I don't hate Cho because she went out with Harry because Harry and her weren't meant to be. He's got better luck with me . Not only is rather insulting to her, but there are quite a few Scots on here who are liable to take umbridge at that remark too I'm sure you didn't mean it that way, so just be careful next time, eh?

I don't hate Cho. I just think she is extremely childlish, example, throwing tantrums when Harry wanted to meet Hermione in The Three Broomsticks and going, oh well if it is darling Hermione, pathetic. I also think she is very self centred. She knew that Harry didn't want to talk about Cedric because he saw him last and it upset him, but yet she got into another tantrum and wanted to talk about it because SHE 'needed too'. I do actually love Katie Leung. She is amazing. I don not hate Cho. I just think she is pathetic. But other than that I love her. Yes I know, I am very strange.

I don't hate cho I just think that she is far too emotional and conciders herself to be the centre of attention.And I agree that throwing tantrums is a slefish way at getting your own way and making other people feel bad in the process...
I also think she is a bit shallow and wants things and situations to go her way so she is almost benefitting from it, if you guys know what I mean.She also seems a bit whiny and it appears that she can be possessive and not in a good way, if there is one..

I think Katie played Cho's character really well and I am glad she is the total opposite to her character

I'm going to have to jump on the wagon and say that I don't hate Cho either, but I'm the type of guy that doesn't really HATE anybody. Cho is one of those people that when I come to a passage in the book that involves her, I roll my eyes before I even finish reading because I know what we're all in for. So I would say that she is one of those people that I strongly dislike. I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to her or anything, but if she were a real girl in my school I'd avoid her like the plague because she's everything luckyfish said she is.

As far as the actress goes, she didn't have much of a role in GoF so I'm not going to say whether or not she can do the character justice in OotP. I will, however, say that Katie Leung seems like a nice enough girl; for her to become the emotional, babbling, testy Cho from OotP could be a challenge for some one with a level head.

well it's not as much of hate just more as an extreme dislike. She was way too emotional about cedric dying she really needed to just suck it up because cedric and harry were friends to and harry had to witness him die not cho.cho shouldn't have gotten really jealous over hermione she didn't get that jealous when rita skeeter was writing all of those nasty rumors about harry hermione and krum because i feel she went out with cedric to make harry jealous. Then theres the fact of what she did to harry in OotP she was not a good girlfriend and i feel that harry was to good for her and he didn't deserve what cho put houghim through.

I can't make up my mind about whether or not I like Cho... I do agree with the people talking about how annoying it is when she flips out all the time, though. It's like she has no control over her emotions or something. I never thought her and Harry were good together.. it was a fun twist for awhile, seeing if they would work out.. but I think Harry & Ginny are better.

Cho - diss away if you have to. I think she went through a very difficult patch, so I have sympathy for her, but I'm afraid, like Ben said, that I'd probably try to avoid her if I knew her. I'm not good with that sort of thing - I always feel like I say the wrong things, so in a way she'd frighten me. I could offer advice, sure, but that's not what one wants to hear, is it? I'm not a very good shoulder, even if I did care a lot.

And maybe that's how Harry felt about her as well - she frightened him! He felt like an idiot in her company, so I can't say I like her for that.

I do not hate Cho (the character), I think she is going through a big hormonal time (doesn't really make sense) and she doesn't know what to do.

She is a bit mean to Harry making him guess most of her emotions but yeah, I do not hate her.

The main reason I dislike Cho is that she is incredibly selfish. Okay, I understand that she is distraught about Cedric's death, but good lord woman, go see a counseloor or something. After eight or nine months you should be over the man. He was not your husband and it was not your fault he died.

She toys with Harry's emotions simply because she can't control her emotions. She believes that she is entitled to be sad over Cedric's death, but that Harry is supposed to be okay with the fact that she loves a dead man more than him. Harry was 15. You cannot expect him to understand, let alone tolerate Cho's emotions and actions.

I actually didn't mind Cho at the beginning. I was sort of thinking - Aww, Harry's got a crush.

But then she grew up and suddenly got all DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA with the crying and diva fits on Harry, almost to the point where you want to hit her in the face with a shovel.
She's the sort of girl who will want something, then change her mind and want something else, then go back to the first thing, THEN cry because her boy doesn't know what she wants.

harry was somehow blinded by her appearance (at first i was actually thrilled...harry´s having a little romance...). but the way she acts is driving me crazy!
she is really a drama queen and i´ll never understand why someone behaves like that.

To me she is one of those girls that NEED to have a boy always or they cant survive. Also I think she uses people. She missed Cedric so much I think the only thing she wanted with Harry was to talk about Cedric.

She went with Cedric to the ball instead of Harry and then she says that she’s sorry when Harry asked her? Why did she go with Cedric then? And when OOTP started she just flirted with Harry right away. I mean, she had just lost Cedric a few months before. How could she then start to like Harry straight away? I don’t get her. I have to say that she is very annoying, and such an all about me person. She is very self centered, and I totally didn't see what Harry could have possibly seen in her to start with. I liked her in GOF movie, but in OOTP movie, she was a little annoying, but she was definatley not portrayed like she is in the book. Self centered, and seemed to be spoiled. I can see how that romance fizzled out quickly for Harry. She was a pretty poor first love interest for Harry, and I just didn't see what the attraction was in the first place.

I hate Cho because I think that she was playing with Harry all along. I agree with you guys when you say that she's the kind of girl who likes to be the center of attention. Since Cedric was soo handsome, and popular, and Harry was extremelly popular as well, she couldn't make up her mind on which guy to choose. When Cedric died, she moved on to the next one, and I think she had to have this attitude of weeping over Cedric while going out with Harry to look like she was a good girl and convincing him that she had good feelings, instead of the fact that she was looking for attention.

I hate her because that's not something nice to do, you don't play with people's hearts! She was mean, and seriously, I wish Ginny would have got her hands on her! Good for Ginny not letting her show Harry their common room! I bet you could see Cho's interest in her eyes!
