All of the actors acted magnificently but who do you think was
wizard!!? laugh.gif
beauxbaton1000
Emma or Daniel? um ... Daniel ... his improvement was GREAT!! Emma is always good so yeah, Dan in this movie because Emma was slightly disappointing as Hermione. But still both good.
***Emmy_G***
I thought in this film daniel acted a lot better than emma. Daniel is a totally great actor in this film and his acting skills are beyond perfect. smile.gif But i am upset about emmas acting in this film. I totally love emma and i think her acting skills in the first three films were great but in this film its a bit too over the top I still love emma but tongue.gif

I think Dan is the best, but I am from Bulgaria and I think Viktor was great too.He is a good actor. He is new in this life, but I think he will do many films. He will preview Bulgaria good.We-bulgarians are proud with him! rolleyes.gif

Ofcourse Dan.He is just perfect.Emma???grow up man.She is pathetic.
passerby
I think I could pretty clearly see the influence of an acting coach, or poor direction for Emma as Hermione. I can just hear them in the background saying "be annoyed, Emma! You've got to act more superior, so huff a bit more!" I think that if they left her to her own devices, she might continue in the vein of the first film, the Hermione that I love. . . She was a bit over-acted. Ah well. As I didn't find Hermione astutely annoying in any of the other films, I'm chalking this one up to bad advice.

That said, I think Dan has done a splendid job in the growth of his character up to this point. I'm not sure if I would say that his acting skills are better than others at his age, but he's still young by acting standards.

So, my pick is Dan for this film. I think they'll both be able to grow fairly significantly in the future though.
voldemort-is-evil7
Dan was the best actor, hands down. He has improved SO MUCH since the first movie. But of course, I have to say that Rupert did a pretty good job portraying the "stupid" side of Ron.
Princess_Hermione
Dan totally rocked my world! Especially, when he was half-naked in the scene where he takes a bath. That just turned me on! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Also, Stanislav! He was such a hunk! *whistle* wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Emma - totally overacting. i hate it when she criticises the twins when they're about to put their names in the goblet. a little 2 much the know-it-all thing blink.gif Poor.
joeyjoejoe
Hands down, Ralph Fiennes stole the show as Lord voldemort. Emma did not portray Hermione well("I am not an owl, Ronald!") that is not great acting. Dan made Harry look like Mr. Anger-Management, and Rupert just made our Wheezy look dense. Dont get me started on Gambon. Is Matthew Lewis's overbite real?????
Nimbus
Lol, I completely agree with you, Passerby. Emma definitely had a lot of irritated "uh"s in there, like when lecturing the twins about the ageing line...two in one sentence if I remember correctly. But over all I think Emma did a really nice job and I'm sure it was the director's call to have all those in there, as you pointed out.

Dan's acting was also very good. He improves more and more every movie- as he should. The only part that I thought was a bit off was when he is talking to Nevill as they are walking on the dock to the second task and he says something to the effect of "You're telling me this now? You've got to be joking!" But yeah, other than that I think he was great. I also think he's a very good physical actor (not sure if that's the right terminology) but when they are in the maze and he sees Fluer sucked under and has to shoot the sparks its almost as if you can read his mind when he gets up shaking as if he doesn't know what to do and then looks down and sees his wand, it's almost as if you can hear him thinking "oh yeah...I have a wand"
marire
Daniel made deffinetly best improved in film, but I still think he can still to something better. I think he's crying doesn't still sound real, it's more comical than said.
But in my oppinion Emma has been good in all movies so he beats Dan.
I think that Ralph Fiennes was best actor in film. He made Voldemort look frightening and very real. I know it has lot to do with makeup, but good evils doesn't just look scary, they are scary. I'm very happy with him.
Brendan Gleeson made also good job. He really gave the feeling that Mad-eye was, well, mad and fully capable for fighting against dark wizards.
Capricorn
Out of the younger actors i would have to say Krum and Daniel, and of the adults Ralph Fiennes, Moody and Maggie Smith were good. The best of course was Alan Rickman - he completely steals any scene his in. He plays Snape exactly as he should - like a man under enormous strain. I can't wait for "Snape's worst memory" from OotP and all the dueling and fighting in HBP!
joeyjoejoe
Come to think of it, Snape didn't really show up that much in GoF. Still, he plays major roles in Phoenix and Prince, so he'll be a great actor in those. happy.gif -Snape isnt such a bad guy, really
Gryffindor_Angel
Dan was great!! Emma was ok (I still like her but Dan had a very dramatic performance)

Emma???grow up man.She is pathetic.

So... um... when were you appointed as king of the world?

Anyway, I think Dan made a great improvement! He's getting better by each movie! Emma is the best in my opninion, she always was, and I think she will go far in this industry. Rupert is also brilliant, he has a natural talent! So that's that, I think all three of them are still great and will continue to be great! wink.gif
cesador
i have to go with Dan on this one he did do a pretty good job playing the harry of the 4th book. But in over all actors i think the best was moody he acted just as i remebered from the book.
fjkrs
Ron ron ron ron ron! lol I think he is the best actor out of them all yes there were a few consistency mistakes and such but when he does what he is supposed to he is really good, expecially his angry face tongue.gif I love his expressions.
Emma watson uses her eyebrows too much its too hard to believe but shes a better actress then I will ever be.
Dan was pretty good in this one, some lines seemed random almost because he didnt quite have it but the yells of pain when voldy touched his forehead were really good.

Oh and the Phelps were REALLY good they are just so believe-able.
Sarah
I think in this movie Dan was definatly better than in the other 3 movies, but Emma 's acting is better. She acts more natural and I simply love the character she plays. Rupert 's acting was as good as in the other three movies.

From the adults I think Alan was always the best. He made Snape as real as possible, just as I imagined it.

I can't believe this quesiton is even being asked. Emma was awful in GoF. There were s0 many moments where she over-acted in the movie or under-acted. 0r showed an emoti0n which didn't fit the scene at all.

Dan's acting has been pretty constant through-0ut the series. He was great in the scenes with Cho and the task scenes. Not so great during the scene where Cedric dies but since it was the first time he had to act out being scared, kind of crazy and crying at the same time I forgive him.

So I say 100% Dan.
HermioneClone
Um. . .it's a tie. Love Emma. Love Dan. I can't pick. Really. I can't. I'm going o have to say that they both have my vote!
joeyjoejoe
Emma was completely pathetic. Dan was OK in the movie, I guess. He was better than he was in POA. Emma was practically crying when Moody asks her what the Unforgivable curses do. That part was stupid. Ron was pretty good. alan was great, but I did not see alot of him in gof

Emma s my favourite actor! She was told to cry when Moody asks her what the Unforgiveable Curses do. The director tells them what to do, and they have to do it. I like the bit where she comes down the stairs to the Yule Ball she looks really nervous. biggrin.gif
tuni
hey [frndz] friends,Dan really perform[z]s very well as compare to Emma, but i think that not Emma mistake,[coz] because Dan got enough part in the movie as compared to Emma.
I really likes Emma wub.gif

MOD EDIT: I edited netspeka agian in your post. dry.gif Type it all out next time.
Helena_723
I thought Dan was really good. His crying when Cedric died was a little more realistic than when in POA when he found out that Sirius was his godfather.
mikipez
i think daniel.. but i like so emma... daniel when cedric died is more realistic for me! what do you think about this????
sockr24
so many people think that dan is some amazing actor. i know that he is good but very few people aknowledge Rupert Grint who is my opinion the best of the trio.
i have to agree with fjkrs. rupert has amazing facial expressions and he acts like that is how he really is. he really brings Ron Weasley to life.
Yoanna
Pfff, how could you aswer this laugh.gif ,dan normaly..He`s the hero, not emma..to me honests what could emma done so extraordinaly to be the hero,to be our favourite in the 4 book

I agree that Dan was my favourite acting wise. About the whole crying thing ... he did do better than in the third movie but I don't want to critisize him in the third movie because it's an extremely difficult thing to do so... I think he did well. I wonder how he'll do in OOTP when Sirius dies..
Dumbledore's Widow
Who acted best in GoF? It was Bonnie as Ginny. NO! wait ... that's not right ... she barely had a speaking role ... (said with tongue in cheek!).

I think that Dan acted best. He's getting better with each subsequent film. The fact that he is steadily employed as an actor (in film and on stage) helps I am sure.

I wasn't crazy about Emma's crying in the scene about the unforgivable curses. Seemed too forced for me. But, don't get me wrong, she is also improving. And, I just adore Emma and her portrayal of Hermione!

Rupert continues as the Trio clown. He's always good for a laugh, like the actors who play the Weasley twins.
Abraxas
I think Dan's performance was best in this film, closely followed by Jason Isaacs' regretfully short one. Tom Felton was brilliant too, he acted really well, really in-character. I think I'm obsessing with the Malfoys but come on, they did a really good performance for us this time around. Hehe they always do.
