I agree that Ginny should be more involved in the film, because the people who haven't read the books (shame on them) get to know her better, and it is possible for Harry to ..."discover" her..if you understand what I mean. We all know that Ginny developed so much in the 6 books, so why not in the movies?
Also I think that Sirius should be more in the film because it's his last one...

As much as I would like to see more Ginny in OotP, I do not want the writers to create things that are not in the books. Lets face it, Ginny is non-existent until HBP. To suddenly create all these parts for her would not be true to the book. I wish Rowling had written more about Ginny but she forgot all about her. OotP is going to be cut up too much as it is. We do not need the writers creating scenes that do not exist and cut those that do.

harry should have the largest role in the film. And I think there should be alot of scenes for Sirius and less for Hagrid. it wouldn't be a great movie if Sirius' scenes would be shortened. not unless the parts where he scolded Kreacher, although it was really funny.

i think Ginny Weasley should have a larger part in the Order of the Phoenix well because i love her and she has to have a big part in the DA Club because she fights alot in there and i hope they will give her a big part in the movie. that would be awesome

About that pic on the guy that's playing young Sirius, a guy at my school would have looked better for the part as Sirius. I mean that picture is ghastly (uhh). Anyway picturing him in my imagination he looks really hot. Long and dark with beautyful chestnut eyes, Long dark hair (not as long as the grown-up Sirius in PoA but it reaches to above his shoulders), a straight and kind of aristocratic nose and a beautyful smile with white and sparkling theets. So maybey you understand that seeing the picture kind of gave me a bit of a chock. So I seriously hope that in some way it's the wrong picture. Othervise I'll just have to hope that many hours of make-up make him look a bit more like I imagined him. And then again I could be totally wrong maybey he's a total hottie but not very fotogenic. Then again I was really wrong about the guy who played Cedric (Who's by the way a total hottie). The fist time I saw him was on a very bad not flattering picture. And look how wrong I turned out to be about him. I just hope that I can do the same mistake again.

Ohh writing the things above I had just read page 1& 2, meaning I had just seen the first pic of him. The other 2 are so much better. It just make me so happy that he might live up to the Sirius I excpected him to be. Anyway it's a big improvement.

Ginny's gonna have a bigger role in Half-Blood Prince, so it seems like common sense to integrate her more with the trio now. She does play a part in snapping Harry out of his tantrums, so she's kind of important. I hate that she usually gets 1-2 lines in each film, but I'm glad that in Goblet of Fire, Newell showcased her (and Neville) a bit more -- one of the few things he did right with that film, but that's another topic...

I'd be really dissapointed if they didn't have Firenze (hope they get the colour right this time) but i want Magorian to, i won't be at piece till i see Umbridge thoroughly beaten by the centaurs! *cough*

Grawp will be in the movie. Perhaps, they will show Grawp after Ron's game. Even though that's not the way it is in the book. but i would really like to see the effect of the Felix Felicis on Ron! hehe.

I thought that Fireze is too important to leave out... without him, there would be no reason for Trelawney to keep drinking and need to use the room of requirement to hide her bottles in the 6th movie (and walk in on Malfoy whooping happily) without him.

BUT... I just went to look, and there is no Firenze listed in the cast... there is Bane and Magorian, but no Firenze!!!!! and the actors for those are listed regularly, where the actor for Grawp is listed as "voice" which means that the centaurs are changing to real actors instead of totally computer generated, but Grawp will be computer generated and acted in voice only.

They have to put Serious in a lot to make it really sad when he dies. And they HAVE to put in plenty of DA and Umbridge scenes because that's pretty much what the book is about up 'till the very end.

I hope Sirius will become a huge part of the movie "OoTP." I hope they make a huge deal about him, I mean, we see him very little in the 4th movie, and personally I think Serius deserves more. He's Harry's closest thing to family (becides the Dursley's), and we all know he's going to vanish completely in the 6th book. So why not make us all get attached to him in the 5th movie so that when he "dies" by falling behind the veil we all care a little more.

Grawp is in! I was absolutely sure about it...and I am actually really happy...i don't know....he isn't really necessary but he gives more action in the film and the scene where he is fighting with centaurs is full of action!!!!I luv these two scenes...you can easily imagine HPOoTP posters!!Some with DOM sets and all the rooms full of deatheaters etc. but some others in the woods with Thestrals, Centaurs and Grawp...it is great!I cannot wait

I don't know how any of it will work without firenze! I guess they'll just ignore that fact that there is no teacher after Trelawney gets sacked. They won't show divination after that. I agree that it would be stupid to assume that the centaurs would get so furious simply because of Grawp, and I guess they will make the point about Umbridge hating half-breeds simply using Hagrid... it's a great loss to the story, though.

I also think that JKR had a reason for bringing Firenze in, and keeping him through the 6th book. I think he will be important in the 7th. Why else would she even have mentioned him, and how upset Trelawney is about his being there in the 6th book?

The movie is well into production, they would have cast the part if it were to be played.

I think that he must not be really necessary in 7th book...it is quite simple because the scene in which Trelawney is sacked has been filmed...and none has said that Firenze is included in the cast of this scene...or, the scene will be finished like that

I'm pretty sure that Graup won't make the movie. He's just not important enough... And after all he doesn't have that big part in the book either, but it would be fun to se him on the screen though. Especially to see how tall he is, if he (like Hagrid) is too short.

Firenze is completely computer generated in the first movie, but his voice was provided by Ray Fearn, a very handsome gentelman with a GREAT voice!

The centaurs in this movie seem to be actors, perhaps computer enhanced, but they are listed as actors, not as voice only, so it is likely that the centaus will look more human this time, as they should according to the book. I was disappointed at the look of Firenze in the Sorcerer's Stone. In the 5th book, the girls are all enfatuated with him, so has to look more human than he was portrayed in the first movie.

Guess evanescence is right in how he will be mentioned, although I'm not so sure that he will be unnecessary in Book 7. I still think JKR has kept him on for more than just a replacement teacher.

yeah, it is weird because WB hasn;t confirmed if Firenze is in or not and at the same time his role is not in the rolelist!!!Grrr... it would be a magical scene!!!!!And a breakthru from the whole film...just imagine how beautiful the interior forest would be!!!I hope that the scene would be "in"!!!!I have to pray...

Mmm, yes, im pretty satisfied wit it, but i think fred n george should have a lil bit of a larger role in the movies. i mean c'mon, who doesnt love those pranksters? n they, in my opinion, would add a lot more fun and character into the movies. If they ave a bigger role, then ppl could see them in more dramatic situations. and we would see more of their life in hogwarts, like their frends, their romantic interests (if they have any), and more. I know i would like to see more of them. who's with me?

In the past movies he's barley mentioned, so they'll have to make up for that in this film, it's their last chance... But I'm scared that they'll only show him for a short while in Grimmauld place and the dying scene. That would be terrible, I mean it wouldn't even be sad and it really has to be sad!!! It's Sirius!

ok siruis was cut from the kings cross scene but i still think he will have a decent role in this one i am sure ther will just be a few scenes where harry and siruis will just talk. and then i hope his battle scene with bellatryx will be gigantic

well people say that grawp isnt a main character but it does make a difference to hagrids tale and why hez been beaten an brused!!!! so i fink itz good that he iz in the film although i want 2 c every last detail in the film so dont listen 2 me!!!!lol!!!!

I don't think they can leave out the sacking of Trelawney, they just won't show the class after that. They will probably mention that Firenze is teaching, and Umbridge will make nasty "half-breed" comments. It's important for Trelawney to get sacked so that she becomes a drunk and needs a place to hide her bottles in HBP. She finds the way into the room of requirement and finds Draco whooping!

I still think that Firenze is going to be more important than just a replacement teacher. Why else would JKR have mentioned him again in HBP, and kept him on after all was back to normal at Hogwarts. She only repeats what's important to keep it in mind.

He's not in this movie... I think it's a mistake, but it's too late for them to add another character now. I think it's sad that IMPORTANT characters like Firenze and Peeves are left out AGAIN!!!!!

How amazing could that scene have been where the Weasley twins leave Hogwart's, when they set off Peeves to take over for them to torture Umbridge!

I know that the books are long and things have to be left out, but I think they save some boring and unimportant points and leave out lots of important and amusing things.
