Well, I always thought the whole "waking up" ending was rather clever....even though, if JKR really did it I may just have to kill her.... But, honestly, I think the very worst thing that could happen, no matter how improbable this is, would be if it went something like this in the epilogue "Harry Potter defeated the Dark Lord, but, unfortunately, died walking down the street and tripping over a thumbtack" or something like that....I mean, I feel like, if Harry's going to die, he should die fighting Voldemort. If not, then I think we deserve to see him live to be really really old, or else our time would be rather wasted, in a sense.

I can honestly say that the most terrible ending would be the dream thing. but the most horrible ending would be if Harry failed, and because i'm pretty sure that's not going to happen, i'm going to stik with harry AND one or more of his friends dying, because lets face it- they may be fictoinal book characters but we all love 'em!!

Some of these suggestions are lame! Loads of them are never ever going to happen, i.e. dream thing (what kind of ending would that be? JK Rowling isn't an idiot, she wants her fans to feel relatively satisfied or at least convinced by her ending!). Anyway, my worst endings would involve:

Ron or Hermione dying
Tonks or Remus dying
Harry or Ginny dying

Basically because both Remus and Harry have gone through so much in their lives - they deserve happiness, and any of these events happening would devastate one or both of them.

ok, hows about: harry (very nobly) dies so voldemort will be vanquished, then THIS happens:
Ron: im so sad harrys dead
Hermione: i still cant believe hes gone!
Ginny: hes not COMPLETELY gone...
Ron; what do you mean Ginny?
Giny: ron-im pregnant with harrys baby
Ron:OMG!!!!
Ron then kills Ginny in a fit of rage, then, horrified by what hes done, kills all the other good characters, including himself. then voldemort come back to life by using his unknown 8th horcrux, and takes over the world. the books ends like this:
"voldemort absolutly loved his new job as minister for magic, his new girlfriend (bellatrix) and all the free pineapple. the only problem in his life was his enormous hangnail, which he was longing to pick at, but couldnt, because Bellatrix had warned him that it would get infected and leave an unightly scar"
THE END

not that this will happen, it would just be sort of bad. Funny though.

The worst possible ending to me is if jk wrote only about the battle and never explained anything alse, I think a stupid ending would be better than an unexplained one! I cant stand it when books and movies just expect you to get it and leave you confused and wondering what happens next or what just occured.

Also if the story just ends and there is no battle, it is just like ok, its over, you can go home now... like if harry just destroyed all the horcruxes and then it says "Harry knew that one day he would find voldemort and he would destroy him when they met, but he would bind his time and Gather friends and love and strenth. He would conquer the dark lord.. THE END" that would be Beyond annoying

BUT I know jk would NEVER do that to us, I have so much hope for this book.

The worst possible ending for me would be when Harry dies and if Ron or Hermione dies.
I think that most people belive that Harry is going to die because of the prophecy.

A 'wake-up' ending would be terrible, but how about a pour water on Voldemort to melt him ending- Wizard of Oz connection

Harry: You killed my parents you monster...Im going to kill you

LV: No Harry you will die tonight

(Harry has knocked LV wand away and is about to kill)

LV: please harry show mercy...i was never loved as a boy...i did not mean to do these terrible things...please give me a second chance.

Harry being kind and what not agrees.
The magical world is at peace and LV tries to make up for what he did...but everyone lives more or less happily ever after.

I have three that would make me tear up my books and never say anything about HP ever again:

Harry turned to face Voldemort. Sweat was pouring down his face. He had the distinct feeling in the bottom of his stomach that he was about to die. He was gonna die the same way that Ginny, Ron, and Hermione did. He raised his wand and leveled it at Voldemort's heart.
Cold laughter filled the air as Voldemort looked at Harry. "So Harry, still going to make one last stand are we?" sneered Voldemort. "Let's make this quick."
At that moment both Harry and Voldemort shouted their killing curses at each other.

Harry's eyes opened to a bright white light. He had no idea where he was at, but he could hear people moving around him. His eyes adjusted to the light and he saw a man wearing a white coat standing above him. The man smiled down at him and appeared to call to someone, though Harry couldn't quite comprehend anything at the moment. He felt exhausted and stuck to where he was laying down. He could see the man trying to talk to him and he slowly started to understand what the man was saying.

"Harry. Harry, can you hear me? Can you speak?" said the man.

"Where am I?" replied Harry at little above a whisper. He felt like he hadn't used his voice for days. Was he in St. Mungo's? Suddenly, he remembered."VOLDEMORT!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO VOLDEMORT?"

"Voldemort?" said the man, a curious expression on his face. "Who's Voldemort?"

"The Dark Lord! I was fighting him! Who brought me here? What happened?" So many questions were flooding into his head at the present moment he definitely would not be able to get them all out.

"Harry, you haven't been fighting anyone. You've been here in this bed for eight years now. You went into a coma after the car crash you were in." replied the doctor now looking concerned.

"Car crash? What car crash?" And then it suddenly dawned on him. Harry looked down at his hands. They were smaller than he remembered them. Much too small it seemed for any 17 year old boy. "How old am I? Where am I? Where are my parents?" It couldn't really have all been a dream. No, there was too much there. It just couldn't have been could it, Harry thought.

"You're at the London General Hospital and you're nine years old." replied the doctor.

"Where are my parents?" Harry asked anxiously. Well at least he could have his parents back again.

"I'm sorry Harry, you're parents died in the accident. There was nothing we could do. It was a miracle you made it out with nothing but that scar."

Nicole clocked in. She had been working at the institution for several months now and she had never been late yet. How could she be late? So many people were counting on her, albeit some were beyond help. "Hi Darcy." Nicole said as she entered the main office.

"Hey Nicki. How ya doing?" replied Darcy. She had started the same time as Nicole had and the two had become good friends. They both even shared the same curiosity about one patient.

"I'm alright. Same old, same old." replied Nicole. "How's he doing tonight?"

"Same as every night I suppose. Just sitting there with that vacant expression on his face. I really wonder what he sees in his mind. And what are those things he shouts every now and then?"

"I don't know. Almost sounds like he's pretending he's in a magic show. I thought I heard him say abra kadabra the other day, or something like that. I'll go check on him."

Nicole walked down the hallway to room seven and looked in. There he was, as always, sitting there. Seemingly off somewhere else in his head. It was sad really. He had simply cracked one day apparently. His parents had no choice but to put him here and had only visited him sparingly.There sat a young boy with messy dark brown hair and bright green eyes which drew your attention immediately. The only other noticable thing about him was on his forehead. A tiny scar.

Harry ran down the corridor as he had never run in his entire life. If he could only get to the veil room he might have a chance to get them back. It was his fault that they died after all, and he would never forgive himself if he didn't try to get them back. Suddenly, he heard the familiar harsh cold laugher behind him and a green light shot right past his ear. Harry stopped and turned, wand at the ready.
"Going to try to get your friends back are you Harry?" said Voldemort. "It wouldn't have worked even if you could get to the veil anyway. No one comes out from behind it. No one can come back to life Harry, and that is why there is nothing worse than death."
"You're wrong!" screamed Harry. "I can get them back. I can bring Ron and Hermione back. I can get Ginny back too. You took them away from me; I'll kill you!" Harry screamed a killing curse at Voldemort that ricocheted off the wall behind Voldemort and shattered a statue on the side of him.
"Now, now Harry. Dumbledore wouldn't have wanted you to resort to Dark Magic now would he? It's okay though, it doesn't matter much. You'll be with him soon enough, he can tell you himself. If you want to go behind the veil so much, let me help you. Avada Kedavra!"
Harry saw the green light shoot from the wand and saw it coming for him. He had no where to go. In an instant he felt the light hit him and then felt nothing. A lifeless form hit the ground and the cold, harsh laughter filled the hallway.
"Nothing could save you in the end Harry." said Voldemort to Harry's lifeless body. "Not love, not your friends, not your filthy half-blood mother, not even you're little scar."

Let's see ...

Harry's ears were ringing with the sudden silence that surrounded him. The mist hovered over the scene of distruction that was Hogwarts. Ron and Hermione were alittle way away, coughing in the smoke. Harry smiled in spite of himself. His friends were ok, and that was all that mattered.

but in the end, it was for the better. All the Horcuxes had been destroyed, and Harry wasn't going to stop at anything. Not after coming this far.

"Harry?" Ron said, and put a hand on his shoulder. Hermione did so likewise, nd Harry hugged them both.

"Come on Harry. Let's go home." Hermione said. They turned to leave when Harry's one and only love, Cho Chnag came up and kissed him. Harry couldn't believe how happy he was-Cho survived.

"I knew you'd make it." Harry told her, grinning. "You're made of strong stuff."

You're made of stronger." Cho told him.

Harry now knew that even if Ron and Hermione died, it didn't matter. As long as he had Cho-everything would be ok.

The End.

Once again, Harry could be found in a distant graveyard. Behind him stood Ron and Hermione, faithful to the end. Before him was the Dark Lord, standing cold and grim in all his dismal glory.

"So, this is to be the end," thought Harry as he stared into those pitious red eyes. "Well, I suppose all that is left ot do is to take as many of them with me in the time I have." He nodded to Ron and Hermione, and all three raised their wands, ready for this, the last stand, when Voldemort started to speak.

"Well, Harry Potter. We meet again for the last time. But before you die, there is something you must know about us."

"Let me guess, you're my father." Sneered Harry.

"No, Harry. I am Professor Dumbledore." And with a sweep of his long fingers, he pulled off his hood to reveal Albus Dumbledore with his flowing beard. The red glowing eyes he had seen previously reverted back to their dancing and malicious blue ones.

Harry stood dumbfounded before him.

"But, how can this be? We saw you fall." Ron said, in a confused manner.

"Ah, well you didn't see what you thought you saw." Dumbledore said, quite pleasantly, though his wand was still directly pointed at Harry's Heart. "There never was a Lord Voldemort. All through my life, I have wanted more than control of Hogwarts. I wanted absolute power. So, I orchestrated a shadowy figure twenty some odd years ago who would be the bogeyman that would aid me on my quest. I invented Lord Voldemort, and gathered an army in his name to wreak havoc. And I have succeeded."

"But, the memoires in the pensieve? The battle at the Ministry? The Graveyard? He was always there? I saw him!" Wailed a bewildered Harry.

"Voldemort was never there. Twas I. When I was unable to act out the part, I had Severus do it."

"But Snape killed you."

"No. He began to have second thoughts about it, and meant to kill me, but i saw it coming and preempted him by taking the draught of living death. THen I had him killed by the House Elves, who cooked him and fed him to you students."

"Is that what we ate?" Ron asked looking sick.

"One way or the other, I accomplished it, and now Harry you die."

Dumbledore raised his wand and shouted a curse. A glint of green light was dispersed accross the graveyard and hit Harry in the chest.


Harry woke up with a start. Goosebumps covered his arms, and his sheets were coated in sweat.

"It was Dumbledore. Dumbledore is the Dark Lord!"

The door openned and a tall, gaunt man entered the room.

"WHat is it now, Potter?" the man sneered.

"It was Dumbledore. He killed my parents!"

Hurried footsteps approached the bed.

"Potter, you must quiet down with your delusions. Ward Chief Dumbledore did nothing of the sort. Your having a nightmare. Now quiet down before..."

A man in a neighboring bed woke up. Even in the dark, his wavy blonde hair and glittering smile were evident.

"Will you quiet down and give a famous man his rest? I was thinking of my reply to Gladys Gudgeon."

The man continued rambling on about his "exploits" with a whole host of beasts. The gaunt man and his colleague left, after shootign Harry a disgruntled look.

"I say, Minerva, we've never had a day of peace and quiet in St. Mungo's since the arrival of that bloke who "claims" he has a lightning bolt scar."

WORST ENDING
would have to be the dream thing.
the second worst thing would be harry dying though i wouldnt be completly upset. i thin khes going to live.

ok...the worst possible ending would of course be the dream one...i would die...
but second place goes to ANY character coming back to life. Dd and sirius rock, i know, but either of them coming back is just cliche and stupid. dumby living in a portrait or harry being able to use the pensieve is fine, but dumbledore coming back in physical form, able to do magic, is stupid. dumbledore can give harry some guidance but cannot come back to life.
characters dying is fine, in fact welcomed, because if done well, will make the book better. even harry dying, though if he does, i doubt j.k.r. will let voldy live too. there are little kids reading these, and the ultimate truimph of evil could be very traumatic to an eight-year-old.

I have got two possible worst ends (I hope they will never be written in the Deathly Hallows' pages):

·Harry loses in his fight against Voldemort,so the deat eathers and the Dark Lord would control the Wizard's world.Besides,all the people in the good side will be killed by them:Weasley family,the order of the phoenix and Ron and Hermione,of course.

·Harry wakes up from a big dream that he had had and he realises that he continues living in Dursley's house and there aren't any Hogwarts letter.He would go to a public High School and the Magic's world had never existed.

worse than the dream: Harry is really an autistic kid and the whole thing was an alternate world he created in his mind (see 80s tv show St. Elsewhere ), meaning he still lives with the Dursley's and he's in Special Education at public school.

btw, Daniel Radcliffe had an interview with German Vanity Fair, and said he's looking forward to playing "the death scene" in the seventh movie, Dumbledore is not dead, and HPDH is actually coming out 7.7.07. i can't find the article on the website anymore, but if you want to try and find it yourself go ahead.

That would be horrible but I think that a dream would just be the worst ever.
But Hey i would love to have a dream like that.

The only drawback with this theory is that Mrs. Rowling herself has said that she is not going to write any spinoff books..so if she just leaves it with harry pursuing voldy till the end of time, the that leaves an open ended series with no finish. I dont believe she would do that to us.

Definitely the worst possible ending would be that Harry dies, but not before making "love" to Ginny at least one time, and then she gets pregnant from that one time (of course!) and after his death is seen living with a married Ron and Hermione and all their various red and brown-haired children while she raises her sole black-haired boy, who is apart from the rest, and looks JUST like Harry, and reminds Ginny of her "beloved" lover, except that he does not have, on his forehead, a SCAR. The end! (This ending is reminiscent of that of "Cold Mountain," if it looks familiar...).

So yeah, I would definitely gag at that ending, almost as much as at the equally bad thought of Harry and Ginny married with 12 kids! I think I might actually prefer Harry dead to married to Ginny, though not in the way described above of course. I also gag at the thought of Ginny being killed by Voldemort, and then THIS, his "LOVE" for his slain Ginny, is what gives him the power he needs to defeat Voldemort once and for all! Man, I'm feeling queasy just thinking about all these cheesy and corny endings! So yeah, those are for me the worst possible endings for DH, with the top one being the worst by far....

Oh, and Dan just said that JK said it was more complicated than just Dumbledore being dead, not that he was still alive...she specifically said he wasn't "going to pull a Gandalf", aka come back from the dead still alive! Sirius is another story, lol...

And yeah if it was a dream it'd have to be more like a coma or insanity (like in the episode "Normal Again" in the show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), which could be interesting lol...but a huge waste of time! But while JK is pretty cheesy and corny sometimes, I don't think she'd be that corny and cheesy....

i think the worst ending would be ginny dying because she was protecting harry and hermione dying because she was trying to protect harry ginny and ron well especially ron. but yea and the second worst ending would be for this to eb a dream of James' before they went into hiding.

Thought of another one....

The halls of the castle built at Godric's Hollow were draped in black as were the people walking through it. Never had Ginny felt so much anguish or seen her own feelings reflected on so many faces before. Everyone seemed to be thinking the same thing; it was over. No one had any hope any more. As Ginny sat down in the large room, she looked around at the people sitting around her; she barely recognized a single one of them. Of course, a funeral like this one would attract many people and this would probably be the last time anyone saw all of these faces alive again.
A short, squat man got up at the front of the hall and began to speak.

"The boy who lived," he began, "He was perhaps the bravest among us, never faltering on his journey to do what he felt was right. In this dark time, we must now do our best to remember him. He who fought against the greatest evil of our time, and perished in the process. We must all follow his example and stand up against He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Harry showed many qualities at such a young age that many adult wizards find it hard to acquire. Resourcefullness, determination, loyalty, but most importantly; caring. This young man was one who cared for all. Many of you here were shown this side of him at one time or another and can attest to his greatness. He alone tried to bear the burden of the wizarding world, and unfortunately was crushed by it. My friends, I say, that in this dark time, we must all bear the burden, and by doing that we may be able to see the light again one day."

At this the man stopped talking and walked to a smooth, polished mahogany casket laid at the front of the hall. He placed a hand on the occupant inside of it and bowed, then he moved on. Ginny looked around and saw that many people stood there, seemingly transfixed at the casket at the front of the room, many of them crying. Ginny felt the tears start to trickle down her cheek. She moved out of her seat and made her way up to the front of the hall. Like the speaker, she put her hand inside the casket and took the cold, lifeless hand of it's occupant. Inside it was the boy she loved. The boy who she had adored ever since such a young age. His hair black and untidy even in death, and she knew that if he could open his eyes there would be bright green emeralds staring up at her just as they had done so many times before. She bent down and for the last time kissed the forehead of the boy with the small, lightening bolt scar.

i was reading another forum earlier today and someone asked if voldemort can swim. and i think if voldemort drowned it would be a good contender.

i think i remember in one interveiw that JKR said she was going to kill off Harry so no one could carry on the Harry Potter series

If that's how the book ends, everyone will be really ****ed off so I doubt it. That's seven books! Do you really thnk she'll leave any loose ends? I don't think so.

If ever that happens, I'll go crazy and hunt her down and tell her to re-write it all over.

Okay so like the worst possible ending would be something that would never happen, something like I dunno......Harry killing Ginny! Basically something that would never in a thousand years happen. Harry dieing, yeah that would be the worst.

If it ends like that, I'd be pretty disappointed;
She said that she didn't want anyone to continue writing Harry Potter books after she's finished the series or dies, so I think she'll give a definite end to the series, either going furhter in future, as telling us what happens with their lives, or just about the end of the seventh and last year of Harry's time at Hogwarts as a Student.

Okay this would be my definition of THE WORST ending of the Harry Potter Saga.
1. Harry Dies
2. Hermione is forced by Voldemort to use her brains to kill other mudbloods or she will be killed
3. Voldemort takes control of everything, magical and muggle.
4. Kills the muggle race(Which includes us!!! )
5. Ron is executed after telling Voldemort what the magic that protected Harry was(LOVE )
6. Voldemort forces Hermione to marry Draco (this is horrible to me, but a lot of people actually think they should be together...)
7. Cho Chang won't stop screaming "EVERY ONE THAT I DATED DIED!!! I AM GOING TO BE A LONELY CAT WOMAN!!!"

Most of this is completely impossible, but still, wouldn't this be AWFUL? It would keep me from sleeping, thinking "How could J.K. POSSIBLY leave us with something like that?" But I will probably be staying awake anyway thinking, "Wow. Harry Potter is over... Wow. It's so sad that *blank* died, though..."

I think that the worst ending would be if Harry committed suicide, especially if he did so before killing Voldemort or destroyed the Horcruxes.

Can't you just picture it... Harry staggers forward, as though entranced. He hears Hermione's and Ginny's shouting voices in the background, sounding miles away. Someone's arm is on his - he must shake it off. Right now, there is no right and there is no wrong. There is only one choice. He must... get... behind... that... veil...

Actually I think that would be a pretty sweet ending, lol --like, he finally realizes what an irritating little Mary Sue she is, and does the world a favor by ridding it of said Mary Sue--if Harry killed Ginny I would cheer! But as you said, it's sadly unlikely to happen....

JKR would never do that! She loves Ginny, and no one ever kills off their Mary Sue.
Worst possible ending? I think Harry finnaly killing LV and saving the wizarding world, and then getting hit by a truck or something. I would laugh.

Or maybe the snake from the first book sufficated Harry and put him into a coma for seven years and then in the end he wakes up and it was all a dream. That would really really suck.

Worst ending: Harry kills Voldermort by saying his name backwards, 'tromredlov'.

Worst ending #2: If any of my fav. characters die, unless they're given a beautiful tribute and they died in a herioc way...

Worst ending #3: Rowling lied to us all and there will be a book number 8, but only after all her kiddies have reached the age of 18. And we're left on a cliff hanger. I would not be impressed

Wow, there are some really great "worst possible ending" entries. I have to say that my favorite one is from Tarquin the Proud. I have to hand it to you, that was some pretty deep and well thought out stuff. I don't think I can top it so I'm not going to shame myself and try. Maybe after I have some time to mull things over, I'll try my hand But for now, I bow down before you!!

i really don't see j.k.r just leaving us all hanging like that. she said that the last chapter is like the epilogue, it's when she raps everything up and tells about what everyonje who survives goes on to do. apparently the last word in the book is "scar". now think, if the last chapter is an epilogue, and the last word is "scar" it could end with harry dieing, or possibly in the birth of his first child?(the baby iether would or wouldn't have his famous scar prob not) but the series will definately end @ the end of this book.

Worst Possible Ending- After finding the cold form of Mrs. Weasley Harry petrifies Ginny so that she doesn't follow him into danger. Harry finds Snape who has killed MAlfoy because Malfoy realized that the right side to be on was Harry's. Snape killed him for disloyalty to the Dark Lord. Harry kills Snape in a fit of rage after Snape repeatedly insulted Harry, his family, and his friends. Harry finds a clue to where the last horcrux is. He leaves Snape's abode and finds the horcrux and sucessfully destroys it. Just as he has destroyede it Voldemort turns up. HE is horrified becuase one by one he has gone around checking his horcrux's and they are all destroyed. Slightyly fearful he challenges Harry to a wizards duel. To Voldemort's suprise Harry is very cool and collected in appearance but on the inside he is weary to the bone. While they battle testing each others limits Harry throws back the words that Voldemort said to him in the graveyard three years ago,
"I want to see the life leave your eyes!"
Harry finally kills Voldemort. But the shock of him having killed his life long nemisis he can think of nothing that could make hm keep living. So he apparates to the Ministry of Magic and finds his way to the Department of Mysteries and steps threw the veil.

THE END

Worst Possible Ending- After finding the cold form of Mrs. Weasley Harry petrifies Ginny so that she doesn't follow him into danger. Harry finds Snape who has killed MAlfoy because Malfoy realized that the right side to be on was Harry's. Snape killed him for disloyalty to the Dark Lord. Harry kills Snape in a fit of rage after Snape repeatedly insulted Harry, his family, and his friends. Harry finds a clue to where the last horcrux is. He leaves Snape's abode and finds the horcrux and sucessfully destroys it. Just as he has destroyede it Voldemort turns up. HE is horrified becuase one by one he has gone around checking his horcrux's and they are all destroyed. Slightyly fearful he challenges Harry to a wizards duel. To Voldemort's suprise Harry is very cool and collected in appearance but on the inside he is weary to the bone. While they battle testing each others limits Harry throws back the words that Voldemort said to him in the graveyard three years ago,
"I want to see the life leave your eyes!"
Harry finally kills Voldemort. But the shock of him having killed his life long nemisis he can think of nothing that could make hm keep living. So he apparates to the Ministry of Magic and finds his way to the Department of Mysteries and steps threw the veil.

Woh im glad i read through the last posts, i was just about to write how the worst possible ending for me would be for Dumbledore to be a secret death eater or somehow connected or in league with voldemort and all this time hes been setting harry up so he would be killed!! as Dumbledore is my all time fave character it would be an awful ending!! thankfully i saw Tarquin the Proud's brilliant entry and didnt make a fool of myself, and mine wouldnt have been as skillfully written as yours so well done !!

i dont think the worst possible ending would be one of my favorite characters dying, as long as it is doen in a tasteful way. i think the worst possible ending would be a " and they lived happily ever afte, the end" one, because as much as that is one that we all want, it would be very forced nad phony. it has to be dark, theats the directionthat the story's been heading since then end of book 4.
but on the other hand, something so drastic as the entirie wizarding world being wiped out by voldemort, now that would be pretty bad too.

that is very interesting..... but i dont think that she would leave hp fans with such a dissapointing ending in the last book.

If the book did end with a cliffhanger it would suck because this is the last book book and there is VERY high expectations for it. I'd rather see harry die and voldy live because it ends the series, but if there is a cliffhanger i'de be really dissapointed.

Yeah I would hate if she left it open especiallly since it is the last one in the series! That would really suck! I like having a feeling of satisfaction at the ending of a book, especially the last in a series!

harry sacrifices himself and blows him and voldee up in a final battle

or harry can manage to kill voldee somehow but as he has lost so many beloved he just breaks into the Ministry of Magic and walks thru the veil and disappears

though it would be a kinda sad good ending..

The worste possible ending in my oppinion is...

We find out dumbledore is realy and animagus and his animaqgus form is the womping willow and that mconagol is realy voldermort in desguise and kills harry by beating him to death with a tarten handbag. Then when hermione finaly get together and kiss on the top of the north tower ron gets that exited that he accidently pushed her off then she falls to her death and then he jumps off to follow her.
