MOD EDIT : Hi and welcome to the forums!! Please read the forums rules before posting again. One-liners are not allowed. You're going to have to elaborate more in your future posts.

As the movies have continued I've noticed each one deals with personal relationships more and more. There's a greater focus on teenage problems, feelings, emotions, etc. I'm fairly certain they'll include the kiss between Harry and Cho, they won't miss a chance to include more "teenage" type issues in the movies. All speculation though.
AQHYAgrl
They will definetly include it. Dan actually said on TRL last week that we were going to have to wait for the kiss in the 5th movie. It's quite unfortunate IMO seeing as how I'm a H/Hr shipper dry.gif
parker
we'll see CHO kissing harry. (she's one desperate character....first cedric...then harry...she might as well go after ron after he's made a keeper, oh well, shes out of the picture in hbp)

but anyway in the book it was more like....cho closing in on harry...we didnt errrr 'witness' the kiss. and even if we see a kiss it'll look like a peck, not sloppy 10 sec. kiss. harry's inexperienced and its his first kiss. (cho on the other hand...well...we all know she went to madame puddifoot's tea shop...and its a haven for locked-lipped lovers or something)
PigWithHair
Yes, definitely we'll see it even though it really wasn't in the book. It was almost in the book, but JKR cuts right before.

But yes, joeschmo1985 was right. They really worked on the personal relationships of the characters in Goblet, and even though we'll have a new screenwriter and director for Phoenix, I think Heyman will want to continue in this vein.

Harry's first kiss is too important. They will definitely want to include that.

As for Cho going after Ron - puh-leez! It's bad enough we'll have to see Lavender in HBP! I'm already emotionally scarred from that bit.
maki!_proud_r/hr
I really want to see Daniel kissing somebody!! (even if it isn't me dry.gif )... but still... i'm so excited!!!!!
(By the way... I am not a Cho/Harry shipper)
silverstag
wink.gif well i hope they do because if they did not include it,it would leave out of of the highlights out of the movie.and all of the harry+cho believers would be disappointed.plus it adds a twist to the ootp movie.smile
Dumbledore's Widow
I can't imagine why it wouldn't be in the movie, after all, Harry was pretty infatuated with Cho in the 5th book. I see the kiss happening in the movie. The characters are teens after all!
marire
I really hope it's in there! It was really fun to read to read when Harry tried to explain Ron and Hermione what happened. And it probaply has to be because their relationship is important in plot.
paolopaolo
of course itll be included. its much too important for them to cut it. besides itll be really awkward if we dont see it since its a turning point for harry.
the master of avada kedavra
The kiss between harry and cho will be shown or not.In my opinion it will come down to the director. If he wants to keep the movie g-rated then it wouldn't be included.Otherwise it will be included because its first loves kiss. And in the sixth part their is alot of kissing going on.So if the directors keep the story of sixth book in mind then he will certainly show the kiss.
If it was up to me then i would have shown it. wink.gif
priori_incantatem
Well, obviously they're going to show it. But I don't think it'll be a make-oput.
hpcrazy
I think they are going to put it. There was an interview with Katie and she had sais that she is really excited for the kissing scene.....
alby_butterfly
I'm hoping that the kiss is left in. I'm not even a Harry/Cho shipper (on which, I have no real opinion), but as the others have said, Harry's first kiss will be important. Also, with all the emphasis on the relationship that was put in the GoF movie, they'll have to finish up that story line in the 5th movie in order to develop the romances of the 6th movie, otherwise the audience which hasn't read the books (there are some of them out there) will have no idea what happened.
coolcharm
like alby_butterfly, one of the biggest tags in the movie is about the trio getin into the opposite sex so they have to show when he finally gets his first kiss otherwise everyones gonna think hes gay.
Or that the directors are all to scared to have a sexual scene in these movies.

-Sarah
Volgin
i think the kiss should be added to show harry ageing... and what actually goes through the kids minds in hogwarts!
Padfoot12
First of all, they will show it because:
1) The movie producers are trying to portray their 'teenage' emotions. In other words: sexual urges.

2) There has already been a story leading up to it in the GoF movie: Harry liking Cho (always staring at her), asking her out, etc.

3) Both Dan and Katie have said in interviews that they can't wait for 'the kiss' and we're assuming they would have asked directors/producers if this will be included before they start blabbing it around.

4) So they won't dissapoint us, the HP loyal fans!

Well, with that out of the way...

They absolutely, no excuses, have to have to have to show this scene, because it's one of my favourite ones in the whole series (I'm a loyal Harry/Cho shipper! How about anyone else here?). I have been waiting to see this on screen for ages, and I just hope it is on there. Besides, it adds so much more to the story and to the elements of Harry's life to just cut it and leave it out.

khaleesa_danradcliffe
thw only person daniel is kissing is me!!!!! no no i m juz kidding..but if he kisses me i will be in heaven coz he is sooo hot and cute!!! never did like cho chang cuz she is such a desprate character..first she tackles cedric den harry??? ugh...no matter...but they are definitly putting that on screen kiss...coz thats wat dan said on TRL...n we gurlz noe dat we can totally trust lil dan!!! rolleyes.gif
MoogleGirl
I think they'll have it. It doesn't/won't take much time up anyways...

I hope they don't turn it into a make-out session...I think she should have the mistletoe thing. But then kinda have Harry lookup and be like "er-"and she smiles and steps closer to him and says the whole "I realy like you Harry" stuff (Keep it close to the book!) and then a nice, tender kiss.

Nothing thats too graphic. Then the idiots who take their little 5-year-old kids to see the movies will either be giggling none-stop or screeming "Iky!" in the theater. But I say have the kiss last about 6 seconds and then cut to Harry walking into the GCR to find Hermione and Ron doing homework.

Yeah. that sounds good. cool.gif
potter's girl
I definately think that they will show the kiss. It's impossible not to! It shows that Harry is growing up, and it is a very important part of the story!
felix_felicis_444
Oh, of course the kiss will be included!
As somebody said on page 1 of this thread, the producers and directors have been leaning more and more towards making the Harry Potter movie series for teens. They will not miss the invitation to have a teenager "conflict" in the film. They will probably include this in the trailers and teasers, too, just so everybody sees how the romance and maturity is building in the movies!

Hmmm...should be a great movie! if they stick to the plot and BOOK, the Order of the Phoenix movie should be very good!

Lol! Very true....but, I also have a feeling that there are going to be some upset female teens when/if Cho and Harry kiss...I'll probably be one of them! tongue.gif Then again, the other half of me is anxious to see them have relations.
N-vbl
Yeah I think we'll see the kiss, because it really goes along with the story and they'd have to cut out loads if they didn't have the kissing.
Feeder
Yes! They will (and I can say this with the utmost confidence) definitely show the kiss. Did you guys see the GoF commercials, they all showed the little romance things that were so insignificant to the plot and movie. The kiss will be the most advertised part of the movie.
HP#1_wee_lil'
Oh they'll not leave out the kiss!! It would be a terrible shame if they did. Anyway Harry's first kiss is far to important to leave out of the film. tongue.gif As someone else said they keep trying to highlight that the characters are getting older and showing a kiss is great way to show him growing up. laugh.gif Well i will be very disappointed if they don't show it. Let's hope the director makes the right desision on this, we need a bit more romance in these films!!!!!! biggrin.gif
james pickles
i think we should see that because it is such an emotions and maturity scene of the story. i think it will be interesting to see how katie and dan both react and it will be a really funny and emotional scene so i think we should get to see it. hey lets start a protest saying we want that scene in the film tongue.gif
Cedric Inuzuka
Before I start, I come in peace so what I will say is not a free attack on Cho, oki ?

So begin, what is the purpose of having Cho in the movie if it isn't to have a romance with Harry and I sure that all the lover who was a teenager know that romance is ringing with kissing ( at this age ), so is they don't show the kiss, Cho has nothing to do in the film, maybe in selling the DA to Humbrige hey, that will be fun to see her face after that; just joking wink.gif

and if we have a kiss here, we will have more for the next one ( but this another story)
Rockgirl89
Of course, we'll see that...everybody's waiting for that! And also a lot of magazines, television channels etc are going to speculate on that...
phoebe lovegood
of course they wont remove it besides almost everyone is waiting to see it for ages please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it is normal to kiss for teens but not so much ok but as everyone has told it it would be a smack not a french kiss or whatever.................... huh.gif

I totally agree with the above quote. All of the tabloids focused on "harry potter growing up" in the 4th movie. That made GoF real famous. If they want OotP to be as popular there going to need to show the kiss. I hope its like 2 seconds, and then cho sorta backs away and runs off, leaving harry there stupefied
Kells bells
I am really dreading that scene. They will include it and I will be so jelous. I don't think I will be able to watch it. He is MY Harry, not Cho's. She really gets all the good ones. I bet it will be on the advert too. So I will have to sit through it about a gaziliion times. sad.gif

'Mistletoe,' said Cho quietly, pointing at the ceiling over his [Harry's] head.
'Yeah,' said Harry. His mouth was very dry. 'It's probably full of Nargles, though.
'What are Nargles?'
No idea,' said Harry. She had moved closer. His brain seemed to have been Stunned. 'You'd have to ask Loony. Luna, I mean.'
Cho made a funny noise halfway between a sob and a laugh. She was even nearer to him now. He could have counted the freckels on his nose.
'I really like you, Harry.'
He could not think. A tingling sensation was spreading through him, paralysing his arms, legs and brain.
She was much too close. He could see every tear clinging to her eyelashes...

He returned to the common room half an hour later to find Herminone and Ron in the best seats by the fire; nearly everybody else had gone to bed.

Even JKR had left the kissing scene out. Why would they put that in the film then? huh.gif
Kisangyal
I think, that would be logical, to put that in the movie, I mean nowadays the 'interesting' films are the ones which have a love-part too. I think more girl would watch HP if they knew that Dan will kiss somebody. It's just a kind of media trick, in my opinion. (Otherwise, I think these 'tricks' are pretty annoying, but that's it.) unsure.gif
Mrs. Radcliffe
I will be very dissapointed if they cut it! I am very much looking forward to that scene! I hope it will be in, it has a small importancve for the storyline I think. If they cut it I will look like this: evil.gif !!
silverstag
well i would be very sad and if this did not happen it would ruin the one of the many many peak of the movie mainly because i think it will show them getting closer and as they are about touch lips it will fade out and then show him comming into the common room and ron and herminone sitting there and then they look up and and ect...
*Quidditch Princess*
They are leaving in the kissing scene for sure. They are filming the scene today, March 14, 2006, and one of Dan's parents is gonna be there to watch. Katie is like the luckiest girl on earth today...that is if they don't use camera tricks.

*Quidditch Princess*
or HPF4ev to you and me!
Peyton
In the new news on the site home the paragraphsays we will, infact, be seeing the kiss.

Dan also told BBC Radio 1 that he will be filming his kiss with Cho Chang today: "It'll be odd because one of my parents will be on set. It will be embarrassing but hopefully I'll work past that and be utterly professional but I'll probably keep screwing it up so that I can keep doing it."
Veinic
sure we will. even before GoF aired, there were a lot of anticipation of that particular scene. if they dont air it, a lot of [ppl's] peoples going to get angry.

i'm sure Dan and Katie wont be too pleased as well laugh.gif

MOD EDIT: Helo there. I fixed minor netspeak in your post. Please be careful and type it all out next time. Netspeak is agianst the rules. Thanks.
HP#1_wee_lil'

Well I saw it on the news today. It was meant to be filmed on the 14th but is now being filmed sometime next week!! Dan had some knd of Flu bug and I suppose he didn't want to pass it on to Katie...
I will be so jelouse when I see it but I still think it's sooo cute! wub.gif

I'm really glad they've decided to leave it in but hey, who wouldn't?
patriots0507
well of course well see it. it leads to harry and cho dating which leads to them breaking up. then harry moves on and dates ginny in HBP. believe it or not, the kissing scene is a very important scene cause without it, harry doesn't go through all this stuff and then he will never break up with ginny cause he's afraid u-no-who's gonna use her as bait or something.

kissing scene=very important
Bendis
Well well well! I really donīt like Cho. She is spoiled and sometimes sheīs even annoying. But I agree with the fact that the kiss escene is very important because Not only the books but specially the previous movie do emphasis in the development of the adolescence of Harry and his friends.

And Dan is going to look gorgeous. I canīt wait to see it! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!
sirus blacks lovechild
i think that HEAPS of people who don't watch the movies, even don't read the books, would be more interested if the kissing scene is in it.

i know I will be looking forward to it.

lucky katie...first robert pattinson...now dan...luckiest girl on earth...

Gaiash
They'll most likely keep it, and I have a feeling if you don't change scene during the kiss Harry will say "wow" afterwards because thats just the sort of line they'd put in.

Plus even though the Mistletoe kiss is cut off before it happened in the book we still have a scene where Cho kisses Harry for a 2nd time (I think it was a peck on the cheek) so either way we'll most likely see at least one Harry+Cho kiss.
Essence of Division
I'm hoping it's in, and there has been a lot of mention about how everyone is eager to do it. But it is up to the director (bites nails wondering what will be cut)
Say
tuni
I think they will never left the film without Harry and Cho's kiss seen, because it is most important seen for Harry as well as for us too
Hermione_Granger_246
I think that they will show it, it's too important to the story line to cut out, but, i dont think they will actually "kiss" i think it will be more of a "almost a kiss" i think cho will start the waterworkd before she kisses him in the movie 1eye.gif
Lizzy_Radcliffe
I sure hope that the kiss is in the movie, it's what a lot of us were excited to see in the 5th movie. I'll just imagine myself in the role of Cho, though... wub.gif

Anyway, it also represents Harry becoming more mature.

I agree, sirius blacks lovechild, Katie is a lucky girl...*sighs and dreams of gorgeous Hogwarts students*
Galian
i will be disappointed if it is cut.

It does symbolize the rest of the books from that point.
potter's girl
I am absolutly sure that the kiss will be in the movie. Almost every interview I have read confirms it. Dan has told alot of people that they are doing the kiss and that he was slightly nervous because one of his parents was on the set. I don't even think that they would think about leaving it out. It's very important, and I can't wait! Katie is soooo lucky...... wub.gif
