That's an interesting question. I would play Hermione, because i love her character. Also, i think it would be very fun to play Luna. I would also want to be Lavender because she gets to kiss Ron in the 6th movie. . .if they put that in. . .hehe.
If i would play a guy, i would have to choose. . .Fred or George. I love Fred and George and their characters, and i am pretty funny. . .

I personally could se myself as a plausible Luna. I enjoy her character in the books and she is a very corky person. Taking into consideration that she is a little "loony" and weird I would love to portray her, plus she's also quite a creative person.

well actually i think i could pull off being luna( if i dyed my hair blonde anyway ). Shes loony, weird, and odd and to these things i can relate. I also think it would be fun to portray her, shes unlike any of the other characters.

Either Hermione or Ginny.
Hermione- I am samrt like her, and I enjoy reading. I have very good grades also. I have brown eyes and brown hair, but it is straight. I am loyal also, and I care for my friends very much.
Ginny- I have brown eyes, but not red hair. Although I am planning to dye it a redish color... Anywayz, I too only have brothers, (4) but I am in the middle. I am shy at first, but once you get to know me, I am nice, and funny. I do tend to have a bit of a temper sometimes, like her. I do not like to be told to wait, or stay behind also. Not to metion m,y name is Ginny!

lol.
So that's pretty much why, except I live in the US, so I don't have the accent...

Wooow. What a loaded question.
And even as I was reading through these it's one of those ridiculously hard things to answer.
If I were a guy I'd undoubtedly play Draco. As far as my acting preferences and capabilities go, I am definitely the blonde/arrogant/stuck-up/mean/devilish character, and he is my true love anyway, haha.
But indeed I am a girl... that said, I'd love to play Pansy
solely because she's Draco's girlfriend (hah, I certainly wouldn't mind having Tom Felton's head in my lap *faints*

) Other than that I am completely unsuited for that role. Somewhat sadly (at least in my mind), the girl I'd be most likely to play would be Hermione for her strong personality and whatnot. Appearance-wise, though, I'm definitely a Luna or a Fleur, haha.
If I were, let's see, ten years older and capable of playing an adult (even though that'd make me only four years older than Tom Felton, haha, but whatever), I'd have to go with Narcissa, especially after Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. That decision has nothing to do with Lucius.

I would be Voldermort, what a character!! He is totally evil and in real life I very rarely get to be 100% evil!
He would be great to play just for the fact that I would be remembered by a generation as "The Dark Lord" but also I would get to play him in so many different ways, as Tom Riddle the boy, Man and then Voldermort the "creature".
In order to have great heros we must have great villans, villans are always the best to play.

Flygal101, we're similar.
If I was in the movie, I would probably be cast as Parvati/Padma.
-I have long-ish black hair.
-Same eye color
-I can do a british accent
But....
-I live in the states.

Ginny! Definatley! We are scary similar. No joke.
We both have red hair and are the same age. My friends actually say that I look like her(Bonnie Wright, the girl who plays her now)...to bad I'm not British. Sometimes being Canadian has its down sides...but hey.
Ginny all the way!!!

I would really like to play as tom riddle, when he's a teenager, and when he's a kid in the penseive, (of course, if they were to show that scene) But i suppose that if i could dye my hair to be a little darker than i could sort of look like harry, but i think playing an evil person would be fun.

I think I could pull off well either Hermione or Ginny. As for personality I think I'm more close to Hermione, I'm clever, I hardly break rules and I have curly brown hair and a great British accent though I'm Italian.
but if I dyed my hair red I could play Ginny: I'd love to play Quidditich and I'd love to be Harry's girlfriend.

I would love to be Hermoine, I have got brown bushy hair, love to read and write, always do my homework and all that. But I do not think I would be casted as her if I went for the audition... It is more likely that I would get the role as Lavender(not that I would...) (will she appear in HBP??), I can actually see myself as her.. ; ) She is more like a girlish girl, I do not know how to explain really...

I'm a stage actress and my acting coach had me watch Harry Potter to read into the characters then half-way through the film she said to me "You know, you'd make a great Ginny Weasley." I'd love to play Ginny for the good side. But I'd also love to play Bellatrix Lestrange. One of those two characters would be fantastic! The only problem is my look ... I'm latina so ... not so sure that would work. Aha I can change my accent at the drop of a hat though, so ... haha.

Neville:
I am always nervous and prone to mistakes

Well, age-wise I think I would be more suited to play Ginny, as I am the same age as Bonnie Wright so that would be okay. But I would like to play either Hermione or Ginny. Although I personally don't like the character of Ginny in the book
(I won't go into why now, I'd be here all night
) I wouldn't mind playing her. Though personality wise (I hope!) I am more like Hermione.

Hmmmm, well, I think it would be pretty fun to play Luna or Tonks! They are both such quarky characters and two of my favorites!

Of course, I'm too young to play Tonks and too old to play Luna so taking age into consideration I would love to play Hermione! I am the right age and I have brown hair that occassionally poofs up a bit!

I think that I could play her really well!
Hehehe, if I was a boy I would LOVE to play Harry, Remus, or Sirius. I pretty much adore the Marauders and Harry would get to do all the fun stuff. They all have great qualities!
xdarkserpentx
Aug 25 2007, 11:01 PM
Oh I know who I would be for sure!
I'd be Tonks because I'm both clumsy and I have pink spikey hair! Lol. I only wish I was British! I would've gone for her role in a heart beat. I'm really disappointed about that actually.

Looks wise, I would be a Hermione. I am very smart like her and am a walking encyclopedia for my friends. If I straighten my hair and dye it red, I would definately be Ginny. I have her personality from the last couple books. Those are the two characters I can relate to the most.

hahaha I love this...good question!
Well I see more similarities with myself and Hermoine and I absolutely love her character so she's definitely up there. But then I kinda have to say I'd choose Ginny. Strong, Independent and GETS TO KISS HARRY POTTER/ Dan Radcliffe! *swoons*
So...I guess those are my two choices!

Oct 3 2007, 11:47 PM
Wow. I'd definatly pull of being Ginny, and I mean the character, not Bonnie Wright.
BECAUSE
1) I'll dye my hair in a few weeks, same red
2) I'm sassy and fiesty
3) I can be really bossy and really rule-breaking
4) I'm very annoyed at times, like she is
5) I fit the description
6) I pull off the British accent so well!
7) I'm tough!
BUT
1) Not from Great Britan
2) Not AS brave as she is
3) Bonnie Wright already has her place...

My cousin Levi looks EXACTLY lik Harry Potter, no joke!
1) Same age (about at least)
2) Green eyes (not blue like Dan's)
3) Skinny
4) Impossible to deal with black hair
5) Same glasses (except dark blue rims, but who can tell?)
6) Has a funny scar above the right eye (car accident)
7) Sounds British and can really pull it off
8) NO JOKE!!!
It was funny because I was showing him around town and my friend thinks we look like Harry and Ginny. She stood several paces behind us and went, "OH MY GOD IT'S HARRY POTTER AND GINNY WEASLY!! AAAAEEEIIIII!!" and ran off before we could get her, by the time we did, we were all laughing, out of breath, and light-headed. You saw people running by going "where? where?" it was SOO funny!

I would want to play Cho Chang.
I'm half Asian and half British so at least I would look like her. Plus she gets both Cedric and Harry, lucky her.
But I would personally love to play Tom Riddle (if I wasn't a girl) Mmm, so much power, charisma and knowledge. Plus you would get to act crazy

, so that would be fun.

Ok, I love this Question. I would most likely like to play a Sirius Black or a Draco Malfoy. I kinda have both qualties of both. So i dont know which one to pick. If i had to pick it would be Sirius Black, as he is my favorite character. But that if i had to pick, other than that i think i would most likely be a Draco Malfoy. I look alot like him. So i guess Draco by looks, but Sirius by heart.

#1 is Bellatrix
#2 is Ginny
#3 is Tonks
#4 is Luna
#5 is Hermione
Bellatrix cause i can act psycho and i can easily make my hair messy and dye it. Ginny cause i can also easily dye my hair red and she is lucky and also i am also the youngest. Tonks, same as the others with the hair and i can cut it. Luna, i am a natural blondie but my hair is going brown but that can be changed, and i can easily get the voice. Hermione - same for the hair, but i aint too smart, i am a bookworm but not that smart due to i prefer adventures and mysteries better also HP.

hm.. I wuold have to say I would either be Hermione, Ginny, Or luna.
Not only would I LOVE to be Hermione, but I have brown somewhat bushy hair. I have the same color eyes and people tell me that I look like her. I already know all of her lines in the first 5 movies

. I do a decent british accent but unfortunalty i am not britsh. I do amazingly well in school adn always have answers. I am a bokworm and worry a lot as well.
For Ginny I could easily straighten and dye my hair red. I am th youngest out of my family as well. I always want to be invovled with things and help out.
For Luna well, I htink she is amazing. I have her voice down flat and I could easily straigten and dye my hair for her as well.

Hmmm. I think i'd like... obviously i'd have to be quite older. I'd like to play someone like Lupin. As he has wise and he is quite troubled. Though he has a good heart. I'd like to portray that goodness. Of course it would be good to be a member of the Order to.
Yes so i'd like to be Lupin. Or if that failed prehaps Neville. Because he just seems ( even if he mistakes) he seems to always come back fighting.

I would love to play either Hermione or Luna. I look nothing like either of them, but whatever. Appearance can be altered. I'm kind of like Hermione in some ways... I'm smart, clever, a good, friend, and kind of bossy. I'm not as serious as her, though. I love saying weird things and cracking up over almost nothing. That's why Luna would be fun. She says such weird things sometimes...
If I could be an adult character, it would be Bellatrix. It just looks so much fun. I imitate her a lot and it makes people laugh... hee hee hee...

I'd love to play Luna, but I look nothing like her. They'd have to give me a full makeover.

I Would Love To Play Ginny. (But Bonnie Does Such A Great Job). I Dont Have Red Hair, But Other Than That I Look Quite Like Her. I Would Also Be Interested In Playing Hermione (As I Would Get To Kiss Rupert Grint In DH!) Plus I Look More Like Her Than Any Other Character. I Also Think It Would Be Awesome To Play Luna, But I Dont Think Anyone Could Replace The Amazing Evanna Lynch. But Overall Ginny Is Definatly My First Pic Though

I would love to play Hermione. I pretty much look exactly like her.( I've been her for Halloween the past two years). But just like jayden.payne said Emma portrays Hermione in such a magnificent way, I don't think I could beat her at all. Plus if I did play Hermione, I would get the bounus of kissing Rupert Grint, and who wouldn't want that ?

id have to say id want to be hermione because i have brown hair and eyes but my hair is fairly straight and not frizzy which could be a problem...but i really do have her personality! acually my friends said my personality is like lunas because i can be pretty random but i would have to dye my hair and wear coloured contacts to look like her!

Well my favourite is Luna, and I used to look lot like her about a year ago, cos my hair was light blond, but it's nearly black now, so I don't really look like her anymore! I act like her though - I can be very random when I want to be.
My second choice would be Tonks, for the simple reason that I think she is mint!! She's also one of my favourites, and I think it would be so fin to play her!
If I was a bit older, I'd LOVE to play Bellatrix - I think she is such a powerful character, and it would be so fun to portray her, but it must be said, nobody could do a better job thatn Helena - she's an amazing actress, and I wouldn't want to take that away from her!

Yes! Nymphadora Lupin, I agree that if I were a little older I would jump at any chance to play Bellatrix Lestrange. I believe Helena Bonham Carter did an amazing job, I'm look forward to her Red Queen in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.
I think Luna would be fun to play, but I don't think I look like her haha.
To tell the truth I'm much more attracted to the older roles, like I would love to play a Death Eater or a professor. Also, Petunia would be good fun to play. Fiona Shaw is great in this. I think she's great in everything.

I would be Harry. No doubt about it.
I wear glasses
I have black messy hair
I'm short
I'm crap with girls
I hate Umbridge
I love Hogwarts
I can't do non-verbal spells to save myself
I've been told I look like Harry
I love Gryffindor
If I actually looked my age, like a mature 20 year old, then I would love to play Sirius. But I don't. And Harry's my first choice.

If I could play someone, I would love to play Lavender Brown. If my hair were lighter, which I could make it if I wanted to, then I would because she's so whiny. I perform anyway, and the roles that aren't the main ones but have so much personality are so much fun for me.
If I were to identify with someone I'm most like, I would say Hermione Granger. I am so much like her in a lot of ways. The only problem is I finally got my hair somewhat tamed, haha, so... Working as an actor in a Harry Potter movie would be amazing! I've been working on my accent, hehe.

It would definitely have to be Hermione, if I was physically different, because I'm taller than she's described, far skinnier, and my nose is *ugh*, but otherwise, my hair is so like hers! It was really mishappen when I younger, but now it's very, very bushy, but curly as well

, and my eyes are brown; and then, I'm very responsible, I love learning (yet not studying), I'm super bossy (but more shy than she is), I'm a bookworm, and I try to grab more stuff than I can

And when reading her lines to my sister, she said ... I sounded so like her!

(yay, my English accent is beginning to improve). Oh, and I'm also waiting for my Ron. He should be ginger, but if not ... well, it's ok

This is a tough one for me, because there are so many wonderful characters. If I had to choose, however, I'd go with Ginny or Hermione (from the 'younger' characters), or Tonks (from the 'older' characters). Ginny would be interesting to play because she really shows her true colors in the fifth and sixth books. As to Hermione, I'm a bit like her, personality-wise...rather bookish and clever. Tonks would just be pure fun to play because she is an incredible character. Moreover, Tonks has a great sense of humor, just like I do, so it really fits.

I would probably be best for the part of Hermione. Here are my reasons:
- I love to read
- I look sort of like Hermione with my hair down.
-Always willing to help others, if I could
I do not have:
- I'm not a straight A student (But that does not mean I don't get them)
- Her stylish wit
- Nor do I have her accent (But, I could do a real good imitation of it)
- May have dash of brownness to my skin
There are not much, but it will do, I guess.

I'd probably play Mrs. Weasley, because frankly, I think I'm better at shouting than the actress is. There's an art to it. However, I don't look anything like Mrs. Weasley... but you'd be surprised what make-up artists can do.

I would definately play Hermione.
1. I have poofy, curly hair
2. I am smart and an over achiever (like Hermione)
3. I'm always telling people what to do
