The Simpsons it is so much better than family guy ! i love it!

I like Friends, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Pimp My Ride, even Top Gear... the presenters are funny.

I like all the old t.v. shows. The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, Bonanza, all the shows on t.v. land. The only show I watch that's new is Ghost Whisperer. I love that show. It can be so creepy at times.

This show is so addicting! VH1 had a whole week, non-stop marathon of it a few weeks ago and my sister and I watched all of it.
Usually I'm not into those shows, especially the shows on VH1 or MTV, but this one is great. I just can't stop watching it.

whenever I look at top-model-programmes make me feel unsure about myself.. I am not very slim [nor fat] and I've got big flat feet... when I see those girls being [almost] perfect, I feel soo ugly..

Gah you should never feel bad about the way you look! That's exactly why I hate America's Next Top Model! They're all uba thin and not only is it a bad example for people to go anorexic, but as you said, it does make people (like me too!) self-conscious about the way they look!

The only fashion-ish programme I watched was Trinny and Sussanah Undress the Nation - they actually made people feel good by giving them a good look and good fashion sense, even when they aren't the prettiest of people, which is why I quite admire the two of them!

But apart from that, I don't watch those sort of programmes. HA I'm watching Takeshi's Castle at the minute, I really love that show!!

I don't feel very comfortable with my looks either, and I'll be the first to say that I'm the most un-photogenic person in the world, so I could never ever be a model.
But looking at the photographs they take in America's Next Top Model from an artistic perspective, and also from one who likes to study physical movement and how acting can be applied to modeling, it's a very interesting show to watch.
I really watch it to see the photos. I don't watch it for Tyra, or for the drama. Those things are irritating.

I don't think I've seen any girl on ANTM that's been "perfect" in my eyes. Some of them aren't even pretty. So, that's something that also boosts my confidence with myself.

I just don't read too much into the show or let it affect me. It's just good entertainment.

I love how you put it. I totally agree! I don't watch it because I want to be like them, or because I want to see Tyra or the drama. I just watch it because I love modeling and photography and I just love seeing who wins and why, or what pics or advice they give, etc. I think people need to stop watching those shows and say; I want to be just like these super-skinny models! Because you don't.

That's true.. but when I see the shots when they're making the photo's and then the photo itself, it looks almost always like they "photoshopped" it. in most magazines are pictures of people who are "photoshopped". and in a few magazines they put pictures of people who don't really exist. There was a campaign here for women who felt mislead by the commercials. it was good that they did, but it didn't really work...

Well, that's what girls need to keep telling themselves and keep in mind when they see those photos or any picture in a magazine.
They've all been touched up. No matter who it is, it's been re-touched.

It is an unfortunate thing though when a woman can't be appreciated for her own natural unique beauty.

Hollyoaks! - Come on this show is pure genius. I am addicted! Am so sad OB is leaving though.

Skins - When it returns I'll be stoked! Series one was awesome.

One Tree Hill Ten times better than the OC (Even though I love the OC) I'd recommend it to people who like stuff like the OC, it's pretty addictive.

Family Guy - Loving this show. Stewie is hilarious. Officially.

CSI- Love Sarah Sidle, I'm sad she left though. I feel bad for the team.

Heroes- I love some of the powers the people have, and how they use them.

Chuck- I love how Chuck is a supercomputer. Amazing!

Bones- Strong, powerful, independent woman who works with the FBi and a pretty smart team. And it all takes place in a museum!

House- Evil man who saves lives! Well not exactly evil, but he's not the nicest man.

I've watched America's Next Top Model a few times. Some aspects of it are interesting, but overall I can't be bothered. The few times I have watched it, it makes me want to join them! Only to be the one on there who can model fantastically, is really nice, can eat whatever she wants and is not shallow in the slightest (although that particular desire may indicate that I am! Oh well...). With the show, the cat-fights and deliberately snarky comments get to me. Why, oh why, would you bother to insult someone else? If that one's annoying you, just let it be, you know? They argue over the most pathetic things. It seems to me that they are incredibly shallow girls who need to grow up and find out what it means to be a decent human being. The odd one is alright though.



That show is really good. Although the screen thing can be a bit much at times . I really like how they look at all aspects of a person and not judge how best to work with them on a one-dimensional level. In the end, it goes beyond clothes and dressing, but onto good relationships and expressing yourself. Although the clothes are nonetheless cool.

Yay! Series 3 of Prison Break has started here! It's pretty intense...

All my favorite TV shows are reality shows. I love America's Next Top Model, American Idol, Survivor, Big Brother, Real World, Real World/ Road Rule Challenges, Flava of Love, I love New York, Making the Band, Surreal Life, The Hills, and even Hell's Kitchen.

I also love other shows like Maury, The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Hannah Montanna, That's So Raven, Sponge Bob, and anime such as Naruto.

Then there's also the old, old shows that they show on Nick at Night like Fresh Prince, and the Cosby Show.

Oh I love Masterchef, especially the Celebrity version! It's so good to see all the food they make, and as I am a huge fan of food, I love it!!

And we can't forget the old classics - Fawlty Towers, got to love that! And Only Fool and Horses - can't remember whether I mentioned them shows on my last post here, but either way, I love them!

I used to like Zoey 101 but then Jamie-Lynn got pregnant and now whenever I see the show I just think of how stupid she is - she shouldn't be getting herself into that mess when she's just 16.

I sometimes watch H2O: Just Add Water on Nickelodeon, about 3 lasses who turn into mermaids - it sounds sad, but it's really good!

I love Gladiators too - I've met one of the female ones, Panther! She's from the North East and I've seen her a couple of times out and about

I watch The Zoo sometimes - it's a program about Auckland Zoo in New Zealand and I really like watching it, even though I'm not an animal lover!!

Amy--, you watch The Zoo? Wow, I had no idea that that tv programme had gone overseas! I'm from New Zealand by the way. Yeah, that programme's pretty good. I spent 3-4 years of my life convinced that I should become a zookeeper thanks to that show.

And Masterchef is pretty good, it's on just before dinner here, and as a result I always give Mum some 'constructive criticism' about the food she serves up

I keep meaning to watch Fawlty Towers, but I keep forgetting. I've heard it's really good.

Mundu - yeah, I watch the Zoo all the time!! I the lemurs!

You should so watch Fawlty Towers!! It's hilarious, seriously. There's only one downside, and that's that there aren't many episodes but it doesn't matter how many times you watch them, you still laugh every time!!

Oh and in case you didn't know, the main character is played by John Cleese, who is Nearly Headless Nick in PS, he is what makes the whole thing funny, he's brilliant

I like the show Balls of Steel...I don't know they do funny stuff there and I love the guy with the 'Urban Games' so hilarious.

Oh, and I also watch ANTP for the pics...they're so amazing! But Tyra and the drama is not what I like about it...

The X-Files is my favorite show of all time! It's been off the air since it ended in 2002, and I have been watching it in re-runs since then without fail. I can practically recite the scripts! I love David Duchovny, a.k.a. Fox William Mulder, and Gillian Anderson, a.k.a. Dana Katherine Scully, together they are magic! Pure magic! Harry and Hermione remind me of these two, I guess that's why I'm such an ardent H/Hr shipper!

I love Naruto and X-Men Evolution! I wish X-Men was still on though, I never found out what happened.
I like a lot of the older cartoon network shows like Powerpuff Girls, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, and Fosters. I like Wizards of Waverly Place, Phineas and Ferb, and Hannah Montanta too.

I sometimes watch older shows like "I Love Lucy" or "The Carol Burnett show." I also sometimes watch "The Simpsons." I also sometimes enjoy Star Trek re-runs.

But my favorites, I think, are British shows, like "Keeping Up Appearances" and Masterpiece Theater.

I'm not a big TV watcher, so I really don't have a lot of favorites.

I've recently started watching Skins, which is amazing. I saw the first episode and wasn't that impressed, but I'm glad I gave it another chance because it's just excellent.

Abesolutley love Prison Break! that show is the best show ever created! im absolutley hooked! i just cant magine a life without it! I havent come across a single person who has watched an episode and doesnt like it! it can do know wrong... well except for killing Tweener but!

Ooh, I was looking for a thread about Pushing Daisies, but anyway ...
This is my favourite show: I don't watch much tv nowadays I'm like older and find tv boring, but Pushing Daisies really caught me ... I watched the end last thursday; don't know whether it's the same in US. I only missed a few chapters, and most important of all, the first one! So I knew everything but how it all began. But happily today they're gonna be giving it again since the beggining! I promess not to miss it again
Other of my favourtie tv shows are Two and a Half Men and Friends, but I don't watch them everyday, just when I catch them. Or maybe some random chapters of Gossip Girl, or famous-about-things in E! and VH1.
And then an Argentinian soap that I don't like it that lot as in the beginning, but now it has caught me .

I liked Pushing Daisies as well, but here in the US it hasn't been on since either December or January due to the writers strike. They did say that it is coming back in the fall. Yeah!
I also like Brothers and Sisters, Gray's Anatomy and Dirty Sexy Money. DSM hasn't been on since Dec. or Jan. either so I will be glad when it comes back.

The only shows I actively watch when ever it is on are CSI: Miami and The David Letterman Show. The shows I will stop and watch if they are already on the TV are South Park, Family Guy, CSI, and Grey's Anatomy.

One of my favorite cartoon is a British cartoon called "Danger Mouse" . I've just bought seasons 1, 2, 3 & 4 on DVD. I LOVE this! Nickelodeon used to show it when I was in high school, and that was over 20 years ago! Just had to let somebody know.

These are the only shows i take the time to watch really. Nothing else catches my eye. i used to watch american idol but now it seems kind of repetitive.

NOW I can say with a certainty what my favorite show is!

Doctor Who! Best sci-fi show ever! And I was delighted when I discovered that my university has a Dr. Who club! Haha! Love it.

CSI is fantastic. I always love seeing how they crack the case. CSI: NY is my favorite out of the different ones.

My Wife And Kids is a really hilarious show. I love that show.

What I Like About You is also a funny show. It has Jennie Garth and Amanda Bynes starring in it.

Charmed is a really good sci-fi show. It is about three witches called the Charmed Ones.

My favorite show of all time has to be Doctor Who.

I love everything about it, well, I've never been very fond of Martha, but I digress. I also love Torchwood, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sex and the City, South Park, and Dead like me.

I was thinking about favorite shows and while something like The Wire or The Job stands out, I really think that the x-files is the show I most enjoy watching. It keeps the big storyline going while still getting "monsters of the week" in there to keep things interesting. And Duchovny's always brilliant.

Well, I watch alot of TV s, so i have quite a few favorites.

My favorite shows are...House, Family Guy, Scrubs, Futurama, 2 1/2 men, and entourage


However, my all time favortie show is South Park. The last few seasons haven't been great, but watch seasons 2-9 and you will see why this show is amazing.

LOST!!! WOOT WOOT!!!! Haha. Sorry. I have recently gotten caught on LOST. It's so awesome.

I'm also I supporter of So You Think You Can Dance. When I'm old enough, I plan on auditioning for it. I LOVE to dance.

The other day when I posted my favorite shows, I forgot to mention John and Kate Plus Eight. I love the kids so much, and even though Kate can be annoying, I honestly don't know a single person who wouldn't get stressed out with having two sets of multiples that equals a total of eight kids in three years! I think they're great parents and I can't wait to see more of how the kids grow up.
