my top ten is the following:

-the whole 2nd chapter with Narcissa, Snape and Bella
-the last 2 pages of the book. i really hope they wont change the dialogues. it is too perfect to be changed
-Draco and his "human side" (basicly the Sectumsempra chapter)
-DD arriving at the Dursleys
-Christmas at the Burrow (thoug its really likely that it will be cut)
-Lupin and Tonks at the end (the whole hospital wing scene should stay)
-the cave and the inferis
-Harry chasing Snape throughout Hogwarts
-Hermione attacking Ron with the canaris (i wish they cut all the snogging, but please i wanna see this scene so desperately)
-Luna Q commentary

Ooh, the Sectumsempra spell, no competition. And the ending, of course...I really want to see Malfoy doing *real* evil... Aw, and the bits where he cries, obviously... I love a man who's in touch with his emotions.

That's pretty much it actually. Wasn't much else in this book that really fired the imagination...

Just as long as they leave the mushy stuff out. Or provide me with a sick bag in the cinema - either option is good for me really.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing Harry put Snape in his place in the DADA class--I've never liked the guy.

Sectumsempra should be pretty nice, too. I wonder how they'll do it while still making it a movie that most younger HP fans can still see.

I hope they do the "I am with you" and the "Dumbledore's man through and through" scenes well, also.

I also want to see the 'I am with you' and 'Dumbledore's man through and through'. Of course, they can't cut the funeral, so I'm anxious to see that as well. I'm probably gonna start crying once I see that part

I'd love to see when the Prime Minister gets a visit from Fudge and Scrimgeour. I wonder, if they do that scene, who they'll cast as the minister.. Well, they shouldn't show that scene just for looks; it's important as well. We get to know more about the disasters the DE's are doing, and how bad it's affecting the Muggle world.

Ah, Luna's commentary! I can exactly imagine that. Her head's usually turned to McGonagall, but her eyes are glued to the field. Her eyelids half closed, with that dreamy look on her face, as if she didn't care about anything. The world's at peace..when suddenly, out of nowhere, she says the most funniest things, and people start bursting up. Ah well..

Hmm..can't think of any more right now, just the most important stuff. Oh, and the little ball they have for Slughorn's members. It's really not that important, but I'd like to see it.

Oh! I wish I had the book here with me for this post, but have to do from memory...

- The Prime Minister scene will probably be cut, but it would be fun if Tony Blair was in it (yeah, I KNOW it was really Major!)

I'm really looking forward to the scene where Ginny and Harry hook up because I'm a huge Hr/G shipper. I also want to see the sectumsempra scene along with DD when he's drinking the wierd potion in the cave. I can't even imagine DD acting like that on screen (well I kind of can with Michael Gambon, but not Richard Harris).

I simply can not wait to see Dumbledore sit down with Harry in the beginning and really set the mood. Having the Dursely's sitting there, all uncomfortable, would be a great start.

I, of course, would love for all the goopy, bubble gum romance, to be cut. I hope they actually play up the Tonks/Lupin love affair more in the movie than the book. It would be great to see that.

The cave scene would be a great piece of work too. Tha could be made to be so fantastic looking. And of course, the end. The flight of the prince and the lightening struck tower. Ohh....can't wait to see those.

I really am excited to see the seen where snape kills dumbledore and where harry heses malfoy with snape's spell. I think those are goin to be really intense scenes and I can't wait to see them both!

- DADA class, the relationship between Snape and Harry ("yes sir"scene)
- Potions class, the HBP book has to be mentioned here.

- The part in Hogsmeade with Draco, and a bit the Weasley twins promoting their "Instant Darkness Powder". I really want to see Fred & George again!.

I want to see everything I don’t want them to cut anything. The sixth book is my favourite and I would be very disappointed if they cut a hole bunch out.

I was rereading HBP last night, and while i was reading the part, when Ginny and Ron were arguing it came to my mind that what a wonderful scene it could be in the movie. You know, Ginny and Ron fighting (not litarally) and then Harry shilding Ginny when Ron wants to jinx her.
It will be intresting to see Rupert playing the angry Ron.

I wanna see all of the memories of Voldemort. I wanna see who they cast as Voldy's mom.

The whole cave scene. That has to be in there with the inferis.

When Draco punches Harry on the train under the invisibility cloak.

Hermione attacking Ron with her magical canaries, and seeing her expression when Won-Won and Lavender are snogging.

Professor Slughorn and the Slug Club, and the christmas party and Cormac McLaggen getting dodged by Hermione.

Unfortunately, I want to see DD's funeral and the white tomb.

IF they CUT any good parts of the movie, I will be so upset. So please dont cut any good parts.

More than anything, I'm looking forward to the Pensieve scenes, with Tom Riddle, young Dumbledore, Voldemort's eginnings,Marvolo, Morfin,etc.

The previous two scenes in the movies which have gone back in time, not including the time-turner thing,(hagrid gets caught by Tom Riddle and the courtroom scene)are both fantastic.If they dare cut out anyne of the Pensieve scenes, then I will never forgive Warner Bros, or Steve Kloves.

Also, Snape killing Dumbledore ahould be very inteesting.i'd love to see Tom Felton actually go somewhere with his character.Again, they had better not dare cut out any part of this scene.Especially not Malfoy.

Sectumsempra. There is no doubt in my mind already that this will be my favorite scene in the movie, just because it was my favorite scene in the book. I hope that they keep Tom Felton around, because I can already see him playing this role ... eeep ... can't wait ...

Sadly, this movie probably won't come out until ... what ... 2008? 2009? Ugh.

You know, I was thinking how they might make the beginning movie-interesting. The first chapter is something that I truly loved, with the magical community directly interacting with the muggle community, but in film, I think it wouldn't look too appealing for the target audience, it might seem like it's gonna be some lawyers movie.
So, what came to my mind was, why not show all the tragedies that Fudge talks about, as an introduction?
Like this:

On screen, there's the Brockdale Bridge and then it suddenly breaks apart, cars falling to the water and then death eaters disapparating from the place; then cut to the Giant wreaking havoc; cut to Voldemort killing Amelia Bones; cut to the Dementors all over Britain and with that picture, the title Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. All those scenes, in a flashback kinda style, and then cut to Harry getting ready to leave the Dursleys with a glimpse of all the papers (the Daily Prophet, the leaflet, then a close-up to the letter from Dumbledore).

What do you think?

And scenes I look forward most (not in relevance order):
- Dumbledore taking Harry to the Burrow (yes, I think they might cut Slughorn's place, they might just put him directly at Hogwarts when term begins), with the "You are with me" line.
- All the pensieve scenes. And it would be terrific if they called Christian Coulson to play Riddle again.
- The horcruxes explanation scene (which falls in the pensieve scenes).
- Sectumsempra, of course.
- Aragog's burial.
- Hermione's birds!
- The cave, with the "I am with you" line.
- Spinner's end.
- Mph... THAT scene... you know which, don't make me say it .
- Flight of that jerk.
- R.A.B., although I think they will adapt it to give some sort of clue to the audience, after all, there's the possibility of book 7 being out by the time movie 6 is filmed.
- The white tomb, with all its nobility.

I think it's easier to put HBP in film than OOTP, if they take a backstory approach, HBP is much more straight-forward than OOTP.

If it is not cut because it actually has nothing to do with the plot, it will be a big part of the movie because they are a great draw card.

Look at how many extra lines were created for them in GOF even though their subplot was cut. Obviously their humor is valued.

A shop scene could blow a large portion of the special effect budget, but it would be great. I have no doubt there would be more than is in the book.

I defienetly think Coulson should come back for Riddle in most of the memories, and they should get someone to play the 11 year old Riddle, Coulson wouldn't be able to fit someone that young, and get Fiennes to play the part when he comes into Dumbledores office.

Hmm, this has probably been said before, but I'm really looking forward to seeing Harry hold the Quidditch try-outs It was so funny in the book, though knowing how things are its quite possible it will be cut, but I hope not.

One of my favorite scenes that i want to see is the death of Aragog. I think its a funny scene because hagrid and slughorn get so drunk and act like idiots. LOL. I also wanna see the part where harry accidentally jinxes ron in his sleep yanking him out of bed. That would be funny.

I like the scene where Ron and Harry walk in on Ginny and Dean kissing. I hope they don't change it, cuz I love it. I particularly love when Ginny lets out a laugh and screams "Been kissing Pigwidgeon, have you?" I wish I played Ginny...

I guess I'm a romance person because I can't wait for all the romantic scenes with H/G! But the Ron and Lavender scenes could end up being extremely tasteless if they don't do it right. I hope they keep the confrontation between Ron and Ginny. I think that would play out very well. I would also like to see sectumsempra. I think it would be hilarious to see Ron swoon over Romilda Vane. I wonder if they will put in the scenes with Katie and the nacklace and Ron and the poison?
I'm afraid they will probably cut the Lupin/Tonks ship. It really has nothing to do with Harry, and it is after all Harry's story. If it does show, it will not be prominant at all. And another unfortunate thing would be the Twins' joke shop. It really doesn't have any real significance. It may get a mention, but I don't think we'll ever visit their shop. I wish they wouldn't cut anything though! It is such an awesome book!

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Inferi. I hope they don't try to soften them up just to maintain a certain MPAA rating for HBP. I hope they make them as scary and creepy as they were in the book. While reading, I pictured them as moving the way Samara from The Ring Two did -- like when she's climbing out of the well and her movements were very quick but kind of jerky at the same time like she had some really powerful limbs to allow her to move so quickly but at the same time she still had rigormortis, hence the jerky movements. I can't wait to feel the little hairs on my arms stand on end when they start climbing out of the water, grab Harry and try to drag him under. So creepy!

I, like everyone else, also want to see the new romantic stuff. I can't wait to see Harry kiss Ginny in the common room. I imagined it being a very romantic, passionate kiss like the one from The Notebook, you know, when they were in the rain. They kissed as though they were the last souls on Earth and never wanted to leave each other's arms -- that's how the kiss between Harry and Ginny should be. It should be very different from the one he experiences with Cho. With Cho it should be a little more strained, because he was nervous and she was crying her eyes out. With Ginny's kiss, however, it should feel so right to Harry that he wouldn't be nervous at all but instead so comfortable in her arms.

I'm also looking forward to seeing Hermione sic all those canaries on Ron -- poor Ron got pecked pretty bad LoL "They were like little yellow bullets..." hehehe How funny!

I guess I just want to see every single thing from the book, in the movie. I don't care if it's an 18 hour movie, I'll still go see it! LoL

I really looking forward for the whole movie the plot is really good except when snape kills dumbledore cause dosne`t mix anyway i really wanna see all the romantic and scenes basically about the relationships but really wnat to see ron getting attacked by the birds i really hope that they don't cut that out!! and the inferi seem really cool i hope it look real if it looks to real i think it would be rated M15+ as like the 4th movie and i`m really not looking forward to harry and ginny getting together it seems alright but i wnated harry and cho to end up together sigh beggers can`t be choosers anyway and i wanna see the scene when they have qudditch tryouts quittch is soo cool i wish they had it in real life and JKRmakes it seem soo sction packed and thrilling.

um ... Harry's Quidditch Tryouts that was my favourite part in the book!! Fred and George's jokeshop will be cool too though!! and the canaries that sounds so SCARY!! Inferi will be sooo awesome!! and Dumbledore getting killed (muahaha I'm actually looking forward to it although I hate admitting it) and the funeral will be cool. All HP movies rock so hopefully this will too!! lata guys

Since book 6 is my least favorite, I can say that there aren't any scenes in the HBP movie that I look forward to seeing. However, by the time the HBP is filmed, we will know how the HP series ends. Book 7 is rumored to be the second half to book 6, so, I would have to read book 7 first. Then I can watch the movie (based on HBP) more objectively.

I cant wait to see dumbledore giving harry private lessons and using the pensive. I really want so see the bit at the school where the death eaters are there and malfoy tries to kill dumbledore. I also cant wait to see harry and ginney kissing (i think they make a cute cupple)lol!

to tell the truth i'm looking forward to every scene of the movie except the snogging. i want to see the scene of the cave nad how dumbledore dies. i want to see the quidditch match as well. there are loads of stuff i want to see but i got to wait for the movie to be released which will, i think take some time.

Im loocking most forward for the ending scens(i wounder if it can make you Gambon haters cry and make me hate Snape).

Might bum me out, and I will soooo cry, but seeing as how JK probably has some hand in how its all to be played out, I want to see what they do with the death scene. Will be cheating a bit, but I want to know how they handle Snape killing DD off. If the look Snape gives DD comes off well on screen.

Oh, and we hafta have the Weasley's shop in Diagon Alley. They don't give those twins nearly enough screen time as far as I am concerned.

The scenes Im most looking forward to in The Half Blood Prince are the one at Spinner's End , I dont think that they can leave that one out. and the scene at the end, you guys know which scene Im talking about, and when Dumbl-*sniff*- sorry can't even say the name, when the Headmaster announces that Slughorn will be teaching Potions and Snape DADA, and Harry yell out NO! in front of everyone, that would be hilarious!

As far as leaving anything out, the only things that I think they could leave out are perhaps
