I loved that Video Amyrat151 I couldnt see the second one.Hermione and Ron were destined from the start! In the 6th book its clear that both of them want eachother. Ron goes out with Lavenda to get to Hermione and to prove to himself that he doesnt lover her when he obviously does. Hermione goes out with Cromac because Ron is with Lavenda. The way they are always at each others throats also shows how they are about each other. Before me and my ex boyfriend went out we used to argue like Hermione and Ron and it was clear we liked each other. Its just little things that Ron doenst like Hermione doing and visa versa. Hermione is less nagging to Harry and always picking on Ron because she is propably scared to admit that she wants him . HG/RW FOR EVER!

Thank you Muggy, and 1#HP I'd refresh the page a few times, yousendit is sometimes temermental. Anyway, I think that the kisses will satisfy, even though I think there will be not to many. You know, I think that the last book would be way better if it was from differnt views, not just Harry. I can't wait to read them together, I hope it's all that we hoped for.

If J.K. somehow came up with a way to change the POV from Harry to Ron or Hermione for their first kiss scene, I would worship J.K. like God. Not really, though. But really, my admiration for her and HP in general would go up tenthfold. Who agrees?

Me, but I already said that. But she's gone to others PoVs a few times, and I think that it would be more effective if we read what Ron or Hermione where feeling when they where with Hermione or Ron, verse Harry just viewing it. But also something from Bellatrix's view would be cool too, because it makes a more complete world I think.

Yeah, I'm sure the movies won't disapoint, I have complete faith in Rupert and Emma to do Ron and Hermione justice, and David, Steve and who ever's directing the last to movies to do their jobs to make us very happy. As I've siad before, what ever did or didn't happen in the last chapters of HBP will be reflected in the movie.

If Book 7 is out as scheduled in 2007, then the movie producers have the choice to make movie 6 and 7 as a two-part one-shot movie. So movie 6 can show more of Ron and Hermione's romantic actions that they may reveal to Harry in Book 7. Movie 7 can focus on the final battle with many kisses but without having to explain the romance all over again.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! Sorry went a bit ott there, whoops. Yep, Ron and Hermone are the perfect couple and they willl definitely get together in book 7. If you ask me, I would say that they already did (sort of) at the end of HBP. You know, they were both trying to make each other jealous after they argued (aww, true love) and it worked...But in the end they made up. And in the last chapter of HBP: "Ron was now holding Hermione and stroking her hair while she sobbed into his shoulder." Ok, I know it was Dumbledore's funeral so it was probably just a sort of comforting, friendly hug, but it does seem a bit more than that. Also, all their arguing in the first few books was probably a way around letting each other know how they feel about them.

That sounds plasiable Muggy, but it all depends on just what happened between them after he broke up with Lavender. And Golden Phoenix, the hug seems like more to all of us too. "Stroking her hair," it seems like a very boyfriend-like thing to do.

Hermione and Ron got so close, while Ginny and Harry were together. The sob in the shoulder is a proof for the closeness. After that, Ron and Hermione spoke for each other (they use "we" so interchangably) when they decided to follow Harry wherever he will go to fulfill Dumbledore's wish. Ron and Hermione are already a couple!

Throughout the books, Ron and Hermione have always shown something for each other, even if it was through arguments and jealousy. It would be really interesting to see how it's written and if so, how Emma and Rupert act it. I really hope they get together!

Potter Princess, hello and welcome to this board. Most of us think that they are already together. Muggy, they do use "we" a lot, it starts at the end of OotP, I think. I don't know if any of you agree, but I think that in by OotP Hermione knows she likes Ron and Ron knows he likes Hermione. I wonder if that will be shown in the movie.

Not only Ron and Hermione use "we" a lot, but they also speak for each other, especially when the other is absent. Since book 5, Harry didn't introduce Ron and Hermione separately to new readers as in the previous books. In book 5, Ron and Hermione were introduced as "Ron and Hermione". In Book 6 it was similarly more referal to "Ron and Hermione", most glaringly at the very end of the book. That's how Harry sees them as a couple.

That's true. In HBP, Harry asked himself how the situation would change if Ron and Hermione be a couple, and how it would change if they separated, and how it would affect their friendship. It seems that Harry saw the relationship between Ron and Hermione is already advanced that they can declare the romance anytime. Harry is preparing himself for that. Harry is indeed a supporter of R/Hr.

Yes, because Harry loves Ron and Hermione, we want the people we love to be happy, he knows that they'd be happiest together, or that they should at least have a chance to be together, because they've had these feelings forever, and Harry has been in the middle, and so have we all. I can't wait for the 7th book where they get there chance.

According to the news from the movie, Ron and Hermione will receive the Prefect appointment letter together, so there will not be the embarrassing act by Hermione that first she thought Harry got the position (as Harry held the badge) and then tried to defend Ron from the Twins.
It would have been a great defining moment, though. Hermione suddenly realised the prospect of being alone with Ron is much greater that she and he have to do Prefect Duties separated from Harry. All feelings are mixed gracefully in that little scene in the book.

Yeah, it must of been scary for Hermione, being alone with the boy you fancy for possiable extended periods of time. With Harry it would of been safe and easy, but with Ron it's hard and confusing. I wonder if they'll include Harrt's jealousy of the pair of them though.

Isn't it very telling, that in the beginning of Book 5, Harry imagining Ron and Hermione having fun without him? Harry can picture them already together! He is not jealous at Ron. He is jealous at both of them together! Also he casts his patronus based on the picture of Ron and Hermione being together. That's the good thing he could think of.
That's why many people think Book 5 OOP is the real beginning of R/Hr romantic relationship. They stumbled in Book 6, and will bond in Book 7. Prescisely according to the author's plan.

As I said in the other thread that it was him being with him that allowed him to cast it, and something else that I thought of, that Ron acted the same way in GoF. Because Ron was jealousy of Harry, but when he watched Harry battle the dragon he was so scared of losing him, that he got over his jealousy, because he loves Harry more than his own feelings of insacurity(sp?). The hole caring about someone than yourself thing shows in all the books in various ways.
But I also think that the idea of Hermione and Ron being together comforts Harry, because they've have to put up with Harry's crap and the war and everything, like his light at the end of the tunnel, his sure thing, because Harry believes that he has to be alone, but Ron and Hermione don't need to be. Buffy felt the same way about Xander and Anya, but I think that Ron and Hermione will actually get married

The union of Ron and Hermione will strengthen the trio and give solid support for Harry. I think Harry realises it too. He is grateful with their opposing advices, although he cannot stand the bickering (basically a dating method for Ron and Hermione).

Yeah but now that they're finally together I think that a lot of the bickering will quiet down because they bicked because they didn't have any other way to deal with their feelings that began to delovope, in think, in second year, so they kept doing it because it was easier than dealing with their feelings.

In my head, I imagine a lot of situation how Ron and Hermione get together. Many of them are at the wedding...

Ron and Hermione finally went to the wedding together. At the reception, after, Ron is about to ask Hermione to dance with him but Victor Krum (he was at wedding because he was one one of the champion at the tourament 3 years ago so Fleur invited him) asked Hermione. Looking disapointed Hermione said yes to be polite. Ron is upset but not jealous (because he have matured) and said to Harry (who is at the same table) about his feelings. A bit later, Hermione asked Ron if he wanted to dance because he hasn't asked her yet. So they danced and Hermione asked him why he was upset so he told her with his jealousy back: ''Why don't you go ask to Victor, the one you snogged?''. Hermione answered him: ''I can't believe you stay on that'' and she go away. Harry run after her to see what was going on. He find her in the room of Hermione and Ginny (because after the reception it's gonna be very late...). She told him about her feelings for Ron. Someone knocked at the door after a couples of minutes and Harry at the same time told her that he had to go to the bathroom (so we can read the scene in the book because Harry still there). Hermione opened the door and... Oh my god that's Ron... He said:''I'm so sorry I should never said those things. I didn't wanted to hurt you because I... I think... I'm in love with... you...''. Hermione begin to cry and said: '' I didn't wanted to hurt you either because I love you too'' and then they kissed!

Ok I know I have BIG imagination... I don't think that THIS gonna happen but I like to imagine that situation! I really hope you understand what I had wanted to say!!! I'm sorry for the one who don't!

I also think the wedding will be an interesting event. Ron and Hermione may seal their relationship right there. They know what's coming: the battle with Voldemort. They want to make sure their bond is there.

And I was takin a quiz on Sparknotes the other day over GoF because I was bored, and it asked a question about why Ron was so ill-tempered at the Yule Ball, and the answer was because He has a crush on Hermione and she went to the Ball with someone else! well, I thought it was funny....

ok, so everyone i talk to was shocked when hermione and ron got together i wasn't! when you talk to people that only watch the movies they say the spark is all between harry and hermione...i think they are wrong.

in the second movie at the very end hermione runs down the great hall and hugs harry, but not ron. showing that she was scared that he would find out about her feelings, in the 3rd movie hermione grabs rons hand looks down and quickly lets go. the fourth movie she gets angry at ron because he only just noticed she ws a girl.

i think its a matter of reading between the lines and watching what they are not doing rather then what harry and hermione are doing!

i love the fact that ron and hermione are together!!!...harry always beats Ron at everything...(with the exception of prefect) and i think that if harry got hermione then that would have put ron over the edge, because harry got the girl.

lozza-cm,I do think that the moveis make clear, Harry and Hermione: friends, Ron and Hermione: friends plus sexual tension. My sister, before she read the books, thought R/Hr when she saw PoA. And I think that Ron is very devoted to Harry, and Harry to Ron, so Harry would never make a move on Hermione because I think that Harry has known for long time how Ron feels about her.

I am so glad that it isn't a love triangle between the three of them.... That would be awful. I don't think I could deal with that if it was. Ellen and I were talking about that one day and she said " This isn't Dawson's Creek." I completely agree with that. If JKR wanted to make it a love triangle between the trio she would have but she didn't.

Well, you are right, we can't deny that our children have grown up so fast *wipes a tear*, they will obviously have sexual feelngs for each other, they are teenagers with raging hormones. But J.K.Rowling does show it in the books does she because children the age of nine read them lol. But Ron and Hermione I think will display some sexual tension, eg. Touching the legs, buttocks. But it is all cool.

In book 6, Ron and Hermione have held hands. Ron brushed snow off Hermione's shoulder. What might have happened and we might have not seen yet is their kissing. Won't be surprised if they walk hand in hand starting book 7.

I think that JKR is gonna make their relationship as special as Harry and Ginny's because she worked on the couple like what? 10 years! She knew then that they will get together and I'm kind of pretty shure that she knew how they will get together from the beginning because she wrote the end before the first book (I think): so... perfect to put clues until book 7 (even if at book 4, 5 and 6 the entire world knew about them...)

Actually, Romana I don't think Ron and Hermiones relationship will be like Harry and Ginnys. I mean, that's why I like it so much. With Ginny and Harry you know they really like and understand each other, you can see it phyiscally. But with Ron and Hermione, you know somethings there, something they don't want to admit is there because it is so strong and confusing. I think that makes their love stronger, it is totatlly obvious, but they act really clue less. Plus it makes it interesting!!

I think JK will have many parts in the 7th book where Ron and Hermione will hold hands etc. but they won't be all over each other like Harry and Ginny. I'm POSITIVE they will dance and bill and fleurs wedding though. I mean, in GOF Hermione said "Next time theres a ball, pack up the courage and ask me before someone else does! and not as a last resort!" I think that was for-shawdoing for the 7th book. A wedding reception could also classify as a ball or a dance but this time Ron will have to ask her to dance before someone else (maybe viktor? because he and fleur where both champions) gets to her first. At the end of Book 6, Hermione has gone through so deep into the wizarding world, far away from the muggle world. She has learned how to set up a wizard family from the Weasleys. Now she and Ron will go with Harry to see other places where magic is present. She will be excited to see more of the wizard world, with Ron as her guide.

i agree, and i was acutally happy when they said they prob wouldnt be going back to hogwarts because I knew Ron and Hermione would be spending so much time together. without anyone (not even lavender!) in the way

I think that their love has been there since the seconed book and every year it has just gotten stronger and stronger. In movie 3, she reaches for his hand and for a seconed Ron act's like nothing happened, like it was supposed to be there. Then they akwardly pulled away, slightly embarrassed. Why would they be embarressed if there wasnt feelings there. And like my Avatar. She had to choice, whos shoulder she wanted to lean on..she chose Rons. Also the constant bickering between the two. Kind of like when your a little kid and you like someone and the only way you can feel close to them is if you make fun of, tease or get into fights with them. That certaintly sounds like Ron and Hermione. Also in movie 3 towards the end at the Womping Willow when Sirius was helping Ron out, Ron was saying silly things to Hermione about how he got bit. Things like ' they might have to chop it' . Thats a sign of him trying to impress her. And going back to the seconed book, when Hermione was petrefied. Ron was affected by it most I think. I feel that is when it turly began. All in all. Im all for Hermione and Ron!!!
