You can say it: It's a stupid question.
It's morbid too...

But i want to know what you think about it.

ROFL! I absolutely love this poll, MiM3-Dan4Ever! And you've hit the nail on the head, my friend... soon as I saw the topic title, the first thing that occurred to me was "whoa, that's morbid!"
All right, then... Harry's burial site depends on the circumstances of his death and really his entire life situation at the time of his, um, departure. If Voldemort kills him, he definitely has to be buried at Godric's Hollow near his parents' graves -- it's where the story began, and it's where the story ends, you know? Plus you'd have the nice little importance of family theme going...

If he dies of old age at the end of a very long, happy life (full of Death Eaters and murders and the like), I'd say bury him at Hogwarts, near Dumbledore. Give him his own special white tomb -- hasn't Harry always said that Hogwarts is his home? Plus, I like the idea of him and Dumbledore being put on an equal plane at the end; they're probably the two greatest wizards of the time.
I have a hard time seeing Grimmauld Place unless Harry ultimately takes up some sort of permanent residence there -- it's gloomy, it's depressing, his only emotions associated with the house are negative, and beyond that, Sirius's body isn't even there to the best of our knowledge. Similarly, I don't know about the graveyard where he fought Voldemort (I assume you're talking about the end of GoF?). That would be a more ironic place to bury Voldemort himself, alongside his Muggle father. Not a strong enough connection with Harry's personal past, though.
Stupid question? No way!

I vote for the garden at Number 4, Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey.
The witches and wizards of the world could turn his gravesite into a shrine and come in droves.
Fitting justice for the Dursleys...

It really depends for me; if Ron and Hermione die, I could definitely see Harry being buried next to them. But it would be just as fitting to have him buried at Godrics Hollow with his parents, as would it be at Hogwarts with DD. So, I really have no idea where he would go.
I have always had one question though: Why was there no funeral for Sirius? They could have taken an empty coffin and had a nice little ceremony to honor him. He really deserves it after being unjustly thrown in Azkaban for 13 years, doesn't he?

Oh, cool my question is not stupid! Glad to see that it's an interresting topic!

I think he will be buried at Hogwarts, or at Godric's Hollow, the others choices are not really possible.
And I like the idea of MayIHaveYourChocolateFrogs.

I just think they would deserve to be plagued by worshipful wizardkind to the end of their days.
I would go for him being buried next to his parents as well.
Feeder--I wonder if it was because Sirius died while still considered a criminal in the eyes of the Ministry? Or was he exonerated?

I said next to his parents because he never knew them and I guess he probably would want to feel a sense of peace and tranquility next to them. I think that his spirit would want his body to remain with his parents' on earth as thats the only way for him to be close to them in human form

Actually, this question is a bit ridiculous and absurd, but I suppose it must be asked at some point. Harry belongs at Hogwarts. That was his true home. He would be happy nowhere else. Besides, his grave or statue or what-not can be seen by all of the students, so that they know that he saved them all. He's a hero.

Yes he was, because after LV was seen by like a hundred people at the MoM, they couldn't really lie to the public anymore. I'm sorry this is off topic, I'll be quiet now

Next to his parents. That would be the saddest thing in the world, but hey, it'll also be happy for him. He'll die and yet be so close to his parents.

If he dies cough*that's-not-going-to-happen-soon*cough. I think it would be best for him to be burried where his parents are put to rest. He would be happy to know he's reunited with his parents once again. Hogwarts would also be a good place... I can picture a big statue of Harry beneath the womping willow "here rests the boy who lived". The idea of Harry being buried in Godrics hollow sounds better

well if Harry did die, he will die by Voldemort. I think if Voldemort kills him he wont even leave a body, but if he does, he could be buried in Godric's Hollow. Next to his parents, so all the Potters could rest in peace all together.

Well, I do not believe that Harry will die very soon, so I hate to think about it

...
However, if I had MY choice, I would choose at Hogwarts, right next to the greatest wizard of his time, Headmaster, mentor, and idol Albus Dumbledore.
Of course, Harry would probably apt to be buried at Godric's Hollow; his starting place, his parents' ending place. It is a very important and significant spot, not only to Harry, but to the entire Wizarding world...
*sigh* I hope he does not die...

I don't want Harry to die either but if he will, I think it would be nice if he'll be buried beside next to his parents. Harry wasn't able to spend his life with his parents. I think, Harry will choose (not only me) this one, too for the same reason. He wanted to be with his parents at least, even in his death. In that case, they will be together, at long last.

I think that if he died he should be buried beside his parents at Godrics Hollow. I think that is where he would like to rest, next to his parents and in peace. I also think that there is where his story started and will end.

It really is morbid, but no worries.
Anyway, I picked Godric's Hollow. It just makes the most sense to me. He should be buried with his parents. He's always wanted to be with them, and this way, I think he'll be able to be with them both physically and in spirit, rather than just in spirit. Since it's where the whole story began, if the 7th book ends with Harry's death, it would be fitting if it ended in Godric's Hollow.

Harry should be buried in Godric's Hollow like his parents. If he died fighting strong, than that would be the perfect place. Otherwise, I'd pick Hogwarts.

I think he should be buried with his parents in Godric's Hollow. I don't like to think about him dying, though, even though I know it'll probably have to happen. I'd rather him live to be an old, old man married to Ginny with tons of kids!

i agree with 2 of these but i had to choose one so i choose godrics hollow and that reason is obvious.he would definitly be the place he would wanted to be burried.think about it.but my other choice would be hogwarts, cause for one that's the 2nd most likely place and it wuold almost be impossible to be burried there.dd's case was specal because he was one of the most respected wizards alive.the school board even had to be consulted before dd could be burried there.

It's only natural that he should be burried next to his parents. Then it would be the whole Potter family in a reunited sort of way. I seriously don't want this to happen though.

I said he should be buried next to his parents at Godric Hollow. It makes sence for him to be buried next to his parents. Or else he could be buried at the place which was a home to him. Hogwarts. Next to Dumbledore. But my first pick would be right next to his parents.

I think that he'll be buried next to his parents, that is, if he dies at all, which I don't think that he will because that would be absolutely horrible. Sorry, anyway, I was debating Hogwarts and Godric's Hollow, but I thought it would be nicer if he was buried to his parents. Plus, I don't think that they'd bury him at Hogwarts, I mean, DD was an exception wasn't he? It would be creepy if they turned the Hogwarts ground into a graveyard.

I had to pick beside his parents. Thats the best place to put him. But I had a choice... I would probably put him in the Dursley's Backyard so Harry can haunt them and MAKE THEM PAY!!!

I love that suggestion, it is so funny
I chose next to his parents because throughout the book their bond, sacrifice and love has been a fundamental focus - it has been a desperate search for Harry to 'find' his parents (either information about them, the search to feel a part of a family and feel loved and be worthy etc) - the talk with Lupin and sirius, and the Mirror of Erised was so touching. I think that it would be so fitting that he would finally get to be with his familly
Ideally, sirius could be close too (perhaps a plaque or something to symbolise his passing), as he was considered closer to being James' brother and James' family than his own - and he was like a father figure to Harry, protecting Harry for the love he felt for his parents, and in turn for Harry.
Perhaps, and this may seem silly, but Lupin and Wormtail (if his exohonorates himself

) could have their graves close to James and Sirius allowing the Marauders to be reunited and cause mischeif again
(although they probably have places near their own families or something)

I tota;;y agree with everyone who said that Harry should be buried next to his parents. He would want to be there. Don't ask me how I know, I just do. It all started there for him, and it's appropriate that it ends there, too.

if harry Dies then i think he would buried Beside his parents, at Godric's Hollow that would be nice of him to do and then hima nd his mother and father could become a family once and for all. but i don't think Harry is going to die any time soon. but yeah i think he would be buried Beside his parents, at Godric's Hollow.

like i said he would want to be buried with his parents so he could be with them in the after life. and i fhe is not buried there i would think he would want to be buried at Hogwarts because he said that was his home and he loved it there no matter what happens to him there. i dont think he would want to be buried near Grimmauld Place because he didn't know to much about it and he just found out about it. and then this was sort of weird to put down but i REALLY don't think Harry would want to be buried at the Grave Yard where he was in a duel with Lord Voldemort and Almomst died. so i don't think he would like it there.

hehe...I said that Harrry would be burried by his parents...just becuase...

i also think that he wouldn't have minded to be burried at Hogwarts like Dumbedore either though...But if i was him i would choose to be burried by my parents. I think the last place i would like to be burried would be in a grave yard where i saw some one die and where i fought this freeky dude who wanted nothing else but me dead

...not cool!
Plus at the end of the HBP book, harry said that he wanted to go and visit his parents graves...so...i think that that would make him want to be burried at the same place as them...he might also not want to be burried there either after he got done visiting...it might bring back more memories of the night that they died

IF he'd die (I don't belive!), it would be best to bury him next to his parents at Godric's Hollow. The idea to bury him at Howarts is not so bad, but it would be better, if the dead bodies of his parents would have not been found. Lke it is now, i'd say, bury Harry at Godric's Hollow!

I expect that Harry will die in book 7.
His body belongs at Hogwarts. It's the only real home he ever had.
