I would like to bring back Sirius Black. What about you?

Well first thing to say is that Nevilles parents aren't dead but I know what you mean. I was doubting between Sirius and Dumbledore, but I like Sirius much more so I voted for him.

well! Neville's parents are almost dead. Aren't they? There's no much difference, is there?

I voted for Dumbledore because he was very wise and can help Harry fight Voldermort. Also, he was the only apart from Harry Voldermort ever feared.

Sirius Black... Harry was really sad that he died(I was too ). it would be so great if I could make Sirius come back. I still havent got over that. *tear* Why did it have to happen.

oh Sirius Black for sure! I think he shouldn't have died and Harry could have been given very valuable info from him for sure! I don't think we have heard a good reason for his death at all either.

All honestly, I am not sure Dumbledore would want to be brought back to life. I think his death is significant to the story and I believe, don't know why, that he would want to stay dead. Perhaps it is a way to bring down Voldemort?

Anywho, who would I bring back to life?

Maybe Sirius so Harry has some living, I guess you can say relative.

hmm, I would pick Lily and/or James...they could tell Harry more about what he needs to know, and things like that... Now that I think of it, I would pick Lily. See if she really was what everyone thought she was, and if she looks like Ginny...

i'de revive dumbledore... i like sirius but i think DD's death was like more shiking and i'de like him alive more than sirius that is a very cool character but i rather reviving dumbledor... i also thought about james and/or lily but i think if they'd be aliv harry wouldn't feel the anger that will make him bring down the dark forces

I voted for Sirius. He is one of my two favourites and it was THE WORST death!! I just HATED that part in the book. I understand this talk about Harry having to be alone, but I just don't think it's fair. The closest thing that he had to having his parents alive again and it was ripped from him. It stinks!

This was possibly the hardest poll I've done. But you know, I really think that James and Harry would tear up Voldemort. Not saying that Dumbledore wouldn't but he's 150 something years old. Assuming that he is dead, the man needs a brake.

I voted for one of harry's parents, Lily to be exact. I believe she could get rid of Voldemort. I just have one of those 'what-if' theroies.

I would bring back James. I think Harry needs his father. Every man that was a father figure to Harry is dead. Why not bring back his real father? I believe that Harry would still go after Voldemort. He is not only angry about his parents deaths, but about the deaths of Dumbledore, Sirius, Cedric and all of Voldemort's horrific deeds. I think it would be great to see father and son defeat Voldemort together.

I really don't think that it was fair that he's life ended at such a short time. He was a great wizard and I am sure that he would be in the Order when he got older. Yes Harry lost all his father figures but they went into that knowing that they were going to die... I just really7 don't think that he had enough time in the book. I think that he should have some more.

i'd vote for sirius black! sirius is one of my favorite characters. i think he's cool and i think he really rocks because of his long hair! he'a like a father to harry. and he's a real man! a man who's always there in times of danger and is always there to risk evrything even his own life!

Well your poll doesn't say it has to be HP related, so I would chose my Aunt Janet who died from Ovarian Cancer over a year ago. She was one of 6 sisters, and one of the most humanitarian people I know. Love ya Aunty Jan

If it was HP specific than I would say Sirius. I love Dumbledore, at before I really thought bout it, he was my first choice. But he lived a long time and I think he had a good life mostly. Compared to Sirius who was a good person who rose above his oppressive beginnings only to lead a horribly tragic life, then cut down while he was still so young ... he deserves a better chance at life.

I voted for Sirius.. Because he's one of my favorite characters and Dumbledore was getting old and i think that Sirius could play a more important role in the war..

I chose Dumbledore because I think that Harry really needs him to find the horcurxes.....the thought of Dumbledore not being there for their seventh year is terrible!!! Who will Harry run to when he has a problem??!!......there will be no more "what should we do Harry?" "lets go tell Dumbledore!"

Sirius so that he and Remus can be together forever. Sorry, puppy shipper to the end. Plus Harry would have his father figure back again, Sirius' death seemed to hit Harry the hardest.

I voted for Sirius...Harry is missing him really much (and so do i ) and i think he could help him a lot!

I think that DD planned his death so i guess he would be angry if we brought him back.

We cant bring Lily back either because if she lived Harry would be dead.

And James. I dunno...seems impossible to me that he could have a normal life after Lilys death. He wolud wish that he died too.

I voted for one of Harrys Parents..because I think he needs to know his roots and it would be good for him to see the people that gave him life..The way the question was worded it was who I would bring back..meaning everything would stay the same up to that point and the person would be brought back to the present time..although it would be tragic if they died again..seeing as Harry has had so much to endure already...

Personally, I have absolutely no idea who I would bring back.


Albus Dumbledore would be a logical choice.
He is, after all, the only man that Voldemort was ever afraid of.


And yet, I would also like to bring back Sirius Black from the dead.
He is such a facinating character, and meant so much to Harry.
I can't imagine how he would feel.
Losing his parents, his godfather, AND Dumbledore.
What a living hell.

I think it would be unfair to bring back only ONE of Harry's parents.
Lily & James Potter are sort of a "package".
It would be too difficult, and too cruel to pick between.


True, Neville's parents (Frank & Alice Longbottom)are not dead. But they cannot remember him, nor can they live on their own. Which is sad.


Also, Cedric Diggory might be a good choice, considering that it was not his fault to have died.
He was unprepared, and happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
He is innocent. =(

I voted for Dumbledore. I mean, I love Sirius, and think he's really cool, but everyone needs Dumbledore, the old, and incredibly wise fatherly-like figure. And the fact that Voldy's afraid of him too.

And if Sirius was brought back to life, he would have to go into hiding again too, and we all know how he just hates that. But he was Harry's godfather, so...yeah. But I already voted. T.T I'm so bad!

One of Harry's parents? Well, if I had to choose only one, I'd have to say James. Harry needs a father. He needs a mom as well, but having a dad is nice to have if your a guy, and a mom is nice to have if your a girl. Since they're the same gender, they understand the "fazes" your going through and stuff. But personally, I'd like to bring them both. But, I think its best to keep them dead. It gives Harry lots of fuel he needs to burn on Voldemort. And it also keeps Harry safe, but then again, we arent sure. If Lily was brought back to life, would the love burned into Harry still work? Interesting thought...

The poor Longbottoms. I wish I could bring them back to sanity, but the world needs other people right now. I feel so bad, but its true!

Cedric!! It would stop Cho and his family and friends from weeping, and give Hufflepuff a chance at winning, and make Harry feel a little less guilty if he still does, but like I said before, the world needs other people first.

I voted Sirius. He is my favourite character and I don't think he should have died, he was like a father for Harry.

I didn't vote for Dumbledore, because he was too old, and if I've got to bring back someone from the death I would choose someone which died younger.

I didn't choose One of Harry's parents because I think it would be really difficult to choose which of them to bring back.

I've voted for Dumbledore. I liked him more than Sirius. But I'd like him to be and feel younger too because he felt bad in the last book, he was tired.

Ichose diggory not becasue I liked him the most from those who you listed, but becaus ehe was the youngest and had not eperienced life as much as the others. His life was cut too short I think.

i chose Sirius because he was the only Father Figure to Harry, and losing him was emothionally draining to him. Not that Dumbledore wasn't, but Harry wasn't going to live with Dumbledore after school, he was going to live with Sirius. Also, although Dumbledore knew James and Lily. he wasn't their best friend like Sirius was

I chose Sirius. I liked him more as a character and he was very close to Harry. I didn't like the way he died and it was shocking. I expected Dumbledore's death so I wasn't very shocked by it.

last year i should said Sirius ... but now i say Dumbledore . Harry need DD's helps more that Sirius's . I love Sirius , but DD is a better wizard than him . May be next time

I voted for Albus Dumbledore because even liking Sirius more I think that withot Albus Harry will have a more difficult work with Voldemort, he was the only one that knew more things about him!

Whoa! Talk about a hard poll! Let me just list my reasons for each one.
*One of Harry's Parents-
This was the first one I thought about. But I don't know. The whole story wouldn't have happened with them. It could also mess something up later.
*Albus Dumbledore-
Nope. Sorry, I love Dumbledore, but if he is dead, he died for a reason and not by accident and do you think he wants me coming along and ruining it for him?
*Sirus Black-
I cried so hard when he died. I don't think he is actually coming back, but I wish he would.
*One of Neville's parents-
Since they aren't actually dead, and still have a chance to "live" without my intervention, I'm not going to vote for them. Perhaps at the end of book 7 they will be healed.
*Cedric Diggory-
Nah, he's not of much importance anymore.
As you can probably tell by my list, I voted for Sirius. I felt he was the best choice overall. Important to Harry, wouldn't mess up the story too badly and I miss him.

Aww if only we could right? Anyways, I picked Sirius, I wish he could come back, he was awsome! It doesn't make me sad that he died, it makes me sad that he had so little time to spend with Harry.. And in OtoP, when Sirius was so cheerful for Christmas, Harry was locked away in his room.. when Hemrione fianlly pulled him out

But I think Harry was robbed of Sirius.. He had just gotten to know him and Poof! He was gone! Life moves too fast..

I wolud probably bring back Dumbledore or Black. Harry loved them both very dearly .. I love Sirius soo much .. i would really want him to come back .. but my vote went to Dumbledore .. I mean not only can he do soething for Harry .. and can do something for everyone .. I mean he WAS the headmaster .. and a really important part to voldermort's fear .. right?

Anyway...

I'd bring back Sirius. I just love him so much, and I think his life was unfairly cut short. He spent most of his years in a wizard prision, unfairly accused of murdering his best friend. Two years after getting out? He's murdered. Not only that, but I just love Sirius so much, and I love his character. It's really sad that only one real Marauder is still standing.

And to think of what Remus had to go through....it's horrible. I think Sirius's death had a big impact on a lot of different people in the wizarding world.

Anyway, next I'd bring back Neville's parents. He really deserves some loving parents. To think of what he had to go through...I just love Neville so much. He really deserves better then the kind of cruel treatment he got from Snape, and Slytherins.

I voted for "One of Harry's Parents." Harry would have had a much better childhood growing up with one of his parents (I would rather Lily than James I think) than with those nasty Dursleys. He needs a motherly and fatherly character, and as we know, everybody taht he turns to for that purpose ends up dying


OH! and by the way, Neville's parents are not dead, they are in St. Mungo's Hospital becuase they were driven insane by Bellatrix Lestrange ( I hate that girl)..

I picked Sirius before I saw 'one of Harry's parents'! But I am still ok with my choice. I would bring back all three if I could!

I really want Sirius back, he was such a great man. But Dumbledore (I love him too) is more important in the fight against Voldemort and more useful because he know a lot about Voldemort, etc..

I picked Sirius. He's one of my favorite characters. Though it would be useful to have DD back, it would kind of defeat the purpose of Harry fighting the Dark Lord by himself. Sirius would probably give Harry some tips, but he's less likely to actually interfere with the battle.

i chose one of harrys parents, after all he has done he diserves to have one of his parents with him. when i first looked at this i thought it meant someone close to you not harry so i will put mine anyway. i wouldnt bring anyone i have lost back because losing them has made me what i am. i would bring back all the people who died in the tsunami or the twin towers disaster. i would also bring back young children who have died for no reason. i would bring back all those who hitler persecuted and hitler himself so we could put him on an electric chair and make him feel the pain he cause many others.

I agree with you Vindictive Dark it would defeat the object of the final battle if Dumbledore was back, but sirius would just be able to support Harry. Sirius was one of my favourite characters and his death upset me the most I think. But JK knows what shes doing!

yeah i know what you mean looony luna, sirius death upset me alot and it felt like apart of my love for harry potter had died with sirius because he felt like a god father to me too. i loved him, but i also loved dumbledore and got very upset then, my mum was absolutely shocked why i was crying, and im not even going to try and be masculine about crying because i think it is an honour to be upset about sirius and dumbledore.

Dumbledore!

He was almost the only one who could help him to destroy the Horcruxes! And he was the only one who scared Voldemort, so Hogwarts is not secure...

And Sirius, he was very important for Harry, his contact outside Hogwarts.

I would definitely bring Sirius back cos as you can see in my siggie that I love him, he is awesome! Not only that I would love for harry to be happy and I know you think it should be his parents but harry saw sirius go and he really got on well and got to know sirius alot, and I think it would be great for harry to live with sirus like they planned!

i am totally torn between sirius black, dumbledore and cedric! =] i would've brought dumbledore first, naturally.. i prolly would've brought sirius next and then cedric.. because i think it would make a lot of people happy by bringing these people back// everyone would feel safe whenever dumbledore's around.. harry and those near and dear to sirius, they would've been delighted! and last but not the least, cho wouldn't be as miserable and depressed as she is if cedric is back! =]

i voted for dumbledore because i think that he is the most important character in the book next to harry. and i just cant imagine reading the 7th book without him even being in it. its just not right that he's dead...

It was a tough call between Sirius and Dumbledore but I went with Sirius simply because if Dumbledore was alive Harry would never get anything done and because of that he'd never grow as a person, or into the person he's meant to be. The more I think about it the more I think there really was a reason for Dumbledore's death and it was just that. Harry has to go on by himself.

But since Sirius was basically his only family member he had left, and he died a guilty man which drives me crazy, I would bring him back simply for Harry to have at least a teenie bit of happiness and normal-ness. Sirius's death seems more random and uncalled for to me. He could motivate Harry to go on and possibly help him but not in the way Dumbledore could.

I voted Sirius but I would also want to bring back Dumbledore and Lily and James.

i would bring back none of these people they need to die for the plot of the book. and what would be the story if harry stil had one of hhis parants or dumbledor, without him dyeing harry wouldnt have to face voldemort alone. they are all dead for a reason.

Definatly Dummbledore, althoughmaybe he just has to dye for what happens in book 7. Who can say?
Besides, maybe he will come back anyway.
