Potter stuff is sold on there, including, I believe, many of the sweets.


As for me --- I've never tried any of the "real life" ones. I'm afraid I really wouldn't go for the every-flavor beans. I'm like Dumbledore. But I wouldn't mind a chocolate frog though.

i have to say that i would love to have bertie botts beans! we had them here in australia for a while and some of them tasted gross! but others like coconut tasted lovely, but i want proper ones! i'd love to have a sugar quill! i write a lot so it'd come in handy!

Well I love pumpkin so pumpkin pasties and pumpkin juice sounds just delish! I love it when books speak about the characters eating delicious food, it makes me hungry sometimes! I would also love to try chocolate frogs and who could forget the drink that warms everybody's hearts, butterbeer! Couldron cakes sound scrumptious as well (those foody words, I never get to use them! lol). I don't however, think that I would try anything from Fred and George's Skiving Snackboxes!

I would have to eat pumpkin pasties, cauldren cakes,licorice wands, acid pops, chocolate frogs(they would be a bit hard to catch and eat ), and some of bernie botts every flavor beans!

hmmm i dont think i could stand just drinking pumpkin juice all the time...dont get me wrong i love pumpkin but to much i think would be sickening especially in liquid form...although orange juice is mentioned aswell...i think that pumpkin pasties would have a sweet pumpkiny taste just because of the pasties bit....
i also reckon id get alot of use out of the sugar quills too!!!

butterbeer sound like a good drink! yum!!! i also would like to try the licorish wands. they sound yummy! i've tryed the bertie botts every flavored beans before and i LOVE LOVE LOVE the grass. this is probably you right now, but their yummy and sweet!

I would eat Droobles Best Blowing Gum, Every-Flavored Beans, sugar Quills, and BUTTERBEER!!! That sounds like the very best drink in the whole wide world. Let's see...I would also love to feed an acid pop to me brother (just kidding!) Cauldron cakes sound pretty good, as do pumpkin pasties. I love food in general, so just about any magic food sounds good. Just don't give me any Chocolate Frogs!

Don't get the Bertie Botts is what I tell myself when I see them, I got a cinnamon one and it was H O T! Very hot, so I ran to the sink and literally stuck my head in the sink so water would get in my mouth!

And at the beginning of the first movie, I see Ron chowing down on chicken wings. I'd fancy them if they were double boned and had lemon pepper flavor!

Maybe I'd try some licorice wands and some Droobles!

My friend and i had a harry potter night and we made butterbeer. It was sooo gross!! We were like throwing up!! not really...but it was soo bad..don't make it!! but i really want to try a chocolate frog...those would be soo delicious, and the cards would be really fun to collect!!

I've had Fizzing Whissbee's which were okay, but not very fizzy . I've also had bertie botts every flavor beans and let me tell you, never, never eat a vomit flavoured one! I've also also had a chocolate frog. I lost the wizard card though. I would love to try butterbeer, but not Acid Pops or Cockroach Clusters

I think the chocolate frogs, and Bernie Bott's every flavor jelly beans sound scrumptious! One of the foods that don't seem very appetizing is Butter Beer! (though, I still have the avatar ) I found a recipe for it, and made it, and it was pretty gross!! Also, I would love to eat at a feast in the Great Hall... Imagine having delicious food just appear on a plate in front of you! YUM.

Nevermind Harry Potter food, I just like food full stop. But I do love Harry Potter food. I spotted Sherbet Lemons in Woolworths, they weren't in Harry Potter wrappering cause they were actually sherbet lemons and I went to get them in my Pic n Mix where you put all the sweets you want in a big cup. And my friend got so embaressed of me..I actually got on the floor and kneeled to them and hailed them and I was like "Long live Dumbledore, Bless you little Sherbets". The lady at the counter was looking at me really weird, but I only noticed when I started dancing to the music that was on.

i would love to try harry potter candy! i saw droobles in a tiny bag at a store and i also have seen Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans in a few stores [in a tiny bag as well]. and i also saw cockroach clusters. my mom wouldnt let my buy them . i would like to try Fizzing Whisbees also...ooo i think i saw those also!!!

Well i tried Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans and they were ok.I had a chocolate frog that was ok.I really want to try Acid Pops,Cauldron Cakes,Licorice Wand,and Butterbear.Oh and i did have Fizzing Whissbees they are good.If anyone knows what poprock candy is that is exactly what they are like.

ooo poprocks...i used to like those. really? gosh, i never would have guessed that, i should try them sometime soon. they should like make a store that is completely devoted to Harry Potter merchandise and food. if they already have one, i dont know about it, but they should make one where i live.

i really want to try the chocolate frogs, but the main thing out of the harry potter books i want to taste is butter beer...but this is about sweets so i will move away from that...it isnt untill you go into a thread like this untill you truely realise how much detail JKR has put into these books i mean there is hundreds of different kinds of food that she had made up and they keep apearing through out the books...its not like she has made something up on the spur of the moment and then forgotten about it. i think its truely amazing...

anyway back on topic...i would love to try those ton tounge toffies i no my tounge would go big but that could be fixed but it would be an experiance...

Ok Bertie Bott's Beans are really good, they're also really fun to offer to people when they don't realise what they are! I once had an entire bag of them that were only the nasty flavored ones and then got tons of people to try them! Everyone was so grossed out.....IT WAS AWSOME!!! I'd love to have Butterbeer, suger quills and Firewhiskey, though I'm not that fond of Pumpkin so none of that stuff for me.

Ok I must say that i had the Berttie Bots Beans!!!!!! Some of them were quite goood!! But some of them ewwwwwwww not the best. But i must say it was delicious. Wish i knew wwhere i could get more.

Chocolat frogs are the best! And in the fourth book when at the yule ball you just said something and it appeared on your plate. I wish that was real!

I am not too fond of Bertie Botts because whenever I get them there are no good flavors (I am serious, I got like three that tasted normal). Then I love the chocolate frogs and I got to sample a cockroach cluster, which wasn't that bad. I was like a gummy worm! I have seen some other candy (my friend got it for her birthday), but I have no idea where to buy an of it so that is as far as my Harry Potter food experiences have gone. I want a store like Honeydukes too, oh, and how AMAZING would it be to sample butterbeer!

I would love to try the chocolate frogs. Someone said you can get them stateside (the USA), I have never seen them (but I live in the middle of the continent...almost the exact center). I will need to start searching now.

My oh my, I would love to try Madam Rosmerta's Finest Oak-Matured Mead. I positively love mead. I brew my own (thank you college and friends for providing the necessary) because it is impossible to find a delicious mead in my town.

Some of the flavors sounds disgusting though.

I have tried the beans. I wish they made more good flavors. They make so many weird ones (like soap, spaghetti and grass). I know that is the point of the beans, but how about some peppermint, snickers, peanuts or something tasty. The buttered popcorn and vomit beans made me ill. I would settle for a higher concentration of good flavors.

My brother tricked me into eating a rotten egg flavored Bertie Bott's of Every Flavored Beans, but I didn't really think it tasted bad until I ate a second one... so does that mean I can only taste rotten egg half of the time?

Well I absolutely love Bertie Botts Evry Flavor Beans, they sell them at the grocery store below my house. Me and my kids fight over who gets to eat them all. Advice: don't try mixing some of the flavors together, they can get rather disguting! Anyway I would not want to drink pumkin juice, too much of it and you will turn orange! I love chocolate so the chocolate frogs would be a must. butterbeer sounds good, but is it like Root beer or is a sweet drink with a hint of alcohol in it? Anyway Cauldron cakes would be good too. I don't know about acid pops though, I don't want my tongue having a hole in it!

I'd like to try a liquorice wand, even though i dont like liquorice. I'd quite like to try Draubles to i think. Chacolate frogs would be ace. In a way I'd love to try Bertibots beans and in a way I wouldnt. You never know what your going to get. i spose its like revels in a way.

Chocolate frogs, of course, since I'm a chocoholic. Pumpkin pasties sound good, tho I'm not sure what they're s'posed to be like, since I don't know what a pasty is. Bertie Botts--pizza, lasagna, taco, chili dog, chili con queso...all my fave fattening foods. I don't know what droobles are s'posed to be, but I'd like to try them. Oh, and butterbeer. I'm curious as to how that would taste; apparently it's s'posed to be everyone's fave drink in HP. And maybe some cauldron cakes.

I've got some Bertie Bots beans that I bought somewhere. I was eating some green ones (figured it couldnt hurt), and I got one that tasted like grass. They're just used for decoration on my computer now, but I'd love to get more and leave them out and see peoples reactions.
