I think the yule ball will be great to watch. i would like to see the actors & actresses dance. It would be nice to see everyone dressed up in their gowns & dress robes. A very pretty scene to look forward to.

i think it will be exiting to watch, i just hope they don't make it like two minutes long... but in the book not much happens at the yule ball anyways... other than the whole outside seen

I can't wait to see the Yule Ball scene. The cutist couple will have to be Harry and Pavati. I just hope Dan didn't treed on her feet too much. I also really want to see Dan dance, pitty Rupert isn't for all his fans.

I really don't know about cutest couple, but I think it will be really funny to watch Ron being jealous over Hermione and Krum.

I'm particularly looking forward to the Yule Ball scene as well- I think it's going to be awesome! I also want to see how they filmed Ron and Hermione's row! It should be very interesting!

Oh, yeah! Ginny and Neville are definitely going to look cute together- I thought it was sweet that he asked her to the Yule Ball. Aargh- November 18th just can't come fast enough!

I thought the Yull Ball was fantastic. Hermonie(Emma) looked terrific, Harry(Dan) looked great in a tux. Ron(Rupert) looked Hilarous. The crew decorated the scene fantastically. It lookes very magical and I liked the ice theme it was very cool. The twins had cool oufits and Victor looked warm!!! I loved the Yule Ball I thought it was one of the best scenes of the movie, it was I think a very well done scene, and so was the dancing. I just loved the Yull Ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Yule Ball scene was defintitely one of my favorites in the movie. I think it came out a lot better than I originally thought it would. I really like how they blended from the waltz to the Wyrd Sisters and punk rock. It made it seem more realistic ... which is saying a lot considering it's Hogwarts I'm talking about!

The Yule Ball was beautiful. i love the decorations. lmao i feel sorry for Padma she didnt get to dance at all. lmao. poor girl. anyway hermione looked stunning although her dress is suppose to be blue! and harry not that bad. Ron i felt so sorry for him. lmao try getting a date wen ur dressed like that! lmao! oh poor guy. also cedric looked good as well. and cho! love the dress. i would love one. especially cuz im asian.

The yule ball was a very well done scene, it was in my top 5 best scenes.
What i really liked about the Yule Ball was taht they collabrated everyones culture with their outfits, Cho looks beautiful in her asian dress and the patil twins also look very traditional in their dresses.
i think that it ws a good idea for the director and producers to put them into their cultural dresses casue it just gave it that personal touch.

The Yule Ball was fantabulous and amazing and is one of my favourite scenes.Hermione was so beautiful and harry was so handsome The Yule Ball also quite quirky as girls and boys were finally at the stage of liking eachother.
Need I mention there outfits?Rons was a classic! The Patil twins were also quite pretty and it made me want to join!Weird hey!HA ha ha
I also think that hermione and krum were a cute couple and they suite eachother. The Yule Ball totally ROCKED!

I really like the scene. There were some really funny parts: Ficlh dancing with Mrs. Norris, Ron saying "no" when asked if he was going to ask padma to dance, ron's dress robes, etc. It gave a break from the gloomier mood that the movie seemed to have. (which, don't get me wrong, I really thought was good).

Gosh, I loved the Yule Ball scene. Hermione looked like a princess in that lilac-colored gown and Harry looked extremely fine in that tux. The Weird Sisters really *singing* SHOOK ME AWLLLL NIIIIGHT LONG!! While they were playing the music, me and a couple of friends were jammin' and shakin' on our chairs and we had such a kick-butt time. Especially, Viktor Krum looked... mmmmmmmmmmm...mmm!! He could've taken me out to the Yule Ball, too.

The music of The Weird Sisters almost sounded like new wave music (think Blondie, the Go-Go's, and The Knack). Luckily, I might get the soundtrack so I can dance to their music 24/7.

the yule ball's indeed one of my favorite scenes in the goblet of fire movie! as what i've expected before, all the casts are awesome! they're simply colorful! and what i like most is the performance of the band, the wyrd sisters, actually they suppose ot be the wyrd brothers! hehehe just joking! i love that scene becasue they definitely rock! i also love the way rupert reacted with hermione and krum! but what i hated is the last part. coz' it is the scen thatv seems that they made hermione overacting! there's really no need for her to even remove her shoes and sob at the middle of the crowd. it seems that she just wanted a lot of affection. but all in all, the yule ball scene's one of the best!

I really liked that we saw this unexpected flashy side of Nevill Longbottom. He is the only boy of his year who loves to dance, and is good at it, and he has a great time. He is soaring, he is on top of the world. Totally oblivious of how miserable a time Harry and Ron have had, Neville walzes into the room and dances into bed. Wow.

This was one of my favorite parts of the book and I was a bit apprehensive about how it would be treated in the film.

But...wow! Well done!

The set was beautifully decorated. It really seemed like something they would do to spif Hogwarts up for a special ball at Christmas in the Wonderful World of HP.

Ron's robes did not disappoint. They were hideous! Great stuff! Hermione looked really beautiful...I was disappointed she wasn't in blue, maybe she will be for Bill & Fleur's wedding?? Especially if the books have her in pink for the wedding, right?

The music was far better than I had expected. I really liked it and yeah, I liked the mosh pit bit.

Ron's face when he saw Hermione walk in with Krum...I felt so bad for him, well, for both of them later on. Great job on the fight between them.

Hermione crying on the stairs while taking her shoes off was a better ending to the fight than the way it was in the book. Yes, she was obviously excited that Viktor thought she was so special, but it all comes back to Ron, doesn't it?

Lastly, I also thought what they did with Neville in the film was better than in the book. I loved how he was the only one to stand up (other than Ron who was forced to by McGonagall) at the dance practice and how he practiced in their dorm. It was so sweet and seemed so like Neville to me.

I mean everything goes wrong for Neville, he'd be so worried about not getting it right. He and Ginny were very sweet together, especially since us book readers know she wanted to be with Harry...who looked great by the way.

Great, great job on this scene! Can't wait for the DVD!

Eep dont kill me but I didn't like it all that much.
I thought it looked a bit corny and a little too white and winterish i mean I realize it was a yule[ ball but i personally would have preferred a warmer color to decorate with
and the "mosh pit" was really..acted i mean it didnt look natural, no one at my school dances like that......if we mosh, we mosh, we push shove punch pull hair out and other very violent things.
anyways all the actors looked fantastic i loved Rons dress thing it was cute!
i think the book was better but yeah the set did look good, just not what i imagined, that is probably why i didnt like it because i had it all pictured then they did something different lol

The Yule Ball set was sooooo pretty. It seemed Harry and Ron didn't fit in to the excitment. They didn't seem that gloomy in the book....

the yule ball was good, but...it took up too much time. they made it seem as though the yule ball was the highlight of the movie, that it was the main attraction, but it wasnt. it was a fun little thing and the movie would have been fine if they had taken it out. i'm not saying i didnt like the scene, i loved it as a matter of fact. i'm just saying it took up a lot of time.

I loved the Yule Ball. It looked so beautiful. Harry looked great in his dress robes. Seeing Hermione in her dress freaked me out. Who knew the brain could be the beauty? However' Ron was so mean to her all throughout the Ball. He was SO jealous!

The Ball was FANTASTIC!it was exactly as in the book!Emma looked great, dan was so funny and sweet!Viktor looked freakin' hott!!The Great Hall looked like a huge ice castle. The music was amazing and it was just.............GREAT!!!! I have been obbsessed for 5 years and i waited that long to see my favorite book in movie (this one). that was my fave scene in GOF book and now movie!!!

I loved the yule ball totaly.
I loved the design of the graet hall (very beautiful).
And Emma was so pretty.
Katy was was too very hot.
And i love Hagrid and Maximes dance(sweet).

The Yule Ball was prefect, I think it shouldn't of been cut short, nor any longer, it's great. The stuff buliding up to it, the dance lesson, the twins teasing Ron "hey..." . And then Neville getting up to dance with them, and then him dancing by himself, so sweet and innocent. And the one of the funniest things in any of the movies is Ron and Harry's hoepful sort of look that they give to the group of Ravenclaw grils and them giving death glares, saying quiet plainly don't even try. Ron and Hermione's spat about the fact that he didn't ask her first. And Dan was never so...ardorable as he is when he's asking to Cho out. He reminds me Ewan McGregor in Big Fish, just sweet and wide-eyed. And them him realizing that Parvati and Padma are free, it reminds me of Xander in Buffy the Vampire Slayer saying "it was either Anya, or the sockpopet of love."
The Ball it's self, poor Ron in his horriable robes, and Harry looking quite dashing trying not to laugh. Everyone's costumes were really beautiful and very enthic looking. The Great Hall was really awsome looking, all ice and snow. Hermione, there are no words, and of course the Yule Ball is all about Hermione, so it fits to have that focus on her, and her and Krum looked well macthed. Till of course Ron came to his feelings an "spoiled everything," that's a great line, very gald it was in there. And I don't think she was over dramatic at all, but it would be if it was anyone but Ron saying those words to her.

I thought that Emma looked great. Dan looked very hot, but I felt bad that Rupert had to wear those horrible robes. Katie and clemence's dresses looked great.

The Weird Sisters were awsome! I felt likd if bad that Dan and Rupert couldn't have fun during that scene. The one thing I didn't like about that scene was that Ron was so mean! Of course he was jealous, but he was really rude to Hermione.

The music totally rocked! I loved the music and it was hard not to dance on my bed! If you haven't yet, watch the additional scenes, there is a really long song and everyone's rockin' out!

I thought the scene at the Yule Ball hardly described what JK Rowling put in the book, yet it was still good.

Hermione's dress was my favorite. Yes, it wasn't the same color like it was in the book, but it still looked beautiful on her. She looked hot in it. Lucky Viktor! And Ron was SO jealous!

I don't the color of her dress really mattter, because Emma looked so pretty, and Krum looked very dashing. It was like the price and the princess, but of course Ron rightly ruined Hermione's hopes of that kind of thinking.

Hermione and Victor were the best couple, first of all they were recognized and Hermione was beautiful in her dress, about time to show off her body.

Fred and Angelina! They look so good together!


P.S. I'm just wondering did anyone else see Draco when you got the birds eye view of the ball? Because I did. (just felt like sharing that)

Yeah and also when him and that girl where dancing from the side view, it was quiet cool. Tom is good actor.
Something I noticed that I thought was cool is there's a part in the song "Do the Hippogriff" where Hermione and Ginny are dancing together, it's a wide shot. Where the boys are sitting at the tabel.

I totally love Hermy and Victor. They were so cute together! And Emma played that part well, where she was so happy to be with him. It was one of the best scenes.

It's gotta be Ginny and Neville. Doesn't anyone else think they were so cute?

I thought they were cute, but i didn't really like Ginny's dress though. It's the kinda dress that my parents made me wear when I was 6 and going to church. Krum and Hermione were my favorite couple though overall. What do you guys think about Harry and Pavarati? I thought they looked nice.
