I know most of you read on the main page and on the side there's a pole about what song does Harry NOT need to hear right now? Well I haven't seen a topic about song choice so here goes...

I think the best song for the Voldemort and Harry scenes like Goblet Of Fire and the final book is "One Step Closer" by Linkin Park(The Reanimation CD).

The continuing and meaningful Horcrux mission "Breaking the Habit" also by Linkin Park(Meteora CD).

I'm trying to think of other songs besides Linkin Park. So I'm just curious to what you think.

I read this and thought to myself what is the problems with all these songs. They are all modern. In my opinion if we are to pick songs for Harry Potter ( an alltime classic series of books) we should pick alltime classic songs.
I have one which I can imagine being played if Voldemort is killed and so is Harry.

Just imagine it.
There is a big scene where the final battle takes place say the department of mysteries . They are fighting say in the golden rings because of priori incantartem. Nobody can get close. Death Eaters and Order Members halt in their battle to watch. Suddenly the locked door opens. Love spills out and passes through the golden barrier to Harry. It invades Harrys body and Harry sends love at Voldemort. Voldemort dies. Harry, exhausted dies. Death eaters are rounded up and a lament led by fawkes is sung. Everyone sings hallelujah, not only because of Voldemorts death but also because of the loss of the person who could love the most. To Harry.

Lupin - 'Cry little sister' (Sisters of Mercy) and 'Bittersweet' (within temptation)- I don't know why they just seem to express a sort of melancholy and deep sadness that I think Remus has, but also the strength he feels within and from knowing he has friends and love that will stop him from 'falling'

This song is so crazy cool... i imagine the fast parts of the song are a dramatic, 360 degree pan of the scene, in slow motion of Dumbledore corned on the tower by the DE eaters.

The Slow parts of the song are Dumbledore's flashbacks of his life...

and the fast part at the end could be the final act.... the killing of Dumbledore.
