My favorite was the Voldemort task. They emphasized it in the movie making it sad but, Voldemort made it interesting.
Gryffindor Rock Chick
I think all have their merits. I like the unexprected task. You can not go past the Ron and Hermione fight.
Padfoot12
I'm a bit confused, is this from the movie or the book?

Anyway, I voted for the Yule Ball, because this causes a lot of interesting conflict and discovering themselves between the characters. Second would be the scene with Voldy and Priori Incantatem, and Third, would be the third task.

I'm voting from the book cause the movie doesn'y come out down here in Australia till December 1.

Gryffindor Rock Chick
I am thinking of both the book and film. I have seen parts of the film so that helped my vote. I also have to wait until December 1st before I see the film.
ravenclaw_prefect
I voted for the Third Task but the Yule Ball comes in a close second. I couldn't vote for the Voldemort task coz that one made me cry. sad.gif

MOD EDIT: please be careful one liners and netspeak are not allowed on the foum cuz should be because or cos..

hummm...I am not sure about this thread...although it does have the potental to generate some great discussion I am seeing a lot of one liners which are not allowed...please elaborate more in your posts..why not tell us WHY you feel the way you do

If the mods continue to see one liner posts this will be closed..as there are already similar topics open on the subject..however this one contains a poll soits a bit different... I will give you one more chance..

All the tasks were awsome in the movie, but I picked the first task. It just stumped me greatly to see how far Harry Potter movies have gone right on the first task. The flying through the school, the suspense, the way the dragon clawed through the roofs and wow it was just awsome. The Voldemort "task" as its called in this thread was AWSOME too, probably better than the first task, but its just that the first task stumped me right off the bat.
Hermiones_Rencarnation
I still find it awesome when I read how Harry and Voldemory raise in the air with their wands connected. It was a little diffrent in the movie, but I still enjoyed it.
hermione_rocks
i voted for the Second Task (the only one!)

in the movie... i thought it was well done and true to the book unlike the other two tasks

i have to say the yule ball and graveyard scene come tied for a close second
Lady Oymre
The yule ball is definitely the funniest, especially in the movie, I was cracking up. The conflict between Ron and Hermione and Harry not being able to find a date is priceless. The Voldemort task comes a close second.
Pretty_Seeker23
The Yule Ball was fantastic! I would so have not turned down Harry! Heck NO!!!!!!!!!!

MOD EDIT: please be careful one liners are not allowed on forums..please elaboratre more in your future posts

I voted for the Voldemort Task.

i think its the most exciting part of the fourth book. it was very well done in the movie, too
i pretty like the Yule Ball, especially the fight between Ron and Hermione.
the first task was incredible. the dragon chasing Harry aroung the castle. im glad it didint look fake at all. smile.gif
weasley_twins_in_mini
I liked all of the tasks because all of them are great in their own way. Some being more serious than others (Voldermort + the death eaters in the graveyard) and some being funnier than others (the Yule Ball).
Freshprince
I voted the task from Voldemort because it's the final task, and there's where Voldemort rises again and the first time Harry and Voldemort have a fight between them !!

In the book it was very emtional wink.gif and they did it well on the film, even Cedric died very rapidly ohmy.gif

p.s. i hated the version from the third task on the film
They modified too many things and the whole creatures weren't no more there !! mad.gif
AQHYAgrl
Well I thought this would be a good poll since GOF has been out for over a week now. I've seen it three times but I definetly want to go lots more times. There's no way I can wait until April to see it again!
Freshprince
You have seen the film 3 times in a week blink.gif
Well i saw it once , but i think i will watch it a second time but this thime in german, because i read the books in german.
The first time and only one i saw the film was in original voices.

p.s. the prices of the tickets aren't cheap here in Luxemburg. 8.5€ per ticket (long duration) wink.gif
AQHYAgrl
That must be interesting to watch/read in German! I would like to see that even though I don't speak German, I bet it sounds neat. I don't know how much that would cost in US currency, but movie tickets here are $3.50 which is actually really cheap. I live in a very small town so it doesn't cost alot to go. Besides my parents usually pay anyways tongue.gif
MiM3-Dan4Ever
Once, but i'd really wanted to see it twice! The best of all! It was in french, of course 'cause I speak french! But when I'll have the DVD, i'll see it in original version.

I can't wait to april! sad.gif
Marie
I saw it twice. I was lucky and unknowingly arrived at a free screening on opening day! The Phelps twins were there also! I saw it again this past weekend with my husband. It was even better the second time.
You're lucky AQHYgrl - $3.50 is cheap!! I live in a suburb of Chicago and pay $8.50. I'll see it once more before it leaves the theater, and countless times when I buy the DVD. laugh.gif
MiM3-Dan4Ever
The first one! Wow!

My 2nd choice would be the scene with Voldemort! Incredible!

D'you imagine if young children see this part of the movie? They would be so scared, I'm sure!

i saw it once...but i would love to see it again!
I paid $6.00 but that's because i paid as a "child" meaning under 11... wink.gif
anyways it would have to pay $8.50 too...
Krieltje
I've seen the movie only once by now, I promised my cousin to go with him around Christmas so that would make the second time. Though I "liked" the movie, I don't think I'm going more often than two times, I'll just wait 'till it's on dvd so I can hold a HP marathon with my friends smile.gif

Well I live in Southern Louisiana tongue.gif Hick town!!

I'm going to see it again on Saturday with my cousin. My mom tells me I'm obsessed dry.gif I'm not really, it's just a cool movie and I don't have anything else to do. We recently moved here so I don't really have any friends to hang out with sad.gif

hermione_4ever
Well....i've seen it three times.. Once with my sister, once with my friend and once with my mum that actually is a big Harry Potter fan!! I really enjoyed it.... biggrin.gif
Padfoot313
I saw it twice, only because the first time was with my parents and 5 yr old neice on Friday night, and the second time on Saturday with my brother who wasn't home that day. Although I do plan to see it again on Saturday afternoon only because my neice fell asleep on Friday and really really really wants to se the mermaids again.
Louise
You know, I've got to laugh....these huge box office statistics are inflated. I bet this film wouldn't be half so successful and making so much money if all the Potter fans out there weren't shelling out to see this film several times. wink.gif If you take away the multiple screenings, I wonder how much money it would make then?

I saw it once - thankfully, and I couldn't wait for it to end because my butt was numb and I was...well...bored to death, frankly. Worst Potter film yet, but at least I know to save my cash the next time, huh? happy.gif

^dang... I didnt think ill see a Harry Potter fan saying this was a bad movie. I loved it, watched it once, I would like to see it again but just watching it once makes it better. the first time you see it you can get the extra shocks on crazy scenec watching it twice its still good its just you already know whats coming.
Feeder
I've just seen it once and I probably won't see it again until it comes out on DVD. I didn't think it was good enough to see twice, it has to be really good for me to pay to see a movie twice. I think the only movies I've seen multiple times in theaters are the LOTR movies (I think I saw them all 3 times!)
bianca
i've seen GoF twice and it never gets boring for me! i saw it once with my aunt who keeps poking me every time she sees krum and tells me he's hott. but of course, she 22! biggrin.gif and i saw it a second time with my uncle and his son and my mom and my two little sisters. the first time i got the tickets to this movie, i couldn't calm myself because i was so excited and my aunt keeps asking me if i'm ok. LOL!
0maga
No movie for me unless its suposed to be a comedy is funny after the first time so i dont usually go back but i shall probally end up getting it on DVD or my parents will. But its to predictable exspecially after reading the book so i just wouldnt enjoy it the second time so i have only seen it the once.
dream_of_a_siren
I've seen this movie so much its crazy! Well, I am a hardcore HP fan and I memorized it by the second viewing. 0_o Mad but brilliant
dream_of_a_siren
I'm stuck between the Yule Ball, which was way cool, and the second task. I loved everything about the Yule Ball and I love the water and how Jo didn't use the typical mermaid stereotype.
Laydee_QT
hehe, i've only seen it twice, once with my mates. and once with my nephews!

Heh, I bet I'm one of the primary inflaters... and proud of it! tongue.gif Seen the film four times so far, three times locally and once in IMAX. The last time was the best -- it wasn't nearly as crowded as it was for the first couple weekends, and my sister and I got front-row seats on the balcony thingamajig, since the theater has two levels. I think I've spent $35.50 on tickets in total... and that's just for me... it would be... $110 for everyone. Wow, Allie and family could be the case study for Louise's theory. wink.gif

Yule Ball for me to because i just had my school Prom a little while ago and it was good it was fun and it was a good laugh it got the enite year all 350 of use back together for one last time so i do recomend it to anyone!!!
miridian
first one for sure dragons rock!~ yayness and besides the movie task was soooo cool! by far my fave seen! the merpeople kinda gave me chills but still cool and the yule ball was er...ok...i hated the last task tho coz well DUH cedric died! sad.gif *tear* sooo not cooL!
linnean
The Yule Ball is definitely my favorite part of GOF. But as far as tasks go, I really liked the underwater task. I thought it was the most inventive of the three.
linnean
Well so far three times. I plan on once more in an IMAX theatre. The more you see it, the less you remember how much of the book was left out.

luckyfish
I thought the third task was so awsome!I would have voted for the yule ball but I thought that it wasn't a task as such dry.gif
I thought the merpeople looked cool and the grindylows were well made! I loved it when harry jumped out of the water in the movie when he got his webbed hands and feet! rolleyes.gif Really great
ntonks3092
Definatly when Harry fought Voldemort. I mean so many things happend there that would change the rest of the books. I mean Cedric died( sad.gif )making cho available for Harry. Voldemort came back(thats a biggy!) . The Priorti Incantardom thing was cool, and well i dont know what effect it had but its still cool. it was just overall very good.
Nero
I like the dragon the most! but the yule ball was a really good part as well so it was kinda hard to choose biggrin.gif

I went to watch it just twice, but if I had more money or the teackets were cheaper, I'd surely go watch it again! Never mind... I'll buy it on DVD... tongue.gif
mel
i've seen it 4 times (i wanna see it again soon though) and so far its my favourite of the HP movies! and i think that fans going and seeing it more than once and inflating the box office takings is a good indication of how popular it is because it proves that it makes ppl go crazy over it. not sure if that really made sense but oh well lol...
Gaiash
saddly only once. But once it comes to DVD I'll beable to watch it as much as I want.
Forgotten Prophecy
I saw it once, I thought it was amazing. Haven't had a chance to see it again, though.
Gryffindor Rock Chick
I saw the film three times. I saw it the first time to of course see it. The other two times was to watch the "finer details" such as the structure, emotion etc. I would have seen it more times but money this time round was a bit low.
Hermione's freak
my favourite task was the first task. it was really coool and awesome! cool.gif i simple loved it! i also liked the second task but the first one was better! oh and yes..i didn't like the third task at all! dry.gif
angel_lily
I like to dance so I would say the Yule Ball. It would be really fun to be with all my friends and dress up. To have two other schools there also would make it even more exciting. biggrin.gif
tuni
Un expected Yule ball scene.that scene really shocked me when i saw that. But all of the charaters in film looking so cute in that scene
