Well, everyone hates Voldemort right? But I am re-reading the Order of the Phoenix again and I am gaining a very big dislike for Professor Umbridge I don't know why maybe all the other times I read it, she didn't seem as bad but I have found a great hate for her. And same with Fudge, he is horribly stubborn in a bad way and he is only thinking for himself. Ugh! he makes me so mad. And I"m sorry to say to all you Draco likers but I do not like him at all. I kindof felt sorry for him in the HBP but I hate all his rude comments in the other books and stuff.

i want harry to die. i HATE him. (although i am on his side and not voldemorts)

he rally is useless and can achieve nothing on his own. hermione, ron, hagrid and dumbledor were always there to either save him or guide him in the direction he has to take. (eg: in the 1st book, hermione is the one to discover the book about flemming, she solved every obstacle that came in their way, such as the green plant or whatever, the potions etc. in other books as well: the polyjuice potion, the snake and the mirror...ron was the one who won the chess tournament,hagrid, dobby and the fake mad eye moody practicaly did all the work for him in the GoF (dragon, underwater thing, bubble bath, hexing other contestants aka krum) dumbledor does all the work conserning the horcruxes. thank god he's dead, now MAYBE harry will figure out something on his own.)

i also forgot to mention:

-without lupin harry would never be able to have a patronus
-who saves harry at the end od Ootp when he faces voldy? dumbledor!
-the Weasley twins provide harry with the map
- it is hermione with the help of dumbledor who uses the time turner to help harry. it really should have been the hermione series. a book about a muggle who defeats the dark lord!

I have to agree with megan_de_lioncourt, Cho Chang is quite irritating, and Umbridge is EVIL!! lol! I'm not too fussed on Dobby either, he can be a bit annoying sometimes... Only a little bit though. And Percy is a bit pompous.

I think percy is as pompous as they come, but i would like him to make up with them all in the deathly hallows and maybe swallow his pride abit!!

I hate Lockhart! He was so abnoxios and stupid in the second book, although I can't wait to see him now in the fifth movie when he's in St.Mungo's with no memory! Ha ha

I also can't stand Percy. He is such an idiot. He really does need to swallow some pride. I still hope he turns himself around for the seventh book because he wasn't that bad at the beginning of the series.

Hmm... It depends what you mean by the "least favorite character" -- do you mean the one that you think who is the worst person, who is the least enjoyable to read about, who is the most pointless, or who is the least well-written?

Personally, I hate PEEVES. He grates on my nerves, and I find him utterly purposeless. I do not find him amusing in the least.

I would have to say Voldemort!I mean,...pure evil,right?He is to blame for so many deaths of innocent people and he doesn't even regret doing them.I think it's quite rational,isn't it?

I'd have to say Cornelius Fudge. He's just a dweeb, isn't he.

My Least Favourite Harry Potter character would have to be divided between
Dolores (toad face) Umbridge need i really tell you why .
Gilderoy (dumb..) Lockhart, because he must be the biggest prat ever .
Bellatrix Lestrange, because she killed Sirius and what she did to Neville`s parents .
Pansy Parkinson, because she is really stupid (you will see what i mean later) .

my least favorite charachters are... Fudge, he's a complete idiot, Cho, too whiny and clingy.
But the worst character in my opinion is wormtail. Whiny, backstabbing, pathetic, clingy idiot.

probably either profeesor trewlawny or the death eaters! trewlawney very different, even though i feel bad for her in Ootp, nd the death eaters are just so dumb! i mean, i dont like voldemort, but still, the death eates are just as stupid!

well the one I hate the most is Bellatrix Lestrange. Shes so stupid trying to be Voldys favorite First she tortured Naville's parents, then killed Sirius and then Dobby She deserved what she got. But there are also annoying characters but there are to many to mention

Starting with Dolores Umbridge, Lucius Malfoy, Bellatrix Lestrange, Sirius' Mother, Wormtail, and of course Voldemort, but sometimes I feel sorry for him rather than hatred...

I always despised Bellatrix Lestrange, for killing Sirius, Draco Malfoy, for being a stupid prat, and Lord Voldemort for killing poor Muggles and Cedric *cries*

Cho.... I don't like her one bit!! She's just too whiney and crybabyish for me!!! I can't stand her at all!! But besides her.. I hate Voldy (of course), Bella (Psychotic, Cruel, Killer of Sirius), Wormtail (He as good as killed Lily and James), and Umbridge (for the obvious reasons... stupid old toad)!!!

I hate Umbridge just her fake smile and her attitude really get me.Besides her Gilderoy Lockhart he was so stupid and took credit for things he didn't do and that really annoys me.Cho is another character I don't like I mean she is such I don't know.I just don't like her.

I dislike her because she does wicked things but claims to do it for the good. She pretends to be all nice and stuff but really she's just as bad as a Death Eater (or worse than some)

It's bad enough that she sends dementors after Harry and comes close to torturing Harry and his friends with the cruciatus curse, but her excuse it that she does it in the name of justice or whatever, and it doesn't help that she has ministry backing.

I don't like Cho because she's so pathetic. Not sure why I don't like Ginny, I just don't. The Malfoy's rule. Umbridge is horribly cruel but brilliantly written. Fudge is an idiot.

I don't like Ginny either for reasons i have already explained in other threads.I just don't like her character at all.

I agree with you about Fudge.He's ignorant about Voldemort in OOTP and he frankly wasn't a very good minister and i was glad when he was sacked

There's only really two characters i never liked, which i think JK intended for her readers not to like .

1) Would have to be Umbridge like most people, she's just pure evil but beleives she's an angel.

2) Second person has to be Fudge, how he got Minister for Magic i'll never know, he got on my nerves by going against Harry and Dumbledores word when the facts were right infront of his eyes.

She's very well written but so easy to hate!! If I would ever come across anyone like her in my life, I don't know what I would do to her but I promise it won't be pretty!!
Lucius and Bellatrix are quite nasty too... but Umbridge is supposed to be on the good side, but she's just cruel by nature!!

there are quite few characters that i don't like but though they were the part of the plot that makes reading harry potter much more interesting.
some of them that i don't like but not in any particular order
1. wormtail. the bad egg in the marauders, who sold his friends to voldermort, without him there will be no story because voldermort will not know where to find the potters
2. umbridge, the hag whose only difference from the death eaters was she doesn't have the dark mark branded on her left arm, though she was worst than some of them, but it is great a read. how the trio rebelled under her very nose haha dumbledore's army
3. fudge, his point-blank stupidity to accept that voldermort is back indeed
4. greyback, what he did to those poor kids, including lupin. but then we will not have the marauders.
some of the most dislike characters wil always be there because their contribution to the books make them more interesting and richer.

I can't STAND Lavender Brown! I think she's really annoying and needs to get a life, if she's going to call a guy "Won-Won". Plus, she gave him... a locket, wasn't it?

And even after everyone thinks hes an idiot he just keeps making more of a fool of himself when he performs more medocre spells! He really bugs me. Jk said that she did base any of her chacters off of real people that she knows, except for Gilderoy Lockhart. Isnt that crazy!?!?!? i think it is...

I do not have a hated character in Harry Potter, I love all of them YES even the villans! Because each character has something to add to the story to make it more exciting if I had to pick any of them though ( which i dont really like too) I would pick rons Auntie Muriel, shes a little annoying

Crabbe and Goyle are the ones I hate. They lack personality, and are always trailing after Draco. I like good enemies, like Snape, or even Bellatrix (who I think is in love with Voldemort), even Umbridge (because like someone before said, she's unique) and even Rita Skeeter has her style, but Crabbe and Goyle... They're just big bullies who wouldn't dare move if Draco wasn't around.

Ginny coz she messed up most things.
Bellatrix Lestrange coz she killed Sirius.

There are a lot more bad guys but I hate the above the most.

The characters I hate most are Bellatrix and Fenrir Greyback!

I really can`t stand Bellatrix for being so twisted and evil! She kills without remorse and is sadistic.

Fenrir Greyback is a monster, there is no other word to express it! >< It`s his fault dear Lupin had to suffer so much since he was a kid!
