What Wizard/Witch profession would you like to have?

I might like to be an Auror maybe... I don't know...

I'd like to be a professor at Hogwarts... perhaps of History of Magic or Defense Against the Dark Arts...

Do they have wizard historians? Lol, because I'm a big history nut. I guess I'm an almond or something.....or I'd open up a store called Madam Mahwish's Robes for All Occasions. (Ha, like on HU)

I guess I'd want to play Quidditch...I'd probably suck, but I'd still want to play...a beater because I can't catch or throw...ha. But if I can't do that I'd want to be the Minister of Magic...ha.

I would definently wanna work at St. Mungo's. I wanna become a doctor anyways and working in a wizard hospital will be fun.

Do you think they have wizard spas/salons? Either that or Hogwarts professor, like a cross between Trewlany and Grubby-Plank

Any job in the Ministry would be cool for me though. As long as it's not an office job! I'd like to be on the Reversal Squad (or whatever it's called, I always forget) and modify Muggles' memories, lol.

Oh, I'd think it'd be great to be an Unspeakable! I'd also like to be a DADA, Charms or Transfiguration professor (cliche, huh?) or maybe have a posiition at the Ministry of Magic in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures; Beast, Being and Spirit Division. That's be cool.

Wouldn't mind being a Professor, but only of Charms, DADA, or Transfiguration. Being an Auror might be too much for me, but I'd love to do something else in the Ministry.

I would like to be a Defense Against the Darks Arts teacher. It would be an honor in itself to be a teacher at Hogwarts.

My first option is Auror, it'll very exciting and probably a seeker, I think I wouldn't be good playing quidditch, so I stay with auror.

I think it'd be fun to invent things and then sell them in a shop of mine. Sort of like what Fred and George are doing, but it wouldn't have to be joke stuff.

I would like to be an diplomat that works with representatives from magical creatures...like mermaids and centaurs and goblins and things like that. Merpeople would be cool, I could learn mermish. Oh, and giants. It would be dangerous as all heck but exciting.

I think that it would be cool to be an unspeakable. Or maybe Misuse of muggle artifacts. that would be fun! I would be as bad as Mr Weasley about collecting things.

I'd probably end up working at Flourish and Blotts....or Quality Quidditch supplies. I'm not really much of a hands on person when it comes to working.

In the 'what profession' thread, where we put in our answers and were given a job, I was given 'Wand maker'. I'd never actually considered this, but it would be interesting to be able to make an infinite number of wands using different substances to cater for people's individual personalities. I think it's a great job to have and would be really interesting.

Before that though, I wanted to be a professor teaching DADA and/or Potions I think it would be an area that I'd be able to combine- IE, using Potions to defend against the dark arts- and I'd love the challenge of teaching

If I could have a profession in the wizarding world I would want to be a quidditch player. I think that I would want to play Chaser because that would be a really fun position. If not chaser then I would want to play Keeper.

I'm sure I posted this somewhere before, I'd like to run the Three Broomsticks. I think it would be so cool to be in amongst all the locals, getting to know them, and hearing all the latest gossip Of course it would be a good place to meet guys too I suspect But basically I'm a sociable person, so having Madame Rosmertas job would suit me to a T...

If not that then maybe something involving international relations, though not with the Ministry. I hate the Ministry TBO, I would probably move around a lot from job to job, I get kinda board once the challange has gone out of a job

I know a lot of people would like to be aurors, and to be honest, I'm one of them!

But for an actual profession, similarly to Raz, I would love to own a shop (but not a pub) in Diagon Alley.. maybe something like Olivanders. A place where everyone knows you, respects you etc.

A also got a job from the thread where I described myself and stuff and I was giving a job that suits me perefctly. I have a problem with people, they irritate me too much, I'm not good with authority and I have a bit of a temper. But I am also motherlike to my 5 year old niece, family orientated, intellegent, motivated and caring towards all animals. So this is the job I got and this is the job i'd want:

well my actual job is International Quidditch Keeper, and i think that is one of the jobs that would fit me best. The people who answer those quizes have serious skills.

But before i was even thinking about becoming a keeper, my choice was definately an auror. i just want to do anything in my power to rid the Dark Arts of this world.

I would definatley want to work at Hogwarts. Charms teacher would definately suit me, because I think that I would be good at charms, and teaching would be fun, along with the whole Hogwarts atmosphere.

I'll want to work at Madam Malkin's. Cuz I wanna be a fashion designer when I'm older. *nods* Yea, designing robes for wizards and witches. Maybe I'll probably open a shop myself selling muggle clothes and somehow teaching wizards and witches the best way to dress in front of muggles! *giggles*

Pet Care Center. There could be training classes and how to live with temperamental creatures.

Well, now that McGonagall is Headmistress of Hogwarts, I guess they need me to fill the Transfiguration slot...it is my best magical subject!

Yer i think i would like to be a proffesor at Hogwarts, but if not there perhaps Beuxbatons or Deurmstrang. If not that then maybe opening a shop in Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade selling protective spell gear and outher counter dark arts stuff.

Out of all the wizading professions I know, I would love-being an Unspeakeable in the Department Of Mysteries! Not even being an auror can top that! Knowing the secrets of time,death, and god knows what else-could anything be better? Highly privileged information,more valuable than all the gold in Gringotts! I don't know, i would like to be something adventerious so maybe i would be an auror or a teachers at Hogwarts so i could explore the castle and the forrbiden forest

Even though it's super dangerous, I'd love to work in the Department of Mysteries. As what I don't know...just to be an Untouchable would be awesome.

I think i would be a herbology or divination teacher at hogwarts. I think it would be a fun job and I would make friends with other teachers. I dunno I think both divination and herbology are interesting and not too dangerous like Care of Magical creatures

I would either want to be a healer or a teacher at one of the magical schools. Probably Herbology or divination (but i wouldn't be a fraud..lol)

I'd be a Healer at Saint Mungo's because it is such a hard job, but it's also so rewarding. Plus, you'd get to pry a pair of tongs off of someone's nose!

if i were a Wizard i think i would love to be an Auror because well chasing bad wizards and either sending them to prison or killing them that would be cool to do all pf those spells. or i would like to be a defense against the dark arts teacher because that alwasy seemed cool and the last but not least a pro quidditch player (Chaser).

I want to teach at Hogwarts. Potions, specifically. I love the Potions lessons. It requires understanding of magic rather than merely mastering a spell. Even more so, it requires attention and careful calculations. I am a math guy, so these traits appeal to my personality.

I have to agree that the folks running the sorting quizes are exceptional at the job. My profession came back as a Dragon Keeper, and that is right up my alley. I originally wanted to be Care of Magical Creatures teacher, but now I think it'd be cooler to specialize in one type of animal, like Charlie Weasley. So, I would want to be a dragon keeper.
