The spell was Impervius!, which Hermione used on Harry's glasses to make them repel water... It was also used in OotP on the Gryffindor Team, I believe, to give them better visibility in the rain

You tell me how she did it!"
"I've been trying!" said Hermione. "But I...but..."
thats when Hermione realizes that Rita Skeeter is an Unregestered Beetle Animagus.

Also, earlier in the book, the three were talking about how Rita could have found out about Hagrid's mother being a giantess, and how she could have known that Krum asked Hermione to come stay with him over the summer at the end of the second task, and they were suggesting things such as invisibility cloaks and such when Harry brought up the idea of bugging, but Hermione flattened that one down right away saying that it was impossible because those kind of muggle electronics go haywire with all the magic around Hogwarts.

Okay, I believe this is from Order of the Phoenix. After Harry was explaning that he was so close to dying at the graveyard, and what happened to Cedric could have just as easily have happened to him if Voldemort did not need his blood.

The exact quote Hermione said, replying to Harry's fit, was:
