Full Version: Whats your fav hogwarts class?
Id hafta say charms for me because learning all those spells and practicing them sounds like a lot of fun. Flying lessons came very close however! what abt u guys?

Charms came very close, but I absolutely love Defense Against the Dark Arts! It's so useful in the wizarding world, though Charms would probably be the most fun class evah!
i love dada! it looks like soo much fun (except umbridges class)
I'd have to say Charms, but DADA with Lupin would have been really cool!
I say DADA because it looks like an awesome class. Charms or Potions come close though. I love them all(with the exceptions of Care of Magical Creatures and Divination)!

yea defense against the dark arts definently sounds fun exept the one year with Umbridge. I would love however to have a defense against the dark arts class with Lupin teaching. he is sooo cool! and moody might be interesting too.
It is tough to pick. I pick....Charms because you can do so much. Transfiguration was a very close second.
Caring for Magical Creatures for Sure....i would've loved to see a Hippogriff...or even a unicorn...

I would say charms, but I also would like DADA!

Wow charms and DADA are popular ones! good choices. Care of Magical creatures would befun too except with the Blast Ended Screwts..i wanna stay away from those. But i would love to see unicorns, hippogriffs, and nifflers!
Potions because it's Chemistry! Also, Snape always has awesome insults for anyone and everyone.
I'd have to say Defence; it sounds very interesting, especially with Lupin. That said, Charms, Transfiguration and Care of Magical Creatures sound very cool. Oh to be at Hogwarts! 
DADA it doesn't always have the greatest teachers but so what?
I think that Charms would be my favorite class. (a lot of practice time during class and it'd be fun to make your teacup sprout legs) But DADA would come in a close second.

I said DADA, but it was a tie with Charms. I like some aspects, but not all of both classes and again could not decide.
I love all these classes! But I've noticed that you don't have Astronomy or Ancient Runes... both of which seems quite interesting to me!
I always liked transfiguration. Bc mcgonagall is fair and you can turn some stuff into weird things you dont see everyday if you mess up 
id say care of magical creatures..because hagrid is a good teacher and he brings in all those cool animals!

Transfiguration seems rather the fun-ness to me....
I like Charms, cause all the stuff they learn in that class sounds like so much fun and it's so useful. Like in book 4 when Harry used a summoning charm to get his broom in the first task.
I voted for Charms, because I love all Charms!!!!!!! I like DADA (or DCAO), but I like more other subjects, like CMC (CCM) or Divination.

I like DADA, just cause you get to learn how to defend yourself, but also what kind of evil spells there are out there. Also, to have had one year with Lupin,lol.
Definately Care Of Magical Creatures - I love animals - and I'd love to see a Niffler

DADA is soooooo the best and my favorate class! To me it just seems the most intersting!
This really depends on what year it is and who's taken it.
I selected potions. Because I really can appreciate what Severus says about it being an art and I love the image of the softly simmering cauldron. I love the potential that potions has and how things have to be done exactly right to be successful.
However if I was in Lupin's DADA class, I'm sure that would have to be the best- it would be exciting, interesting and all of that.

I voted for Charms. I would love to learn new spells, But If DADA was given by Prof. Lupin, than that would be my favorite class
I've voted for Potions. I like cooking and it's a bit like that and it's great to see the effects when somebody drinks it. I think it's maybe unnappreciated subject, because the effects in many cases are similar to wand wavings

I voted for Transfiguration.
It just sounds cool. And McGonagall is a great teacher, i think it wolud be fun My first thought was DADA, but then i thought about it: Quirrel, Lockhart, Umbridge...
Of course, there is our all-time favourite DADA Professor, Lupin ( 
), but he only lasted 1 year (and so did the others) and the others were...hmmm...lets say horrible. In the 6th year, there is Snape...a huge temptation, though...
Anyway, Transfiguration is my final vote.
TRANSFIGURATION, this class is so intersting, I would love to be able to change anything I wanted into something I needed or wanted. THa woul dbe such a hoot.

I voted for Charms. It seems so useful and most lessons in the book seem to be practical. I like that.
I would only like to take DADA if lupin was the teacher but i think transfiguration is interesting considering you can turn anything you want into somthing you may desperatly need!
It really depends. If Lupin was teaching, I'd love DADA. Transfiguration seems interesting too. But...what's Arithmancy? Divination seems stupid...so does History of Magic...erm...I dunno. But I think I'd like Charms the best.
The potion class is one of my fav class on Hogwarts . It is a the only class that makes sence , for the rest you need special energies and powers . On potion you just have to mix the ingredients in the wright order
transfigurstion... causse learning how to anmugus and how to turn into animals is cool to me

DADA. This seems to be the most interesting subject and if I went to Hogwarts this would definitally be one of the subjects I took for NEWTs. At least you're not stuck with the same boring teacher every year!

I like Defense Against the Dark Arts the most. There is so much to learn. I like Transifiguration second because I want to be an animagus.

Anywho, I'm going with DADA. It's good to know how to defend against the Dark Arts, even though I'd really rather learn the Dark Arts themselves. You learn some of them in the process though, like the Unforgivables.
