After reading that article that Farah wrote...I'd would have to say that I think there is a reason behind the different quality of writing between the first 4 books and the 5th one. I think there are reasons that Rowling wrote the story like this, not only to keep readers interested but also because Harry, too, is growing up and going though that teen-rage that all of us do or eventually will. Harry is going though a change and so is the story. I know there are hints that make it seem like Rowling rushed through writing the 5th book. I myself wouldnt say its one of my favorites in the series, but I think maybe when we read the last page of the final 7th book, it will make us all go ,"OOhhhh, now I understand!" Or perhaps that is not what Rowling is going for....could it be true that not all of the questions will be answered??? Could Harry for once and for all defeat Voldemort(ahem...excuse me You-Know-Who lol) or could Voldemort finally kill Harry Potter and gain the power that he always so eagerly waited for? Couldit be that either of them succed?

One evening a very close friend of mine was watching a show about J.K. Rowling and the HP series. She said that Rowling appeared very excited about the final book, and it is believed that the only way Harry can defeat Voldemort was if Harry died along with him. (Kind of makes you go... blink.gif doesnt it?)

I know Farah's will hate this when I say it, but her last article (Other Religions Speak Out), it didn't have a Muslim perspective. She used ancient Egyptians (who weren't Muslims) to provide an argument.
Now if had mentioned that they passed some traditions down to current Muslims, then that may be a valid argument but (as far as I know), there aren't any.

By the way, Farah, I'm grumblebum biggrin.gif , in case you wanted to know.

i think people try to put to much emphasis on the so called "religious side " of HP and let it get to them
