webs2009
definetly Dolores Umbridge, Rita Skeeter and Bellatrix Lestrange....i was reding a couple of them and not many said Voldemort....hmmm do some people pitty him instead of loathing him?
BasiliskFang
I agree webs2009 but some people may pity Voldemort for what he has been through. I don't pity him one bit for his actions especially towards Harry's and Neville's parents. I also loathe Dolores Umbridge for reasons too numerous to count. One of the main reasons I despise her is that she has the nerve to interrupt Albus during his speech and she is a horrible woman all over. I laughed so hard that I almost cried when she was taken by the centaurs! Heeheee! woot.gif

Umbridge: She is just plain evil, I don't see anything interesting in her. And I hate everything she does.

James: In the first books I liked him, but you didn't know so much then, just what his freinds said and what Harry thought. Now you know a bit more about him, not much but a little, and I don't like it. I hate how he was at school (first anyway), even if it was in Snapes memory. He was like Malfoy is (but I like Draco, he is interesting and has something behind what everyone sees). Maybe I don't like him, beacuse he didn't was like I thought he was.

Umbridge Hands Down. Who does she thinks she is?
this be jasmine(:
Umbridge. I hate her. Ha, I never really hated Voldemort. I was just kind of like "Ew. Stop trying to kill Harry and go away." But with Umbridge, I hated her, right from the start. Even if her quill-thing was an awesome weapon, her fakeness bothered me so much. And she's just a generally hate-able character.

I would have to say Umbrigde or Ginny. Umbrigde for reasons already explained and Ginny just annoys me. Though I admitt my annoyance with her is a very petty reason.
MrBubbles
My most hated character is Umbridge no quesion about it, I hated her since the first page she appeared in and I´ve done so ever since.

Rita Skeeter comes a close second though.

Voldemort
(Oh My God) mad.gif

First : He has no conscience

Second: How many people has he killed?!? huh.gif

Third: He remains woefully ignorant toward any creature that is not a wizard.

Fourth: His conceitedness will never cease! sleep.gif

Five: He ripped his soul to pieces. Does he not see the power of a soul that is untarnished and whole?

Sixth: He killed his own Father for Pete's sake! His own flesh and blood!

Seventh: He doesn't understand that he's probably the only one who can't kill Harry! wacko.gif

This list could go on forever!

Are you kidding me? Voldemort has to be one of the greatest villains of all time! For that reason alone I can't hate him. Sure he is...well, a lousy half-bloody maniac with no sense of style and a petty vendetta against a small boy who did nothing to him in the first place (Hello, if you want to blame someone, blame yourself! You're the one who was stupid enough to try and get a mother to abandon her child. *rolls eyes* Not going to happen! rolleyes.gif ) But the way he's been written and the actions he takes and just the pure power he emits from the page is just too much for me to ignore. As far as I'm concerned he was a brilliant creation.

The character that I like least would have to be a big toss up between Zacharias Smith or Cormac McLaggen. McLaggen is just plain sleazy and Smith is just plain annoying. I have a feeling that JK wanted it that way so I'm not going to complain here but you have to admit, out of all the characters that she created, they are quite possibly the least developed and hopelessly dense. It took McLaggen how long to notice that Hermione was only using him to get back at Ron? wacko.gif *thinks* actually...I don't think he did.
And it took Smith how long to finally realize that Harry wasn't an idiot crying out for attention? *scratches head* again, I don't think he did...at least not until it was publicly announced and he fell into line like everyone else.

The point is that they're both complete idiots and if its one thing I hate it's idiocy. So there's my choice for least favourite characters.

Sorry for the rant and thank you for the opportunity to speak lol.

I havn't got very far in the books yet but so far i really don't like Malfoy.
I don't like the dersley's very much either. i better get farther before i can tell who i really like and who i don't. smile.gif

I don't like Pansy Parkinson!!! If I met someone like her, I'd get really upset because she'd annoy me so much. But then there's the Dursleys...they're so cruel and bahh it's almost unrealistic. I would love to just yell at them and throw insults at them...
I also don't like Lucius Malfoy all that much.
kawaii_hp14
Umbridge definitely. She has such a big ego and tries to ruin Hogwarts repeatedly. Not to mention that she is as annoying as it gets. Another thing is that she just tries to be so nice and kind, but it's like a twisted kind of nice. She's just an all-around fake person.

Rita Skeeter is annoying too though. The way she just buts her head into every little conversation... UGH!

Of course there are characters we don't like (in every book or movie there are), but I think they make the books more interesting. I say that because they can make you hate them, and if you are capable of such extreme feelings when you read a book, the writer did a really good job. Besides, if there were no annoying or bad character, a lot of events wouldn't occur.
Anyway, I'm babbling. I can't stand Lavender (I think the movie made me hate her), Lucius Malfoy (I usually like negative characters if they are intelligent, but he just seems too arrogant) and even Molly Weasley ****es me off sometimes, she is overprotective. I don't like Ginny too much either, but I can't say I hate her or anything. Of course, there are several minor characters I don't like, but I don't go with the flow and dislike Voldemort, Draco and so on.
Ginevra Molly Weasley
Oh... For me, it has to be Percy. I know he doesn't show much in the series, but every time he does I want to just slap him for how he treats his family. He is so lucky that he was born to a family of loving people, because I certainly wouldn't forgive him if he insulted my beliefs and didn't even acknowledge his mistakes when it was obvious he was wrong.

I wish I could say that I hated McLaggen or Umbridge, but the thing is, I really love to hate them! I mean, I hate them, but it's in a way that's almost adoring of how vile they are.

Zachariah and Toad-bridge methinks.

Zach for being an absolute twit for turning traitor. What kind of stupid logic was it to tell on the toad upon activities that benefited not only his friends but also himself.. Dunno whether it was sheer cowardice or stupidity to blame for this.. Even considering he's supposed to be in Ravenclaw...

Unbudge for just being sickly sweet, putting on airs of being overly nice.. She's a witch (muggle-insult) and a tortuous executioner! Something about her... It's like meeting Jason/Freddy in Snow White's dress.. Something about that, sickly sweet not from being super nice.. just.. freaky..

Edit: Sorry, just found from reading Luna's commentary over in "Funniest Lines" that Zachy's in Hufflepuff..

What a way to let the whole house down... (Me and Zach). Sorry guys!

Worse than being Slytherin! (Sorry Slythies! We Gryffins like you really wink.gif ). Wished people would hex Zach more often in the book, just for being in league with the Toad.
