What's the oddest pairing you've heard of or read about?

-Hermione/Snape, very odd and very wrong.
-Tonks/Lupin, same reason as above...c'mon, the guy's in his late thirties! And she's, what? 20?

There are more, of course, but those are the ones that bug me the most.

PLEASE, PLEASE take into concideration that Hermione/Snape pairings are generally set AFTER Hermione is OUT of Hogwarts. YES, it is wrong if she is under 18, but if she is older than 18 it's perfectly legal and not wrong at all.

And Tonks/Remus... That's not a HUGE difference. My best friend's parents are 20 years apart. I'd say Tonks is probobly about 24 or so.

The wierdest pairing I've heard... Pansy/Neville. That one is definately odd to me.

*Shivers* I'm sorry but that's just wrong xX;;...It also disturbs me that H/D shippers still have hope even when J.K.R said, very plainly: 'It isn't going to happen!'.

My friend thinks that once Ron is out of school that he'll date Trelawny..I think that's more odd then H/D but I had to put that is what came to mind first.

Also, I doubt age has anything to do with true love...*Shrugs*

Neville/Pansy....I remember reading a fanfic on that! It was pretty cute. Lol, I made Neville/Millicent, except Millicent wasn't evil, she was just ugly.

I liked the first chapter of that fic.....it was called "Magnificent Millicent." Oddest pairing though....

Hermione/Pansy. I ran into that when I was first exploring the VAST world of fanfiction. Which is why I recommend, go find a fanfiction dictionary before you proceed to read fics that you don't really understand.

But for the general public, I'm going to have to say like, Hagrid and Hermione would be sick...just the size difference...ew. I also think Dumbledore/Hermione would be sick. And, Dumbledore/Minerva M. because they're both old and I dont' want to think about that.

Seriously, I saw this one on fanfiction.net. And something made me read it. How I wished I'd never strayed into the realm of Harry Potter fanfiction.

I've seen quite a lot of Snape/Hermione, and it doesn't irk me nearly as much as it should. Some of it actually isn't bad, given that it's quite subtle, and Snape and Hermione both stay in character. But there do exist some absolutely dreadful fics in that department, however. Nobody in their right mind would have Snape confess openly his desperate passion for Hermione, while the latter gives lap-dances and instigates intense, wild... nevermind.

(The lap-dance part is the only thing I made up here)

My friend and I have come up with some that would take te cake, even over Harry and Neville (and are totally out of the blue):

Hagrid/Snape
McGonagall/Flitwick
Hagrid/Flitwick
Pansy/Firenze

And the most disturbing--

Filch/Mrs. Norris.

Though my favorite is Fawkes/Mrs. Norris-- think about the children! Flying fire-kittens of doom!

hum, the oddest? I think i've seen a Draco/Neville, but I am a huge slash fan, so it didnt bother me much. Probably the one that I have read was Harry/Hedwig, and all I could say was eww. And there was also a Charlie/Draco one too, its not gross, just that ppl are putting Draco with any Weasley. And i've also read a Lucuis/Molly, which reminds me of Draco/Ginny, again, Draco with a Weasley, lol.

For me the oddest pair would be

I'm assuming that many ships are homosexual because it's practically guaranteed that it won't happen in the book. And it's FAN-FICTION. Not the actual books....so that's why.

As I’ve said before, bring on the teacher and student relationship…it would be funny. Am not a big fan of Hermione as she’s a smart-pee but I do like Snape and if he had to have a relationship with anyone I think Hermione would be the most fun one to have it with as they are bother peculiarly smart and witty and Snape’s comments would really bring her down…which would be funny as all they’d do is argue all the time.

Ok an odd paring, Harry and Professor McGonagall…not going to happen and the age gap is like 116…lol jk, I really don’t see a problem with age differences to tell you the truth but after 60 I think it’s a little sick…and 50’s pushing it too!
