I read that the last harry potter book will appear in 2007, though JK Rowling said that it'll appear in 2006 and it'll be called Harry Potter and the Pyramids of Furmat.

Umm I thinmk thats just a rumour.I doubt it will be ready by 2006 cuz she has to write it, type it, then check for errors and like get all the publishhing done.Thats takes time so no I dont think so.

lol yeah JKR did not say it would be out in 2006 and she did not say that it was going to be called harry potter and the pyramids of furmat. she said that she would begin writing book seven in 2006 not that it would be out and she also said that a rumour had come up that the new book was going to be called the pyramids of furman which were just like the pillar of storge (a stupid rumour).

Yes James is right. The pyramids junk is just a rumour that J.K. has personally crushed on her site. She hasnt released the title or the publication date, but she hasnt even begun to write the last installment yet.

well she has wrote the last chapter but she is beginning to write the rest in 2006. and on her site she crushed it humerously lol. anyway.

I've read that she will publish it in 2007. I also have read that it will probably come out on July 7, 2007. I have not read anything[authorized by JKR]about what the title will be.

yes, shes definitely not publishing it htis year...she said so herself, it is just a rumour.
and as for the title being "harry potter and the pyramids of furmat" i think its the same thing: a rumour.....i also read in a magazine its going to be called "harry potter and the adscolent angst" ....no way! i bet thats a rumour too..its just the dummest thing ever

i can only say i cant wait for it to come out, but as for the name its gonna be something no one has thought of becuase she always makes the name something that has to do with the main plot of the book but the title always throws you off, remember when we first heard that book six was called Hp and the half blood prince? all the hysteria and confusion it cuased.

she answered a question about the name of the 7th book, and it was a very funny answer... she palyed with more or less three or four names that aren't real, but were rumours...
i think we'll know the name when she wants us to know it, and it'll be in her site, behind that door that she always opens when she wants to tell us something new.
and, she did say that the book will be released more or less on 2007. but then she said she'll begin writting on that same year!
we'll have to wait.

Why July 07 you ask? Maybe the 07/07/07 thing. Oh, I am back. Anyways, seven is the perfect number and is mentioned throughout the HP books, as in 7 horcruxes, 7 books, etc.

i agree with you in that date 07/07/07 it will make everyone notice it and that date is quite good for its promotion....................like the new film that will be release in 06/06/06

Hahaha I remember reading in the Scotsman newspaper after GoF had come out that the next three books would be called something along the lines of:

1. Harry Potter and the Blazing Horseshoe
2. Harry Potter and the Nimble Thimble
3. Harry Potter and the Pyramids of Furmat

Oh how i laughed. Jo is much more creative than that.
