My fav DADA prof. was definently Lupin b/c he made class so interesting and fun. Especially the one class with the boggart. Very Cool! He classes are also more relaxed and he is just an awesome professor. Moody is my second fav b/c he too made class interesting. The one w/ the 3 unforgivable curses was cool.

Gilderoy Lockhart was/is a quirky chap, so he's definitely my favorite.

Lupin's the best teacher of all of them, as well as being the best character. He's one of those people you feel you could go up to with any problem and he'd listen and give advice (providing, of course, he's in human form at the time :wink:)

Who wouldn't pick Lupin? He was the only sane one! Being that two of them tried to kill Harry (Quirrell and Moody if you've forgotten) Lockhart was a waste and Umbridge was just well...terrible.

I'd have to say Lupin and Moody were my favorites, but Lupin definately triumphs over Moody. Lupin was just awesome!

Lupin is definetely the best. His relationship with Harry is what really made me like him. He was almost fatherly in a way, helping Harry out with his problems (because he was friends with James).

Moody was cool when he turned Malfoy into a ferret, but that wasn't actually him... so that's kind of confusing. ha

If basing my vote on teaching abilities, Imposter Moody taught the most, so it appeared. We never saw Quirrell teach and Umbridge failed miserably, as she set out to do. Lupin is my favorite, by means of personality and in informative teaching.

Well, first I want to say that I am sooo happy Umbrige isn't even listed. Well done!!

Lupin is the best teach Harry has had. He is sooo awesome! LOVE him!!!

There is just NO CONTEST when it comes to best DADA professor! Lupin ROCKS! He's the only normal (minus the werewolf thing) that can actually teach! Moody would be second...if it actually was Moody teaching!

Professor Lupin. He was so awesome. He made the class fun. Everyone loved him. Second would be Moody. Well the imposter Moddy I should say. I can't stand the other too. Quirell was tied with Voldemort and Lockhart was so full of himself. Ugh I don't know why any of the girls liked him. I;m a girl and he's not cute and not even close to charming. ugh

Lupin and Moody taught the students, but Lupin just was so much more friendly and fun-like he didn't have this whole mean aura about him.

Definately Lupin because he made the lessons so much fun and understood what he was doing. But Moody wasn't that bad except the fact that he was an imposter.

Mine is definatly Proffessor Lupin. He just the best. Moody was also cool, but then again it wasn't really Moody. Moody's classes was very exciting and his actions were funny,just mention a little ferret

Professor Lupin is one of my favorite adult characters, period.

I had to choose Professor Lupin. He was a kind DADA teacher. I think it was good that Harry had Professor Lupin around, or else Harry probably would have been depressed during his third year.

Moody's my second favourite, hence my username, but my heart will always belong to Professor Lupin. Besides that fact that he's amazing with the kids, he's also so sweet, he makes my heart ache. And I think he's a total hottie. But it's not just about his cute face. He's so gentle and kind. Those things also make him beautiful.

with out a shodow of a doubt i'm going to go for Remus for the same reason as Mithos, Remus along with Arthur, Hermione and Neville are my favourite characters (it changes quite frequently )

But whys Umbridge not an option? she may be as evil as Volde, but she was still a good Character.
