Do u think Emma is getting better every film?

she was ok in the first one but in the second and thrid one she was getting pretty good.

I agree with you. She was ok in SS, then in CoS and PoA, she got wayyyyy better at acting..and her appearance seems to be changing for the better too. SS: Her hair was like whoa! CoS: She looks really nice in wavy, soft curls! PoA: She got a haircut and it matches her pretty well..those are my opinions..

o yes, she got a lot better. im not saying she was bad. but she seems to be getting more intact with hermione, and acting better in each new film.
maybe she watched PS/SS and CoS before filming started for PoA and saw what techniques she could do better.

She was okay in the third film for me (I normally hate her....I'm trying to get over hating people) I totally despised her in the first and second films.

That punch didn't really look like a good punch to me though...it made me very upset.

I agree NastyShort, it sure sounded like a punch but I was disappointed when it didn't actually look like one.. but we MUST give credit to Emma & Tom.. Tom said somewhere that he and Emma rehearsed that scene over and over just to make sure Emma didn't actually hurt him and if she did.. she'll be cruisin for a bruisin.. lol..just kidding..

Well she's growing better.
She is way better in PoA and thanks to Alfonso, she gets to wear jeans and tie her bushy hair in a bun.

I don't like emma that much, i thoght i was jelous but uh uh it was just her bad fashion sense...REALLY i have never seen a 14-year old who walks around like that but i think she's a good actress and hope that she gets some other offers after HP!

Emma is a good actress, I guess. But I reckon she was more like Hermione in the first film by some reason. In the third film, there was a certain amount of Hermione-like bossy-ness which was lost. Hm. Well, that's just my opinion.

Oh, and I agree... her punch wasn't that good. Was sort of ill-aimed, and fell off to one side.

yeah. i definetely think shes got a lot better since the first one- she was pretty terrible in it! she looks prettier now and is a lot better at acting. i think dan has got better too. and yeah, the punch was disappointing- it shoud've been a full on b**ch slap! faaaaaaar more impressive!

yeah, she's gotten way better i think. acting wise and looks wise. i love her new haircut, it's really beautiful... as is she. and her acting is amazing, i love her portrayal of hermione... it won't be the same if they get someone to replace her in later films, i honestly don't think that anyone could.

I think Emma's really pretty, and her performance in PoA was good. But in the first film, she was much more like Hermione, bossy and all.

I think Rupert was a good actor to start out with. Emma and Dan, however, have improved a lot.

I think she's a great actress, but I hate her. I think she has ruined Hermione. Plus, she is so preppy, so snobby, a little too into her looks, a little too mature for her age, and she REALLY needs to stop flirting with Dan!

Emma Watson is my favourite actress. She's pretty and all. I kinda look like her, but my hair is more darker than hers. I hope she becomes big in the future.

From what I've seen of her in interviews, she seems like a really nice person. She's well brought up, polite and speaks as though she has a pretty good head on her shoulders. Plus a lot of the older cast - Alan, for one - thinks that all three of them are really great kids.

Emma comes across as someone who isn't comfortable in the limelight...you can tell how self-conscious she is about herself.

Not knowing her personally, of course, I'm not really in a position to judge, but all the same....

And I think she's a much better actress than people give her credit for. For someone to be that self-conscious in her real-life and so confident when acting...that makes her a pretty good actress in my eyes. I've seen some British kids in things over here...the soaps like Eastenders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, that kind of thing...who can't act their way out of a paper bag.

I can see why Emma and the others stood out......

Wow, I didn't think that she was that preppy,and I am a person who doesn't like preppy people that much at all. I don't see what the fuss about her is.., but you guys are entitled to your own opinons.

Ok, I think Emma's a way cool actress. She's very good, I mean, she can play every scene: humor, sadness, anger... When I see her playing a scene i believe it. And that's what makes someone a good actor.
Everyone his own opinion, but I think its a bit low to insult Emma that way. And I don't think she's flirting with dan. And even if she is, so what? That was not were this topic was about.. I hope i don't break any rules now by saying this but i just wanna hold a nice atmosphere here

i think emma acting is just getting worse she wasnt in her cahracter in the third movie as much as she was in the second and first but she is only getting better in her looks than her acting.

overall, she seems to have the acting donw, but JKR NEVER mentions buns or straight hair until The Yule Ball, and only then!
