Oh boy... dream date with a HP character, hmm....

Well, I'll obviously go with Anthony Goldstein, 'cause he strikes me as the quiet, studious type... in the, what, three scenes in which he's mentioned?! Can't help but admire those Ravenclaws... and I'm betting that I stand a better chance with him than with some of those Gryffindor guys... the girls seem as though they're flocking towards Harry and Ron these days!

I think we'd go to a Quidditch match, probably with a few friends -- how about a double date with Hermione and Terry Boot, because I'm a huge Hermione/Terry shipper, as well. We're all really into schoolwork and studying, so we'd spend practically the whole time talking about the latest Transfiguration lesson and maybe bash out Divination for a while, since none of us can stand the subject. Good stuff. We'd buy butterbeer (no firewhiskey for the kids... heh heh) midway through the match and eat lunch in the stands. On the way back to Hogwarts, we'd take a detour through Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley (to drop by Scrivenshaft's or Flourish and Blotts, of course!). Kiss?!?! Er... nope!

Okay, guys... let's hear about more of your... er... non-canon dates!

If we're talking actual characters from the books mines would have to be Ron. I really think he's amazing. I wouldn't really mind who came with us or where we went as long as we were together. Id love to go with him alone somewhere but if he prefered having friends with himI don't think it would bother me. The first kiss thing...I think yes if he wanted to but of course theguy has to make the first move...I'm too shy.

Well then lets see...

I would definately have to pick Draco Malfoy. I always did fall for the bad boys And you do have to say something for the fact that he does seem to be the youngest Death Eater ever.

Out date would probably also take place at a Quidditch Match. It would be very nice because we would be sitting in the top box. We would spend a couple of minutes abusing Potty to break the ice. After the Match we would take a nice carriage ride around Hogsmede in the falling snow huddled together to keep warm

After the carriage ride we would head to the Maddam Puddifoots to get a cup of coffee and gaze into eachother's eyes. And when it was time to go home we would head back up to Hogwarts and back to our common room and right before i went up to my dormitory i would tell him i had a wonderful time and give him a kiss on the cheek. Cause you gotta keep the boys wanting more!

Oooooh how fun this could be!!! One can only dream Ok...well the dream date is with Sirius Black. Why? Because he's a spunk. We'd go some place fun where we could goof off and cause mischief. Like a theme park or something where you can harass the people who dress up as bunnies and eat food that's bad for you. We'd also end up playing pranks on other people, like make the stupid zombie things in the haunted house that don't move really move and scare the people who work there. Those things annoy me actually so that would really be a lot of fun!

We'd talk about everything and anything- have one of those conversations where three hours later you can't work out how you went from talking about favourite foods into why all parents should be locked in an insane asylum...well... maybe just his....

We'd eat things that weren't good for us only so we can enjoy each other's company when you do the 'well that was a stupid thing to do, shouldn't have eaten THAT' thing later.

It would probably just be the two of us, but the great thing with carnivals and theme parks is that you can go in a group and split up if you want to. However to keep it as humourous as possible, Fred and George and dates can come along and we'll all cause trouble.

And yes.... the kiss is MOST DEFINATLY there!!!

On my date with Hermione Granger, we would meet at the portrait of the fat Lady portrait and meet up with harry and Ginny and Ron and Lavender. We would continue to Hogsmead where we would visit the Three broomsticks and have a nice cup of Butterbeer. We would visit every shop in Hogsmead, cause some mischief an discuss school work. Then we would go back to Hogwarts for a Snogfest.

This is great! Good to know im not the only one who has a crush on a character! Pixymajik i totally agree with the Weasley twins being fun to go on a double date with! Don't know how much Draco would approve though... Thanks for posting and keeping it clean everyone!

I would have to go with Severus Snape because Alan Rickman is just out of this world and his voice and cold sneers would keep the night interesting. I could imagine him being rude to the waiter and commenting on how miserable he is the entire time, but I would make him come around by debating, "Who was the greatest tyrant in history?" I can't picture eating anything with him, but alcohol would be a necessary must. And after heatedly disagreeing with him for argument's sake I'll plant a kiss on the lips when he finally hits anger's ceiling, that should catch him off guard.

Ooh, now this would vary from month to month, depending on what mood I'm in... A few months back, it would have been Sirius, no question. A few weeks later, Lupin. Then I went though a bad-boy phase where I only had eyes for Snape and Lucius.

Now, mmm.....if it could be anyone at all and it *has* to be someone from HP....

I think it would still probably be Snape. I just think he's so complex and mysterious and I'd love to get inside his head for a while. While Pixymajik's date with Sirius sounds brilliant, I'm more for the quiet sort of date really. Cinema first, I think...something that's liable to provoke some sort of strong feeling in him (either love or hate..)...Saving Private Ryan or Schindler's List...something with a bit of emotion in it, see if he cried... Then it would have to be dinner somewhere really classy....good food, good wine, good conversation....mmm....yeah.....*drools*

And then I've always had this thing for log cabins, real wood fires and big fluffy rugs and curling up on a sofa with a soft blanket to finish off the last of the wine before....the inevitable...

Oh, absolute heaven.......*sigh*

Of course, he would probably get up and walk out of the movie at the first sign of "sentamentalist drivel", so I guess I'd probably end up walking home alone...

Still, there's always Lupin, eh?

...Just kidding. While I do think Grawp is adorable, I think the height and size difference is just too big to overcome.

So hm...I think my dream date would be Dean Thomas. I was originally thinking Ron, but I like the Ron-Hermione pairing too much. No, we haven't seen too much of Dean throughout the books, but I think he seems like a good-natured guy. First, we'd go to a Quidditch match, since we're both sports fans. Then, we'd go to Hogsmeade and pop into the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer. After that, we'd Apparate to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes to test out and buy all the joke items. As for a kiss? Nah...I think it'd be more of a friendly "date" than a romantic one.

If I was a good deal younger I would definately go out with Harry on a date. (If it was Daniel I'd have to ask him to transfigure himself so he was atleast 5'10 first ) then...

I would love to go to Falls Creek Ski Resort with him, rent out a pretty log cabin nestled in the snow that has a cosy log fire and a mini bar (ofcourse ) Order a hamper of antipasto and desert, put Dido in the cd player and fill the spa with every little pot of bubbles and perfume they had *sigh* You can use your imagination for how that ends

Then the next morning we would go skiing, and he could enchant my ski's so we can go down the doubleblack diamond runs with out killing ourselves. YAY! We'd also tackle the moguls without stacking it and skiing shrapnel flying everywhere for once. Then we'd retire to the best restaurant and dine in outrageous style and lastly, we'd head back to the log cabin again, then you can go back to the beginning of the post and press repeat ... repeat ... repeat

if i could date anyone from the books it would hav to be harry
i'd go for harry because he's my type of guy adventurous, funny, sporty, not too smart and wierd!!!
most likely go to hogsmeade and just walk around enjoying each others company, look in the shops, cause some mischeif, go have a butterbeer, hang out with ron and hermione and maybe kiss at the end

ok, so this is my first post, but i saw this and thought it looked really cool. So lets see, my date would be Hermione im sure, just an interesting thought though Hermione and Harry on a date, think about it.

Anyways, my date would be intresting, lets see, first we would meet at Hogsmeade and we would have somone apparate us over to a private airfeild (muggle). I would have my own plane there and i would fly her over a city during the night which is a beutiful site in my opinion. It would be an awsome experience i would do flips and stuff to tease her and then we would just enjoy the sites relaxing . Yeah right now i cant fly a plane (too young duh) but im fantasizing.

Then we would land and eat at a fancy resturant. We would meet up with Harry, Ginny and (here is a new thought that doesnt relate to the HP series to my knowledge, but it is everyones sixth year) Ron and Cho Chang . We would all enjoy a meal telling stories about our times at Hogwarts, laughing, ect. Then we would all head our seperate ways with me and Hermione heading the Griffindor dormitory. She would tell me she had a great time and i would say the same and we snug eachother breifly bidding eachother goodnight.

AWw...these dates are so cute! I wish that they could be real. After starting this topic i actually had a dream i was on a date with Draco. Pretty weird... but o well! o enjoyed it!

Okay since I am a total bad boy lover my dream date would be with Draco Malfoy. I think that we would spend most of the day making fun og Potty, Weasel, and Granger. Then I think that we would probably go to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer before going off to a quidditch match. I think i would probably kiss him on the first date.

I would like to be the girl who changed Severus Snapes' life. Whether he met me in Slytherin or that we sat together in Potions doesn't matter as much as that I helped him forget about that mean James Potter.
He was nice and helped me with the addition of peppermint to my euphoria potion and when we left class, we sat together at dinner and then studied in the common room.
At first all he could talk about was trying to get revenge on the Gryffindors but after a little time he began to talk about his mother and how much he missed her. I told him about my family and how I missed my Mum and Dad (my Dad died first then my Mum starved herself and nothing we could do could save her).
Severus and I talked for hours and then he walked me to the door to the girl's dormitory.
Everybody else had left the common room by that time and he let me brush the hair away from his face to look into his eyes and tell him goodnight.
I almost think he smiled. Maybe tomorrow he'll hold my hand...

if it had to a character from the books, it'd be Ronald weasley! no doubt, though i dunno where the place would be ...but yeah, from the movies, it'd defintely be Tom Felton...and i'm not sure where we'd go again

4) Lupin, he might not be the most looking but he seems very kind-hearted. No idea where we'd be going but definitely not for a stroll in the moonlight.

Well, since I fall for the bad guys, I would have to go with Draco Malfoy! Maybe I could talk some sense into him!
Well, we would be alone on the quiditch feild, and he would be teaching me how to fly because I would most likely be bad at it. After lots of fun, we would head to Hogsmead. There we would go to Honeydukes, where he would buy me the sweetest things. Then we would go The Three Broomsticks and order butterbeer of course. I would then lean over and give him a kiss.
Later he would walk me to the ravenclaw enterence and we would kiss again. Saying goodnight, he would ask me out on another date the next night!

Isn't that romantic?

I would go out with Sirius Black (Our date is back when he's at school). We would bump into each other outside of the Room of Requirement. We'd go to the Room of Requirement, only he didn't know about it and I did, so it's just our little place afterwards. The room is a frozen lake(somehow it's outside) in the middle of a forest. Everything's covered in snow, and all of the tree leaves are still there and they're all frosty. There's a full moon in a clear sky(it's not actually a real full moon so Sirius doesn't need to stay with Lupin) so all of the frost glitters.
We would muck around sliding around on the lake and have snowball fights and build snowmen. When I got too cold he would keep me warm and stuff...
Then we would sit down and talk about all kinds of stuff, like what pranks we would do to the teachers and how bad it is at home and lessons. Just about anything.
Halfway through we'd sneak off to the kitchens and get our favourite foods to eat. We'd ask for the same thing, lasagne. Then we would go back and sit right in the middle of the lake, which, magically, isn't cold, but still frozen, we'd eat there.
When we'd left, we'd go back to the dormitory, and site in the armacahiars and talk a bit more. It's past midnight, so no one else is there. Then, when we'd both got up and were about to go to our seperate dormitory's, he would give me a surprise kiss. I'd kiss him back of course.

I would go on a date with Sirius Black when he was at school.
We would go around Hogsmade and then around Hogwarts at night, maybe a long walk around the lake and then we would talk under a tree watching the stars, we would talk about Quidditch, and then he would bring me in his broom. Then he would kiss me. Then because it was getting late we would go back in the common room, hand by hand and because I'm cold he would give me his jacket. Then he would give me the good night and we would go in our dormitorys and I will dream him for sure.

Okay, it would be around Christmastime, I'd go to Hogsmeade with harry in the snow. We'd look around at all of the shops, and get a butterbeer at the three broomsticks at dusk. Then, we'd go back to Hogwarts, and Harry would fly me on his broom, over all of Hogwarts, watching the lights flicker beneath us, and the snow fall for a long time. Then, we'd fly back down, and hand in hand walk back to the Gryffindor Common Room, and curl up in the chairs in front of the fire with friends, laughing and drinking spiced pumkin juice. Then, after everyone else had gone to bed, we'd stay up all night talking. You know, I might be the only one who didn't have a kiss in my dream date, but I think laughing and enjoying each other's company is more fun...

Well, I would have to say Lord Voldemort. He would come to my house, escorted by his gang of 20 death eaters. We would kill a muggle, and steal his sweet 1997 Pontiac Grand Am.

I imagine he'd want to go mailbox bashing, so I'd drive while he blasted mailboxes from inside the car. Afterwords, we would go to a nice restaurant like McDonalds, and he would use the imperius curse to make the employees grill us up some nice burgers. After that, he'd go avada-kedavra crazy, blowing everybody up so we wouldn't have to pay.

well, by now the police would be chasing us, because they like to ruin our fun. Vold would blast them all, and leave the bodies for other people to clean up.

We'd hijack another car, and drive to King's Cross Station. We'd sneak in to Platform 9 3/4, and start blowing things up and kicking children. Some stupid people would try to fight us, but they can't step to our skills. They'd get owned, and run away like losers.

Afterwords, we'd go back to his house, and play Harry Potter© Clue, and build stuff with legos.

Yes, I would so go out with Sirius. And not at the age he's at, because that would be a bit strange, but when he was *slightly* younger. *cough*thirteenorfourteenmaybe*cough*

Hmmm, now where would we go? Probably, like Pixy said, somewhere fun. I was never into the sappy walk on the beach thing, bouquet of roses, etc. So, probably we'd do something really spontaneous, or crazy that I wouldn't imagine myself ever doing in this lifetime. Because that's just the type of thing you do with Sirius, ya know? So like....stealing Peters stuffed teddy, and holding it for ransom for like ten pounds of candy. XD Or going for ice cream, and end up smashing it in eachothers faces. (And no, NOT licking it off. ) Or go jump into the lake at midnight while it's pouring, and we're fully dressed, so we're freezing our butts off, and laughing really hard. Or bothering everyone by singing songs at the top of our lungs with the wrong lyrics. Ya know, something crazy.

We'd mostly joke around, and make eachother laugh really hard. I imagine Sirius to be really funny, so he'd probably crack me up. I love it when someone has a good sense of humor.

And we'd probably eat something you can walk around with, like ice cream. Or fast food, because I can't imagine sitting through a gourmet dinner with Sirius.

As for a kiss? Why not?

now that I think of it, I'd go with Ron also if I had a chance. (Who would, of course, just so happen to look exactly like Rupert Grint. Age 12, that is. I know, I'm so picky. )

Ron's really not the romantic type, but he'd probably get me flowers, or something corny like that, but they would be all wilted from the rain. (Yeah, I know, it's mean to him, but that's honestly how I want it.) But I would like them anyway, and I guess we would sorta walk around Hogwarts. (And I want it to be fall. NO idea why.) But we'd probably joke around and talk.

By the end of the date I imagine after waiting ages for him to kiss me, I'd have to go right ahead and do it myself, seeing as he couldn't get up the nerve to do it.

Let's see, first, we would go to a Quidditch match, and then we would spend the afternoon and evening in Hogsmeade: after the match a drink at he 3 broomsticks, then we'd walk through the snowy streets and have a look inside Zonko's and other shops. To finish it off we'd go to Madam Puddifoot's and have a hot chocolate over a romantic kiss! (sigh) If only!

I would probably go on a date with Ginny. One because she is funny, two because she is attractive and three because she is cool. I would probably go to the black lake with her.

Hi! Although I think Harry is gorgeous, I have really fallen in love with Ron's personality! Most of the time he is very funny and very kind. I understand completely why Hermione likes him.

I think I would probably like to go to Diagon Alley with him. We could go and visit Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and basically stroll around. I think that would be quite interesting and Ron seems to only go there once a year so it wouldn't be boring. I think we would probably just talk about life in general, definitely school classes and the you-know-who situation. I would like the converstation to be light hearted though. We could definitely talk about Quidditch! Maybe about Hagrid and his peculiar creatures and classes lol .
I would like to eat ice cream and pumpkin pasties . It would be lovely if we could go to the Burrow afterwards, Mrs. Weasley also seems to be an excellent cook .
As for the kiss, well, I really don't know! It depends on how the date went, but really, unless I felt that I really knew him well, I would not kiss him.

I would definetly date Harry. I think he is very cute and he has an amazing personality. We would go to Diagon Alley because there are so many thing to do. We could also stroll around Hogsmeade. We would probably just talk about school, homework, quiddich and teachers. I think double dating with Ron and Hermione would be extremly fun. I dont know if I would grant him a kiss, if the date goes really well, we understand each other and the moment is perfect.

Ok this may sound strange but I’d adore a date with Alastor ‘Mad-Eye’ Moody. We’d go to the Wizard Witch Museum where he’d tell the ‘real’ story about each artifact and curse out the curators about any misinformation on the exhibits. We would talk about how to improve security with our own stories on how crazy foolish some can be. Eat? He’s so hyper mistrustful of strangers a restaurant would be out of the question. I’d pack an elegant lunch picnic basket complete with wine. The double date thing would be a good ploy for me and Tonks. Tonks can then snag Lupin to come along. Safety in numbers you know! The kiss thing just might happen if that wistful mood in the sunset with the breeze blowing at your hair just right hits.

My dream date would be with Harry! I wouldn't want to double date because I would want to get to know Harry without any interuptions. I would like to go on a picnic around the lake and then go to Hogsmeade. Then when the sun is about to set and our date would almost be over I would give him a passionate kiss. Ideally on a long late-night ride on his flying motor bike, the wind in our hair and the sheer freedom on going anywhere that takes our fancy
what you would do?
After flying around for a bit (it may take a while to find the ideal spot), hopefully we would come accross a romantic place in a wood or near a lake where we could just walk round hand-in-hand, talking (in contrast to the adventurous, heart-stopping ride we had taken)
What you would talk about?
I could imagine taking about everything and nothing all at once, silly little things which concieled greater meaning
What you would eat?
the moon, the stars, the atmosphere - a feast for the eyes (stop making retching noises you in the back )

On our own, although I would be partial to taking part in some marauder pranks
