Well, I d like to be a professor I GUESS, an auror would be challenging and ever changing, but dangerous, St Mungos might be a bit BORING

I would really like to work in Hogsmade, maybe open my own shop or something! Or to be a Transfiguration or DADA teacher! Very exciting!

i'd want to be a quidditch player. either a seeker or a beater. if i couldn't be one of them i'd want to be a DADA teacher, actually when i think about it i wouldnt want to teach cheeky kids like me so i change my mind about the teaching thing i'd want to own a little cafe or something in diagon alley

i want to be a quidditch player, maybe chaser or a keeper. i'm not good in seeing small things(seeker) or beating another player(beater). i just can't, even though i must.

I'd also want to be a quidditch player(chaser or seeker!) Puddlemere united maybe? haha

I think being an auror would be the coolest, but i think it would also be fun to be the DADA teacher at Hogwarts, or maybe even Care of Magical Creatures (but i wouldn't subject anyone to Blast Ended Skrewts) .....

I would like to work at the Ministry of Magic in the Department for International Cooperation!!

I do not really knw what career i would have in the wizarding world.

I want to be Prime-minister in real life so I think I'd aim to be Minister for Magic! I know loads of them have been horrible, but I'd promise to the Magical world and not be biast! So, if in twenty years theres a new female Prime-minister, see if her scond name is Pengelly!

Mundane jobs have never really been my strong suit, so I think I'd like to work in the Auror Department and help rid the world of bad wizards and evils things like that. An Auror never has the same day twice, I think; that's why it would be so cool - never a boring day.

If i had a wizarding career it would have to be something exciting so i would like to be an auror. I would love to get right in the action and help people any way can especially if their was a war going on. I couldnt just sit back and watch our would being destroyed.

i think that it would be really cool to be an auror. it sounds so exciting. you would always have something to do. i agree with Lily_Potter you would be out helping, i wouldn't be able to just sit there waiting to know what has happened.

Probably an Auror or a writer for the Daily Prophet... I love writing and reporting... plus, as my mates will tell you, I am VERY nosy! Ha ha, lol. But I really think (and I'm not being conceited) I would make a good Auror.

Definately Auror, I love the CJ system, and have a degree in it. I used to work in the CJ system before becoming a mom, so auror would be a great profession. I love the idea of batteling a dark wizard, and putting them in their place, ha ha.

I think it would be great to be an Auror. I love excitement and danger and the thrill of hunting down bad guys for a living would be awesome! But I also think I would really like Quidditch because I love sports so maybe a Professional Seeker for the Chudley Cannons or something

I would want to be a Wand-Maker, like Ollivander. It would be cool to be the person to supply the wizarding world with wands. If not a Wand-Maker, I would like to be a Seeker on one of the Quidditch teams, although I am not very fast, I have really good eyesight, and I am good at catching.

I would like to be a breeder of winged horses and unicorns!

An Auror was my first choice... Yeah, like probably most of the people out there, but given the fact that I'm a law student, probably a job at the Ministry's Magical Law Enforcement Department might suit me! (Just like what my name says!)
I would like that! Very much like what JKR says Hermione ends up doing, but anyways, girls with big bushy hair rule!

Without a doubt in my mind, I'd like to be an auror. The excitement and unpredictable nature of such a career would entice me.

If I couldn't be an auror, I'd like to be a professor at Hogwarts - maybe Potions or Arithmancy. Also, going into Wizard Law and maybe eventually becoming a part of the Wizengamot would be appealing to me.

I would definitely be a healer, something related to my dream job-a doctor. I would also love to be a breeder of hippogriffs and phoenixs. ( they amaze me)

I'd be someone that studies magical creatures. Maybe I'd do something with Dragons, like Charlie. Maybe I'd just kind of explore the world and search for magical animals and write about them. Yeah, that would be so completely awesome.

...well, i got st. mungo's head potions mistress in a quiz, and i guess that's what i'd like anyway.. because it'd be intersting creating new potions that would help other people, and the subtle science of potion brewing seems mysterious and magical.. i think snape would have liked me.

...although working at a library would be fun, will all those books full of magic and languages unspoken.. i'd feel like i'm in heaven with all the knowledge that magical books hold. and it would also be fun chasing monster books or finding invisible books and stuff..

Hmmm, this is a hard one. Obviously the main attraction for most people would to become an auror, but I don't like the idea of that. I think I'd like to be a teacher at Hogwarts, of transfiguration ( once McGonagall retires ofcourse), but otherwise it would be something like Charlie, to do with magical creatures.

This is a hard question however unlike most people the job i would probably like the least would be an Auror. This is because i really don't feel the job would suit me, I prefer to do things that aren't a risk to my life and im pretty sure that being an Auror would put you in some life threatening situations. Jobs that i would like would be a healer, I find all the potions very interesting and would like to help people. Also anything working with magical creatures, im not a huge animal lover, but i like most of them and i would enjoy working with them. Another job that i would really like would be in the department of magical law enforcement! I really want to be a lawyer when i get older and i think i would be very good at it

Another thing I would like to do is something with books. Being a shopkeeper in my own personal bookstore/coffee house or a worker at Flourish and Blotts. I love books, so that would be cool.

An author would also be an awesome profession. Writing fantasy has always been fun for me, but if I lived in a fantasy world, maybe I would really enjoy writing nonfiction! Or, at least, Wizarding nonfiction. Maybe I could be a combination Magical Zoologist and an author who writes about her findings. THat would really be great.

I'd want to be an auror. I love everything that has to do with law!! Thankfully the quiz I took puts me in law enforcement. And My second choice would be a Hogwarts teacher. I'm thinking transfiguration..or DADA. I think my interest in law enforcement would come in handy for DADA.

I think that the job quiz in the sorting forum is really cool with this - it gave me a job I wouldn't have ever thought of, because there are really only certain jobs that are well known throughout the books, and I think it was a really cool idea. You guys should try it, if you haven't already!!

I would love to be a proffesional Quidditch player. I LOVE FLYING!!! I would be a beater. I can't catch worth beans, I am not small or nimble enough to be a seeker. Being Keeper would be okay I guess, but I much prefer knocking other people off their brooms and having a bat to protect me from bludgers!

I would love to be a wand maker. I would like to make powerful and strong wands like elder wand and then use them against the bad guys.

For some reason, i would like to get into Wandlore. It would make you feel great knowing you supply buches of people with one of the most important wizarding tool. And remembering all of that info? That would be a little tough... It'd be worth it though.

Sports has always been my keenest interest so playing Quidditch would be a dream job for me; or as my answer to the quiz said, teaching flying at Hogwarts but I'd probably be more interested in playing it at first, after my playing career was over I'm sure I'd settle down to teach it

I know many people have said it but I would love to be an Auror. Maybe if I had an injury that ended my Quidditch career lol but I love the action and danger of the work involved. The risk would be what makes it fun

I think i would want to be a Charms teacher at Hogwarts. Hogwarts is my favorite magical place and I would love to have my job there! Charms is my favorite subject because you can do really fun stuff. I also really like teaching too. My only problem is I would want my family to come live with me, so maybe that could work? haha idont know

A writer for the Daily Prophet would be cool as well. Not the Reeta Skeeter kind of journalist, who writes only what people want to hear, but a reporter who actually reports the facts as they are. With all the damage Reeta has caused since Harry's fourth year for both Harry and Dumbledore, it would be nice and a full-time job to be on clean up duty.

Well in the Muggle world I am a CNA and going for my LPN License, but in the long run would like to be a Child Psychologist or a Social Worker. So in the wizarding world I would prolly like to be a Healer, but if the have Young Witch/Wizard Psychologists or Social Worker I would love to be that. If they had a Social Worker in the HP books and movies maybe they would have taken Harry out of the Dursley's house.

I think I would like the following jobs:

Teacher at Hogwarts (Charms)
Owner of a candy shop in Hogsmeade.

My candy shop would have Muggle and Wizard candies, and it would be even more awesome than all the stores put together!! No I"m just kidding...

Alot of people are saying aurors. I would love to be an Auror. But if i couldnt get a job as an auror I would have to be a Beater on a professional Quidditch team. I love the game of Quidditch and how it is played. (plus the smacking a flying ball at people sounds cool to.)

I think it would have to do something with fantastic beast, either in the Ministry or in some comunity like Charlie Weasley with dragons, or I'd also would like to be a charms breaker in Gringotts. It'd be cool.

I think I would love to be an auror! It would be fun to set the nargles on the bad guys. Go where I need to go by threstal. Then after I capture the bad guys I can punish them by making them help me find my shoes!
