I know you cant believe this but its true! ron started relations with lavender in his sixth year. They were not only seeing each other but also snogging around! can you believe this! I never thought about this before! But as we all know they ended up in the same year! I am much of approval with ron and hermione ship and i know very well that ron wont go back to lavender and even if he does this he will do it just to make hermione jealous! But one never knows anything could happen! what do you think guys who is more better for ron hermione or lavender ? will ron and lavender ship will continue? or should ron go back to lavender? alrite then lets discuss!

I think that Ron is better with Hermione - I think she knows him more and much better than Lavender does. I think Ron was more interested in snogging with Lavender than and accual interest in her

I agree with the fact this relationship was absolutly unexpected for me... but it is so obvious Ron went out with her only to make Hermione be jelous, because before he doesn´t konw about kissing Krum stuff, He doesn´t show any interest in Lavender.

And remember Ginny make jokes about Ron unexperience with girls and it is evident for Ron this affected to going out with Lavender and snogged her in good part of this book.

But remember additionaly, when he is back of being cursed, and get well, he comes to hermione friendly again, and wish Lavender leave him alone but he don´t know how to do that. I suppose he felts so guilty because he have used Lavender for his own purposes: make any experience snogging girls, and make Hermione feel jelous (by the way, he achieves both of them)

We need to wait what will happen in book 7, but I supposse Ron & Hermione finally are going to be together. For me it is so similar to that relationship between Rachel and Ron in Friends.....

I think Ron and Lavender are PERFECTLY SUITED. If only they could have stayed together.

They are a perfect match in intellect and personality.

I think Ron and Lavender were one of the worst matched couples...I mean they didnt really even know each other...and all they did was snog all day...the only way they knew who each other was was because they just happened to be in the same house and they were in the same year..I never heard of Ron takling to her even after they started erm..dating...if you ask me it was just a way for Ron to get back at Hermione and Ginny for "snogging" before he did..now Hermione and Ron...I think thats a much better suit..but there are a million threads on the ship so I wont get off topic here!!

I don't really think that he went out with her just to make hermione jealous, he had to like her a little bit to be snogging her. And also it was to prove to ginny that he is experienced.

I perfer Ron and Lavender together because I happen to be a Harry/Hermione shipper and I have been since day 1.

I prefer Ron and Hermione.....it just isn't right with Lavender and Ron.

I hated ron and lavender. He didn't even like her and i don't really think lavender liked him either. maybe she's using ron to get back at someone just like ron was using her to get back at Herminone and Ginny.

the ron lavender relationship was soooooooo funny its great, because the 6th book is dark the death of dumbleydore, but the relationships with ron and lavender is fab, it totally makes me laugh,
ron is so shallow
