A bit obvious and i was surprised not to see it either in the search or in he ship thread......well i think it can happen but what do you think.....there are many people that think its definitely happening but there are that dont.....i want to know everybodies opinions about this ship...could it happen or not?

i for one know it is most certainly going to happen but what if we lose hagrid during the 7th book that'll be really sad but anyway i think that its going to happen

I think that they are a match made in heaven though maybe if Hagrids half brother when he is trained may come between hagrid and madam maxime.

Yes , I'm kind of a Hagrid /Madam Maxime shipper my self too , and I think they are a macth made in heaven also I'm hoping that they will get married in the 7th book too along with Ron and Hermione , Harry and Ginny , and B/F .

well well i really like the couple of Madam Mauxime and Hagrid.Both of them looks very cute with eachother.And remeber how Hagrid possessed with Madam Mauxime in the Yule Ball.

I think they should be together because Madame Maxime is one of the only people that Hagrid can relate to.

oh, they would make such a GOOD couple! i can see it happening already. they drop MANY hints in the movie.As well as in the book, but they made it REALLY obvious in the movie.i think that by the end of the series they should end up married/ engaged/ going out, ect.that'll be wonderful!

I think that as long as the two don't end up in some major mess that they can't get out of like if they go on a mission for the Order and can't get through it then that would be the only thing to stop them two from being together. I think that those two are perfect for each other, lets hope it continues!!!

I agree, I think Hagrid and Maxine would make a very good couple. However, if hagrid does something to offend her or, as Weasley's_Wizarding_Weezes said, they go on a mission that they cant pull off. Overal, I think it's a good relationship and will work out.

I agree with Weasley's_Wizarding_Weezes, if they went on a mission and something happened, then that would definitely be a ruined relatiopnship. They can't kill either of them!I'de be to sad. They have to get together by the end of the series.

I think they make a nice couple. Also, I think if Hagrid has a hand in the final battle, which I'm sure he will, I don't think he'll die. Also, I think at the last minute the giants might show up and be on the good side, especially if they think that they'll be used as servants,slaves,etc if Voldemort wins. What did Madam Maxime eat out of Hagrid's beard? Crumbs of some food or was that a bug?

Hagrid and Madame Maxime are great together. In Book 4 they were all over each other, and they're both half-giants(well Madame Maxime denies this ) and they are really sweet together. The 4th movie shows this very well.I really hope in Book 7 that they get together.

I always thought that Hagrid and Madame Maxime were really cute together. Hagrid is always so shy around her, and Madame seems quite taken with him. Especially at the end of book six when she flings herself into Hagrid's arms.

Besides, when is the next time you can find another half-giant? Way to go Hagrid and Madame Maxime!

Yeah exactly. I think they are so cute together. They deserve each other. And like you say when will another half giant for Hagrid come along. I would love to see them together. Maybe they won't announce it but just be seen kissing and holding hands or something and cuddling.

Oh no, not at all, everyone at school calls me Pickles. Don't worry about it. Anyway back to the topic, there were cuddling and a few humerous moments. I kept laughing when Hagrid touched Madam Maxime's bum and then she moved his hand back to her back. I thought it was so funny. I hope there is more of that in future movies.

Well the relationship was kind of to be expected really. But to be honest with you I find it gross. Something about that woman is just wrong...creepy even. And in GOF when she eats some bug or whatever out of his beard...nasty!

Well Hargrid obviously is in love with Madam Maxime and vise versa, they show it, they act it, come on.. so obvious.. Shouldnt even be a ships about this, IMHO. Oh well, we'l; see. And No.. HAGRID WILL NOT DIE, atleast he better not.. /sigh\

I saw these two in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was so cute the way the danced together. I hope they get together.

Well i think Hagrid and Madam Maxime make a very cute couple!!! And it's not everyday that Hagrid meets a part-giant woman who likes him and he likes her!!! Since there isn't a lot of part-giants living near Hogwarts are there?

All I have to say is they where meant for each other, and obviously they like each other, cause the first day when Madam Maxime came Hagrid had the eye for her, he kept looking at her, so really if they like each other it was just a plain, just meant to be!

I agree with you Mistress of Magic I think they make a perfect couple. But I don't know if they will stay together any longer to tell you the truth. I also hope that Maxime will be at least mentioned in the next book. But you never know maybe they are through and Hagrid will find another lady ..........but i highly doubt it. But you also never know with J.K. Rowling writing the book !!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure that they will get together. However, i wish that they would! Hagrid seemed so incredibly happy with her, and they make the cutest couple ever! Hagrid deserves to have a love interest more than any other character in the series. . .okay, maybe besides Dumbledore. . . but other than him, Hagrid deserves someone special. I want to see little Hagrids running aorund.

awww when i first read the book and saw their relationship developing i was like awwww. i thought it was sweet and thought that i would be sweet for Hagrid to have some one to love. who does he really have?? erm ok he has friends to talk to and to stand by him but he should have someone that he get can closer too. he can't get that close to Harry etc ...
actually then again. he is very emotional and isn't afraid to cry. but i just think that he deserves that special someone and i think he seemed to click with Madam Maxime.

I love this couple! Hagrid is clearly smitten with Madame Maxine and she shows affection towards him too. They would be really great together as Hagrid can confide in her more than anyone else and it seems she can tolerate his little brother too as although she split from him on the journey home from the mountains in OOTP, she still went some of the way with Hagrid and Grawp.

Aw! Of course they are going to hook up! If they haven't already: remember at the end of HPB? MM basiaclly threw herself into Hagrid's arms during DD's funeral! Conveinient, eh? Both half-giants who like each other...

Correct me if I'm mistaken but didnt in book 5 after they went on their journey didn't something happen and they "split up" as like with their love? Or am I wrong.....

YYYYYEEEEEEAAAHHH!!! Hagrid/ Mdme. Maxime is the best ship (in my opinion) in the whole series! it would be not but my deepest ship-related pleasure to see the married! It seems so foolproof and so perfect, like there will be nothing wrong with it. I know no relationships work out that way, but it's just... so... Perfect! I love that ship, it's my strongest supported one

Yeah, I love the thought of Hagrid and Madame Maxime. The way they get together in GoF, are always talking, dancing, etc. So cute! I guess it was kind of obvious, but I really like it. I really hope we hear of them getting together!

I was a bit disappointed that there was no Hagrid/Mme Maxime in DH. It's not one of my big ships that I support, but it would have been nice if there was just a reference to it or something. Oh well, just because it wasn't mentioned doesn't mean that it didn't happen!

It could happen and should have!!! It would be so sweet to see Hagrid with someone. He's such a fab character I think it's a shame he's always been on his own.

I think he and Madam Maxime would be adorable together. When they were at the Yule Ball together I was so happy for him.

I was so happy for Hagrid when he and Madame Maxime went to the Yule Ball. They fit together so well. She is just the right person for him, to straighten him out and kick his butt every now and then.
