Actually my friend is waaaaay into them. They're his favorite band and they're all he listen's to. I personally haven't heard much of their stuff, but from what I have heard, they are pretty good.
Oh, and I'm not sure, but I don't think you're supposed to create such specific topics, but I'm not positive.

hey guys I know this has been pretty quiet but I really need somewhere to brag and where better than here!
I went to see Panic last night and they were amazing. The place was waaay too packed though and I fell to the ground, almost suffocated and was trampled on so many times but it was worth it. After they finished me and the few of my friends I could find decided to walk to the top tier to breath and after a bit we spotted them in the VIP area to the side! So we tried to get in one way but it didn't work so we went to the other side and waited for about an hour while we were about 2 metres away from the guitarist and eventually we got him to come over to us and have a chat. He was really sweet, quite shy. We got our photo taken and it made the kind of rubbishy start worth it.

One of my friends was weiring that shirt and someone said: " Ah! Panic at the disco! Dance for your lives!"
after that, my friend had to explain that it was a band name, I didn't even know until then....
I've never really heard of them, though.

Panic! at the disco..
One of my friends is completely crazy about them. She sings their songs all the time, knows everything about them, and such. I've listened to a couple of their songs, but I can't honestly say they are the best, but they are okay.
I just love the name though...Panic! at the disco. Everyone walks around school saying "Panic (drawing a exclamation mark in the air) at the disco"...woo hoo.
Love,

Oh I love whoever posted this. I absolutly love Panic! at the disco. When I first heard that one of their music videos was out, I watched it about 20 times in two days. I have listened to about half the album and looked up lyrics. I really want to get their cd, but I have to wait for my birthday, which is tomorrow.

Wow, Panic! at the disco is my favorite band. Well acctually one of them, in a tie with Fall Out Boy, The Academy is.., and Hellogoodbye. I have 3 Panic! at the disco shirts.

My friend and I were going to go to their concert near us, with The Academy is.. and Hellogoodbye but it turned out it was in the worst part of town, so our parents weren't cool with it. I hate that they sold out to MTV. Now all the little teeny-boppers who only heard their one song on MTV are going to be like 'OMG Panic! at the disco is sooo awesome!' Okay, I'm done.

I totally love this band! The techno feel in their songs are really great, I could listen to this band all day all night

Um regarding fall out boy, i did like them but then they have been over playing their music way too much and I am really sick of them now....
But Panic! at the disco rock, they are on my myspace! haha

yeah it kinda sucks that people will listen to one song and automatically like them because they were on MTV but I think its great for the band, I hope they make it big because everyone should be able to listen to their greatness.
Anyways they rock I love them loads and yep!

Panic is a very good band, they're cd is in my car right now! lol. The thing about MTV is that there is this huge trend right now towads the emo/techno/ punk music. So with bands like All Anerican REjects, Hawthorne Heights, FOB and Panic! its all over everything. You wanna know the real deciding factor of whether someone is a fan? Ask them what they're favorite song is
If they dont really know that band they will say "i dunno" or the sond thats on MTV.
My favorite painc song... The only difference between Suicide and Martydom is publicity!

Yeah i love that song thats the one on my myspace, but my fave fave one is lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking off her clothes haha i actually didnt know the whole name to this song i just called it fun with clothes for some time.

anyways yeah besides once this whole emo fad juk goes away the real fans will come out

P!ATD is currently one of my favorite bands. At first, I thought it would be another one of those emo junk bands, but their songs turned out to be quite good, actually.
I love the catchy song titles and the ohsocool lyrics. I really enjoy I Write Sins Not Tragedies.
It's sad that people stereotype their fans as 'emo', because I for one am most definitely not emo. Ah well.
This band is marvellous.

P!ATD is definitely amazing. I hope it isn't one of those bands that have a one hit wonder and disappear from the face of the planet.

I got their cd a few weeks after it came out and have never regretted it. Even though I'm not playing it everyday anymore. Their song titles are a lot like Fall Out Boys song titles though. I really want to see them live sometime, but I'm not sure if I will get the chance next time they come around to my state.

I hate how people are giving crap to panic for being "sellouts" and FOB Jr's, but they've been through alot JUST to acutaly get steady as a band, what with some members being mormon and being forced out by parents and whatnot. howeve, I myself find it irritating how when back in sept, i told people aobut them (at school) and they said they seemed dumb, and emo. now they love 'em.
oh, and their in the new FOB vid, less 16 candles.

I really don't see how they are sell outs either. They are just as big now as before they even made their first cd.

Oooh! Panic! At the Disco! I love them and their songs! hehe! And how the titles of some of their songs are so long!

My three top songs from them are
The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage,
I Write Sins Not Tragedies and
Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off. I like both FOB and Panic, so yeah. hehe. I don't really care who came first and what not.

And.. Sorry.. Why are they sellouts exactly?

Jun 11 2006, 01:12 AM
Panic! At The Disco is definately in my top five favourite bands

I love their music, and I play their songs over and over

When it comes to MTV and selling out and stuff like that I don't really care about most of it. I don't believe Panic! sold out, and I believe there was a reason that Brent (the bassist) had to leave the band. And really, the fact that Pete Wentz may have discovered them only proves that Pete has pretty good taste

(I adore Fall Out Boy as well, just for the record

). So yeah, I don't see how exactly Panic! sold out either though. As I said, I don't consider them sellouts, and I know that all the MTV-stuff will blow over eventually

omg. like ersb99.. i told people about P!ATD like around December/ January, and like no one accepted them. I had only 2 other friends that liked them. I really like their music, and the style. The music video (It's Better If You Do) just appeared on MTV and i was like (when i was talking to my poser sisiter).. "I saw that video almost a month ago..". I hate that, when people don't think i know stuff like that. Its like "Hello? I know about them before." just saying... I really like P!ATD. the're cool.

People make me giggle. Panic! At The Disco is an AMAZING band. The Used (obviously) is my
favorite band, but Panic is something very different and unique and I like that. I missed them coming to my town with the Dresden Dolls and The Hush Sound,
and cried like a baby about it cause all I wanted to do was see them live cause I had heard such good things about thier shows. The costumes and the circus act...
Meep. Must have been
incredible!!!! Maybe next time around. No, for sure, next time around. I really like how Ryan is inspired by bands like Fleetwood Mac and the Counting Crows, and writes his lyrics that way, but then the whole band creates this music that is just
original. Thats basically unheard of today.....
So yes, P!ATD fan, right.

Panic! At The Disco is a okay band but the only thing i dont like about them i don't like about them are MTV because when MTV gets hold of a band then that is all you hear about for the next year and it gets old but they are still good. but like from first to last, billy talent, paramore, crash romeo they are not on MTV and they are awesome.

OH Panic! At The Disco rock!!! I love their song " But Its Better If You Do" awsom!
I also love Muse and Red Hot Chilli Peppers but with RHCP their latest album is a bit of a disappointment. It has about 28 songs with 2 CDs and there are only about 3 songs I like! I think their classic stuff is ace though! And Muse have just come back with a great tune "Supermassive Black Hole" is a total HIT for me:P

So..Okay I just recently saw Panic! At The Disco's video for "Lying Is The Most Fun..." I have to admit, I really liked it. They were barely in it, but the story line was so completely out there, with people having fish bowls on thier heads. I thought that was different. I dont know if anybody else has seen it, seeing as how everybody is just now seeing "But Its Better If You Do" (Brendon cant dance and I think its adorable.)

Can I ask a question? I just wanted to know everybody's favorite member of Panic! At The Disco. Mine? Ryan Ross. Why? Well, because Ryan didnt exactly have a fantastic childhood, and he still managed to get where he's at today. He writes the lyrics in the band and that kind of makes me want to step inside his head and see where he gets those ideas from. Quite creative. And he plays guitar. I cant. I probably will never learn, so anybody who can actually play an instrument is God to me....But I'm getting off topic...
Favorite Member? Why?

But seince then I have loved them I love the song The only difference between Suicide and Maryterdome is the Press Coverage. and I love Its better if you do. The video for that is great! I love the originality in their lyrics. And they always have good beats in their songs and they are great to listen and dance to.

my favorite member of PatD! is definitly Brendon Urie. My favorite song it "Build God, Then We'll Talk". and my favorite music video is "Lying is the Most Fun.."
basically i'm in love with patd! and i always will be. I love their name and i love their crazy song titles. I actually created this cd cover for my friend and it said 'Panic at the Disco' and it had a picture of romeo and juliet (modern day) kissing on the dance floor at a disco and the crowd behind juliet were the capulets in a frenzy and behind romeo were the montagues in a frenzy and acting all crazy and outraged- hence PANIC at the disco. what do you think??

Did anyone see them perform at the VMA's! they were so good. And they won video of the year! They were shocked lol..they thanked a bunch of people including Pete and all of Fall Out Boy. I also think that radio stations (other than BRU 95.5) need to play their other music not just I write Sins not Tragides. And Megan the cover sounds wicked cool..you should post a pic of it if you have one!

Panic! At The Disco's performance at the VMA's practically made me squeal like a little pig. I'm not even joking. All the dancers came out of that huge circus tent of a hoop dress, and then Brendon in a top hat dancing along. I was floored. I loved it, and they couldn't have done any better.
They also won video of the year. that was pretty awesome.
They absolutely deserved it.

I think that Panic! At the Disco was better live then all the other bands that performed, but I think Brenden Urie (lead singer) didnt do an amazing job. His voice was very shaky and didnt sound much like the track on the C.D. Although I cant expect them to sound exact...they had a good performance. And I also agree with MyBroomstickisbetterthanyours. They dont play enough of their songs, and they definatley do have a lot of them. Not sure why that is though...

Sep 15 2006, 08:42 PM
a lot of radio stations dont play much of panic! at the dicso, because SHOCK thy ar original. Like I said, I personally adored their performance at the VMA's but I'll get off that subject. I read that Panic! are going to shoot a video for "Build God, Then We'll Talk" and I geeked out. (yes, i really just said that) That song is my favorite on the album other than Camisado. I love that song. But Ryan (lyricist/guitar player) said that he loves that song and that this is how they want to leave their fans as they go and write for their new album. He (Ryan) said he's been studying people a lot. Just random people, like a blind accordian player and people like that...I thought that was mildly interesting. Also, before I stop boring you all, they also shot a video with
The Dresden Dolls for their song "Backstabber."
Thank you.
