I'm sitting here thinking of the GoF movie, of the scene where Barty Crouch, Jr. (still disguised as Moody), practically drools when he asks Harry what it was like to be in the presence of Voldemort. He's so excited by it all. Junior really worships Voldemort and it is quite obvious. It is also obvious that the man is quite insane! But, I digress. What I wanted to say is that Bellatrix is a lot like Barty Crouch, Jr. She yelled at Harry (I believe it was) not to call Voldemort by his name. A little possessive here aren't we Bellatrix?! I don't know why, but I envision her as this gothic-looking woman with pale skin (from the years spent at Azkaban) and black hair. Oh, and dressed all in leather. She's a very angry woman and is more than ready to start kicking some non-evil behinds!
I see Bellatrix as supporting, worshipping and figuratively embracing Voldemort and what he stands for! I also feel that she was his lust interest in the earlier days. So, I vote for Bellatrix and LV!

I voted for that too!
It would be unexpected if LV suddenly turns out to like someone but would JKR do it?
I mean she is always doing unexpected things so maybe . . .
Pansy and draco could definitely happen but isn’t he on the run?

Jan 29 2006, 12:12 PM
yes i think that the best couple is pansy parkinson and draco malfoy, because they are always together and pansy always laughs at what draco says im not sure about LV and Bellatrix i mean maybe in the 7th book he might start to like someone but im not really sure because he has never liked anyone!
*dementor*
Jan 29 2006, 02:12 PM
yea but thats the point......if he hasnt like anyone then it would come as a shock to everyone and harry will never be able to defeat voldemort. lets just hope it wont happen!

I'm going with the good ol' Pansy/Draco. I can see them being together, marrying, and having evil little children. I'm telling you ....Pansy is the next Bella....really!

Evil doesn't love. Evil cannot possibly feel love. It is either lust or just dllusion. None of those can love.

I think evil can love, as long as both people are equally evil. None of this namby-pamby, good person-with-evil person stuff. However, there's a strong likelihood that it wouldn't really be a love, but more of a "i like you because i might need you later to get me out of trouble" thing, or even a power struggle.
I am really not very verbose today...
As for the poll, I picked Pansy/Draco, seeing how they're an actual couple. Just so long that Pansy doesn't mind that Draco is now on the Dark Lord's list of cowards.

I tend to agree, "Evil cannot possibly feel love". I do believe that evil can only lust for another. Adolph Hitler lusted Eva Braun. I seriously doubt that he felt love for her or any woman other than his mother. He worshipped his mother. IMO, he was a classic example of a 'mama's boy'. Hitler was pure unadulterated Evil, like Voldemort. Both being psychopaths.

yea but draco is a chance! he is different and maybe will turn good.
we are not sure that he is purely evil so he might be with pansy.
you never know!

I'm a bit perplexed. Why would you say that Pansy and Draco are evil? Why would you say that Pansy is the next Bella? In actuality, we know very little of Pansy. She has had cameo appearances in the movies, and I don't even recall her speaking in these cameos.
Just because they are Slytherins and are offsprings of Death Eaters doesn't necessarily mean that they will grow up to be evil or become Death Eaters. A student from a different House can become evil, by free will, so why can't the opposite be true? I'm thinking of Barty Crouch, Jr. Now that is one seriously demented man! As I recall, his father wasn't evil.
IMO, the true evil villains in the HBP novels are the men and women who are already Death Eaters. I dare say, I believe that Draco can be redeemed. I don't consider him evil at this point in time. Quite honestly, I don't think he has what it takes to be out and out evil. I believe he may have a conscious!

Voldemort and Bellatrix hands down.
Oh and Evil cannot love it is not in its nature. It is alien to it. It rejects it. As for Bellatrix her "love" is just a very unhealthy obsession(?). But yeah, Draco and Pansy aren't pure evil yet, just bad. They still have a chance. Good luck, Draco! I still want you hexed into oblivion, though![b]

I honestly don't think Voldy could ever actually love someone, especially Bellatrix, who messed up at the Ministry in OotP. Besides, I think that Bellatrix is only a little obsessed with voldy, but not in love. So, I have to say that Pansy and MAlfoy would make a good evil couple. They seemed to enjoy each other's company in HBP.

i think draco and pansy are the most suitable couple as far as evil couples go. there the two slytherins it would make sense. i don't like voting for them because i am a big hermione and draco fan. their relationship would just be more romantic...but then again we are talking about evil couples. i can't really picture any of the other characters together.

It has to be Pansy/Draco, because Voldemort is incapable of feeling love. He has never, nor will he ever, love anyone.
Draco is a prat and so is Pansy. Match made in heaven (or hell!

partly because they are going out and
I really don't think that Snap would ever like anyone

i have to admit that there are only 2 ships in that poll that could happen. i voted for bellatrix/voldemort because i think it's a good ship but i dought it's going to happen. the other ship that can sort of go places is pansy and draco, though i dought that they'll really go anywhere with their relationship. i think that bellatrix and voldemort a good together. they're both evil, phsycotic and have the same point of views. Bellatix is also totally 100% loyal to voldemort. for me it just seems like a good couple!

Jul 7 2006, 05:11 AM
I agree. Though I highly doubt that it would ever happen, because Voldemort never loved, it would be a smart match. She is so loyal to him, and he, to a certain level, respects her. Besides, he cares enough about her, though it may just be as a follower, to grasp her from Dumbledore's clutches and from Azkaban again.

Voldy/Bella!

They're both so twisted, and Bella is literally crazy for Voldy. I mean, I know she already has Rodolphus, but the way she's so devoted to Voldy just screams of some twisted, sado-masochistic love.

Obviously, their relationship would be the angst-filled, master-servant type. Heh. Can't imagine anyone writing fluff fanfic on these two.

Nah. Pure evil can't love. Like Voldemort. Evil just can't. It is lust. I would love for Snape and Umbridge to get together though. Draco and Pansy would suit each other most though.

I would have to say...Draco/Pansy. Somehow, I find that terribly funny. We know Pansy likes Draco, to the point where she has his head in her lap, and she's giggling and hanging on his every word. (HBP) And Draco? Hmm... very likely he likes her.
Even though most evil people find it hard to love, (Voldemort and Bellatrix? Voldemort hates love!) they are both still teenagers, and are still going through
the stage!!!

I completely agree with you that Pansy likes Draco and I love how she shows it in HBP with his head in her lap, it is so sweet!
Voldemort may change his view on love and fall in love with Bella but I still highly doubt it.

I voted for Voldemort and Bellatrix.
However, I don't think that Voldemort is capable of love - isn't that how Harry survived the killing curse, his mothers love protected him
Bellatrix is just obsessed with Voldemort, so thats not real love either.
But out of all the evil characters it's the best pairing for me.

the best evil couples are pansy parkinson/draco because draco needs some one. and that would be cute.
then their is voldemort/bellatrix because if voldemort has love then he might leave harry alone

but them are the best evil couples in all of Harry Potter land

I'd go for Lucius Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange - i know lucius is married and everything, but somehow i don't think he pays much attention to his wedding vows. And Belatrix seems to like guys with power (Voldemort), so it could be a good match

Pansy Parkinson and Draco malfoy is the best evil couple ever i don't care if they are mean they are meant to be and everyone knows it they are great and even a evil little Death eater (Draco) needs some one to love him

i voted pansy/draco. theyre both so young and evil they love each other especially since draco's in trouble now so he needs a girlfriend. and voldemort doesnt love anybody remember so him and bella couldnt possibly work

I voted Voldemort/Bellatrix. They are both incapable of the whole love thing except maybe for themselves and are both the ultimate in evil. Although I did sort of want to go for Pansy/Draco because she, I think is in love with the idea of being with someone like Draco and he likes to be fawned over.

Pansy and Draco...they make a cute couple! She always laughs at his jokes and they are always together...Draco took her to the ball, and when malfoy got attacked by buckbeak...she was really worried about him and always visited him in the hospital wing...i think theres something goin on here!

In interviews, and in the books, JK says that Voldemort cannot understand love, therefore he cannot feel love. Dumbledore said that he loved Hogwarts more than any other human being in living memory. I agree with the "evil cannot possibly love" theopry myself. Voldemort has never been in love, and never will be. sorry, end of story.

i half agree and disagree with demented dementor. i agree that voldemort is incapable of loving so he will die alone. tht's for sure. but i think snape is evil. he didn't have to kill Dumbledore , the greatest wizard of al time, but he did. i like the snape and narcissa couple, but she's married so i'd have to give my vote to Draco and Pansy. but Cissy and snape is my second choice

I dont see what love has to do with it...
It asks what is the best evil COUPLE not love interest...
If LV and the BAG are in a master and servant role with a tone of dominant and submisive relationship they are a couple twisted yes but a couple non the less.
all their interests are the same or at least in the same field and they are just evil and no one is confused about their feelings towards them...
as for drac and the pansey we dont know her well enough to say she is evil she just snickers at his evil anticks and why not if she loves him. It just means she is doing the girl thing of jumping on his train so he will like her too.
and I dont think snape killed DD it was all setup between them if you really think about it while reading the book snape is backed into a corner and has to take the spell oath to quell the BAG at the start of the book then must have told DD so at the end they played it for the death eaters to save draco which they both want to help and keep snape under cover..
think he also kept them from killing harry in the escape and now his stock with the master must be rival to none even lucius never soared so high as to kill DD and harry was under wraps and spelled to prevent him from blowing the plan.
then for draco he is like part of the end as he is likely one of the trio that kills LV it was harry the dragon "draco" and the moon child not yet born "geni"
ok so spelling sux I been up most of the night ...

I would say Pansy and Draco because they are always together and Pansy really cares about Draco and visits him when he is sick and kaughs at his jokes and Malfoy likes her and went to the Yule Ball with her so they are the best evil couple in my opinion.
