KEEPSTAR!!!!!!!!! Oh it's so good to see you back here, I'm glad you're feeling better and your computer's fixed, not the same without you.

Anyway, I have to totaly agree with you Keepstar, Seattle is such a complete team in every aspect of the game. Everything runs smoothly, almost flawlessly. Granted, Pitsburg is a pretty complete team as well, but I don't think they have enough to beat Seattle. Then again, I didn't pick them to beat Indy or Denver, and they did, so you never know. But I do expect it to be a close game no matter who wins.
secretkeeper
Hey keepstar, glad your back and I'm sorry to see that you were in the hospital yet again. I hope everything is OK now. Yeah I had a hunch that you might be happy. laugh.gif

Well I am sick from school today and I was watching NFL Live and they brought up some interesting things. The Hawks are 10-0 wearing their blue jersey's and the Steelers are 7-0 wearing their white and thats what jerseys they are going to wear. Also, Matt has been in the league for like 6 or 7 years I think and Ben will be the 2nd youngest QB to start in a superbowl. Hmm who could that other person be... Dan Marino. So big Ben is in good company.

The last thing is, who is on a role? Seatle has played well in their past 8 or 9 games, the Steelers have won 7 strait and 5 of them were on the road and some of those teams were the Colts and the Broncos. So they have beaten the best team in the league durning the regular season and the #3 team. All thats left for them is to take out the man in the middle.

Sorry Keepstar, looks like we're on opposite sidelines in this game.

Okay...to add my two cents....

I am Aussie and support the Aussie way 100%- meaning AFL- Aussie Rules footy.....(to all you toehr die-heard fans, the wizard home-loan cup starts on feb 20 and the home-and-away season starts sometime after that)

If you have never heard of it, basically it combines soccar and american rules, but with more grit and spear tackling...

We have the best of all worlds- you can tackle, you can mark (catch) the ball, you can kick for goal and best of all, there is no huge helmets and pansy armor to slow you down or halt any perving you may like to do....

I am an avid west coast fan and I absolutely LOATHE Collingwood (dirty boys mate) and FREMANTLE (West Coasts one major rival- the Derbys are the best games in the world)......

In my opinion, the best sport imaginable....So rough and dirty......hehe

Hey it wouldn't be fun unless we wereon different side Secret! *lol* but i've got ghost and thats all that matters wink.gif

Anywho... im really excited for the draft. Thats where i take two days off from school and never leave my couch *lol* i think that Texans are going to pick up Bush, even though they might do better with White.

And im not exactly sure who is going to get picked up first Leinhart or Young... it will be quite interesting!

Mae
Ghost
Oh yeah, I simply can not wait for the draft. Me and my sister over the last few years have started watching, at least the entire first day, together. I find it so exciting. lol I too think the Texans will take Bush, in fact, I'm sure of it, they've already announced they will. Though I'm wondering if they're going to use him to get some better linemen and better people at other positions they need. I mean, they have a pretty solid running back already, and with an improved O-line he could be really good one.

So Keepstar, I'm all you need huh? WOOHOO, in your face secret, but I kid, no hard feelings.

I hope you were watching NFL Total Access last night on the NFL Network Keepstar. They talked with your Joe live on Seahawks' cam strait from the Seattle training facility about this being his third Super Bowl trip. He seems like a cool guy.

My sources said that Leinhart is going 2 and young is going 3. They said that the Saints, I think is who is 2, said that they want Leinhart. And this is a reliable source. I'm Italian, I got sources in high places. laugh.gif But yeah draft day is going to be interesting. I only watch the first 30 minuets of the draft and then check in every now and then to get an update.

I would have thought that you have seen Bush on Special Teams. His rookie season, he will be the best punt and kickoff returner in the league. Right now, he isn't an every down back but give him pre-season and the first few weeks and he will have plenty of 100+ games. As for White going number 1, HA he doesn't have the whole package like Young, Bush and Leinhart do. He might got top 10 but I think he will go 13 or 14.

Ok who loves my cute new avatar *lol* its so football-esque.

I totally missed that interview sad.gif dry.gif mad.gif I'll have to find it on the internet or maybe catch a rerun or something. It will be his 3rd huh? hes a vet (ive finally come to terms with that) and i think when it comes down to the bis SB those are the guys that really step up. That receiving core is amazing. And even though Pitt has an awesome secondary... hasslebeck will have a few peeps he can throw to.

To be perfectly honest i never thought about Bush on Special Teams (i need like a slap in the forhead icon). And with the Texans horendous line and the fact that Bush is pretty small being a return man might be the place for him while he acclamates to the NFL. Though i also think that that might be a sure fire way to get him hurt. He'll have the pressure to get that extra yardage to put the texans in decent range.

I'm having a SB party and i wish i could invite you all. I'm even making those little hot dog weiners with the like cooked bread stuff on the outside. *lol*

Secret don't do that! *lol* its just fun being on opposite sides as you! *Lol* and anyways ghost and i go way back *lol* biggrin.gif

KK im out. it's friday and i am going on a road trip to the frats *lol*

3 hours and 30 minuets until kickoff. I've been watching all the pre-game shows since 8 this morning and it looks like a lot more people are picking the Steelers to win. I was planning on going to my girlfriends house to watch the game with everybody but that ended on friday so I guess I'm staying home tonight.

Mae, the war starts at 5:30 central time tonight. laugh.gif

Mae, I didn't see the final score what was it? Who won?? I missed that part. biggrin.gif I know that you're probably crying right now but its OK, theres always next year. biggrin.gif Just kidding. You know I'm just joking.

Steelers won big time, 21-10. The Seahawks played horrible though. They couldn't complete that big play without getting a penility called on them. And then Hasselback couldn't complete a pass when they counted and he didn't manage the clock very good. Looks like the Superbowl is the Bus's last stop!!

Go Steelers!!!
karsh05
well, seahawks...what can i say other than you let me and the rest of the browns fans in the world down. Naw just a bit dissapointed. Steelers really deserved that, they played amazing. seahawks, on the other hand, well, yeah you get where im going. I'm happy for Cowers too because he deserved that big time, as well as who i thought the games' MVP's were: Jerome Bettis and Randal El. They were both awesome. Great Job to both teams and WATCH YOUR BACKS! THE BROWNS'LL BE THERE IN JUST TWO MORE YEARS!! laugh.gif
keepstar1331
sad.gif sad.gif That is me right now. I am crying secret you know that! *Lol* but my joe did pretty good huh? he had some pretty ood catches and a few important first downs. But i dont really mind that pit won. I did want "The Bus" to get a ring and like he said the bus did make its final stop in his hometown.

There were a few questionable plays but maybe im being a sore loser. Like that Roethlesberger Touchdown and the offensive pass interference on D-Jax. It was a good game during the first half though so i guess it was a good superbowl overall, and the only thing that stinks is that i bet the spread and lost big... very big... $400 big. o-well i guess thats my fault for betting anyways *lol*

ANd there is always next year. Seattle will have the same core team and that means that they will have there awesome chemistry still.

As for being a football chick... thats awesome!! im the biggest one you'll meet ask the guys here. I live, eat, and sleep football. It is my life *lol* Well im out i have class and sulking to do tomorrow!

Love you all!

Thats how much I almost made. I said that Seahawks would score first and they would be the first to kick a field goal and pitt to score the first touchdown and win. I won almost $300 from my friends. They'll want their money back in March.

That offensive pass inerferance wasn't a good call. He bairly pushed him and that wouldn't be called 9 times out of 10. As for Big Ben's tounchdown run, it crossed the goal line. The first inch or two of the ball crossed it. They played it about 8 times and 7 of them I saw it cross the line.

How bout the commercials though. I like the one where the small horse is trying to pull that carriage and then the two big clidsdale's are pushing from the back. I also liked the one where that guy hid all of those bud lights in the office and everybody was fighting. laugh.gif Good stuff.
Ghost
Well secret, congrats man, Pit played a better game, as for you Keepstar, I feel for you. I just hope you had an easier time on Sunday than I did. My whole family was routing for Pittsburg and they decided they needed to raze me every time something good happened for them. Though, I did have that coming as I did the same to them when Seattle was doing well in the first quarter. But as secret said earlier, there's always next year. I would probably have bet money on the game, and lost, if I had it, but alas, I didn't.

As for the commercials, yes, I agree with you secret about those two. Over all, I think this years were better than they have been in a long time. I think my favorite was either the FedEx one with the dinosaurs, or the one where they have all those players practicing saying "I'm going to Disney World!" those were funny. I know there were some other ones I thought were really funny, but I can't remember them right now.
keepstar1331
i too liked the horse one, all the girls over at my apartment said "awww". My favorite though had to be the Shaq one when he said "Im so sad Gabby lost the baby". It was just funny to see Shaq with a tear in his eye about Desperate Houswives *lol*

I guess all i have to look forward to now is the draft. Impretty excited to hunker down on my couch and skip school to watch it. Its like a party in itself. I hope there are no more fiascos like there has been in previous years, but then again thats what makes it fun!
Ghost
I know what you mean Keepstar, I love to entrench myself on my sofa and watch as we see who goes where. I just wich I had my own place to watch it so I didn't start getting complaints after the first two hours. Darn family, but I kid. Yeah, I think it's one of the best parts of football, and especially of the off-season. Now I just need to find out when it is, ah, I can't wait.
keepstar1331
oh i totally forgot... secret when i come home for spring break, if for some odd reason i see you in chicago... i am going to bedeck you in blue and green streamers, pin a seahawk emblem on you, and then run away giggling histarically tongue.gif

The draft is in April, like the 6th or something im not sure. Or like the 16. Its on my calender but im too lazy to get up and look. ill post it later.

Ghost, if you lived near me you secreat and i could have a 48 pow wow and watch the draft lol
potter's girl
Go Steelers!!! I am 100% Pittsburgh fan and sooo happy!!! I can't wait till the black and gold do it again next year! Too bad the bus is retiring though. We'll miss you Jerome! Go Steelers!

Haha, Good luck trying to find me. You'll have to travel about another 3000 miles south west in Hawaii to find me on spring break because thats where I'll be. biggrin.gif Theres always next year. laugh.gif

I found out today that David Carr got an 8 million dollar bonus so Bush is going 1 definatily and Young is going 3. That was a shocker kinda because I was starting to believe that Young might go to Texas.
Ghost
Oh wow Keepstar, that sounds like the most awesome idea I've heard in a long time. It really is to bad that we live so far away, course, my family would practically accuse me of treason for stepping foot in your apartment as you are a Beavers fan, but oh well. What they don't know we imagined can't hurt them, can it? By the way, I checked it out on NFL.com, the draft is April 29-30.

Yes, secret, there is always next year, when my Broncos will kick some major hind parts in the playoffs and dethrone the defending Super Bowl champs like they did this last year, only this time, we're going to the big one ourselves. That's the plan anyway.
keepstar1331
Im laughin my pants off right now. My spring break is probably before your so ill be home! and if i stay in oregon i close to hawaii *lol*

Yes, my beavers. I have to support the home team.

As far as Bush going to texas, o well. If he gets hurt that would be horrible, but maybe the texans might actually do good this year. David carr is pretty cute *lol*

Dangit Mae, I just missed you. I saw the funniest commercial and this guy gave his girlfriend or date a poem. It went like this:

"My heart is like a football and is you are the one to hike it,
My heart is yours as long as you don't spike it"

laugh.gif I laughed soo hard when I saw this. It reminded me of you because of your signature. Oh well I thought I just might share that with you. biggrin.gif
keepstar1331
thats adorable secret. if my boyfriend ever gave me thaty i would know he was a keeper *lol*

The pro bowl was yesterday... it was actually pretty good. Guess who won???? MY team lead by my darling Hasslebeck. Peyton sucked which for some reson gives me great personal joy biggrin.gif

Hasselbeck also won the quarterback competition and it was fun watching the kicker do all the events with the other players and actually going quite well.

The pro bowl is sad for me... it really is the last last football game of the season sad.gif

Mae
Ghost
Oh, I've seen that commercial, I thought it was hilarious. I mean honestly, that's an awesome poem, because spiking the ball really sucks. Because it means you’re grasping at straws because the clock is running down and you don't have any time-outs left. So if you apply that to a relationship, it means it's falling apart, ya see what I mean?

I know how you feel Keepstar, I've never actually watched the Pro Bowl because of one thing or another. Like this year, my TV wasn't working, so I couldn't watch, when I finally make a point of watching it too. Well anyway, yeah, it is so depressing, because now its like, what do I do for the next six and a half months or so.
keepstar1331
hey has anyone heard anything about the whole Ricky Williams thing? last i heard he missed a drug test and there was something about him benig in rehab? im not sure whats all going on...

Ive decided that im really into arena football... i made this descision yesterday... dont ask me why. i just like it.

Im missing football sad.gif my life seems a little empty...

You favorite football gal,
Mae
Ghost
I know how you feel Keepstar, I feel quite empty without my precious Football.

As for the Ricky Williams thing, I never heard whether it was a failed drug test or a missed drug test, nor did I hear about the rehab thing. What I read, however, was that it wasn't being released whether it was a failed or missed thing and that Williams was presently in India doing some yoga program and wouldn't be back in the US for almost a month which is when he would find out about all of this. I also know that my team, the Broncos in case anybody but us three get involved here, were seriously thinking of trading for him and so were a few other teams. But now that this has come up it's put a halt on all of it, because no team is going to trade for a player that could potentially be out for an entire year. Also, it halts the Dolphins doing pretty much anything with him since none of this will be cleared up completely until Williams is back in the US and has a hearing. Once that happens, however, it might be like a month and a half to two months from now meaning many of the teams that were interested in him might very well have gone elsewhere. And if it turns out he'll be out for all of next season than nobodies going to take him and he won't have much stock next off season since he wouldn't have played the last. From everything I've heard it really is a big mess. I would know more, but unfortunately, I no longer have access to my favorite channel, the NFL Network. So there we have it, I'll have to rely on NFl.com. *pouts*
secretkeeper
I think he missed a mandatory drug test and is now in rehab. There hasn't been a lot of talk about it except the announcment. I am personally fed up with Ricky because he is an idoit for retiring in his prime and then coming back weaker and slower than he was and he became a 3rd string. I feel no sympathy for the man.
Ghost
I will admit Secret that I have a hard time feeling sorry for him after he dragged not only the good name of the Dolphins but pretty much the whole NFL through the mud. However, I do believe in giving people another chance should they show that they have made some kind of turn around. Which I truly believe Williams did, even still, yes I'm tired of him in all these kind of stories, and it’s kinda getting to the Terrell Owens point with me. Though for his sake, I hope he doesn't have to sit out all next year and will be able to get back close to the level he was once at, I doubt he'll be able to. I don't know what the penilty is for missing a mandatory drug test.
keepstar1331
So Alexander is a free agent on Friday I think... im worried. I hope he stays with the seahawks i think he might. There is so much for him here and the team is so strong that they will probably make it pretty far again this year.

I have a draft countdown... yes!!!

May all your Hail Mary's be caught,
MAE!!!! tongue.gif
Ghost
I am so terribley distraught, today I found out that the Broncos cut three of my favorite players on the team, Mike Anderson, Trevor Pryce, and Jeb Putzier. I could Hardly belive it, they all contributed so much last year and I quite plannly loved the guys. Also, my older sister is a teacher at the day care where Pryce sends his children and is really good friends with his wife, well, technically they're not married, but even still. I'm very upset, I understand why they had to do it for cap reasons, however I still feel like killing Shanahan, and I've never wanted to do that before.

Hope things go better for YOu guys Keepstar and Secret.
keepstar1331
I can't beleive they cut Mike Anderson... wow. And i agree that Trevor Pryce really stepped up this year. i can totally understand why your upset, who knows what im going to do if alexander goes to a different team...

My friend keeps joking and saying that alexander is going to houston, but since seattle has such room on the cap im sure they will resign him... wub.gif

Ghost
I wouldn't worry Keepstar, I can't see the Seahawks releasing a running back who broke the TD record and was so close to rushing for 2000 yards last season. Also, from everything I've heard, the Seahawks were very pleased with Joe's performance last year and will probabley keep him around, especially since you said they're so far under the cap. I mean, I would keep the guy.

As for my players fall from Broncodom, I guess I'm going to be routing for three new teams this year, lol. I was just as shocked as you were, not to mention depressed, but I think I said that. I seriously hope the Anderson goes to a new team and rushes for over 2000 yards before his career is over. Here's to hope. *lifts imaginary glass*
keepstar1331
So the free agency free for all starts toomorrow. At like 12:01 am. I dont know what aim going to do and i have mondo butterflies in my stomach. Ill be interested to see how everything falls insto place. I think JOe is going to the Browns....

ANyways we'll see about Alexander. I hope they can convince him to stay. The hawks have so much room on the cap that i think they will keep him. Im also interested in the QB shuffle that will be taking place. See which guys go where..
Ghost
Congratulations Keepstar, Seattle signed Alexander to an eight year deal. Drinks all around! Though, I haven't heard about Joe, I hope he doesn't go to the Browns, not only do I have an inexplicable dislike for them, I want him to stay at Seattle because I think he'd do better there and really help their team. I haven't heard anything about him going anywhere, so why do you think he's going to be a Brown?

Yeah, so, I was all excited about Free Agency starting too. But then, I found out that it's been delayed yet again because the Owners and Players Union are retards that don't know how to work out a deal. Now, I know it's no simple thing to work all this out, but honestly, they've known about this for how long? Don't you think they would have wanted to start working this out a few years ago? Okay, maybe they did and I just don't know, however I've only started hearing about it within this last Football season. And if they don't work all this out soon, who knows when Free Agency would start, and if they don't work it out at all we'll have an uncapped season in 2007... That would just be chaos, can you imagine? It'd be like, dare I say it, Baseball. One of the teams with a lot of money would just come up and basically buy the Superbowl for their franchise. Now I grant you, it's a whole lot harder to do than it is in *shivers* Baseball, but it's still doable. And do we really want that kind of stain put on the NFL? I don't think so. Also, think of how bad the Cardinals, 49ers, and Texans would feel not being able to get any good players because they don't have the money to spend. lol
secretkeeper
Yeah, Alexander got I think 6 years for 68 million dollars. Not a bad thing for him. I don't remember his signing bonus but it had to be way up there. The biggest surprise that I have seen so far is Isaac Bruce was released from the Rams. I thought I read it wrong but they released him. Davis was cut by the Panthers. I thought he was one of their best players.

Well there were a lot of cuts made today and there will be many more to come.
woody
guys i really did not like the super bowl refs i live in seattle and the hawks finally get there and they get screwed over it was definantley not fair
Ghost
Yes, thank God, they worked out an agreement. No uncapped season in 2007 and no possibility of a lost season in 2008. I'm so happy that the owners accepted the player’s union offer. And, they got a revenue sharing plan in place so despite the higher cap the teams with a smaller fan base will be able to compete for players in free agency and in trading. So it would appear everything is hunky-dory for six years when it is due to expire again.

Ya' know Secret, I found it very surprising that the Rams released Bruce. I thought he would be there forever. But on the other hand I can understand why they did it, if they did it for cap reasons, which I heard is what the deal with that was.
Quality Quidditch Supplies
Secret, nice to see you again, buddy.

I'm a huge Panthers fan, and cutting Davis was a good thing, man. He was taking up tons of cap space, and though he scored touchdowns this season, they were all 1 or 2 yarders. He didn't have the same mind set he had in the '03 season. You saw him getting knocked in the mouth by defenders and not giving anything back, plus a healthy DeShaun Foster is a whole lot better than Davis, maybe even in his prime.

Only problem is that we need to either sign a new running back, or depend on DeShaun to stay healthy, something that hasn't happened in a almost 6 years. Sorry, woody, but I think with DeShaun we kick ya'll around like an old boot. wink.gif

We also need to sign Will Witherspoon, but that's not likely. He's much too good, and we'd have to overpay to keep him.
secretkeeper
Hi Mason, is good to hear from you again.

Thats exactly why I thought cutting Davis was a bad idea because what if Foster gets hurt and then you don't really have a good running back. But it did clear a lot of salary cap room from my understanding. I was rooting for the Panthers almost the entire way except when they played Chicago, well I kind of had to or everybody would hate me. It will be interesting to see how they manage and if they make any moves on another key player. Just think if you had Steve Smith and Isaac Bruce.... laugh.gif
Ghost
Maybe this is just me secret, but I'd rather not imagine the possibility of the panthers having both Steve Smith and Isaac Bruce, because quite frankly, it scares the crud out of me. I mean honestly, I don't think there'd be a team with a bigger wide out threat and I also don't think that any team has the secondary needed to stop such a duo, at least none that I can think of, obviously. As for the Panthers' cutting Davis, I really think that was a mistake despite how much room it cleared up in the salary cap. Sure, Foster is a skilled running back that can get the yards you need, when he's healthy, but he hasn't been, especially if I remember last year correctly. *I had him on my fantasy team* Davis, on the other hand, is a consistent runner who can step up if other people around him go down, which they have. And from what I've heard he's a pretty durable guy. So the only logical reason I can see for cutting him was the salary cap, which I grant you is a big deal. I just hope it doesn't come back to bite them in butt later in the year.
Quality Quidditch Supplies
Nah, it won't. I work for the Panthers, so I kind of have a little inside information...Davis was terrible.

Ghost, you say he had good fantasy team numbers, but how many 100 yard games did he have? And He used to be pretty durable, but he's been in and out with knee injuries for the past two years. It was a really good move, IMO. The man got old, it happens to everyone. He hit his peak a couple years back, and it was time to move on.

DeShauns health concerns are a little bit of a problem, but in a way, we were protected by them. He was planning on hitting the free agency market with several 150 yd playoff games in recent memory; there's no way we could afford to keep him. I think he'll do just fine this season...but of course, we need to draft somebody. Eric Shelton, who was supposed to be the savior running back, was absolutely horrible. The man has no drive, no will power, nothing. I don't expect him to make it past training camp this year; word around work was that he only made the team this year cause of cap concerns if we cut him, and his injury. wacko.gif

But have ya'll noticed the Cardinals all of a sudden spending money? They picked up James, and he could turn them into an offensive powerhouse. They lead the league last year in passing yards per game, with Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgeral, Edgerrin James...who cares who's under center, with that type of playmakers?!? They need to address their O-Line in the draft, but that's fairly easy to do, what with their high picks and all.
secretkeeper
Yeah, injuries have haunted many great running backs in the last few seasons. Amahad Green for the Packers, that killed them. But anyways, I have already picked my super bowl winner for next year, the Washington Redskins. Let me tell you their three Wideouts: Santana Moss, Antwaan Randel El, and Brandon Lloyde. All very good targets to throw to. They also got Adam Archeleta on defense from the Rams. And Clinton Portis in the backfield, watch out.

Here's what I think is funny, today Keyshawn Johnson just got cut from the Cowboys. This is a good chance that Dallas wants TO. I think that is so funny and TO is going to tear apart that team too. Maybe my Eagles will pick up Keyshawn........nah we just got rid of a cry baby, we don't need another one.
keepstar1331
Hey everyone... who missed me? lol. The past week has been crazy in this free agent scramble. I think the biggest impact is how its gonna affect the draft.

Since Breese went to the Saints they are no longer going to use their pick on Leinart which was the popular consensus. Now if we figure they are going to pick up someone else. as picking matt would only be useful as a trading tool, we can only speculate who WILL draft him. I think most likely it will be the JETS and the saints might pick up D'Brickashaw or someone else

Umm, i dunno. im still depressed over my Joe going to the browns... if there are any browns fans... know that i envy you...

Oh one of my good friends joe sent this to me last night when we had a bash session on Vince Young. Its an article that just basically rips him apart.

Vince Young Article

Oh wow, I am so interested to see how the Draft is going to go now that all these top draft pick teams who needed a QB have secured them through Free Agency now no longer need to draft Matt Leinert, Vince Young, and the others that were expected to go high up. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets did draft D'Brickashaw Ferguson. If they don't draft decide to go in a diferent direction than Pennington and draft a QB that is. But I think they're pretty set with him, though it couldn't hurt to have a good backup for him, as last season proved.

So Keepstar, what made you think Joe was going to ther Browns in the first place, as he ended up doing. I was kind of out of the loop at that point.

Anyway, I see Terrel Owens went to the Cowboys. I think that'll be a good fit, for or year or so. I find interesting though that he went there after all his anticks on their prescious star. I think it would be funny, and annoying, if he started doing his little stand on the star thing for all the home games this season.

Ghost! i was starting to get heart broken because i hadnt talked to you in forever! its been sad! anyways football news... You and secret havent been on this thread lately and i feel alone ha ha ha. and i miss you guys hug.gif

1. I just heard that joe was probably going to go there. Cleveland has picked up SOO many strong vets in this free agency shuffle. My joe eeek.gif LeCahrles Bentley, Willie McGinest, Kevin Schaffer, Ted Washington, and Dave Zatsduli. There gonna put up a good show this year. Im not saying there gonna win the SUperbowl, but look for the Browns to be stronger than they h ave been in the past few years.

2.Ahhh, TO. The player i hate second most in the NFL. We all know who i hate the most... mad2.gif Anyways... he'll be good in Dallas. Hes better than Keyshawn but with all the same issues. Thinks hes god's gift to Football and a bag of chips on the side. And lets be honest, i dont think Parcells will take his...well... stuff. Maybe im being over critical though and He's changed his ways... lets hope so.

3. Another team thats made the heck out of this free agency? The Redskins. Picking up Ranel El is huge. and so is the pick up of Andre Carter from the 49ers. Hes a solid player and i think will really do well in Washington.

4. I think that the Saints are going to pick up D'Brickashaw. He'll fit it with their needs quite well. The only problem is that noone who needs that number two pick can put together a good enough package. The Jets have nothing to give them really and everyone else is basically sitting pretty on the QB front. Not to mention that even with the Jets sitting where they are they can get either Leinart or Young. Houston is going to draft Bush. Saints D'BRickashaw. Here's what ive read though

Tennesse really wants Leinart. Their Offensive Coordinator has worked with Leinart so the chemistry is already there. The only problem is that they can't sit there at the number three spot and hope that nothing is going to happen. If by chace the Jets do put something together they'll miss out on getting him. Also ive been hearing that Mario Williams might be the Go to guy for the Saints. ANd lets not forget about Jay Cutler. HEs gonna be a strong guy in the NFL. Better than Vince Young in my opinion who brings his football groupies everywhere he goes...

What number am i on i forgot... Its like a freaking novel!

5. My worst news of the week? Keyshawn going to the Seahawks maybe... GRowl... not happy. They need to fill the WR spot that joe left. NOt to mention getting abig target who can cut across the middle and has good hands. Joe was a big guy and wasnt afriad to take the hit. So is Keyshawn. Thats where alot of people think he will be going. The problem is that i dont think he will fit into the cohessive group that Seattle has. Their a group of really modest guys. Not to mention i dont think that the Alexander/ Johnson chemistry is going to go well. Keyshwan like getting the ball and Seattle runs the heck out of it. Plus how many fights could we expect from Holmgren and Keyshawn. Do you think Keyshawn could take it as graciously as say... Hasselbeack does? i think not.

K, im done. Im sorry if you actually read through all of this. Im venting by built up football depression. I think im gonna have to get into the European league or something.... maybe... its an obsession.

Oh, don't worry about the long post, I quite like them. Yeah, but sorry I haven't been posting more, I've just been a bit busy, I would never abandon you. So, I'm just curious, if Terrell Owens is the player you hate second most, who do you hate the most? By the way, Owens is my most hated player. I know, the Redskins did make a major day out of Free Agency, it's incredible, though, so was the cards getting Edge, that could definitely tip the balance of power for them. I mean, I can't believe I'm saying this; they have an above average passing game, fair defense, and now will have a really good funning game if their O-line can give him a little time, and I do mean little. Oh man, this should be an interesting season. Did you guys see that the schedules for the 06 season are out? I did, and I've got to say, at least for the Broncos, this is going to be tough. We have Cincy, Seattle, and Indy at home aside from our normal trio of Divisional opponents, all of which look like they'll be giving us a good run. Then on the road we have both the Superbowl champs and New England, oh boy. Well, I hope the Football gods have bestowed upon all of your guys' teams a more favorable season.

So, what do you guys think about the Commissioner stepping down (I know his name, just didn't feel like typing it). I actually surprised myself when I heard the news, I was sorely disappointed and kind of depressed. I didn't realize I had grown attached to the guy, but I had and I hate to see him go. He was one of the best Commissioners the league ever had so it'll be a shame to see him go. But oh well, I guess we just have to hope the next one can compare.

Who is the player i hate most? i thought this one was common knowledge *lol* secret knows i complain about him all the time.

Peyton Manning *lol* i just hate him for some reaon. i thinik it has to do with my hating of Quarterbacks in general.

As far as Tabligue (what a horrible last name to have to learn to spell when your like 5 ) he was an great commisioner. Really held the NFL together and the likes. plus you can just tell hes a great kinda guy. But he is getting old and probably realized it was time to step aside.

Hutchinson went to Minnesota so that kinda stinks for my Hawks. But we did pick up that LB from San Fran, i forgot who. but he had a great run before he torn his achilles.

Umm, i havent even looked at NFL.com today so i have no idea is anything else major has happened! Talk to you boys soon!

Okay Keepstar, umm, I'm not sure if we can be friends anymore, I mean honestly. How can you not like Peyton Manning, everyone loves Peyton Manning, except you of course. Just Kidding, I can see why someone might hate him, tis okay. Hey, look at me, I hate Tom Brady for no apparent reason and I'm proud of it. Maybe it's because the guy just doesn't lose! But that's okay; his tyrannical domination of the Superbowl is over now. It is time for a new Football sovereignty.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, been mucho busy, and I don't like it. It gives me no time you interact with all you people. He he he.

So anyway, have you guys heard about this bogus new proposition at the owner's meeting that if passed would make it a 15 yard penalty to use the football in a touchdown or any other kind of celebration? Oh, and you wouldn't be able to fall to the ground as part of your celebration. I think this sucks, the NFL has done a lot of things I really don't like lately, but here I must draw the line, who’s with me?
