That would be awful. There would be no story then. No sense of purpose. No idea of good and evil. There would be no Harry Potter. Only Lord Voldemort Two In Training Please Do Not Touch. What would be the story then? Would Harry take lesson from Voldie or would they still battle except when Harry wins things get even worse? Who would step in to take his place? Who would defeat Voldie? I would prefer not to think of this. Ever.

honestly i think the story would be something like this with Harry Potter being evil and with his extrodinary powers i think slytherin and voldy would take over the school alot sooner than when they tried. the hero of the story would then be when gryffindor, ravenclaw and hufflepuff come together and take slytherin and voldy down. what do u think?

Oh, this is the perfect thread! I have always thought about this. My sister and I have even brainstormed on how things would have happened instead. I even thought about writing a fan fic about it but lazy me never got to it. You see, Harry would have been sorted into Slytherin and he and Draco would have become best friends. He and Ron would have been enemies. Harry would have been very similar to Voldemort but still not one of his followers. They still would have been rivals.
In his first year, he still would have searched for the Philosopher's Stone but not because he wanted to give it to LV but because he wanted to use it himself.
In his second year, Harry would have been the one instead to open the Chamber of Secrets.
In his third year, he still would have went through the experience of finding out how his parents really died and that Sirius is his Godfather. Wormtail would have died in this book though (Harry kills him, yes, he murders at an early age).
In his fourth year, he would have been the one to put his name in the Goblet of Fire and compete as the fourth champion. He would have also ended up in the grave yard thanks to Moody (Barty Crouch Jr.) and fought Voldemort, but this time Cedric would not have died becuase he wouldn't even be there.
In his fifth year, he still would have went to the DoM but not to save Sirius just purely on his own selfish reasons to find out what the prophecy says.
In his sixth year, he still would have went to the cave with Dumbledore. Dumbledore has a soft spot thinking that although Harry hadn't been the best of kids that he still could save the wizarding world from Voldemort. Snape wouldn't have to kill Dumbledore because Dumbledore would have died eventually due to the ring's curse on his hand.
In his seventh year, he doesn't return to Hogwarts but searches for Voldemort's horcruxes. Voldemort would have eventually got wind of what Harrry was doing and flee to Hogwarts in an attempt to protect one of his last horcruxes, the diadem. Harry wouldn't be an horcrux either and he would eventually destroy all of Voldemort's hocruxes and then Voldemort himself. He rises to power and takes LV's place as the dictator of the wizarding world but unfortunately his reign would be very short becuase he dies in battle against Ron, Neville, and Hermione. Ron and Hermione get married and Neville and Ginny get married and all live happily ever after.
