This is a list of the types of spells ih HP for those of you who dont know:
Anti-Jinx
Counter-Curse
Counter-Jinx
Defensive Spell
Hex
Jinx
Charm
Curse

This is a good site to get names: Latin dictionary

So get creating! Heres mine to start you off:

Name: Oculus Adhareus (Derived from Latin Oculus:Eye Adhare:Stick)
Class:DADA
Type:Jinx
Effect:You foes eye-lids get stuck closed, so they can't see.

RULES!!!

Class:charms
Type:charm

Difficulty: Hard
Hoarcrux_hunter
Sassafras, I may be new but don't double post. anyway, heres mine:

Name:Ambulardus
Class:DADA
Type:Jinx
Effect:Slows your enemy down so they can't run
Difficulty:Medium
Sassafras
Sorry about the double post.
hmm. yeah thats a good spell. I like the name. alot. it realy rolls off the toung. The class seems right and the type, but i'd say it would be easy, because it seems like a minor leg-locker curse.
Overall:15/20
Tuitus
Interesting topic, Sassafras. wink.gif
That's okay, if you cut the info on the second post and paste on the first, then you'll be fine; a mod will fix the rest.
I may come up with one soon...
Chacho
Name:Podendrium
Class:DADA
Type:Curse
Effect:Makes your foe weak, draining him of all power
Difficulty;Hard
Michael-the-Auror
Name:Expellemortis
Class: DADA
Type: Curse
Effect: a curse that will block death, (Avada Kedavra) and send it rebounding upon the user of the AK
Difficulty: Very Hard

haha i love Ancient Latin

Expellere-latin for "to drive out or banish"
Mors, mortis-as you all know, latin for "death"
Michael-the-Auror
ooh ooh, i got another... man this is fun...

Name: Hastiace
Class: DADA
Type: Curse
Effect: This would probably be considered Dark Magic. Like the Sectumsempra, this causes horrible damage to the enemy. When conjured, a hole will be pierced through the enemy, like a spear being thrown.
Difficulty:Hard

Hasta is latin for spear, whereas iacere is "to throw".
C's are also pronounced like K's in latin... so it'd be like "Ah-stee-ah-kay". I know it seems like that's impossible, but its just plain awesome I think. Also i studied Latin for 2 years, not much but it was really fun, and really easy.
felix_felicis_444
Oooooh...interesting thread! Me-likey! tongue.gif

Name: Avionado! (derived from Spanish Avion=Airplane)
Class: Transfiguration/DADA
Type: Transfiguration/Charm
Effect: Gives you a propellor to fly (away from enemies I suppose), as well as changes your body to make it aerodynamic
Difficulty: Medium....considering it is hard to reconfigure your body's shape...

Name: Linguasto Copia! (derived from Italian Lingua=Tongue Copia=Copy)
Class: Charms
Type: Charm
Effect: Allows you to speak as well as understand any language desired by the castor, as long as it is pointed at your brain
Difficulty: Hard...takes more effort for less common languages and much practice and skill

Oooo, that was fun biggrin.gif

_daviD
Michael-the-Auror
okay i got a couple more...

Name: Deleflucto
Class: DADA
Type: Curse
Effect: oh man if this was real, it'd be gnarly as heck. The curse causes the user to clear a room full of enemies by sending a shockwave congruent to the wand movement. The wave will blow the enemies back and automatically knock them out without inflicting mortal damage. In general, it is similar to Expelliarmus, except way move powerful.
Difficulty: Medium, just a little harder than Expelliarmus.

Name:Recupero Animus
Class: Charms
Type: Hex
Effect:this will work if you get knocked the heck out (like in the above curse). This charm will allow the injured person to regain consciousness upon effect.
Difficulty: Medium
Chacho
That spell about the shield to the Ak was pretty creative.

heres another

Name: Patronga
Class: DADA
Type: Charm
Effect: A super-powerful Patronus, able to blast away almost every Dementor that used to guard Azkaban prison.
Difficulty: Extremely hard, incredible concentration needed and an extremely 100% pure and happy memory.
Michael-the-Auror
Patronaga, sounds pretty gnarly man... like a super Patronus... sweet... here's another i came up with...

Name: Maledammno
Class:DADA
Type: Curse
Effect: This curse is used to rid the area of evil. When conjured, a large rift will open up directly under those who possess great evil, forcing them to fall into the abyss.
Difficulty:Hard

Malum-evil
dammno- to condemn

i liked the previous one though Chacho... man this is a good thread!
Veinic
well i'm no good in Latin, but i'll try out.

Name: Propero Evolus (Propellor)

Class: DADA

Type: Charms

Effect: The spell is used by wizards, especially during a battle. By thrusting the wand forward towards your desired destination while twisting your wrist, shout the incantation and you will be jerked forward depending where you thrust the wand. You will be flying towards the direction in a speed enough to outrun a cheetah, but it will last only for 5 seconds before it loses momentum.

This spell is best used to escape from a deadly spell ex. Avada Kedavra or a normal curse. It can be also combined with another spell while the user is flying. For example, if you use the Stunning Spell while you're airborne, the Stupefy power will be doubled due to your momentum.

Difficulty: Medium, the only stumbling block to those who wish to cast this is the fact that people tend to forget to twist their wrist in a fast paced duel.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Name:Scytherio (Slashing Curse)
Class: DADA
Type: Curse
Effect: This curse will temporarily cast a near-corporeal scythe infront of the wand. Only the caster will be able to see the scythe, and only the caster is able to cast the scythe off, by shouting the anti-curse, "Scytho". The advantages of this spell is that you can catch opponents off-guard, as you can still cast other spells when the scytherio curse is on. Disadvantages, however, that this curse can sometimes backlash, as you can accidently swing the wand to yourself or your ally in the pace of a duel.

This curse is best accompanied while you cast the Propellor Spell (see above), as you can multiply the effect of the scythe while you are flying. The effect of the attack can inflict mortal peril to the enemy if you stab the wand in the right spot. The combination of this two spells, Propellor and Slashing Curse, will produce a deadly move that wizards call it as the "Speed Stabbing Manoeuvre".

Difficulty: Easy, as all you need to do is to shout the incantation while jerking the wand backwards then frontwards again. The length of the gladius you cast depens on how far you thrust the wand forward.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

tongue.gif hehe i tried....

i really liked your "expellemortis" Michael, sounds really great! biggrin.gif Maledammno sounds cool too!

I love the thread! Keep it going!
Sassafras
Chacho:
The name is very good, it rolls off the toung I like that. The class. type and difficulty all seem to suite the effect, but one thing about the name is that curses usually and in -us eg:Iperius, Crucius but thats not a big thing so 19/20

Patronga: OMG what a sexy idea. haha an 00ber spell knocking out all dementors in its path. brilliant. But maybe it should only be able to be cast by people who have never cast dark magic at all. Otherwise dark wizards whos are sent to Azcaban might get wands smugled into them and blast the place apart. oh man that was a sexy idea! 18/20

Michael-the-arauror:
Expellemortis. hmm. I'm not sure about this one, creative as it is the name sounds alot like expelliarmus and dosn't it take away the point of Avada Kedvra being an unblockable spell?Harry Potter be known as the boy who lived, or naybe he would I dont know I just dont think this one works.

Hastiace:Name Awesome evrything else is in order, and the difficulty seems right. yep, I like this one.And I'll give ya an extra point cos y'dig Latin 20/20. Combobulations our the first rater! Yep, I like the rest of your spells aswell, but I'm to lazy to rate them

Felix Felicis444: Aviando: Name suites it cos its a charm, but I'd say it would be difficulty: hard, seeing as its almost annimagusnes. also I think wings, or even just the ability to fly would be more suitable. 16/20

Liguasto copia: This seems like an awesome idea for a spell its rockin'. 20/20 rater number 2!

Veinic:
Propero Evolus:
Name:Saxy
Class:yeah thats in order
Type: I'd sat this would be a Jinx, because Charms tend to be defensive when it comes to duelling, eg:Shield Charm. If this had a nickname it would be the charging jinx, y'get my drift?
Effect:Very original. It would make duels much more interesting.
19/20

Name: Its good, cant see scytherius working
Class: What else?
Type: Yep seems right
Effect: I hate to say this but it doesnt seem very original (Harsh but true) its just to simmilar to Sectumsepra. but duel comboing- genious!
15/20

Hope your happy. Please don't hate me!
putouter
Name: Penetralis Panton (Penetralis; passing through, penetrating )(Panton;everything)

Class: Charms

Type: Charm

Effect: Makes you look like a thin curtain in a dusk of wind, but still having your own characteristics. You can walk through almost anything(walls, objects). Even spells will go through you. This spell will protect you, but it will decrease your movement speed dramatically and you cant cast spells during it. It's a spell you can do only without wand and it's a non-verbal spell.

Difficulty: Extremely hard. This spell is even harder to learn than animagus spell and you need 100% concentration on this. That's why its hard to cast when duelling or in some other trouble.
razzberry2
I dont actually have a spell, but I'm writing a fanfic, and I'll have to come up with some spells soon and I was wondering if anyone here would mind me nicking any of the latin spell names, or even if I have a spell that I cant name (I do not know any latin) that maybe I could get one of you clever people to make up a name for me?

Dont mean to crash the thread, this is still related tongue.gif
putouter
Hey razzy! I would love to help you!! And yeah.. sorry bout this thread-owner-guy.. But this is still related dont ya think??
Sassafras
Sounds good to me, it would be great to see these spells come to life in a fan-fic.Feel free to use any spells in this thread. And tell your fanfic author friends too!
razzberry2
Ecellent!! I'm going on holidays for a few weeks, but I'm hoping to get some writing done while I'm away, so if I use anything, or need one made up I'll post and let you know. Brilliant, and thanks again biggrin.gif
felix_felicis_444
Oooooo, thanks Sassafras! 20/20! Pure awesomeness! tongue.gif
Hah, well I love the concept of this thread, and think that everybody's self-made spells are excellent! I would post more but my brain hurts enough for now....I'll think of some more for later!

_daviD

-EDIT-
P.S.: Razz..you can definitely use any spells that I made/make up for your fanfic! Also, I am pretty good at languages, so if you need help naming any spells, just send me a PM!
Hermione_Resilda
Well, here's one that I made up sometime in early March. One of my friends that I had met online was writing a fanfic, and had a contest for a spell. Here was my entry..

Name: Lieadaon
Class: Charms
Type: Charm

Effect: With a quick wrist movement down towards your feet, the spell Lieadaon will give you the ability to spring upwards. This spell is good for avoiding a certain person, and you can just jump up as high as you want (within reason, of course). You will only stay in the air for about 5 to 60 seconds, it depends on what you want.

Difficulty: Eh..it's a pretty hard-medium because bad things can happen if not used with caution.. ph34r.gif

Warning: Do not use if afraid of heights.

Well, there ya go. There's a very clever way as to how I got that spell tongue.gif.
Dominique
Okay, I'll give it a try smile.gif

Name: Calefacto
Class: Charms
Effect: Whenever you are in a cold place and just want to be warm, say this spell and automatically your body will start burning off heat and you will become cozy.
Difficulty: Medium
Warning: Must be said correctly, if said : calefacio, there is a possibility of burning yourself.. watch out!

-Dominique
Shagadelic - The Only Way to Go

Name: gelidus
Class: charms
Type: Hex
Effect: Makes your foe suffer from hypthermia. it doesn't kill them just makes them incapable of continuing to fight/duel you.
Difficulty: eh, Hard but easily repelled with a heat charm if the foe knows what spell is coming for them.

ph34r.gif
slytherinlvr
My spell is kind of bad but here goes:

Name: Adamo
Class: Charms
Type: Charm
Effect: makes the personyou cast it on fall in love with you.
Difficulty: medium-easy, it is not that hard but not really easy either.
Padfoot313
Wow, this is an intersting thread Idea, I like it. Now it has been a while since I took latin in college (well only since graduation this past spring) / But if I recall - off the top of my head - that Glomerant meant to roll into a ball and herbesco means to grow hair or blades of grass (My class used to laugh at this one, it had no point of learning at the level we were at.

OK

Spell: Herbeco Glomero
Class: Transfiguration
Effect: Turn animals, people, anything really into a ball with hair (like a rolled up porkypine. Then you can play catch, hit it with a bat it or even roll it down a hill or toss it at enemies
Difficulty: Medium - I would have to say that this one was rather amusing and simple rather than hard and devious, but I put medium because this spells requires you to accomplish two transformations to be complete.

Once I get home, I'll look in my old latin text book and think of some more.
Aubrin Xerva
Name: Aegritudo Sanatio (Mind healing)
Class: Potions
Type: Healing
Effect: Heals the mind, cures madness
Difficulty: Hard
james pickles
wow this is fun.

name: aedifico ningoum.
class: charms
type: charm
effect: creates snow when you point to the desired spot.
difficulty: it depends on how much snow, if you want a little bit of snow like ron made in HBP it is medium if you want the weather to snow then it would be very hard because it is difficult to control the weather.

lol here are somemore.

name:avolo abcantus
class:charms
type:charm
effect: you cast this on yourself and you fly to your desired desination while you can hear music. perfect if you want to fly with your partner and listen to a love melody.
difficulty: must concentrate on the destination and music so it would be medium for adult wizards but hard for underage wizards.
Padfoot313
Name: Citare Turbo (-are = to do)
Class: DADA
Effect: The victim begins or is put into a spinning motion, like a dredle (a children's spinning top) for a long period of time - depending on the power of the wizard/witch of course.
Difficulty: Hard, it is like a jinx or a hex, good for getting out of tight spot and it is sort of a control mechanism. You need to overpower the enemy before using it, otehrwise it could be deflected.
Veinic

hehey no problem. thanks for rating my spell! actually i had the idea when i was fantasizing i'm a hogwarts student (yeah sounds stupid but you need an escape from reality) and these kinda ideas come spontaneous.

an one thing, sassafras, i'm no good in deciding whether it is a hex, jinx or a charm. i just cant differentiate them.

hey, it's a good idea! like we wont want to see those great spells go to waste, eh? just one thing: let us see your fanfic after you finished.

i'll try again

Name: Continimens

Class: Charms

Type: Charms

Effect: This spell will enable the caster to speak with an ally without being detected, with the use of mind. The target must be within sight of the caster, but the nearer the target, the better they can hear you. Because of its secretive intention, the spell is best used with mind and heart, in other words, a nonverbal spell. Wizards that master the art of Occlumency and Legilimens will find Continimens an easy task, to the fact that these three are related to the strength of one's mind.

Continimens is a trouble to some teachers, seeing the fact that it can be used in an examination to communcate with friends. Thus, the Ministry of Magic has decided to put a special detector device in the exam hall, to detect any Continimentors happening. The good thing is that, like Occlumency and Legilimens, it is a tough spell. Students only in a NEWT Charms class can learn this, and only a few of them come out successful.

Difficulty: Like its two allies (Occlumens, Legilimens) Continimens is a very tough spell to learn. It depends on the strength of mind. Students are usually required to ease their mind before attempting the spell to make the process smoother.

>>>>>>>>>>>>

hehe, not very original i guess........

>>>>>>>>>>>>

Name: Turbocius

Class: DADA

Type: Jinx

Effect: Will cause the caster to look like a vibrating body, thus creating a blurry and fading effect. This spell will confuse the enemy and if he casts a spell on you, it will most likely to miss as the Turbocius will transport you around 2 or 3 feet away from the enemy's spell. The effect will last for around 10 seconds or just 1 second if the enemy decides to attack you instantly, thus ending the Turbocius effect.

Advantages is that you can cause hesitation in the enemy and spare you extra seconds to think. Most effective to use against a novice and beginner wizard, as they have no idea what is happening. It can also be used to a professional wizard, if the enemy is known for his weak thinking or famous for his hesitation.
A famous variety for this spell is to attack immediately after you cast Turbocius. Let's say you chose to disarm the enemy, shout Expelliarmus while the turbocius effect is in place. The enemy will not just see one but many jets of light casting to him, creating more havoc in his mind.
This spell can also be used to perform Legilimens. In the confusion of the enemy, he will unlikely able to perform Occlumens thus enabling you to delve into his thoughts. A technique performed by some teachers in school to interrogate students.

Difficulty: Medium, the effect depends on how fast you can wave your wand.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

tongue.gif
hey padfoot, Citare turbo sounds great man! it would really be useful in situations, like being caught red-handed or sumthing, cast em and then flee!! i like the idea!
james, avolo abcantus! laugh.gif hehe good idea man!
slytherinlvr
Here is another one:

name: Festinatio
class: Charms
type: Charm
effect: Makes you, someone else, or something go faster.
difficulty: medium, does not require a lot of skills.
Finite_Incantatem
Name: amito accelero
Class: Charm
Type: Hex
Effect: To make the person quickly slip.
Difficulty: Easy

Michael-the-Auror
okay i came up with some new ones.... i was lookin thorugh my latin book and i found this awesome one....

Name: Terre!
Class: Charms/DADA
Type: Curse
Effect: Spell causes the victim to experience the boggart effect. Or, become extremely terrified of the conjurer. For use against enemies.
Difficulty: Medium, this is not a hard spell, and can be easily blocked my saying the countercurse, which is Fortis.

haha... this one is for pranks...

Name: Tonde!
Class: Charms
Type: Jinx
Effect: Use this and the victim's full head of hair will be sheered off.
Difficulty: Easy... just as easy as the Leg-Locker and other prank jinxes...
mjane95
Me Me.

Name:Creatureas
Class:Care of Magical Creatures
Type:spell
Effect:Makes you speak in the animal in question
Difficulty: Hard. It takes a lot of conentration
slytherinlvr
Name: tendicula infragilis arca
Class: Defense against the Dark Arts
Type: Hex ( I think)
Effect: traps the person it is cast on in an unbreakable box. Useful for enemies.
Difficulty: Hard- takes plenty of concentration and if not pronounced correctly can trao the person casting the spell inside the unbreakable box, therefor trapping them inside until some one else comes by and does the reversing spell.
james pickles
name: advoco adforparentalis
class: charms
type: charm
effect: summons your dead ancestors who can give you advice and help you out in dire emergency.
difficulty: very very difficult extremely hard, if you pronounce it wrong it could summon someone elses ancestors who are possibly evil. requires 200% concentration, possibly one of the hardest spells known to man.
Padfoot313
OOH I like a lot of theses especially
QUOTE
Name: tendicula infragilis arca

I got a real good one

Name: Conglaciare Conliquefacere (non-verbal)
Class: DADA
Type: Curse
Effect: Turns your enemy into a block of ice and then melts them away into a puddle of water.
Diffulculty: Hard, this spell requires complete concentration, especially since it is non-verbal, and since it liquifies your enemy, your literally dissolving them into nothing but water. Of course recovery from this would be rather difficult, and only a really powerful wizard could accomplish it. But it does have a counter curse: Solidare Circumcaesurae - non-verbal - (to make an external outline of a body solid - literally), however, only the wizard who was turned into the puddle can change themselves back - this is why the counter curse and the actual curse are extremely difficult- it is pretty hard to concentrate when your body is dripping away from you. If someone else would try to revive the victum, the spell would back fire and that person (the one that try to revive) would turn into a solid mass.
james pickles
name:adoro abveritas
class:charms
type:charm
effect:makes the person desired speak the truth.
difficulty:if not pronounced correctly it could make the desired person speak the truth for ever or lie, or even do the same to yourself. medium i suppose for experienced wizards. i mean it beats carrying bottles of veritaserum around doesnt it. to reverse it its just the simple incantation finite incantatem.

i have another one, lol i love weather spells.

name:creo tonitrusimber
class:charms
type:charm
effect:creates a thunder storm at the desired destination.
difficulty: depends on how much of it you want if you want to make a whole town be surrounded by the storm it would be hard and if you wanted to make it just around a building it would be medium but if you really hated a person and wanted a small thunder storm above him and to follow him everywhere tongue.gif then it would be easy.
to reverse the effect just say cessoimber.

walterwoodsiv
Well, heres mine...

Name: E Pluribus Unum (Out of many, one)
Class: Charms
Type: Charm
Diffuculty: Hard
Effect: It would combine things.

Thank you 1 dollar bill.
Bumblebee
Yes, smile.gif but what would be the effect?
Undying patriotism? laugh.gif
slytherinlvr
Okay, here is another that I might find useful at certain times when my parents are getting on my nerves.

Name: silentium compingo cubiculum
Class: Defense Against the Dark Arts
Type: Hex
Effect: Will lock the person it is cast on in a room and keep them silent.
Difficulty: Hard- You must concentrate very hard on sending them to the room and silencing because if you are not concentrating you could send the person somewhere dangerous and make them either entirely lose their voice or make their voice really loud.

Here is another one I thought of:

Name: circumago acclamatio bombus (non-verbal spell)
Class: Charm
Type: Charm
Effect: Causes a distraction by having there be very loud bangs from the direction of your choice.
Difficulty: Easy- You simply point your wand in the direction you want the distraction, then say the spell in your mind.

james pickles
name:oboedio meus auctoritas
class:charms
type: id say curse or hex
effect: makes the person desired become your most loyal servant and does anything you tell them to, for instance if you wanted the person to sprout wings and fly into a tree for two days while being aware of what he/she is doing, then they would do that. but you could just use it on your enemy and humiliate then infront of people.
difficulty: quite hard, id say harder than the imerius curse since that only mkes you do one thing this makes you do limitless things.

razzberry2
QUOTE (Veinic @ Dec 15 2005, 04:08 AM)

hey, it's a good idea! like we wont want to see those great spells go to waste, eh? just one thing: let us see your fanfic after you finished.

I've got a book seven fic on the go in the fanfic section of the forums, and its an epic 200 pages long already, and we're only just up to Christmas rolleyes.gif . Still it'll be finished in a couple of months. lol. But I'm going to need some new spells when they get back to Hogwarts after Christmas.

If you guys would like to try your hand, I need a spell that will allow flame to burn on water. (Hard one I know) And also a charm that will clear a full bubble of air around the caster (not just the head) to repel stuff in the atmosphere.

Latin meanings very important for both. smile.gif
Padfoot313
ok razzberry2, I hope this is a good one for you.

Bulla - bubble
Circumcaesura - external body outline
Abrogare - to repeal

Name: Bulla Circumcaesura Abrogare
Class: DADA
Type: Defense Charm
Effect: Creation on a bubble to surround the caster that contains repealing magic against enemy attacks
Difficulty: Hard - concentration must be high otherwise you could place a bubble around you enemy or only part of your body.
slytherinlvr
razzberry2, I will try the a spell that will allow flame to burn on water. Here goes:

Name: Accendere Abaqua
Class: Charms
Type: Charm
Effect: Allows flame to burn on water.
Difficulty: Hard- If you say it wrong it will enclose you in a tank and you will be on fire.

Thanks to Padfoot313 for the suggestion, it is much better than my other one.
james pickles
well maybe you could put them together slytherinlvr like

ardodeo adfloaqua or something, or could we miss out the burn and just have it flame on water like ardoadflo aqua, just a suggestion.
Padfoot313
Ab - This is also simply "on"

but
accendo means - to set on fire, to kindle. So by simply putting fire on water, you might be able to do it.

Accendere Abaqua
Literally to set fire on water.

Hope I helped
slytherinlvr
Like I said I tried. I do like your idea though Padfoot313. I was considering to do that but then I thought it would be better to do it the other. I think I might use your suggestion. Thanks for the suggestion. I will go in and edit my post with that spell.
felix_felicis_444
Okay, it has been a while since I have posted a spell so here we go:

Name: Adfectus Alimentum! (Adfectus- Latin for 'feelings;' Alimentum- Latin for 'food')
Class: Charms
Type: Conjuring Spell
Effect: When this spell is performed, the result is a plate of food. Not just any food, though, this food is specifically chosen to fit the castor's mood and feelings at the time!
Difficulty: Medium. This spell is taught to little children by their parents so they can learn to prepare their own food. Its is of medium difficulty because full concentration is necessary to produce top-quality food. After much practice, however, the spell will come almost naturally to the castor.
Warnings: Before eating food (especially for novices), make sure it is of edible quality!

Hmmm....You like? This spell would surely come in handy for me!

_daviD
Chelsey_princess
Great idea!!!!!Here's my spell,I'm weak at Latin so...it's too long!!!

Name:Appareo boggart hostilis-e
Class:DADA
Effect:You will take the form of your enemy's boggart and this will frighten him off.
Difficulty:A complex spell as it is,it will be taught to 6th years' at Hogwarts.( Kids like Harry can learn it in their 4th year, though)
Warning:Make sure you pronounce the spell very clearly or you'll end up making yourself a funny boggart.

Chels,aka the professional spell-maker. dry.gif
Feeder
Heh, this is a pretty cool idea, lemme give it a shot:

Name: Admiratio Aeolus ('Admiratio' for outburst and Aeolus for 'wind')
Class: DADA
Type: Hex
Effect: Sends an outburst or gust of wind at an enemy causing them to fall.
Difficulty: Medium; in it's simpler and less practiced forms it may only cause someone to be blown over, but at it's most powerful level, it may be used as a body-thrower. Meaning it will throw a person back up to 30 feet at speeds of 25 mph causing serious injuries.
Warning: Do not attempt this spell in highly windy areas unless very skilled, for this spell may backfire when conjured in areas of conflicting winds.
Sassafras
WOW! This topic seems pretty popular. Anyway, sorry I havnt been able to rate any of your spells but I have been moving house. Actually Ive only been able to write this because I'm at my Aunts house for Christmas dinner. Anyway, kinda hoped that the people I gave 20/20 would do some rating, because when you get that mark you get rating position.
