I agree that that wouldbe kinda cute,but I think you're forgetting that Hedwig likes to think of herself as "superior" to Pig, and Pig would probably be even smaller than the size of Hedwig's babl owl!lol

Sweet but I think Hedwig would prefer Hermes. He is more on her level. Pig just annoys her and I think he would be better suited to Crookshanks. She does purr to him afterall.......

Cutest thing in the world! I cannot tell you strongly enough how much I am for this ship. I think I would have to compare their relationship to the ship of Hermione/Ron, due to Hermione's rather sterness (kind of like Hedwig) and Ron's somewhat irratic reliability (kind of like Pig). They would fall in love as opposites but be drawn together all the stronger because of their differences. I need a life.

Or, as Hedwig does belong to Harry, it can represent an existential facet of his and Ron's relationship...beyond whatever pretext exists

yeah it would be really funny and cute but i think hedwig thinks pigwidgeon is to annoying and giddy. but i do like the idea. but i like the idea of pigwidgeon and arnold the pygmy puff getting together. that would be cute.

You know what, I would not be the least bit surprised if Jo pushed this one at us. Of course, with no relational buildup or a background to it or anything....but there is bound to be a few chapters devoted to ships and relationships, and I would think it would be great if we see Hedwig and Pig sitting together in the corner. Maybe with a wing around each other's shoulder .....That would be great! lol.

Aww, this ship is so adorable! I think that Hedwig would be more likely to go for Hermes, but I think that everybody needs some love. Maybe if Hedwig has children or makes a new friend, Harry can ask her to recriut other owls to poke out Voldemort's eyes! But what am I thinking, the last battle is going to super complicated. Just thought it would be fun to dream up ways to kill Voldemort.

Aww What a ship. I'm surprised I didn't find this earlier. I think that would be the cutest thing to have Hedwig and Pig fall in love. They're such great characters in the books. It would add lots of contrast between their characters. The have such opposite personalities.

You have Hedwig who is the 'Queen', if you will, of what she lives. And then you have Pig who is the teeny weeny () owl who's clumsy and a heck load more energetic than Hedwig.

Yeah, Hedwig is proud, and fiercly loyal to Harry, so I think when a new owl came and was showing off to Harry she got jelous and dissaproved of it. But you never know, anything is possible. They could hook up

Hedwig always seemed to resent pig a bit. Or at least that is what I thought. Because he was too hyper for her, but who am I to say Jo won't make it so?

It would be disgustingly adorable. But regardless of how much you want it to happen, I don't see it coming to pass. As someone stated previously, Hedwig's got a pompous heir about her. And Pig, is just, well, a tennis ball with feathers.

It's like breeding royalty with the town drunk. Not going to happen.

Besides, the proportions are so off, that if they ever tried to have baby owls, the mechanics of it would just be so, off...

This would be the cutest thing ever!! I can just see Hedwig being sort of motherly with Pigwidgeon, feeding him out of her beak and stuff...if only Pigwidgeon was more her size.
Well I suppose all we can imagine now is that they had a bit of a romance in the Owlery at Hogwarts while their owners weren't around, and Hedwig only pretended that Pig annoyed her!

Hedwig would probably teach Pig how to be a proper delivery owl haha, she'd be a hard owl to date. Pig would have to stop bobbing around all the time.

That would be cute! Haha, I just got thinking. I think the perfect one for Pigwidgeon though, would have to be Errol (the Weasley's family owl). He's always slamming into things and Pig is just as bad! Unless they're both male (Pig and Errol) then it wouldn't work out at all, but it's just a thought!!!

I was at Skansen(if you don't know what it is read this) yesterday and I saw a snowy owl. It was so cute. I want to have one too...

But I couldn't look at it for so long, 'cause my sister wanted to see the bears.

But I bought a stuffed snowy owl, that I named Hedwig. So she will never be dead.

This is a little odd but okay! I don't even know how to pronounce Pigwidgeon... does anybody? Any way... I think that would be cute even though they are owls...

It sounds really cute but I dont think it would look right bearing in mind that pig is about half the size of Hedwig. And Hedwig often seems rather annoyed by Pigs constant, demented twittering. And don't owls usually go for owls their own breed?
