I was dissapointed in not seeing Bill or Winky (she sounded cute in the book) in the movie. I was picturing Bill in some kind of a metal-head image and he sure sounded handsome while reading #4.

I just have one question....what happened to Dobby????!!!! Think about that.

MOD EDIT: Not the first time you have been asked to look at the rules. One line posts are not allowed on the forums. Please elaborate next time.

Actually, I have one more question.......where's Grubbly-Plank????!!!!

MOD EDIT: You have been here long enough to know not to double post and not to post one line posts. This post has been edited by Snapelover on Feb 20 2006, 06:37 PM

Mrs Weasley wasn't there, and |I thought she was a very interesting character, Percy Bill and Charlie weren't there either. They better be in the next film!

They should be in the OotP because well they're all part of the order and Mrs Weasley leads the cleaning operation where they find a unopenable loaket. Possible Horcrux? That bit has to be in the film.

Finally I am glad to see a forum where people are rather disappointed that people were cut from the movie GOF.

I was disappointed to see that Winky wasn't in the movie, because she played a small but significant part in the book at the Quidditch World Cup, in the Kitchen at Hogwarts (sobbing and drinking butterbeer) and the part with Barty Crouch Jnr after he was given Veritaserum.
I was looking forward to seeing Bill and Charlie Weasley seeing that none of us has seen either of them in any of the movies (well i havn't anyway).
Now Percy Weasley would have been good to see also mainly because I wanted to see him give Harry the evils when Cornelius Fudge was greeting him like he was an old friend (it sounded really funny in the book).
I also wanted to see Ludo Bagman because, yes he was suppose to commentate the Quidditch World Cup, be the one who trys to help Harry out with the Triwizard tasks and cheat Fred and George Weasley out by giving them Leprechaun Gold when they won the bet at the Quidditch World Cup.
Can't forget Dobby of course the one who was "suppose" to give Harry the Gillyweed for the second task (not Neville).
Fleur Delacour hardly said a thing in the movie and neither did Krum.
I would have like to have seen a bit more of the Quidditch World Cup especially the Veelas, when I read it in the book I thought it would have been great to see them but unfortunately that didn't happen.
As for Barty Crouch Jnr I know he was suppose to be in the hearing but not in the audience! Wasn't he suppose to be pleading for his life in the book telling his Father and Mother not to let him go to Azkaban. His mothers dying wish was to get him out of Azkaban using polyjuice potion. Which leds me back to Winky she hides him at the Quidditch World Cup under an invisibility cloak.

They may not be the important characters but I really wanted to the Sphinx (because it gave Harry a riddle before he could enter the next section that led to the Cup),the Blast Ended Skrewts and the Spider that tried to attack Harry and Cedric in the third task.

It really goes to show how brilliantly J.K Rowling wrote this book.

all summer i was saying to myself, yay dobbys going to be in another film, and i was soo happy that they were adding another house elf to the shows, so there i was sitting the theatre the whole time, thinking, hmm, that was wierd, why was winky at the quidditch match, hmm o well maybe she will show up later, but no, and becuase the house elves werent there, neither was S.P.E.W., or teh kitchen! i really wanted to see the kitchen, and all the houseelves down there, and the weaslys werent there eiter, i think they definetly should have had percy there, that leads up to why his family doesnt talk to him in that later books, but, oh well.... ( i know this is slightly off topic, but i think they should have had harry give Fred/George weasly the money for the shop, cause in teh next movie non book readers will be like, hey, whered they get the money for the shop?(unless they add that in at the beginnng of the film))

Snape seems... nicer, should I say? Less evil? I wonder if this was purposely put in, like told by JKR to Rickman, as it is known Rickman knows the fate of his character. I wonder...? huh.gif Maybe this will give us a clue as to his "true" character...

they also cut winky, madam pomfrey, almost all the ghosts, and almost all the lessons

Yeah this was the movie for character cuts..

They cut Winky which meant they cut Dobby. sad.gif

They also cut for some strange reason Bagman i don't know why because he was in it alot of the time..

They also cut Percy because he was supposed to judge in the 2nd Tak. Oh and Bill and Charlie where cut.

There where loads cut in GOF.. It's a shame really.

The cuts in this movie were very overwhelming and some of them were just unorthodox. I didn't like the fact that they cut Ludo out, seeing as how was my favorite character, but i think he didn't really serve a part seeing as how he's only in one of the books and didn't really make a difference. Although, Bill and charlie, that was uncalled for. And percy... dennis... pig... the list goes on and on...
