I would most probably jump and down and do cartwheels (which would be amazing since i can't do cartwheels). I would have an all night celebration. The things that i would anticipate more than anything else would be: learning to fly and playing Quidditch, and doing the spells especially for Charms and Transfiguration.

I probly wouldnt believe it unless it gave exact adresses to get suplies. In that case i would jump up and down and bang my head against the wall and if it was still there i would do it again and again and again untiil my mum made me stop and then i would soke in the glory.

Then I'd walk out of the house (most likely without any of my stuff because I'd be so ecstatic...) and get myself a plane to London (without a credit card....)straightaway.

wow! imagine that! i would be sooooooo excited, i would jump up and down the house screaming with joy! i mean, that was my biggest dream ever when i started reading the hp series, but i'm 14 now, so i've lost all hope .

I'm old so bear with me - when I was 8 I wanted to go to Mildred Hubble's school in the worst witch. I'd definitely have been over the moon to get a Hogwarts letter when I was 11 even though it was a fair while before HP was created. Just to be able to have jinxed my brothers would have provided hors of fun.

If I got into hogwarts I'd faint. I would be completely flabbergasted. But I would go...I mean really who wouldn't? Even if I were eighty years old when I got the letter, I would go. Granted, I wouldn't have that many friends but whatev.

Hmmm.... What would I do before I got to Hogwarts???

Before I got there I think I would show off to my sister saying " I got in and you didnt. Sucka!" jumping on the sofa. Then insist on packing my entire wardrobe for weekends and my prom dress because there might be a ball (well you never know).

wow. i'd be struck shock and be super duper excited. i could get to learn magic and i could use it on people i extremely dislike. what better use of magic than that? but right now... i'm still waitig for my hodwarts letter to arrive. it's been about two years.. but i know it'll come!! i'm a late bloomer. okay okay.. so maybe it won't happen. but you gotta let a girl dream.

If magic existed (i think it does, but it hasn't manifested itself to me...), I would be over the moon. Scratch that. I'd be over the universe! And, if I got accepted into a school of magic, from any book (preferably Harry Potter, but beggars can't be choosers), I'd be over what ever is outside the universe.

I hate studying, which is probably why I don't do so well in school. However, If I got accepted into Hogwarts, I'd become Hermione. Seriously. And I would study as many subjects as I could get my hands on. Not so many that my brain couldn't take it all. And if i can't take a subject one year, I'll take it the next, or study it on my own... That's how much I love magic. And yes, I realize I sound like a nut, but I'm not. I promise.

I would go Crazy! I would Cry for happiness. When I turned 11 I looked in the postbox everyday and when I go to the Train station I always tap the wall to check If I can get through, no kidding. I still sort of believe that I could go there. I heard my arch enemy planning to put a letter in my box but I walked right up to her and said, That's an excellent idea, pity I know what your doing! and she just blushed and walked away.

That'd be awesome! I'd get my school stuff the day or week I got my letter and read Harry Potter in hopes of learning stuff. Lol, I'd rub it in my brother's face. "Haha, I got a letter!" I'd be estatic, jumping and crying for joy. I'd go the train station a day early because I'd be so excited. I'd also be super happy about meeting all those guys lol. Hogwarts' guys are so hott *drool*

If I got a letter from Hogwarts I would be most excited to be able to preform magic and meet other magicians

If I got a letter to Hogwarts....I think that I would freak out! Seriously...I think that I would go and get my books, wand and all that stuff and wait in my room for the day...sitting and not moving! I would die of happiness...and wonder if there would be any Weasleys there .

Wow I would be so excited that I would laugh and cry all at the same time and bug my mom till she took me to London to buy all the stuff then I would probably wait in platform nine and three quarters for the train to arrive. Also I would turn into a total Hermione cause I don't much care for school (by that I mean I hate it) but if I got to go to Hogwarts I would be top at every class hey I'd probably get all O's on my O.W.L's and my N.E.W.T's and if I didn't I'd go crazy till I found out what I did wrong...........

If i found out i was going to hogwarts, i would scream all around my house and then probably die of shock. Id just look forward to doing everything!! Id love it if i really did get the letter *sigh*

If i ever got the letter it would be the best moment of my life! I would cry of happiness and just wouldnt know what to do with myself! Hogwarts is amazing, i'd just want to go to the lessons and learn magic really, it beats normal subjects like maths for sure! And then there's the quidditch, that would deffinatly be the highlight!
Oh and I'd probably just run around Hogwarts for hours like a mad woman and try and find secret passages... and possibly any three headed dogs...

I would be very very very happy and then I would probably got to Diagon Alley. At Hogwarts I would befriend Fred, George, and Lee, be a Beater for the Slytherin Quidditch team, learn magic, and pretty much every other thing you can do at hogwarts. (including dating Cedric! )

I wouldnt be able to go. My parents are sooo uptight Christiany people they would freak but somehow I would find a way to get there though =] and I would probably die from sheer excitement

I'd cry/squeal. I would be the happiest girl in the world, to know that my my story was true. (I have an un-internetified fan fic in which I'm Harry's daughter) Then I'd panic. "What about college? What am I going to be? How can I ever keep this a secret?" Then I'd smile cos I could jinx a certain homewrecker I absolutely loathe. I 'd want to try out for everything and read everything I could. Quidditch.... Beater. Me. Yeah...

I'd propoably faint. My biggest dream would come true (or one of my biggest dreams). I do not know if I would be able to say goodbye to everything in the non-magical world though (thinking about friends and school etc).

probably have to talk my parents into letting me go, then I would have to promise that I would attend church on sundays, then I would go meet friends and enjoy being at a year-long camp

If I got a letter ...OMG ! I will like scream and yell and jump all over the place saying "HELLLY YEAHHHHH I AM GOING TO GO TO HOGWARTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and my mom will look confused at me and try to see if I am still normal ! 3 Words: "OH MY GOD!!!" yup thatd be my 1st thought, then, "NO WAY! THIS HAS TO BE A PRANK!!!" id probly be in shock for about 3days straight, then when it all sinks in i'd run around my house screaming for joy. My parents would absolutely have to take me shopping for my stuff or theyd probably die from listening to me Yuppers, thatd be the best thing that could happen to me

I would scream "ehmahgawd!!!" and Possibly run around the house screaming "I'm going to hogwarts!!!!!!I'm going to hogwarts!!!!!!I'm going to hogwarts!!!!!!" LOL And then I'd get to school and learn...and enjoy the freedom from my parents!!!! But I'd pay attention to school work too =P

I would love to enroll at Hogwarts. I think I'd be a good student (maybe I'd fail in studying magical creatures). My favorite subjects would be DADA, Transfiguration, and Potions.
I think the the Weasley twins would be my best friends and I'd belong to Gryfindor or Ravenclaw. I would do anything to disturb the Slytherin students and I would not dare to go to the Forest, where centaurs and other beings live.
I would get along with professor McGonagall, I would keep an eye on Snape, and Lupin would be my favorite DADA teacher.
I would join Dumbledore's army and would visit Hogsmeade as much as I could.

When I was 11, I actually really hoped I'd be receiving a letter from Hogwarts! Of course it never came... But, if I were to receive the letter I'd be so happy I probably wouldn't be able to control myself. I'd just be wicked excited and ready to go! The class I would look forward to the most would probably be either Defense Against the Dark Arts or Care of Magical Creatures. I'd definitely hope to be in either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor.. And, I'd probably be happy to go to classes for once. Going to Hogwarts would be the best thing EVER!

I would probably go into shock and then once out of it i would run round the house screaming. when i got there i would be reall eager to learn everything that i could even the slightly boring subjects e.g. history of magic and divination, i would also love to have a go at playing quidditch and just explore the castle i.e. the room of requirement (my sisters idea- cause shes cool ) and hagrids hut. although saying this i have in a way already been to Hogwarts (well Alnwick Castle where the quidditch practice scenes and some other scenes from PS are filmed!!

i would insane. i would be soo happy if that happened. i would want to learn all about everything that has to do with magic. i would be soo excited. that would be awesome.

id go find peeves and set him after filch and then id go steal a broom from the brrom shed take a quick flight and run back just in time to be sorted. id skive off history of magic but and explode cauldons in potions on purpose but otherwise id try to be good and learn magic.

I would absolutely freak out if i got the letter!

• learn magic

• learn to ride a firebolt
• punch filch
• smash u the bathroom to the chamber of secrets
• get into ravenclaw
• fit a lightbulb...... dunno why. maybe because its all candles

first, id run around screaming for hours, so totally excited. then id put a calendar up, and count down the days til september the 1st. i think id be most excited for riding a broom, and just learning any sort of spell.

i cant even begin to explain how exstatic i would be!!!!!! i cant even imagine how awsome it would be just knowing that you were about to learn magic!! honestly i find that if that were to ever happen to me i know i would be a lot like hermione. i would be so overwhelmed and excited to get to learn magic and prove myself being a (muggle born) and all. that i would want to learn as much as possible and would often have a book or two for a "bit of light reading"

as for the first thing i would want to do there...

it would probably be to meet dd(if he was alive when i went)

if not then i would want to explore the castle

then i would want to go check out the grounds(hagrids and the giant squid and the forbiden forrest)

altough i am 21 now and would have already finished my schooling but i would start as a 21 year old first year!!!!!

I think that if I were to recieve a letter from Hogwarts, I would be just as skeptical as Harry was, wondering if it was a joke and checking to make sure it was really me that they were looking for. Although that is impossible since I am 17 and would be entering my 7th year at Hogwarts, I did used to play with the neighborhood kids around the time I was 10 and 11, always expecting that my letter would come by post owl, and that they had just forgotten to send it off on time

I would be totally overwhelmed if i found out that i was going to hogwarts!!!! I would probably wake up and think it was a dream the next day like harry did... but once if i found out it was real i would be so excited i'd probably memorize all my schoolbooks just like hermione and i would be soo excited to meet DD hagrid and peeves!
