It depens on many things I guess like which role I'll have to play and If I have time for it, sounds a bit dull but If I'm really busy with school exams and stuff I would say No to the minor role My school is strict, and if I would take the role and skip classes, I would deffinitly be kicked off and I really want to graduate within 3years from now.

I know its bad but I think I really would. I've finished all of my exams and stuff now, and I would love a role in the Harry Potter films.. even if it was a minor one.

Do you even need ask?! If I had someone from the studios say I had an audition for a minor role, id just be like "Tell me when and where" and i'd be there!

though i wouldnt really miss much as a) I already live in the uk, id take holiday from work..

I'd love to say yes because I am fascinated by the movie business and I am a big fan of the Harry Potter films, but to be honest I would have to say no. I have two little ones to worry about and given that it is a minor role you specified I really dont think they would cater for me to fly them out to the UK with me and have them babysat while I fluff about in wizard robes (as much as I would thoroughly enjoy it ) *dream on*

As sad as it is, I would. I am obsessed with Harry Potter, and the rest of my life could probably wait for awhile.

Well im not at school so yes I need to consider the role, I would not doit simply to be in the crowd... would need to have a few lines but not with the main caracters would not enjoy that...

Well, I am an aspiring actor, so I would have to say that I would take the role on these conditions: The studio would reduce my paycheck and use the money they removed to pay for my trip to the UK and for lodging. I couldn't afford to fly there and pay for a hotel. That's condition number one. Number two would be that, well, I actually can't think of another one right now. I wouldn't do it if I was just an extra or anything though. I'm a full time college student right now, but my school has an excellent abroad program: even in the UK, so I'd probably be able to take some independant classes through Oxford or something while there so my studies wouldn't be totally abandoned hehe

yes i definatly would. Even though im in college i would take time off. Especially since it would probably be second semester and then summer. I think it would be amazing to be in a movie, and learn all about the process.

Not to mention i would use my womenly tricks to get Tom Felton! *Wha ha ha*

It all depends on how big the role was, and what I was giving up to go. It really would be a once in a life time oppourtunity though, I mean how many people can say that they were in one of the Harry Potter movies.

(The only thing I would not do is take more than like 2 weeks off school, I just could not do that with all the classes I am taking!)

Well, at the moment I am currently doing nothing except going to college, taking some classes that I already know and basically won't need later, I probably would drop everything and take the role.

You get paid pretty good for litle work, but I think it would just be the fact that it is a Harry Potter movie and you could meet the cast and crew.

What a fun question! Yeah, I would love to have a minor role. I wouldn't mind having the role of Dumbledore's Widow. Of course, I would be years younger than Albus. I would have been the reason for keeping him young. (ahem)

Another role I wouldn't mind playing is that of Hermione's great-grandmother. I have always been under the impression (right or wrong) that Hermione's great-grandmother was a Witch. Hermione's parents are muggles, but the gene for being born a Witch skips generations. Of course, I would be portraying Hermione's great-grandmother in flashbacks; and therefore, I would be a young woman in those flashbacks.

Actually, to get a role in a Harry Potter movie, I'd play Grawp's love interest! Or maybe not!

I would drop everything, but only because I'd regret not doing it. I've turned down many things because of some reason or another and always regreted it so now if I know I'll regret not doing something I just do it.

well, i voted on "depends on how many things" because right now, i do do alot of things, however, they are all things i would drop for a hp role. however, im only in 8th grade, so things might get more important later on....it just depends. kinda depends on what role too.

I voted that I guess it would depend on many things. For one, it would depend on which role and if I really had a common ground and understanding of that character. I also have school and homework to worry about. I do happen to have a life that is filled with drama and constant apppointments and times I need to meet with certain actions, meds, etc., and I could only hope that I would be able to go to the set all day and stuff like that. I guess I can dream. . .I would really want to, though!

I wish I could, but since I am so obssessed, it sort of depends on which role. If it were the role of Romilda Vane, which I live for, I would fly out to the UK in an instant, but if it were something like Demelza, I probably wouldnt. My friend Katee, she auditioned for some role and didn't get it, but she is on a pretty popular show now, so she is busy enough. She's a big fan of HP though and was somewhat devastated at the time. Silly girl...

Absolutly! I am unbelievabley obsessed, I wouldn't care what role it would be. It would be the best thing in the world to have my name in the credits of a Harry Potter movie, even if it was under "Girl 3"

For me, it depends on your definition of a minor role. If you consider (as I do) Tonks to be a minor role, absolutely. I’d love to play Tonks. I love the thought of getting to act like I can change my appearance on a whim and I love her quirkiness.

It depends on the role. If it was for the part of Romilda Vane in HBP, hell yes. But if it was for an extra on set? I wouldn't drop everything I've ever worked for to maybe show up for a few seconds on the silver screen. Now, If I was to play a major role (Ginny, perhaps?) I would drop everything and more.

Im 50% brittish so I might be able to figure a way to get in the movies but it also depends what role. If I could play Kingsley, then yes, but if it was someone lame like theodore nott than no, it all depends on the role.

well, i loooove acting and i love HP so i would obviously do everything to get any role... and maybe i'd get other roles after that...
but i'd really need a role that fits me... but that would be the case anyways, i think...

I'd have to turn down a really minor role, because it just wuldn't be worth dropping everything. But I would love a major role or even a Seamus/Crabbe/Goyle kind of role - it would be incredible to perform with such an incredible array of acting talent...Rickman...Smith...Oldman...Coltrane....Gambon...the list is endless

I have always wanted to act, and it would be a fabulous thing to tack on to my currently non-existant-since-high-school acting resume. lol Of course, I would hope I had at least a speaking line at some point. Just the chance to possibly meet all the actors would be enough for me!

any role in harry potter just means being a part of the movie. you would get to meet some of the cast, and to just be there where the magic is being made. awesome. also, the opportunity comes up only once. there are only a few movies to go, and then there will be no more chances. and you would always have the memory of the time you spent on the harry potter set and everytime you see the movie, you would remember that.

Well I live in England, so if I landed a role such as an extra, I wouldn't have to sacrifice too many things. The main HP actors still manage to cope with school work and they have large parts. If I had a full time job I probably wouldn't though.

I'd have to be able to speak and meet the actors... Prefferably a long speaking roll that involves some interaction with the trio. But I'm not going to get my hopes up, it'll never work out for me. Oh well, a girl can dream can't she?
