I have quite a few. Well, I like Career Advice, then all the chapters when Harry and his friends are dueling the Death Eaters and when sadly, Sirius dies. Then when the book;s almost done, Pr. mcGonnagal lets Peeves borrow her walking stick to chase Umbridge.

my fav chapters are career advice, when professor Mcg. gets mad at Umbridge, and when fred and george escape. i like any chapter with fred and geroge an dumbridge bieng evil.

the chapter with rita is good too.

mines "the lost prophecy", cause you get most of your questions answered and that just brings up more questions! hmmm

My favorite chapter was the "Woes of Mrs. Weasley. I mean, it just shows you in depth Harry's true feeling about Ron and Hermione becoming prefects, and lots of attitude. Also, it's so sweet how her kids (and Harry dying) is what Mrs. Weasley was most afraid of!

I liked "Dumbledore's Army" becuase it shows how much the students respect Harry when they ask him to show them how to learn DADA. It also shows how much they hate Umbridge, and I hate her too.

"Career Advice" was good becuase it showed that McGonagall cares about Harry enough to promise him that he'll become an Auror. I also like the quote where she "disses" Umbridge. It's in my signature if you want to read it.

"The Only One He Ever Feared" was really good becuase it showed Dumbledore's true side. It showed how much he cared for Harry by not striking him down when Voldy took him over, and it showed him kick butt!

my favorite chapter is when mr weasly gets attack cuz' its full of mystery and confusion.

my favorite chapter is Grawp even though i think the whole scene is boring, at the very end when they were singing Weasley is Our King, it makes me so proud and happy to see that Ron is finally getting his big moment.

Another chapter I love is OWLs haha you guessed it, because of when Ron was messing his hair and it reminded Harry of James Potter, that was so wicked

The best chapters are surely:

Dumbledore's army: it's really cool reading how they practis Dada under Umbridge's own nose and how they organise to do it.
Careers advice: i love it when Mc gonagall starts shouting at umbridge
Owls: this is great when it tells you how harry gets on with his exam and i love the part when umbridge and company tries to fight hagrid

I like SWM because it gives us information on how awful Snape's life used to be, and why he is the way he is now...

I like TOOHEF because, well, theres a duel between Dumbledoor and Voldemort, what could be cooler?

i should say that i simply love the department of mysteries chapter as well as beyond the veil! it really hits my heart and hypohtalamus response! it doesn't really mean that i like what happened to sirius but i like the chapter because it is where the readers are all affected by the scenes...

i love the book so much, all of it.

but i have to say my favourite chapter is...bugger...i don't remember what it's called...y'know, after harry kisses cho. that chapter rocks. wait a sec *goes and looks for OotP, flips quickly through book* here it is! middle of 'eye of the snake' that part is so good. i also love 'the lost prophecy', because we see so much emotion between harry and DD, and its just very well written adn great to read, and so... lovely (for want of a better word)

The Centaur and the Sneak, definitely! This is when Dumbledore makes his great escape --- "You seem to be laboring under the delusion that I am going to - what is the phrase? 'Come quietly.' I am afraid I am not going to come quietly at all, Cornelius. I have absolutely no intention of being sent to Azkaban. I could break out, of course - but what a waste of time, and frankly, I can think of a whole host of things I would rather be doing."

Wonderful stuff. There's a lot of other fun stuff in this chapter as well, I really love it.

My favorite Order of the Phoenix chapter was definitely Dumbledore's Army....The DA was a great invention and I loved the meetings! I also thought that it was funny that they were doing this in the RoR behind Umbridge's back hehe...

I think that Harry is a great DADA teacher and he should reunite the members of the DA for Book 7 !!!

My favorite chapter would have to be 'The noble and the most acient house of black.' since sirius is my favorite character (too bad he died), i think knowing things about him makes me understand whats his personality is really like.

My favourite chapter was - and is- as you can easily guess "Snape's Worst Memory".

Before the OotP came out, I wasn't sure if Snape was popular or unpopular as a teenager. Now I know that he had a tough life and it led me to understand why an adult Snape is who he is. In fact, I know Snape-ish people in a real life... *sigh*

This chapter was simply great. I wish Jo would write more about the Marauder Era, including Snape.

Second chapter I adore is this chapter where Harry penetrates Snape's mind and sees a crying boy and so on. It's so touching. Both Harry's and Snape's childhood must have been terrible.

My favorite chapter is definitely "The Lost Prophecy" I think that it just brings together like everything from OotP and some of the other books as well. I also think that it shows that Dumbledore, who is like All-Mighty, does have his flaws, and they have come to hurt Harry, although really, if Harry had just learned occlumency from Snape, then there wouldnt be a problem. But if you had just read that chapter, in the beginning, before you even read the HP books, then they would make more sense lol.

I really enjoyed this book. I guess my favorite chapters would have to be:

I really liked the end and where all the action was! I would have to say I loved the Lost Prophecy. It was a big turning point and as well as being very touching it made you think and learn more about Harry!

My favorite chapter is Dumbledore's Army. Followed closely by the Lost Prophecy. Dumbledore's Army is my favorite chapter because I like how Harry teaches the members. To me he seems like a really good teacher. The Lost Prophecy is one of my favorites because of all the information that is gives and all the questioins it answers.

Ahhhh the best chapter of OotP would have to be the Only one he ever feared, when DD comes striding in taking charge.... oh it givves me goosebumps to think of DD dueling with LV so casually and calling him Tom too, while having a conversation!!!! I love it!

The best OotP chapter for me is the one where they are having the massive fight in the DoM before DD comes. I can't remember the name of it just now (grabs book and checks the chapter name) Oh yes i should have remembered it as it is my username! Beyond the Veil, that's my favourite chapter. I love the big battle and when Harry and co are trying to escape the Death Eaters by running through the DoM.The action is great. It's so exciting and tense.

I actually have a few favourite chapeters in OotP, like chapeter 28- Snape's Worst Memory 18 Dumbledore's Army 11 The Sorting Hat;s New Song and 10 Luna Lovegood

I liked Dumbledores Army formation, The battle in the DoM, The Sorting Hats New Song. Snapes worst memory. Nagini/Harry attacking Mr.Weasley, I like the whole book. Im reading it over. I also like the Dudley Demented Chapter.

Harry Potter OotP is my favorite book of the series so I have lots of fave chapters.A few are:chapter 35-Beyond the Veil
chapter26-Seen ans Unforeseen(the truth is finally out!)
chapter 4-Number 12,Grimmauld Place(let the anger out,Harry)

I also like the part when they cause mayhem for Umbridge(hehe)

I also like the DA meetings and when they are caught by Umbridge.Not that I'm happy they got caught but I'm glad Hermione put that jinx on the list of names.

I like it also when Ron has his first real wonderful game of Quidditch.Too bad Harry wasn't on the team then.


Oh, and Snape's worst memory is very good.
I'm almost finished reading it over.I'm on page 846, chapter 38-The Second War Begins.I also like this chapter.

my favorite chapter is also Snape's Worst Memory. it's my favorite chapter from any of the books. in my opinion, jkr should write a whole other series on siruis, james, and severus growing up.

Well, it is my favourite book of all the others and the parts I liked the most was when Umbridge catches them in a DA meeting, when Fred and George drop out and the First Chapter, I was simply amazed during those pages! So many things that weren't supposed to happen do in that chapter.

When Sirius and the rest of the OOTP came in and started rolling on the death eaters in the DoM...

And second is the fireworks.

It is so hard for me to chose one.
If i had to chose though i guess i would pick Dumbledores Army.
I loved every bit of this chapter!

Oh my goodness! I can not possibly choose only one! I love the entire book! But if I must choose one, I guess I can try!

My favorite parts were- the formation of the DA, anything and everything with Sirius in it (except, you know, that part ), and the mayem with Fred and George. I also liked after all of them came back from the Ministry and Dumbledore had his little "chat" with Harry. That was so sweet!

My favorite is definitely "Snape's Worst Memory." It shows how cruel Harry's father and godfather were to young Severus. He obviously had a very rough time at Hogwarts, and his graying underpants make me think that he did not come from a wealthy home. Poor Snape .

Snape's Worst Memory: The only time you see James,Sirius,Lupin,Peter and Snape all together so young, and seeing how their lives were like was fun to read!

Careers advice : Mcgonagall giving Umbridge a mouthful was hilarious.

The Ministry of Magic: You get to see inside the ministry when Harry and mr weasley go for the hearing, and I liked finding out that it had fountains,talking elevators, etc.

The sorting hat's new song: Love its lyrics everytime!

I completely agree with who ever posted this. I agree. My favorite is The Lost Prophecy because of all the emotion. Harry was just so, so, frightened and mad. The first stage of Grief.

Definitely the chapter where Harry has his first DADA lesson and is totally telling off Umbridge. I couldn’t believe how much of an idiot she was being. Uggghh despicable.

My favorite is by far Snape's Worst Memory. I love it whenever I hear about Harry's parent's when they were younger or James and his friends. I love stuff like that. It's so cool and they have some funny things in that chapter. I love the 5 ways to identify a werewolf quote. I also love how once Harry puts his head in teh fire later on he tells Lupin and Sirius about what he saw and they reminisce about it laughing and smilling. I'm full of love for that chapter it's by far my favorite.

i love this whole book and i have so many favorite parts in this book that its hard to choose...

i love Snape's Worst Memory because it shows that james and sirius hated snape as much as he says thay did and it shows loads of other small things that harry will remember forever like james mucking up his hair because he thought it looked cool and how his mum hated his dad even though they got married in the end and they called each other by their sirnames and how lily stopped james and sirius from annoying snape but he called her a mudblood

I liked the chapters The Department of Mysteries, Beyond The Veil and The Lost Prophecy because they are very exciting and action packed!!

I also like Snape's Worst Memory because it's really funny because i like James and Sirius and i hate Snape so it was good to read about James and Sirius to sort of bully him!! Not that i agree with bullying!!

It's always hard for me to pick any one single episode in the books and claim it to be the best. I would have to agree with the others who have said "Career Advice" is my favorite chapter. We get to see Umbridge get her "comeuppance" as Fred and George (once known as Gred and Feorge) give the command to Peeves to keep on devilling Umbridge. Also the fact of the swamp and Filch having to row students across it etc. Anytime a "baddie" gets theirs, I love it!

Oh god, i had trouble picking one out from HBP ... now let's see ... i liked Snape's worst memory, as it had the marauders in it.

I liked also the chapter when Umbridge is Headmisstress and everyone is creating chaos and all sorts, just for heer *Smiles sweetly, then hits Umbrdge with a hex from behind* Grrr ... Umbridge ...

The DoW chapters are exciting and sad, and i also like the chapter when DD tells Harry everything, because it's just so emotional and you find out pretty much everything!

i loved them all but i think my favorite is Career advice because it was super funny to see mcgonagall fight with the toad aka umbridge and plus because i love the twins! and their wonderful "line give her hell peeves!" i loved that chapter! i also loved snapes worse memory because we got to see a bit about the marauders! plus it was fun to read about snape being mistreated! no more than he deserved!

My favorite chapter iz Flight and Fight because Umbridge gets what she deserves and Potter and the rest go to the Ministry of Magic.

My favorite characters/character in OOTP is Dumbledores Army because it contained the people that where cool and that Army consist of people Neville, Hermione, Ron, Luna, and Harry of course and there all my favorite characters and they had the coolest part with the magic spells, and the wands its really awesome.
