This started happening around 2 weeks ago or something like that. Its hard to explain, but whenever I enter the forum and only the forum, no where else on veritaserum, these walking footprints starting... walking around my screen. They walk up and down, and sometimes they walk fast or slow, and the distance of footprints they leave behind varies as well.

Is it normal? I never noticed it before until 2 weeks ago.

It didn't work for me with those ** at the side. At first it didn't work at all, but I noticed I didn't type it with a capital now it works,

Just to keep this thread uptodate. The footprints code has been disabled after bad responces from many members of the public at large.

I loved the code, though, it was a tad irritiating. Never-the-less it wasn't my decission to get rid of it, so don't blame me.

I for one am glad those muddy footprints are no longer appearing on my screen. It was so hard to type a post with them moving about. They were annoying! Once, I just let them fill up my screen completely, just to see if it would do it. I had nothing better to do that afternoon!

So, thanks to whomever finally yanked them!

Oh no! I thought they were cool! It was just a bit hard to read the posts. I actually thought it was a bug in the computer because it kept crashing. Then again, that's probably my fault...!

*sniff* I'm really going to miss the foot prints. It was one of things about the site that first attracted me to it. You guys just thought of everything to make this a Harry Potter space! And I haven't known snuffles very long, but I'm going to miss him too *sob* I had loads of fun with that other one too that you PM'd me. I bet you had more of them huh? Oh well *sigh* The end of an era.

I can understand some people didn't appreciate the footprints. But I really did. That was another mark of our admins wonderful creativity, and I will miss it. Is it possible to place a feature that can allow visitors to either have footprints or not to?

I concur with Tuitus, and everyone else who were for the footprints. I really loved and appreciated them. I definitely thought that was a creative, interactive one-up we had over other fansites.

Oh well, majority always rules I guess...fair enough.

Sorry to all those of you who hated the footprints, but I for one thought they were great! They added a little something that other forums don't have.

I really miss the foot prints

One time, out of the one thousand posts I have up, the foot prints actually got under my type so I couldn't key something in for about a second ... that was it. Doesn't seem enough of a problem to get rid of them to me.

I'm all for bringing them back! Especially snuffles. I believe it was one of those things that set us apart from the pack, and I'm willing to fight for it. Darren, who's decision was it to do away with the foot prints?

In the meantime, if you'd care to join S.P.I.M.F. (the Society for the Protection of Ingenious Muddy Footprints) please put a sentence in your sig Power to the people!

However, I missed out on *snuffles* and I'm so curious...I've sat here typing (snuffles, snuffles, snuffles) and nothing happens.
