Hey! I thought there were something missing in this section! lol...
Anyways...
Have you been to a concert and it was so great that you just have to tell everyone how it was!? Well, then you're in the right place!
Here you can share your concert experiences with your fellow forum pals!

Me first! rolleyes.gif

I notised on the Music thread that someone mentioned System of a Down's drummer! And I must say that they are awesome live! I was on a System of a Down concert in Oslo - Norway this summer and it rocked! The only thing was that I'm very short, so I couldn't see them all the time because of the many hundreds of tall SOAD fans! Well, well...

But the best concert I've been to is definitely Mew! They are a GREAT danish band who absolutely touched my heart! Their music is just so wonderful! They're fantastic! And they're even better live! I wish the concert would never end! Funny how time goes by so fast when you're having a blast!

On monday I'm going to see Coldplay live for the first time! It will be awesome, I know!!! I'm so excited!
Ah, how can you live without music?? It's impossible!! biggrin.gif
GinevraPotter
My first concert was...well, a long time ago, I was pretty small. I got dragged off to tons of country music concerts as a little kid, since my uncle works in the business. He's the publicist for the Beach Boys, for one thing. biggrin.gif I went to see Fleetwood Mac with my sister last summer, they were brilliant. The last concert I went to was the Beach Boys, I really enjoyed that. I wanted to go see Coldplay at Holmdel, NJ, but it didn't work out. dry.gif Hopefully I'll catch them another time- I'd love to see them in concert.

I've gone to something like 10 concerts in 4 years, so I was rather glad to see someone had started a thread for this topic. I've seen, let's see...Journey (twice), Matchbox Twenty, the Moody Blues, Boston, the Barenaked Ladies, Yes, Rush, Styx, Whitesnake, and Ben Folds. I just went to see Folds this past Friday, so the concert's pretty fresh in my mind.

Here's some good stuff that's happened over the years as I've gone a-concerting:

~Rob Thomas (lead singer of Matchbox Twenty) almost being crushed by a big sound buffer in the Van Andel Areana in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They have these big rectangles hanging from the ceiling of the Van Andel to modify the accoustics for concerts and one almost right above him suddenly gave a hearty lunge downward. Its securing harness stopped it from falling, but Rob was rather nervous when he noticed it dangling about fourty feet above his head ominously.

~God playing on stage with the Barenaked Ladies. The band had a guy dress up in a very silly, very fake white beard and robe and play tambourine along with them. That was at the DeVoss Center in Grand Rapids two years ago this September, I think.

~Ben Folds playing a Dr. Dre song that he re-wrote the tune of with his band (very funny, because it had very much the sound of "Brick" and none of Dr. Dre) and also throwing his piano stool at the piano when he was done playing. This was at Western Michigan University on Oct. 29th.

I really love the stool story. It's stupid, but I wasn't really expecting him to toss his stool at the piano. I suppose piano players have less options than guitar players when it comes to smashing their instruments in a rock-n-roll manner, though.

Cool! I see you have both been to many many concerts! Wow! I'm only a beginner! lol...

But oh! I HAVE to tell you about the Coldplay concert! It was so great!
Absolutely awesome! The only thing is that everything went just so fast! I feel like I wasn't there or something! Like it was a dream! Maybe because it was so good and I had been waiting for it since the summer holiday!

Lol...Me and my friend were standing on the left side, and suddenly Chirs Martin comes down, YES, down to where we were standing! I was only 2 metres from him! Pretty cool! And I got one of his water bottles which he had only taken one sip of! rolleyes.gif
I was very thirsty so of course I drank of it! lol... The water was very good too! It was a foreign product!

Well, well..anyway...

Keep posting though!

Similar, though less glorious experience: The lead singer, Jon Anderson (I believe), of Yes ran down into the crowd at the Van Andel when I went to the concert in the middle of the song "The Rythm of Love." It was actually very funny not because he was wearing a really, really loud jacket and is probably in his fifties to sixties, but because the security people panicked quite badly when they saw him dart in and had to follow him into the middle of the crowd. I got a very good view of it from my seat; it was really hilarious.

Glastonbury is my kind of party went with my uncle last year its kind of a mass gathering of every type of music in one place for 1 weekend every year you get all the known bands going e.g. coldplay, U2, Kean, system of a down and all the guys you just mention all in one place it totally rocks there’s like 8 stages 2 main and 6 small ones for the less known bands. With like contemporary and comedy stage ruled it was soo funny.

You camp and it traditionally rains and there hippies running round I’ll tell you it’s an experience!!
Hermione_Resilda
Well, I've only been to one concert in my whole entire life (a whole 13 years! rolleyes.gif ). It actually wasn't a real concert, but a symphony. And Andre Reau was playing. He was the conductor, and the lead violin.. I went with my family..as it was two years ago. Our seats weren't front row, but they were good enough. I really did enjoy it. I was the one who had begged my mom (and then she begged my dad) for tickets.

So, we were there, he and his orchestra played a few truly lovely songs. And, some fimiliar ones that I also enjoyed. He also made us laugh. Telling a few jokes here and there, and then all the men in the orchestra did sort of a funny skit. Then, near the end of the symphony, I felt like he really looked straight at me for half a half a second (that doesn't even make sense.. dry.gif ). Meaning that I was happy. Anyway, he played Brahms(sp?) Lullaby, and the show ended.

I haven't been to that many concerts...been to a couple of festivals though.

I've seen Texas, Bonjovi, Electric six, greenday, travis, marilyn manson, Manic street preachers, fun loving criminals, Hed PE, Amen, PJ Harvey, Rancid, System of a down, Paproach (of yay!).

i think the funniest thing ever was in The paparoach pit (i don't like them that much, festival) and the singer i don't know his name, yelled out 'Come on guys sing with me!'

some guy infront of me yells out 'We don't know the [censored] words!!' so funny!

Also when i went to the electric six gig there was some support band and the woman singing was scary!! And really really bad! And she yells out 'Come on Aberdeen do you want some more!' Now normally peopla go 'yay!' Half heartedly.

not here they didn't. everyoine just yelled out 'No!!! Get off you suck!' (They really did)

Also when i saw greenday they got people from the audience to come up and play their intruments.

The best gig ever i think was bon Jovi! I know it surprised m too! But i was amazing fun!

SennaWells
Ah, I've got another story that's not really of a concert, but is rather amusing. During the 2004 campaign, John Edwards was touring to gather support for the Democratic party. His musical guest on this trip? Jon Bon Jovi. It was just him and perhaps two other musicians to back him up. He sang his larger hits while being accompanied by a violin. I have pictures...it wasn't anything too fantastic because the acoustics were terrible in the building, but it was perhaps the weirdest 'concert' I've ever seen in my life.

On the bright side, one of the local high school marching bands was there and they managed to sound completely awesome even while playing Britney Spear's "Toxic" in the arena. Huzzah for them.
Esrb99
THE BON JOVI?!?!?! wowzers....

BEST: AFI, 2003. Davey havok (singer) Jumped into the crowd and LITERALLY WALKED among them, on the ground, while singing Leaving Song Pt. 2!!! so amazing.. then Geoff Rickley of Thursday followwed in suit, (but he was held up at the ankles by fans and carried around)

MOST RECENT: Oct 28th, at the Silverstein,Aiden, Hawthorne Heights, Bayside Show, After MSI Played over the PA, WiL of Aiden Rushed out, and while playing Knife Blood Nightmare(www.myspace.com/aiden.org) pulled random people out to sing with him! they also had fake blood coming down from the rain systems...

also, I met Bayside and their drummer. why so important? because 3 days later, their drummer died when their tour us hit an ice patch...

MOD EDIT : Come now, it's no excuse for you not to remember the rules having been here for so long. Personal abbreviations are not allowed - "w/" should have been "with" which I've now edited. Best be more careful next time eh?!

Lucky Boys confusion was awesome. Just alot of really positive energy. Alot of true fans in a tiny venue, just having an amazing time. it was such an awesome time.

Oh and of course Warped Tour. Awesome bands, awesome friends, awesome booths.
Miseria
I saw System in Winnipeg (city in Manitoba Canada) and like wow! They were flippin' amazing! They opened up with Soldier Side and it was just amazing! I'm still in awe from it and I went like two months ago or something like that.

Hey just me unfortunatlly every 10 years Glastonbury has a year off to help the ground and things but there web site glastonbury festivals is there.

by the way its in england
Sofie
Ive been to several concerts and festivals. Ive seen(heard, listened to?): Sting, Elton John, Joe Cocker, The Queen (without Mercury, of course sad.gif ), Lionel Rithie. Thers were all big open-air concerts in my hometown, Budapest.

My best concers experiences? An Apocalyptica concert 3 years ago. It was the best thing ever. biggrin.gif
The worst concert ive been: this summer the KoRn. It was soo bad. They played like 50 minutes but with a 20 min. break. It was horrible.
The most terrifing concert: last summer Slipknot. I was there with one of my friends and she wanted to be close to the stage so we were somwhere in the 5th line. When the concert begun the whole crowd (10000 people) started pushing forwards. It was horrible. A real nightmare. *shudder* blink.gif

Glastonbury is in...Glastonbury! laugh.gif It's in the west country in England, and i really want to go!

Omaga, i heard that Glastonbury was every two years now? They have loads of problems with security and people keep sneaking in and they were loosing money and people you were sneaking in, also sneaked in drugs and stuff, and the guy who runs it almost lost his liscence a few years ago. It was a shame, it was almost as though everyone was saying.

'We promise we'll be good now! Just let him have the festival there!'

So i'm pretty sure it's every two years now, but i could be wrong! All i know is that it's not on this year.

Festivals are amazing, and something you should do at least once! They're great value for money IMHO. it's about £100 and you get three day camping and get to see loads and loads of bands! But bring yourown food and water cos it's expensive out there!

Esrb: I love AFI i only have sing for the sorrow, but i think it's really good! I'm so envious that you go to see them live! dry.gif I love the song that's in your siggie best i think.
littlexoxlotte
The only concert i have ever seen was Anna Nalick, and it was really good. After the concert i got to meet her and stuff so that was pretty cool. It was all acoustic too so that was cool.
just me
Ooh...I'm definitely going to Glastonbury the next time they have a festival!!! So many bands I love were there this summer.... Coldplay, The Killers, The Bravery, Bloc Party, Razorlight etc. etc.
If only I was there... rolleyes.gif

The "Other Stage" and "Pyramid Stage" seemed to have the best bands! hehe.. I'll keep that in mind!

I came really close to going to see Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers this past summer, but by the time my parents and I found out that there was a tour going on, all the even considerable seats were sold out. I was really, really angry because it's the second time that he's been in town and I didn't get to see him. The first time he came, I was going camping with my friend over the summer and my mother thought that the concert was at the same time I'd be gone. She was off by a month, so "All I got was this lousy tee shirt" came to be a phrase waaay too true for me. I plan to spend all of my free time in the future psychically willing him and They Might Be Giants to come to Michigan.

I love live music.

Hermione 14
I have only been to two concerts in my life and they were both absolutely amazing ; and they were both Backstreet Boys concerts. I went to their Black and Blue Tour in '01; and this past summer I went to their Never Gone Tour; it was the best concert ever, and they happen to come to the Tweeter Center, on my birthday, and thats only like 10 minutes from my house. It was the best birthday gift ever. I hope they come back soon biggrin.gif lol.

At the beginning of this year I experienced something amazing. My sister, my mum, and me went to a Josh Grobin concert! It was amazing, and unforgettable!!! I want to go to another concert of his, he is so talented!

Last month I went to an All-American Rejects show. It was truly one of the most amazing things I have experienced. Not only was the band amazing, the crowd was absolutely insane. There was so much moshing, pushing, and crowd surfing. By the end of the night. every single person was drenched in sweat. It was one crazy but amazing night.
karsh05
well, i once went to a Martina McBride Christmas Concert when I was about 11 or 12 for my birthday with my mom and three of my best friends. None of us were normally HUGE country music people, but we pretty much knew what was going on, especially when Martina called me down from my seat onto the stage and sang to me happy birthday! it was pretty cool to be right there infront of everyone and to be like the center of attention!
TriRycheRaven
What a great topic folks.

The best concert I've ever seen has got to be, hands down Queen (w/ Freddy). The support group was Billy Squier - it was on the Hot Space tour - absolutely awesome.

I have also seen Kiss, Metallica (another incredible production), MY FAVORITE BAND: QUEENSRYCHES, Bon Jovi, Warrant, Bonham, LIVE (incredible performance at the CPR Festival), House of Lords, The Ramones (STREETS, New Rochelle, NY), Winger, Lillian Axe, Lizzy Borden, Judas Priest, Krokus, Duran Duran, Slaughter, etc. I've been to over 100 shows and they were all worth it! My life is surrounded by music. On rare occasion I will actually karaoke to the older stuff, Journey, Benetar, etc. I recommend every one "sing out loud, at least once a day - it keeps the soul young".

KAM12
I have been to 2 Clay Aiken concerts and 2 Martina McBride concerts and I was REALLY REALLY close to goin to a Green Day concert once.My mom said I could go and then a few hours later she said NO!! I was sooooo mad mad.gif!!
askingforit
I saw AFI and it was completely amazing.
I am fairly tall so for the most part I was able to see over the crowd, but that wasn't the bad part. The crowd kept on shoving every which way, and not to mention, it was really hot. We waited for about an hour for AFI to finally come on, but once they did, the crowd went bizerk. I held on to my sister as we nearly touched the floor from the pushing crowd.

I had been in a preety good spot between the front and the middle of the room. But then I got shoved to the middle which wasn't bad since the room was relatively small. I heard about two songs, including The Leaving Song Pt. 2, while next to the mosh pit, a bit scary. After that I had to go to the back with my sister. I watched the rest of the show from the stands, but that was actually pretty close (small room).

Overall the concert was amazing, watching Davey walk on to the crowd during God Called In Sick Today, getting elbowed in the face wacko.gif , and just being there was awesome.

I went to Pointfest w/ my mother a yr or so ago and it was ...interesting... We talked about stuff i wud never had talked to her about b4, so that was good .... i guess....`

Well...concert experiences!
I have been to Scorpions, not last year, the year before. It was so exhausting! It was hot, like 40C, people were all pushed together like cereals in a box...They were all jumping here and there, thank God no one stepped on me. But apart from these (which actually made the conert more of an experience you know laugh.gif ), thye were really awsome! Claus was singing as if he was untouched by time...I will definitely go again! Though they are coming June 18 and i want to go to Evanescence 5 days later. Not sure if i can hanlde both...Ah i can't wait! tongue.gif

hmmmm......I have been to 3.

first I went to a Carmen Concert, and he sia Christian singer. And he was ok, he is really old tho.

Second I went to a Jesse McCartney Concert. I thot he was a babe at the time. I got to touch his hand i was on front row. Yahoo. He was wearing a Pink Shirt, Jeans and black Converses. At the end of the Concert we like ran out of the doors and watched him get on his bus. he was like thanks for coming!

Third i went to A Superchick Concrt. And they are a Christian group. And they were opened by Elevety Seven, Seveth Day Slumber, KJ52. And hen they came on they are so cool, they were doing all kinds of crazy S*it. Like jumping off crates and on top of Keyboards. They are so cool.

And a concert I want to go to is a Keane Concert, I think I would die. And I also want to got a Jack's Mannequin concert. If I could see them both my life would be fulfilled.

I won't let my daughter see that you went to see Jesse McCartney, he's never 'done' the UK and she's sorely disappointed. Still, there's McFly to keep her occupied. I have taken her to see them 4 times so far, this Tuesday will be 5 and then in November will be 6 times!! They are good fun, and I do have a laugh but......

My own concert experiences include.

The Sugarhill Gang (70's performers of Rappers Delight)

The Real Thing (UK soul band)

Ultravox (when they still played to the student unions)

George Benson

Wham! (George Michael when he was a duo)

Celine Dion

Robbie Williams

and now it gets sad.....

S Club 7

Steps

The Spice Girls

Will Young, Gareth Gates and Zoe

The original X Factor Tour (won by Steve Brookstien....anyone remember him?)

There are probably others that I'm too embarrassed to admit to seeing....I regret never seeing Queen and it is my ambition to see the reformed Take That and Jamiroquai.

~Oh these are sooo impressive. I am so totally jealous. Most of these bands I grew up with listening with my dad. Out of your list I have only seen the Rolling Stones and that was cool, but not the best.

~Oh I would have loved to see Queen also...And embarrassing is admitting to seeing Menudo...yep, I was 7 and my parents took me because I thought Robbie Rosa and Ricky Martin were amazing... shutup.gif I stop while I still have some dignity.

By far the absolute best concert I have ever been to was U2 this past December. The stadium was packed and it was just a great experience. Bono is so talented and the edge...whoo.
Thats enough for now.

I took my girls to see McFly again on Tuesday last week. I hate to say this but they really are very good live. The show was far too short though. There are a few random gigs over the summer that they're doing and a big arena tour starts in November. If anyone can get to go see them, I'd recommend it.

I have to say that out of all the times I've seen them perform (5) last weeks was definately the best. I don't know why, could have had something to do with having better seats I suppose or maybe it was because they were on my home turf. Whatever it was they are great performers.

It was back in '98 (I think), my parents had bought me season tickets to Symphony Center (home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra) and the tickets were for the Vocal series (I'm a singer, so this is appropriate). Most of the vocalists were really good, Kathleen Battle, Samuel Ramie (sp?), Denyce Graves, etc. But the bomb was Renee Fleming. She did an hour and a half program, which was phenomenal and exciting, and then she sang nine encores. With every piece she sang, her voice just got better and better, I think she ended up singing for three hours, and by the end of it, people were stamping their feet shouting BRAVA!!! and just having a great old time. She then signed autographs for whoever wanted them! It was awesome!

They haven't had a vocal series like this since. It's a bit of a bummer.
HJP/HJG_TrueLove
I haven't been to many concerts at all. The first concert I went to was the Eagles and I went with my dad and aunt (I got my moms ticket because she couldn't go). My second concert was Green Day and I went with my best friend. The last concert I went to was Elton John with my parents. I just love 70s and 80s music and todays music of course but I'm not too picky. The next concert I have tickets for is Neil Diamond.

Some concerts I really would have died to see and other people in my family went instead include the police (brothers), rolling stones (brothers), bob segar (parents), U2 (parents), and Fleetwood Mac (parents). Some other concert I would love to see would be Lifehouse, Snow Patrol, Boys Like Girls, All American Rejects, etc.
HPnerd_0512
The first concert I ever went to was Ben Folds with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in the Sydney Opera House. He's my favourite artist, so this was just amazing for me. He was great, telling funny anecdotes between songs, making up some melodies as he went along, and he got the whole audience to sing backing vocals for a couple of songs. It was hilarious! He looked like some sort of mad conductor as he led us.

I saw the Foo Fighters in Sydney a couple of weeks ago, and as you can probably imagine, the place went off. They played for 45 minutes longer than they were scheduled to, and even played Watershed, which they almost never play. They are my brothers favourite band, and I don't think he slept that noght, just bounced around the hotel room reliving it.

I saw the Cat Empire when they only just became famous in the Coffs Harbour Hotel. I was actually underage, but I found a way to get in because I was so excited to be seeing them. They were worth every cent, a one the most impressine live bands I think I've ever seen.

By far my most memorable concert would have to have been the double bill of Powderfinger and Silverchair when they did their Across The Great Divide tour of Australia last year. I saw them back home in Coffs Harbour while I was on uni holidays. It had been pouring rain all day, so they set up an enormous marquee in the middle of the Showground, and 10, 000 of us crammed ourselves inside, at some points knee-deep in mud. But the show was amazing. They are such different bands, with very different ways of performing. Silverchair was more of a platform for Daniel Johns, who did all of the audience interaction stuff while the band just played the music. However, Powderfinger was more of a group effort. There was no spotlight on any particular member, and I think I liked them better for it. But that was definitely the best concert I ever saw.

Taste of Chaos '08. Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Bullet for my Valentine, Blessthefall, The Underground, MUCC, D'espairsray, Idiot Pilot = the most amazing night of my life...and a lot of injuries.

...'nuff said.
Nasuada
I've been to one concert in my life so far and it was the best! I went last fall with my dad to see the band 'Rain' play. They're this band that dress up like the 'Beatles' and talk like them and play their songs! It was amazing! They sounded so much like the 'Beatles'. I couldn't believe it was real. It stunk that I couldn't take pictures, but what can you do! I still really enjoyed seeing the band play. I still can't believe how awesome they were! biggrin.gif
PottyHead
I love going to gigs! Its one thing to listen to a band but to see them live is just so amazing.
I love going to gigs like Taste of Chaos and stuff because you just get to see so many bands in one night.

These are all the bands that I've seen live. Some might be left out because of Taste of Chaos and support bands that I didn't pay attention to and not remembering them all blush.gif Oh and some of them I've seen more than once, but I wont bother saying which ones.

Blink-182 (first real gig)
Green Day
Rise Against
Funeral For A Friend
Bullet For My Valentine
The Used
Coheed and Cambria
You Me At Six
Cute Is What We Aim For
We The Kings
Boys Like Girls
Pendulum
Madina Lake
The Audition
30 Seconds To Mars
We Are The Physics
Hawthorne Heights
Aiden
Still Remains
Iron Maiden
Trivium
Killswitch Engage
Story Of The Year
Fightstar
Circa Survive
The Blackout
Razorlight
Blue

I'm pretty sure that I have missed some out, there actually are a load of bands from that list that are missing, which just makes me realise how many bands I have seen live. I didn't think it was that many =P
I love the whole gig experiece, and in a few months time I'll be able to add underoath to that list as well happy.gif And I'm going to see Pendulum again soon.

Are you sure your not from Colorado?
Sorry, there was a local band, and I kinda support local music, a lot. Anyways, despite that I love music almost as much as HP, and definitely more than having intact eardrums at fifty, I haven't been to that many concerts. All but two were at the Aggie, which is in Downtown FoCo, and a lot of good bands go there, which is pretty sweet. Like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will be there this month. Anyways. So, here's my list.

3-OH-3 (Aggie, FoCo)
Nightwish (Ogden, Denver)
I Am Ghost (Aggie, FoCo [twice])
Projekt Revolution (Coors, Denver)

and that's it, though I went to I Am Ghost twice at the Aggie, and I have to say that the first time was better, because Kerith was there, and she's awesome! 3-OH-3 is a band out of Boulder, though they're signed, and freaking amazing! The Mosh pit was sweet! If you haven't heard of Nightwish, there might be something wrong with you, especially if your from Europe, because they were number one on the Finnish charts for weeks! And Annette is awesome; the band that opened for them, Sonic Syndicate, was cool too, and they have a cover of t.A.t.U's "All About Us" that is really good. Last year's projekt revolution was awesome, what with LP's new CD, and HIM being there with Madina Lake, Placebo, Mindless Self Indulgence (female bassist, like Sonic Syndicate; check them out!), Saosin (I almost died it was so intense, since I'm 5'3" and fat people weigh a lot when they fall on you), Julien K (no album, but freaking awesome, on the main stage too!), not to mention My Chem who had flame throwers! I love my music, though, and despite that each concert leaves me just about deaf, I love it! Support local music, and local venues, cause they're so much more intimate, and the music is louder, which is always better!
So, all in all, my fav was Nightwish which I saw on 5/26, and it was so loud, I could feel the bass vibrating every part of me, which was creepy, then awesome! Annette has a beautiful voice too, and every time I hear The Islander, I want to cry and listen to it for hours, which I generally do.
Oh! And Kamelot is coming to the Ogden in October, and I'm going to that, and they're really good too! I think that's it, for now. I'm jealous of a lot of you, though, cause there are some good bands on those lists!

Here's some replies!
First, alkisti, go to Evanescence! I've heard its amazing, and totally worth it!
Second, HJP/HJG_TrueLove, I want to go to Snow Patrol too! I heart them a lot!
Third, PottyHead, you make me happy in a wonderful way! I'm more than slightly jealous.

Well obviously I've got the really cool bands that I saw years ago such as:
S Club (as S Club 7 and when they did a tour with S Club Juniors)
Steps
Hear Say

Oh the shame laugh.gif

But more recently I've seen:
Take That (since they reformed, my mum loves them so I went along with her, they are actually annoyingly good live tongue.gif)
Panic at the Disco
The Pigeon Detectives (saw them a week or so ago, they are absolutely incredible live, best band I've seen)

@becky12- S Club 7?!! Ha! Oh my gosh, that is awesome, I used to love them. I saw N'SYNC once so don't feel too bad.

My most recent concert was last week. I saw, in order of importance- Motion City Soundtrack *swoon*, Panic at The Disco, Phantom Planet, and The Hush Sound. Oh man! Oh man. I almost fainted seeing Justin Pierre up close- that man is a genius-(big fan here). I have to say it was pretty neat. Panic had bubbles blowing off the stage and things but I was disappointed in their performance because I was expecting to jam to their rock pop stuff and they ended up doing a ton of acoustic songs that just didn't have the same energy.

My first ever concert was a Judas Priest concert. Haha! Good times.

I have only been to two concerts in my life, so far. One was a while ago now, erm…I think it was in the year 2000 but I can’t remember. Anyway, my aunt had won tickets off the radio to see Westlife which see and my sister loved. I thought they were good too, I still listen to some of their songs.

I’m very varied when it come to music. I listen to Westlife, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Bryan Adams, Linkin Park, Sandi Thom etc so as you can see I like lots of different styles of music.

The second concert that I have been to was just in May. May 31st in Birmingham, England at the N.E.C. It was a late Christmas/my sisters birthday present. Me and my three sisters and my step-mom went to see Avril Lavigne and see was great! I mean I have seen clips of her performing live when see did her first/second album and I didn’t think see was that good live but she has improved so much. And she did it so relaxed, she didn’t change into a thousand outfits like most performers do. She just changed her jacket/top about once. She played the guitar, drums and piano and all in all she rocked! The support band were really good too, I hadn’t heard of them before her concert, they were The Jonas Brothers. I hope I get their album for my birthday because they we awesome!

They are so many concerts I have wanted to go to but we just never had the money. I really do hope I go to loads more though.

there have been way too many awesome concert experiences..too many to list. but i can recall the worst concert experience..well it wasnt that bad, but i'll definately never forget it.

so i was at the Rise Against concert, and there was a mosh pit..and i was in the front (no lie, i was right up against the guard rail), and of course at these concerts, there'll be people crowd-surfing, and since i was at the front, thats where security is, so when crowdsurfers get close enough, they just grab them and kick them out to the back. well, there was this one crowdsurfer, and he definately kicked me in the back of my head, and then the security guard helped him down, he definately crushed my head. it was an amazing concert, but man, did it ever hurt.

What a coincidence happy.gif just last saturday I went to my first concert EVER! I went to Vans Warped Tour 08<3 It was awesome. I saw alot my favorite bands and learned to love new ones.

For those who don't know what warped tour is, it's a concert where like alot of bands about 30 maybe all come together. There are five stages and at different times there is always a band playing and you walk to whichever you'd like to see. But if it's packed good luck making your way to the front haha.

I saw my two favorite bands EVER! We The Kings & Cobra Starship<3 I was in the fron for both performances. Even though it got a little violent but that's fine by me I enjoyed myself biggrin.gif

Now my next concert is at the end of July. I'm going to watch Metro Station, Good Charlotte, Boys Like Girls & another band I can't recall. But I am definetely going biggrin.gif
