We can't be Pott heads, it would be funny if it were a bunch of teens and adults who read the books, although if people hear us say it they may try to send us to rehab...but little kids read this books to. Can you imagine if some little eight year old were to go up to her mom and be like "Hey mom! Guess what! I'm a Pott head!" I know it sounds funny but Oh My God, the trouble that that would cause! lol!

Muggle Mary i love that Potterphile but i am so used to Pottheads because that is what my dad has always called me and my mom I know strange and it doesn't sound exactly correct but that is what most people call us so i say just stick with it we can't change the world's opinion about us so why try we should just be who we are Pottheads,Pottermaniacs, or Potterphiles. Be proud of you Potterfandom and live life to the fullest extent and enjoy Harry Potter.

I must say, Rowling Stones had me dying with laughter , and it really is a shame about the Pottheads issue. I mean, it is a really good name for us Harry Potter fans, but it is bad that because of society we'l be chucked off to rehab if we even mention it!

Ah well, I haven't really been able to come up with any more names for us HP Fanatics. Oh, I also liked the Potterphiles, that was a good one too .

I like potterologist. It sounds smart. Scientific. And since I know more about Harry Potter than about whats going on in my science class it fits. But I don't think we get to pick our name. In which case I'm pretty sure we're stuck with Pottheads, that's what I've heard other people call us most. So, to rehab it is I guess....

I agree, we can't do much about what other people call us anyways. It's their opinion of us. Besides, it's true. Anybody who is sitting in here having this conversation is obviously obsessed, otherwise, why would you care? So, it's true, we're addicted to Harry Potter, and if other people have a problem with it...Well, it's their problem, not ours. And besides, if people send us off to rehab for being on drugs [thinking by Pottheads we mean we're on pot] well, they are going to try and get us off the wrong thing anyways, so basically we'll get to hang out at rehab for a few weeks, free food and bed! And nothing bad happens to us! Ha, this is actually starting to sound like a pretty good deal this whole rehab buisness....

I like dumbledores army and potterinos thats a great name. i have to agree that potheads does sound slightly bad. i generally just call myself and my sister calls me it as well a HP freak, which is definately what some people think we are

hhhhhmmmmmmmmm the only one i could think of myself is "Potterholics" its simple but it works and has a nice ring to it(sorry if anyone else 4t of this i only read a few posts.) my favourites that others have thought of are Potteroligists, pottheads, potterphiles (altho thats a bit dodgy), dumbledores army and W.A.N.D.S!!

I think The Pottheads name is really funny, but say if you were like meeting a new friend, and you went " Guess what? Im a potthead" Theyd walk away, obviously thinking that you were some junkie or something. Dumbledores army is a good 'un actually. I can imagine using that. I think Potterites wouldn't be a bad name... I stumbled upon it while reading a magazine here in RP. It seems cool so me and my friends who are HP addicts called ourselves Potterites, and we formed this group called United Potterites because the new members are like, connected to us only by our friends. Get it?

I had this temporary tattoo of a broomstick and a snitch with the words "most valuable player" around it and I was like, ranting, when it stuck to my socks, and I was saying things like, "I'm not a D.A anymore!!!"

My friends usually call me a "Potthead" because of the double entendre and because everyone knows I've never used the herb which makes it even funnier...for them.

My friends around her call us Potterfreaks. Not very creative, but it works for me. I refer to the world of HP as Potterdom. But overall my friends just think we're freaks. But they like HP too just not to the extent that I do!

Actually, surprising as it sounds i have never been called a name that had anything to do with harry potter. None of my friends like harry potter, but they don't make fun of me for liking it.

I personally love the idea of M.U.G.G.L.E.S. (Magic-Ultraists-Gon-Lunatic Exceptional Society), but then we would have to explain the meaning to people:

The most common name that i have heard from people is that people who love Harry Potter are called Potterhead's. I dont know ive never heard the term Pottheads. I kinda like the idea of Potterheads better because you can say it and people not ask what are you talking about!

Why not come up with something not directly Harry related? There could be something about Muggle Members of the Order of the Phoenix. It could be shortened or rearranged. I don't know. It isn't really that good of an idea.

Hmm.. that's a possibility but I'm not sure people that don't know the series very well would understand if we called ourselves something like, Buckbeak's worshipers.

Ron_luver_4_life is right. There are many different levels of Harry Potter fans. I think the most loving ones, the ones that are on VTM five times a day for example, are Pottheads or Potterheads. Even though Pottheads gives off the wrong message, it's still understood by most. Hmm, I don't know.
